BARRY ALLEN SEVEN YEARS AFTER SUPERMAN CAME TO EARTH
Barry Allen is an only child who lives with his mother and father on Dolkyn Street in Central City California. His mother is a music teacher who teaches private lessons. His father is a pit mechanic for a successful race car driver. They are best friends with their next door neighbors the Wests. Barry gets straight A's in school and is very intelligent.
He comes home from school to find his mother teaching her students. So he goes upstairs to do his homework. It only takes him an hour to finish everything. Just as he turns on the television his mother comes to his room. "How was school?"
"Fine!"
"Fine!" She mockingly says, "I'm going to put dinner on. You wash up."
"After the cartoons. Please!" She rolls her eyes and leaves. He smiles and continues watching his program. Then he hears a scream from downstairs. "Mom!" Barry creeps downstairs and peeks into the living room. He gasps, because his mother is on her knees in the center of the room while red and yellow lightning with flashes of the same color jump all around her. The room is shaking as if there is a tornado in his room.
"Mom!"
"Run Barry!"
Something grabs him and Barry screams as all around him is yellow light. When its stops he looks around and throws up. "Mom." He starts crying and spots a House with tricycle in front of it. That means whoever lives there has children. He walks to the House and knocks on the door. "Yes." A man says answering.
"Please…I don't know how I got here. Can you help me?"
A few hours later his neighbor Officer Joe West comes to pick him up. "Barry…How did you get here?"
"Where is here?"
"Twenty Blocks away."
"I…I…don't know. Something grabbed me and I felt like I was being carried. How is my mother?"
His mother had been killed and the police believed that his father Henry Allen did it. They found him with the body and a murder weapon. A single stab to the heart. Barry tried to tell them that his father was not responsible, but no one believed him. Neither was he allowed to testify in his father's trial. Barry was taken in by Joe West and he grew up beside his childhood crush Iris.
"Joe."
"Yeah Barry."
"What do I have to do to become a crime scene investigator?" He asks a few months later after moving in with the Wests.
FIFTEEN YEARS LATER
Barry graduates from High School Valedictorian and then he fishes college in two years having taken summer courses. To pay for school he wrote an AI program and sold it to Wayne Enterprises. He also graduated top of his class at CSI school. Barry gets posted at Joe's precinct and has to work under another CSI guy.
His first day he has to catalog evidence and run tests. When his break comes up he looks at his father's file. Then he goes to his old House after work. No one had been in the House since the day his mother was killed. "Barry?"
"Oh high Joe."
"What are you doing?"
He sighs, "Looking for something the cops may have missed."
"Barry? Dinner is ready." He says and leaves.
The next day at work he is called to the Chief's office. "Mister Allen…I run a tight ship here. I know what is happening with all my people. So I am disappointed to find out that you are looking into closed cases."
"On my off time sir using my own CSI equipment."
"And the file you took? It was an open and shut case. For you to be looking into is an insult to the Officers, Detectives, and this precinct."
"I meant no disrespect sir."
"Then shut it down."
"Yes sir."
To make up for his actions Barry looks into one of the unsolved mystery cases. He finds evidence linking the murder of the couple to the husband's business partner. He receives a promotion for his efforts. Every month on his day off Barry goes to see his father. "How ya holding up dad?"
"I'm fine kid."
"Do you need anything?"
"Yeah I need you to live your life kid."
"I swear to you dad, That I will find the person who murdered mother and prove your innocence." A few days later he has dinner date with Iris.
"How is your dad holding up?"
He sighs, "Fine…Joe has friends inside the prison. Guards who watch over him so no one bothers him."
"I just wish."
"I know." On the way home someone grabs Iris' purse, Barry chases them, but he is unable to catch the guy.
"I wish this city had a Green Arrow or Steel."
"Come on we'll go to the station and make a report."
That is when Barry gets the idea and starts writing a new AI program he calls Gideon. He calls his friend Cisco Ramon to help him write the program and design the hologram. It takes them two months to build the interactive program.
