Anyway I am back with my next installment to Tiger Strike and now, we focus on the other arcs of the story. Especially one I have been neglecting for a little bit. { Chapter 43: A New Day... }

Once again, Alnus Air Field was a buzz with activity. As dozens of military truck and ambulances of various types, lined the pre-fabricated tarmac and waited. The operation from the night before had been a stunning success, but one that was bitter sweet for the coalition. Their were several individuals that were found dead in Zorzal's dungeon, all of whom bore marks of violence about their bodies and were nothing more that human skeleton before they died. It was a discovery that would forever haunt the Japanese SFG soldiers that found them, as well as the Coalition Commanders who were watching the feed that was being sent.

Obviously this was not going to sit well with the general public once news of the raid broke, especially with the governments that were taking part in Tiger Strike. There were already calls from Washington, New New Delhi and Manila to have an more aggressive stance on the Saderan Government, especially after the special hearing at the United Nations. But some how Tokyo had managed to calm these voices and allow Japanese Diplomats to find a peaceful solution to this conflict. But with the discovery that a high ranking member of the Imperial Family had kept a number of slaves in his home at a time Japan had actively been trying to locate those taken from Ginza, there was just no telling what would happen now. Especially since a number of them had died as a result of the Prince's treatment.

One thing was certain though, The Empire was not going to like what might come next...

Suddenly, the familiar sound of turbo-prop engines filled the cool morning air, as Snake Pitt made its final approach and touched down on the air field's single yet wide runway. No sooner had the Spooky thundered past and began to taxi off towards its hanger, a formation of six Little Bird and three Chinook helicopters came in over the air base and made their final approach.

No sooner had the Nightstalker Chinooks touched down, ,medical teams swarmed the aircraft as the flight crews began to carry off the women that had been rescued. Many of them showing signs of malnutrition and physical abuse. But what really disturbed the ground crews as they carried off the sick an injured, was the fact that many of these girls looked like they could not have been no older than 17. This meant that many of them had been kidnapped when they were probably just 15 or even 14. It was a sickening realization that the ground crews and medical teams tried to fight back, as they had to make sure that the liberated slaves got the medical attention they needed.

A make field hospital had been set up in one of the hangers, as the Base hospital itself was still treating those who had been hurt during the Earthquake. Additional medical personnel had been brought in as well, including a contingent of Canadian Peace Keepers who had only just arrived as part of the United Nations contingent. They would be joining the Italian and Egyptian units already in Falmart, but would only provide medical support for the Coalition forces. But while the first ambulances drove off with their passengers towards the hanger, the Little Birds and their occupants landed a short distance away.

With their mission over, the joint Japanese-American task force disembarked their helicopters and boarded the troop carriers that were waiting for them. These truck would return these men to their respective barracks where after giving statements and being debriefed, the men would be given some much needed down time. But while the SEALs and SFG would rest, there would be one who had other things to do before she did the same.

Although she didn't get her chance to kill Zorzal last night, Tyuule knew that she would get her chance for revenge sooner or later. But now there was one person she wanted to see and tell them about the rescue mission. Noriko was in no way the only Other Worlder Zorzal kept in his palace and there were many other young women the prince had his way with on an almost daily basis. Just like Noriko, Tyuule tried her best to protect those girls from the clutches. But she was not always successful.

No child should have gone through what those girls did over those months, they did not deserve such a fate. Tyuule cursed herself every night a girl was taken, but never returned. She blamed herself as much as she as, as she blamed herself for not saving her people. But with the aid of the Other Worlders, Tyuule was finally able to free them form their hellish prison and soon they would be able to go home. Tyuule could not wait to tell her friend about the good news, her only friend now that she thought about it. But as the trucks pulled away from the now dormant helicopters, the Former Quuen could not have imagined that there were forces conspiring to destroy everything the Coalition had accomplished so far.

Italica...

Despite prospering, there were still a few persons within the city who saw Italica's alliance with the Other Worlders as a bad thing. Some were merchants who prospered under the Imperial reign over the citu, while others just did not believe that Myui was old enough to make such a decision that effected thousands of Italica's citizens. But if there was one person who despised the Coalition the most... it was a man named Bartholemew.

At first glace, one would believe that Bartholemew was your typical kindly old man who had faithfully served the Formal House Hold for many years. This was true, as he had become a member of the Formal staff when he was just 17 years of aged and had worked himself up from being a simple stable boy to eventually made it to "Head Butler" of the Formal House hold. An accomplishment that did not go un-noticed by Count Formal, as both him and Bartholemew developed a friendship over the years. But the seemingly kind and humble butler had a side to him that not even Count Formal or Kaine herself knew.

You see like most humans, Bartholemew had his vices and in his case, it was women. Bartholemew would often make trips to the Imperial Capitol and visit many of the establishments that were known to exist in the less than reputable districts of the city. Establishments that were known to offer high quality "services" for the right price for people like the lustful butler and when he could not go to Sadera, Bartholemew would often pay women to spend the night with him in his home in Italica. Obviously, these services were not cheap even with the money he was getting from his employment ( Which was really good, by the way) and it was not long before the butler began to gather some serious debt. The kind of debt that you really should pay off before the people you owed money too came after you to collect.

Fortunately for him, the Head Butler had begun to supplement his income by secretly selling information about the Formal clan to not only he Empire, but other certain groups who were willing to pay for such information. His acts of treason had managed to pay off his debts to his creditors, but also allowed him to once again indulge in his vices and eventually, lead him back into debt. It was a vicious cycle, but somehow Bartholemew made it work. But that soon changed after the Gate opened and the Empire abandoned the city. Most of his contacts fled the city not to long after the Other Worlders occupied Italica, thus destroying most of his income. Yet, he still continued with his weekly trysts with women and as you would expect, his debt climb and his creditors were starting ask questions he could not answer.

But salvation came when one of his former clients left a message for him at his home, instructing the butler to bring a certain item and that he would be paid very well for his work. Who was he to turn down easy money? Now he was here in one of Italica's less that reputable taverns to meet with his contact.

The air was musky and the lighting was not the best, as women of various ages talked up potential clients to spend their time with for the evening. It was a tavern the Butler was all too familiar with and had many fond memories as a result, but today he was here for business, rather that pleasure.

"Glad to see you could make it." a female voice suddenly said and when he looked, Bartholemew soon found himself face to face with one would originally think was a cat girl. But of course, the elderly Butler knew better. She wore a brown cloak that covered most of her physical features, save for her cat like face. Her eyes glowed an eerie green color in the candle light, which illuminated her feline features on her face. "Have you got what my leader asked for?

"Right here." Bartholemew replied, as he handed over a small bag to his new companion. "I am certain this is what you wanted?"

The Cat woman smiled wickedly, as she looked in the bag and saw its contents. Without another word, she then took out three large sacks of gold coins and placed it on the table before the old man. "I am certain this is more than enough to pay for your services. Bouro sends his gratitude for your services."

"Thank you, miss." Bartholemew replied, as he took up the bags of gold and pocketed them in his own robes. But as he looked up to speak with his companion again, the butler realized that he was once again alone at the table.

"Excuse me, sir." a very curvy Fox girl asked, as she walked up to his table. "But would you mind buying a young las like me a drink?"

Looking at the fox girl (She was young enough to be his grand daughter) Bartholemew quickly forgot about his meeting with the cat woman and decided to use his new found wealth on a wel deserved evening with this young fox woman...

Fort Ginza...

To say that the last few days were eventful, would have been correct, with an Earthquake followed up by a snap rescue mission being launched and all. Even now, almost a hundred recently liberated hostages were now being treated in a make shift hospital at Alnus Field. But despite all this, there were stll other issues in which General Hazama had to deal with. All of which had been placed on hold due to recent events.

There was still a lot more that needed to be done, but for now the Japanese would just to deal with this particular issue head on. Buzzing his secutary to allow his guests in, Hazama stood up from his desk just as Yao and Lei Lei entered his office.

"Ah, Miss Dushi." The general greeted the Dark Elf woman, as Lei Lei translated for them both. "I hope your stay has been pleasant."

"It... had been an enlightening experience." Yao replied, all be it a shaken by all she seen and heard. "I hope you have some good news for me in regards to my people's request for help."

Hazama retook his seat behind his wooden desk and sighed. "Miss Dushi, the request you have made, under normal circumstances the member Nations which make up this coalition would not take your request under consideration." The Japanese General stated, sounding as if he did not like what he was saying to the obviously desperate Elf Woman. "You must understand that the primary Goal of our mission here is to rescue our people, as well as bring all those who were responsible for attacking my nation to justice."

Yao suddenly began to feel a sinking sensation in the pit of her muscular belly, as Lei Lei translated the General's words. Were these other worlders not going to help her people? Were the rewards not great enough to warrant their undivided attention? Why wouldn't they help her, her people? Had all she had been through been for nothing? A distressed expression soon began to appear on her face, something that did not go un-noticed by Lei Lei.

"However..." Hazama continued. "I have recently received a letter from King Duran of Elbe. He has also requested our assistance against an Aquadraco that has attacked several villages and towns within his kingdom. Apparently, both of your peoples hare being attacked by the same beast."

"So... what does that mean?" the Dark Elf asked the General, still not sure as to just what he was trying to say.

"Our Coalition has a defense pact with the Kingdom of Elbe, as well as many others." Hazama explained. "Which means we are obligated to assist them with what ever emergency, should they ask for it. From what you have told us about the location of your people, you all reside within Elbe so by extension, your clan."

"So... that... means...?"

"Your people will receive our help, as well as what ever aid they require." Hazama said with a smile, as he could see he expression change from one of dispair to that of absolute joy. But what happened next, no one saw coming.

As Yao, in one swift move, jumped over the General's desk and tackled the older looking man with a massive hug. Much to the surprise of Hazama, who was not expecting to be hugged by a curvy, crying elf woman.

"THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!" Yao cried happily into Hazama's shoulder, her tears soaking inti the Japanese man's uniform.

Hazama, not sure as to what to do at this point, just sat there and hoped the dark skinned woman release him from her vice like grip. It would take a couple days while for a proper task force to be formed and deployed to the Elbe Kingdom, but at least now Yao knew that help would soon come for her people.

Alnustown...

If there was anyone who genuinely loved living in the growing city near the hill, it would hae been Delilah. The Warrior Bunny and Tavern owner quite literally jumped at the chance at moving from Italica and opening her own business near the Other Worlder base. Like many of her kind who lived in Italica, Delilah was just one of the many Warrior Bunnies who fled the Northern Territories after the Saderan Army invaded and were forced to do many unsavory things just to survive. She lost a lot of friends during those tough times, but fate eventually lead her to Italica. Where she was approached by the head maid and given a chance of a new life by Count Formal himself.

While employed by the Formal House hold, the warrior bunny soon grew to love her new home and the family that took in her people. For the first time in months, the refugee bunny had a home with a bed to sleep in every night and she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her. But Delilah had her own dreams that she wanted to become reality. Prior to the war, the Warrior bunny had her own taven in her old village before it was destroyed. She wanted to have that sense of accomplishment again so she began to save the money she received from the Formal Clan to reopen her business.

She had some money by the time Italica broke away from the Empire and when she was offered a chance to move to Alnus town to assist the Coalition, the bunny girl took that chance. With some financial help from Kaine and the blessing of Countess Myui, Delilah was finally able to open her business and now, "The Bunny Stop" was by far thee most popular tavern in Alnustown with a healthy customer base of both locals and Colaition personnel. While Delilah herself, became a fixture at the establishment and was known for her cheerful and upbeat attitude.

After so many years of hardship, she had finally achieved her dream.

After another long day at the Bunny Stop, Delilah decided to go home and get some rest. That night, a party was going to be held by some of the Other Worlders for one of their companions and Delilah intended to give him one he would not soon forget.

Opening the door of her modest apartment, the Warrior Bunny was about to collapse onto her bed when she saw something resting on her pillow. It was a scroll that carried the official seal of the House of Formal. Curious as to why her Countess sent her a message, Delilah broke the seal and began to read its content...

She could have felt her heart immediately drop as her blood began to boil. Her grip on said scroll getting tighter and tighter as her usually calm and cheerful demeanor quickly evaporated.

"That bitch!" Delilah growled dangerously, as she finished reading the message that had been sent to her. After causing so much suffering to their people, Queen Tyuule was not only escaped from Prince Zorzal, but the witch now resided within the Other Worlder fort.

Because of that bitch and what she had done, Delilah had lost not only her home but many of her friends as well. Because of Tyuule, the Bunny Clans had lost everything while she herself became a sex slave to the Prince. Now she was here in the other worlder base, just one mile away from her home and by Hardy, the Former Queen was not going to escape her wrath! Tyuule need to pay for her actions and Delilah intended collect.

Going into her closet, the Warrior Bunny pulled out a some what large steamer trunk that she used when she first moved to Alnustown. Opening once again, Delilah's eyes soon came upon something she never thought she would be wearing so soon. When she and her companions first fled their home, the Warrior Bunnies made a pact that they would not wear their battle attire until they killed their Former Queen. Now would be that time.

Dawning her traditional Warrior Bunny battle attire, Delilah sat knelt down in front of a small altar she had set up in her room just for this moment. The Warrior Bunny chanted to herself as she placed her blade into its sheath, knowing very well that when it came back out, it would taske Tyuule's blood.

With one last sigh, Delilah got up from her position on the floor and exited her apartment via its window. All the while being watch by the very same individual who left the scroll for her to find...
