AN: One review to cover today, here it is!
tiguylerobot: So I believe that in the original the point of the two of them going against All Might was not because they felt Izuku could handle it with OfA, but that the whole point was to get Izuku and Katsuki to work together in some fashion. In this story, they have a better relationship, but both of them have become quite headstrong, and haven't had battles, each other notwithstanding, that actually caused them a large amount of challenge, or that they outright lost. The goal here now is to try to show them that there are times when running from a battle is sometimes the best option, if you can't handle the battle in front of you. Whether or not this lesson will actually HIT the two is a different question entirely, however.
Shouta started moving from rooftop to rooftop the second the buzzer sounded, towards the direction he knew his recommended students would be entering from. He had chosen to go against the two since they were both quite reliant on their quirks as a part of their fighting, Todoroki moreso than Yaoyorozu. They needed to learn to be able to fight without them whenever they needed to.
As he swung and ran through the area, he finally spotted the two, walking down the middle of the street in the direction of the exit. Todoroki's right hand had visible cold air drifting slowly off of it, likely as a way to know if he was nearby and using his quirk on them. A decent strategy, but it wouldn't tell them he was there until he was already right on top of them.
Shouta cancelled both their quirks, first Yaoyorozu's before setting of their alarm by negating Todoroki's, and jumped towards the two, scarf at the ready to take them down. Unfortunately, it seemed Yaoyorozu had heard him moving, and turned towards him. Shouta watch as his student, in one fluid motion, pulled a pistol on him, aimed, and shot him directly in the shoulder.
Shouto Todoroki understood the plan from the beginning, but even knowing she was using rubber bullets, watching one of his classmates shoot their teacher was still a sight to behold. The impact of the bullet must have caused the man to blink, since his ice started back up condensing water in his right hand. He threw waves of ice towards Aizawa, but the man impressed him by already having recovered from the attack and was able to dodge the ice.
Shouto threw fire up next, knowing the plan was to keep the teacher's visibility as limited as possible to keep him from interrupting Yaoyorozu behind him. After a few seconds of buying time, she called out to him, signaling him to fall back behind her.
He watched the girl step ahead of him, this time holding a much larger rifle, and fire it directly at Aizawa. The man blocked the bullet with his scarf, only to go down shuddering as the taser bullet shot electricity through the weave wrapped around his neck. Now holding the rifle with only one hand, she whipped her sword forwards at their teacher, binding his arms to his sides and holding him down, her rifle still trained on his forehead.
Shouto took this as the signal to finish their plan and quickly cuffed Aizawa, allowing the girl to release him from her blade's grip and click the rifle's safety back on.
"YAOYOROZU AND TODOROKI HAVE PASSED!" the speakers blared right after the cuffs clasped around his wrists.
"Where did you even... learn all that Yaoyorozu?" Aizawa groaned as he started to get up from the pavement.
"Snipe!" The girl said in a chipper voice that did not match well with the fact that she was still holding a large rifle in her hands.
"Figures..."
"Why are your plans always this crazy?" Kacchan asked as they went over their strategy against All Might.
"It's still a good plan though, right?" Kacchan grew his trademark sneering grin.
"Just the kind I can get behind. One question though," Izuku perked up, as Kacchan continued, "we're totally calling out the names of the super moves as we use them, right?" Izuku's grin rose to match Kacchan's.
"Oh, absolutely."
Toshinori didn't quite understand why they would be sending the two boys to fight him, since... they were both strong, that was without question after their respective showings in the Sports Festival, but having him be their opponent was like throwing them to the wolves, wasn't it?
Toshinori wiped his brow as he ran through the mock city their battle would be taking place in, with the July sun beating down mirages were starting to form above the blacktop. Certainly not his favorite conditions to fight, since sweat aggravated his injury, but he'd take what he got.
As he spotted Midoriya walking towards him, quite a ways away but on the same street that ran straight from the entrance to the exit, he leapt forward, coming down about ten feet away with his signature 'I AM HERE!'.
All Might still had a bit of qualms over fighting the two, although Bakugou was notably nowhere to be seen, but he remembered it was a test anyways and threw a haymaker right at Midoriya.
"SMASH!"
"Impact Cancel!"
Twin bells rang out through the city as his fist impacted Midoriya's open palm, pushing the boy back a slight bit, but otherwise not budging him, All Might's motion having been entirely stopped by the burst of force that shot out of Midoriya's palm.
