"I guess you find the interview huh?" He asked back, only answering him by a nod, Anaiel and laylah were beside yulil, eyes fixed on him.
Yulil looked away for a bit, wondering what he could say He sighed and looked back at Felicity who was crossing her arms, waiting for an explanation.
He took a deep breath before he spoke "That yulil died when he met you three, you gave him something to actually care for, the new yulil is as happy as he can get" he said as he pointed at himself smirking.
Felicity, Anaiel and Laylah looked at each other before smiling a smile of relief "You still should've told us, this kind of attitude won't get you far yulil" Anaiel replied.
Yulil gave her a light hearted chuckle before he stepped between Laylah and Anaiel who was leaning against the jeep, he did the same before forming a smile.
"It got me far enough" he replied.
Felicity pinched her nose bridge "Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she'd kill you someday" Anaiel said while pointing at Felicity
"Nah, she's too nice hahah" yulil replied as Felicity took a deep breath
"You should really try and depend on us you know? It really hurts that you don't seem to trust us" She said
"I know, I know... But I'm doing Great now, just look at this wonderful base of ours" he raised both arms in the direction of the base's buildings.
"And i got you three back in my life, what could I ask more?" He added with a warm smile
The trio sighed in unison.
"We are the ones who got you back in our lives" laylah said as she pushed her glasses back up.
"Just try and talk when you've got something on your chest alright? you were the one who told us to do that, can't you even do it yourself?" Felicity said angrily
"Fine fine, I'll try... Now, how about you three stay with me here for a while, I kinda missed our shenanigans" he said with a chuckle.
"We'd love to do that but we need to go back, our squad is being transferred to another outpost sadly, so we won't be seeing each other for a while" Felicity said with a sigh.
"Aww, that's a shame, I guess it can't be helped" yulil replied
"Besides, I don't think we're welcomed here" Anaiel said, giving a wink to felicity as she pointed to the top of the warehouse, it was the furthest building from the front entrance.
Yulil turned to look as he noticed a glint quickly appearing and disappearing on the roof.
"Ah, so you noticed them too eh? I'd say there are three tdolls there, observing us, they're quite curious aren't they?" Felicity replied.
"Nah, they're four" Anaiel corrected her, felicity gave her smirk.
"I execpt nothing less from our scout" Felicity replied
"Welp, we'll be leaving now yulil, try not to get yourself killed alright? We'll see each other in a week or so" Anaiel said as she handed him a closed fist and a smile
He slowly smiled back while fist bumping her.

"Welp, I guess that all I could ask for" she replied before putting her hands behind her back and walking towards the passenger door.
"You sure you can keep that promise?" Laylah asked
"Well... I'll do my best, how's that?" She could only give a sigh.
"You better" she said with a smile "Or you know what'll happen, I'll bring you back from the dead myself and kick your ass" Felicity replied, she was crossing her arms and had a stern look on her face .

"Ah, my favourite commander, where were you?" Kalina said after meeting with him in the hallway of the base He thought maybe it'd be best not to tell her about the free torture session he got from the kind and loving ak12
"Oh you know... Doing tactics?" He said as he raised his hands and eyebrows "That sounded more like a question than an answer, you know what? Forget about it" she said as she held her head from the frustration.
"Ah, I forgot, remember that training field that got infiltrated a few days ago?"
Yulil raised an eyebrow "Yeah? What about it? Didn't they push SF back?" Yulil asked
"Yes, to only get attacked once again, however this attack was much more coordinated and... well, Efficient" she said as she looked away.
Yulil let out a mix between a groan and sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Lemme guess, it's a ringleader?"
"Unfortunately yes..."
"And the casualties?"
Kalina looked uneasy as she looked for the correct words.
"Well... They drive them back, with no reported casualties for now, but..."
"But?"
"The commander of that area got in contact with the ringleader"
"That can't be good"
"The ringleader who called herself executioner dismembered the commander's arm"
Yulil stepped towards the wall and leaned back, he put both hands on his face before he drove them back his hair, he then sighed and looked back at kalina.
"How is he or she doing for now?"
"Even though Nerine lost a lot of blood, she's in stable condition for now and is back commanding her troops, she's thinking of doing a counter attack to eliminate executioner"
"So she's planning on killing executioner huh?... Figures... Is she capable of doing so?"
"Well, she did prove herself multiple times, so I'm guessing she has a chance at it"
"I see... Well... I need to do something now, thanks for telling me" he said, waiting for no response as he turned his back and walked back the way he came from.
"Jeez..." Kalina said before she sighed and decided to leave him alone for now.
Yulil was walking within the hallway as he was biting his nails, numerous scenarios and consequences were racing in his head, he couldn't stop thinking about what to do.l, he first head to his room, and after changing his drenched clothes he got some informations about the commander and the sector she was posted to, with enough intelligence on her he decided to head for his office, thinking of what to do.
"Oh! Yulil!" A voice said as he reached a corner.
He turned his head to find his trio of ringleaders, with architect holding ash in her arms.
"Oh your timing is perfect" yulil replied as he joined the trio.
"Looks like you need us, go on" intruder added, crossing her arms and fully focusing on what was bothering her commander.
"So I'm guessing all of you know executioner right?" They all nodded, well, all except ash but it was to be expected "Someone is trying to kill her, I know what you're probably saying right now, what's new about it, well... this time It's a much more personal reason than pleasing the top brass"
"Is she really in danger? I mean it's a ringleader we're talking about, Griffin couldn't even scratch us until you showed up" intruder replied.
"Humans do fight better when it's a personal reason" Gager added
"And we pretty much have a living proof here, I can see your point" intruder replied to Gager while winking at yulil.
"I'd love to humour you but we're basically fighting against time, that commander will launch an attack sooner or later, she'll probably throw all she has too" yulil said, he then raised a finger of each hand in the air.
"Either executioner wins the fight and take out that commander, or..."
Yulil dropped one hand and left his left finger in the air "Executioner gets killed, even if she surrenders, which knowing her I highly doubt she'll surrender, she'd be killed either way"
Architect widened her eyes like an idea popped in her head as she finally broke her silence "Then why don't we go and rescue her?!"
Yulil slowly smirked and made a finger gun aimed at architect's face.
"Spot on Archy~... and so I'll be needing your help, I prefer avoiding a frontal confrontation with Nerine so we won't have to kill her troops, but if it comes to it, you three are the best matchup, you girls are practically bulletproof against pistol and low power rifle cartridges, so neutralising her troops without killing them will be a Breeze"

"So we'll be going with you right right?!" She said, only to get karate chopped by Gager.
"Of course that's what he meant"
"Owie, hey! I just asked okay?"
"But well that does raise the question on how we're getting to that sector" Yulil said while holding his chin "I doubt the pilots would agree to fly without direct orders from the higher ups, they'd probably be dismantled if they'd get find out, I'm sure even izuna wouldn't agree, hm~" he said as he looked at the ground.
"That kinda hurts"
Yulil raised his head and looked at the trio, the voice didn't seem like it came from them, he looked at his left and noticed a wild pouting izuna as she was peaking from the corner, with only her pouting face visible
"Well, am I wrong?" Yulil replied Izuna intensified her pouting before she stepped up to yulil and pushed him with her finger.
"Of course you are! I listen only to what my own commander tells me, even better, I need to go bring back some supplies from commander Anna's base, we'll take that excuse and head for the sector you wanna go, and I won't be taking no for an answer"
"Okay okay, you got me" he said with a light hearted chuckle "So when are you taking off?"
"Today at 18:30, we'll arrive at around 20:00, so this will be a night operation, you know what that means, right?"
"Yeah, night vision and Infrared lights, well only for me since you girls have them integrated, anyway... Let's meet at 18:30 on top of the helipad"
"Sounds good to me" intruder said, leaning against the wall.

He closed the folder and threw it on his double bed, he checked his watch for a confirmation and it was positive, it was time.
He decided to put his benilli M4 shotgun to rest, he grabbed it in his hands one last time as he caressed the receiver "Cheers for taking care of me for the past few days, you beauty more than deserve a few days off" he muttered while gently putting it on one of the weapons rack.
He grabbed his leg holster and attached it to his right leg before putting his Beretta 93R inside of it, he then grabbed his plate carrier and wore it, then he attached his bayonet he got from echo squad in the sheathe attached to his plate carrier, he also grabbed another backup knife and attached it to his lower back, the blade inside of its sheathe pointing to the ground and tilted 45 degrees to the left, so he could easily pull it out with his right hand, after that yulil grabbed a couple of smoke, flash and fragmentation grenades, attaching all of them on his military belt and finishing with wearing his elbow and knee pads.
He then decided to roam around the Armory looking for a suitable firearm for the mission, with a team this small and the multiple main objectives he will definitely be separated from them, and so he needed a versatile weapon that could be used in all ranges, an assault rifle would be perfect.
After a little bit of searching he finally found what he thought would be the most optimal main weapon, a Colt cm901, loaded with the intimidating 7.62x51mm

Yulil smiled and made his choice, he first grabbed an Infrared laser and Infrared flashlight, placing the former on the top front of the gun and the latter on the right side of the cm901, yulil then grabbed a holographic sight and a 3x magnifier, attaching both of them on top of his CM901, he flipped the magnifier to the side and looked through the holographic sight first, it gave him a well enough peripheral vision for close quarters combat.
Yulil then flipped the magnifier back, magnifying the image 3 times, this will help with medium range firefights, giving yulil a good and versatile approach to any situation he'd come up against, better safe than sorry he thought, and in this line of work better safe than dead, he chuckled at his own cheesy joke and starting heading out to get one more tool for this mission.
He opened his wardrobe and looked around, after he threw a considerable amount of clothes behind him he finally found his last equipment, the underbarrel 12 gauge shotgun commander Anna gave him as a gift.
He easily attached it under the cm901 with the help of the picatinny rail, he then grabbed what little was left of the dragon's breath shells he got from five seven and threw them inside of his front pouch.
He gently tossed the gun in the air, feeling the increased weight in his hands, he sighed thinking that it'll burden him by a lot.
A small price to pay for versatility he thought, but his toolkit will open up quite a few additional plans, the thought of which made him smile.
"Finally, we thought you'd chicken out" intruder said, leaning against izuna's blackhawk, with a smile on her face.
"Nice sarcasm you got there, anyway, are you girls all ready?" He said as he put one arm on his slinged cm901
"As ready as I'll ever be" intruder muttered
"Of course! I can't wait until our first mission together starts!" Architect cheerfully said with the sleeping looking ash in her arms.
Gager like always, only nodded at yulil, he knew she didn't personally dislike him, either she wasn't much of a talker, or was still uncomfortable with humans.
"Let's roll out then, we've got a friend to save" yulil said as the strike team boarded the helicopter, after a few seconds the Heli took off, heading for sector S01
"So what's the plan yulil?" Intruder asked, slightly leaning with her fingers interlaced and her hands on her legs.
Yulil checked his Night vision Googles one last time before switching his focus to Intruder.
"If luck is on our side then we'll finish this before Nerine attacks, if not then we'll split up, me, intruder and ash will neutralise and secure executioner, while Archy and Gager, you two will hold nerine's advance, you two are a good duo, so you'll be a pain in the ass for her"
"Alrighty, sounds good to me" intruder said, as she looked like she relaxed a bit.
"Aww, and I wanted to fight alongside you yulil" architect said in an increasingly depressing tone.
Yulil sighed and put his arm around her.
"If the mission go smoothly enough and you prove your worth, then we'll be deploying way more times together, how about that?"
He knew perfectly well that architect was stronger than every tdoll he has in his roster, but he needed her to think that he doesn't know that.
Yulil could suddenly see a glint inside of her eyes as her ambition skyrocketed.
"Yes! I'll do my best! You won't have to worry about anything with me here!" She said out loud.
"That's the spirit, though please don't yell, my ears just got perforated" he said with a smile.
"Woops sorry hehe" she scratched the back of her head with her tongue out, the rest chuckled as the journey continues in a good mood.
"ETA in 20 seconds!" Izuna said out loud as she raised her right hand, physically confirming their arrival.
Yulil nodded as he got up and walked to the sliding door, he opened it and looked at the destroyed city, it wasnt different much to the ones in his sector, looks like humanity has a lot to gain back he though before he sighed and decided to focus on the matters that he could change, these cities' fate will after the end of the war.
To his right were a chain of mountains, Nerine's base was just behind them, he pulled his night vision Googles down to his eyes as he inhaled deeply.
"How the hell am I gonna do this without fighting her troops" yulil muttered to himself.
"Leave that to us" intruder suddenly said as she put her hand on his right shoulder, he turned to look at her and gave her a warm smile.
"You really didn't change one bit" he replied with a chuckle
"Now if only I could remember those days, but I guess it's okay, we can make new memories together"
"I like the way you think, but still, let's at least try to find a way to get them back"
"Thanks, I mean it" intruder replied while giving him a smile.
"Don't mention it, it's my duty as your commander to take care of you all, now, let's get our old friend back" yulil said as he cracked his knuckles, his doubts were eliminated by the little chat with intruder, now beaming with self-confidence.
As soon as the helicopter touched the ground yulil jumped and scanned the horizon, waiting for his small strike team to disembark.
As izuna took off, each of his team gave him a thumbs up, showing their readiness to advance.
Yulil crouched down and gestured to ash to come towards him while each of the ringleaders started scanning their surroundings.
"Yes?" Ash asked
"Okay, ash, you'll be our scout, activate your cloak and try to scout the city before we reach it, if you find nothing worthy to report back I want you to head towards the road leading to Nerine's base and report back as soon as you see her advancing towards the city, got all of it?" He asked
Ash held her chin before she gave him the okay sign "Got it, good luck yulil" ash said before she vanished.
"To you too" yulil said, not knowing if it reached her or not, he sighed and raised his cm901, before gesturing to his team to rally behind him, with their objective, executioner's base, deep into the city.
"Trigger discipline people, don't forget that nerine is also a Griffin commander, I really don't want some blue on blue incidents tonight" yulil said, keeping his cheek on his stock as he scanned the front with the help of the magnifier.
"Of course, we'll only open fire at sangvis Ferri tdolls, then again Griffin tdolls can't hurt us much, unless they've got heavy weaponry" intruder replied, as she held her minigun with both hands, scanning the left side.
"We're agile enough to dodge unguided rockets, so even heavy weaponry isn't a solid counter against us" Gager added, with a bit of a proud tone.
"I see, then let's hope everything goes to plan, if we're lucky, we'll be exfiltrating with executioner before Nerine launches her attack, and if not, then we'll adapt according to the situation" yulil concluded.
Yulil and his squad finally entered the city, ash didn't break silence radio and so yulil deducted that the city was quiet, at least for the most part.
They passed on top of the bridge safely before yulil gestured to take the alleyway.
As they concealed themselves within the alleyway, yulil took his map that was folded inside of his pouch while the others were on overwatch.
"Right" yulil said, finishing with the map as he folded it back and put it inside of his pouch.
"As planned, we navigate through the city and reach her base, it should be on the other entrance of the city" he added
"I'm guessing we couldn't just land there because of Anti air right?" Intruder asked
"Correct" yulil said before he got up and gripped his assault rifle "Our Helicopters don't have the technology of the military, so sangvis Ferri anti air is enough to take us down" he added before delving deeper into the alleyway, followed by his small team.
He suddenly raised his fist when he reached the end of the alleyway, the ringleaders came to a halt as architect kept her weapon aimed behind them.
Yulil slowly peeked, he could see 2 vespids alongside 2 strikers, the strikers held a minigun in their hands, their profile said that they have a special kind of targeting system, being in their line of sight is highly discouraged.
"Strikers, two... Vespids, two... Alright" He said as he turned his gaze to his curious teammates.
"intruder and Archy you stay here and cover our backs, Gager, you take position on top of this building and move towards the closest position to them on the roof, cut them in half when I fire the first shot, can I depend on you?" He said while shoving his hand inside of his front pouch
Gager nodded twice with a serious face.
"Alrighty, let's take em out" he concluded with taking a suppressor out of his pouch and screwing it on his cm901
Yulil crouched and ran towards the closest car to the exit of the alleyway, he slid down and took cover behind it.
He then took a deep breathe and peeked, the SF tdolls looked like they still haven't spotted him, he also noticed a faint silhouette moving at lightning speed on the roof, he smirked and advanced to the next car.
As he reached the next car, the distance between him and the enemy was about 20 meters, he moved towards the back of the car and rested his weapon on the top of the trunk, he then slowly aimed at one of the striker.
He steadily pressed the trigger until he fired the first shot, piercing the skull of the first striker as she fell to the sides he then immediately switched his aim to the second striker and fired a burst of 3 bullets, hitting her in the torso and the throat.
He then noticed that the other two vespids were suddenly cut in half as they fell to the ground, Gager appeared next to them with her particle sword slowly retracting inside her weapon.
She straightened her clothes and sighed.
"Good job Gager, let's keep our profile low until a direct firefight is inevitable" yulil said while gesturing to architect and intruder to rally.
"It's a given that I'd fullfil your orders to the fullest ma- I mean commander" Gager replied while looking away, yulil decided not to pressure her since he had way more serious matter on his hands.
With their assassination complete the strike team moved towards the next checkpoint.
"I wonder where everyone is" yulil said, aiming his cm901 around, scanning the windows and alleyways.
"It's been 15 minutes since the last contact, maybe executioner is regrouping her troops" intruder replied as she crudely maneuvered her heavy minigun around
"Or perhaps we're the preys that have just walked inside her grasp" Gager added
"Get those kind of thoughts out of your head, paranoia isn't helping anyone" yulil sternly said as he gave her a sidelook.
Gager slowly looked away after they made eye contact.
Yulil sighed before he continued his speech "Just try to be optimistic okay? We're all alive and we haven't met any enemy since 15 minutes, everything is going good if you'd ask me"
"Well... I guess you're right, I apologize for being pessimistic" gager concluded, yulil gave her a nod and a smile.
After another uneventful 30 minutes "Her base is much bigger than I thought" yulil said, as they were all laying down in tall grass, pondering their next move.
Cut however by a voice coming through yulil's radio "Yulil! Yulil! Respond, please!" It sounded like ash.
"Ash? This is yulil, over"
"Thank god, it's been five minutes since I'm trying to reach you, Nerine is moving towards executioner's base, she already posted some sniping teams, please be careful around the city!" Ash told him
"Alright, thanks a lot for the intel ash, you can rally on me now" yulil said as the signal was cut, he took a deep breaths and looked at architect and gager.
"We got it yulil! We'll stop her in her tracks!" Architect cheerfully said
"I don't doubt it, though be careful, if it's anti material snipers then they can do some serious damage to you, gager please take care of her okay?"
"You've got it commander"
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean!"
"You're gonna wake up the whole god damn city, stop screaming!" Intruder said, as she reached her irritation point, scaring architect with her angry face
Yulil chuckled and gave architect a smile "I trust you architect, just be careful okay?"
Architect gave him a quick nod as she and gager got up, heading towards the route Nerine's convoy will take.
Yulil sighed and looked at intruder.
"Now it's just the two of us" she said with a smirk
"Just like old times, eh partner?" He replied as he handed her a closed fist.
"Just like old times." she said with a warm smile while fist bumping him.
"I'm at the front entrance, begin the festivities intruder" yulil said while turning the safety of his cm901 off.
"Gladly" intruder replied through the radio, her tone sounded like one of a cheerful murderer.
She jumped and got on top of the wall, she could clearly see the inside of the base as many sangvis Ferri tdolls patrolled around, unaware of the visit from the grim reaper, she smirked and switched her feet to have a good foothold, with a comfortable enough position intruder started spinning the barrels of the minigun, alerting the patrolling sangvis Ferri in the process but it was too late now.
"See y'all in hell!" She yelled before unleashing a hail of bullets at a speed of 3500 bullets per minute, cutting in half anything that got caught in its wrath.
She sprayed from left to right, the routed sangvis Ferri tdolls tried their best to take cover, unfortunately the punch of her minigun teared into the soft cover the enemy took part, and took big chunks out of the brick walls.
With intruder's surprise attack set in motion the guards at the front entrance went to reinforce the already dead sangvis tdolls fighting intruder, yulil took the opportunity as he sneaked inside and got inside of the complex.
As he entered the building he kept a tight grip on his rifle and aimed around with the help with the laser, clearing room after room as he advanced further.
He climbed the stairs while aiming upwards to avoid being caught by surprise, he then stumbled upon a much more reinforced door, he secured his surroundings before he examined the door.
The door immediately slid open as soon as yulil touched it.
And the contents inside were quite surprising Yulil slowly lowered his weapon and looked around, trophies and medals were on tables and inside of display cabinet, he slowly walked up to the display cabinet and Inspected them, it was HIS trophies and medals...
He quickly shook his head and looked around further more, he finally noticed a weapon inside of another display cabinet, he sighed when he noticed what kind of weapon it was, it was a Helix... Most importantly... HIS Helix

Yulil grabbed his helix and inspected it, for a gun that was more than 30 years old it was in a perfect condition, somebody must have took serious care of it.
The helix was a designated marksman rifle chambered in 6.8 Remington, made as a result of a collaborative work between Kriss and heckler & Koch, it was an extremely modular, reliable and effective weapon, finding it here was a giant surprise smashed straight into yulil's face, it was one of the few rifles that were produced, since the cost of producing a single rifle was far too expensive, it's recoil system was more complicated than needed, even though it significantly dampened the recoil of the rifle.
"Maybe executioner still has her memories intact" yulil muttered while slinging his helix.
He shook his head and decided to keep his mind focused, he exited the room quietly after raising his cm901.
The next room he stumbled into was a giant white room, nothing much was inside, he closed the door behind him while still hearing the loud sound of intruder's minigun spinning, albeit muffled by the multiple layers of walls.
He spinned around as he examined the empty room, he shook his head quickly and decided that it was useless to stay here, and so he started walking towards the door.
However he immediately ducked as a a wild gush of air passed by him, hitting the door and completely destroying it, leaving a giant open hole in its place.
Yulil quickly raised his weapon and turned behind him, it was the beginning of the battle.
"For a human to delve this far into sangvis Ferri territory, you're either extremely brave or infinitely stupid." Executioner said as she slowly lowered her sword that launched the ball of pressurised air.
"I'd be a millionaire if I'd be given a nickel for everytime I'd hear that" yulil said with a smirk.
Executioner chuckled and stabbed her sword into the floor.
She examined yulil from top to bottom before she noticed the helix.
Her face immediately twisted from the rage building up inside of her, she furrowed her eyebrows and grit her teeth.
"You have the audacity to sully his weapon with your filthy hands?!" Executioner yelled.
"Wait what?! Hold up for one second, it's me, yulil!" Yulil pleaded as he raised his hands.
"How dare you mention his name! You!... I'll kill you!" Executioner angrily replied before she vanished.
"God fucking damn it, it's never easy is it?!" Yulil asked out loud as he raised his weapon.
Executioner suddenly appeared in front of yulil as she went for a downward slash straight into his head.
Yulil was caught off guard but quickly threw himself backwards, he fell on his back as he started to crawl backwards while opening fire on executioner.
She easily blocked the 7.62 bullets that were travelling to her face with her giant metallic glove.
As she lowered her glove however, she was met with a flying flashbang that exploded centimetres away from her face, making her stagger and lose her senses.
Yulil took the opportunity as he threw his helix and backpack away, relieving the burden that was on him and also easing his movement.
As executioner recovered from the effects of the flashbang she raised her head and was met with a lateral kick in the guts, making her flinch and step back.
"You're... A real... Piece of work, heheh" executioner said while chuckling.
"Finally a worthy fight!" She added before she lunged at yulil with her giant sword.
Yulil ducked and evaded the sword as it smashed into the floor, he retaliated with kneeing her right in the stomach, executioner took the hit like a champion, she then yelled and lifted her sword that was stabbed in the floor, aiming for yulil's face, however he could see it from miles away as he evaded her sword's path and stepped back.
"Look! Just calm down, it's really me yulil!" Yulil yelled to executioner.
Executioner rested her sword on her shoulder and looked at the ground, her bangs covering her face as she grit her teeth, each mention of his name sounded like a blade pierced into her heart "Just shut up! He was killed by you! You vile humans killed your own brother! And for each drop of his blood! oceans of yours I'll spill!" She yelled back as she jumped in the air towards yulil.
Yulil quickly stepped back from her as she smashed into the floor, breaking it as both fell into the ground floor.
Yulil grunted and got himself up, the smoke was still thick in the air, blocking all visual information.
Yulil's pupils' were suddenly filled with yellow, almost like it was a failsafe system, activating in the case of an inevitable death, helping yulil dodge it.
He could now see through the heavy smoke, perceiving a blade coming straight towards his neck, and as such he crouched down, the blade cut the smoke on top of him, he then immediately shoulder bashed executioner, she staggered and stepped back, leaving herself exposed to a lateral kick, sending her a couple of meters away.
She grunted while picking herself up, she lunged at yulil and threw a combo of left and right slashes, he easily avoided the combo and counter attacked with pushing executioner against the wall, as her back hit the wall she smirked and took yulil's hands off of her, she then grabbed his throat with her free hand and lifted him up.
"Not... So... Smart... Now" she said between breathes.
"Funny for you... To say that... For someone that's... Right where I want her to be!" he could barely said while being chocked by executioner, he then raised his leg and kicked her, freeing him as he fell on the ground and shoving her against the wall
Immediately after her back touched the wall a hand punched through the wall beside executioner's head and started chocking her out, executioner flailed her arms and legs towards yulil while giving him a murderous look.
"I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you all for taking him away from me!" executioner yelled and did her best to struggle but intruder's grip on her was too strong, resulting in intruder knocking her out, intruder then let go of executioner as she fell flat on the ground
Yulil held his throat while he was sitting on the ground, grunting and coughing.
Intruder then smashed right through the wall.
"Oh~ yeah~" she cheerfully said while penetrating the wall.
"Thanks for the help" yulil said with a weak smile.
"You're more than welcome" she replied as she handed him a hand.
He gladly accepted it and got up.
"Good job, partner" intruder suddenly said as she presented an open hand to yulil, making him smile wholesomely
"Good job to you too, partner" he said, finishing with high fiving intruder.
"Executioner does remember me, yet she doesn't think yulil is me... Looks like the virus affected each of you differently" yulil said with raised eyebrows.
"God damn it, am I the only one who lost all of her memories?!" Intruder said angrily.
Yulil put his hand on her shoulder.
"It's okay, I'll work my hardest to get your memories back, how's that?"
Intruder sighed and eased her expression "I guess I can trust you" she replied with a smile.
"That's my girl, now... Let me get my weapon and backpack and we'll be off to the exfiltration point, I just hope Archy and gager aren't having any problems"
Intruder carried executioner on her back and the heavy sword in her hand, while yulil on the other hand was the pointman.
It wasn't needed however, seeing the massacre Intruder left outside, bodies were torn apart, limbs were scattered, walls were shot down, everything was completely in chaos.
Yulil could see a drone passing by the wall of executioner's base as it hovered towards yulil, and as he presumed, it was ash.
"Yulil! This is bad, architect and gager are caught and surrounded by Nerine's troops, the anti material snipers are pinning them down!" Ash yelled as she reached yulil
"Ugh... I knew this would happen" yulil said while handing Intruder the sword and slinging his helix around her.
"Before you ask, yes, I can make it to the exfiltration point by myself, you can focus on helping those two" intruder said with a smile.
"Thanks intruder, you're a godsent, good luck!, Ash, with me!" Yulil said before he started running.
"Good luck to you too" intruder softly muttered.
"What the hell happened on their end?!" Yulil asked, running alongside the hovering ash, their next objective to relieve and support gager and Architect.
"Architect and gager ambushed Nerine's convoy and destroyed their vehicles' engines, they fell back after that, but Nerine quickly surrounded them and blocked their escape routes with sniping teams and regular infantry"
"Shit, she's not someone to take lightly eh? What about the position of the sniping teams?!"
"I already scouted the position of the anti material team that is pinning them down! They're hiding inside of a 10 story apartment, on the 8th floor!" Ash said
"Okay, lead the way ash!" Yulil replied as both were doing their best to move as quickly as possible.
"It'd be really convenient if they'd stop jumping around" tac-50 said to her spotter, laying down, aiming her anti material sniper rifle through a hole in the wall.
"Uh-huh" her spotter replied, looking extremely nervous.
"You're the tdoll that the commander is taking care of right?"
"Y-yes, your commander is helping me finish my test"
"Well, looks like this is her way of testing you, don't disappoint her eh?" Tac50 concluded with a friendly smile.
"I'm sorry, but you'll have to disappoint her today"
Tac-50 and her spotter looked at each with wide eyes before they both looked behind them in unison
"You should've at least placed some noise traps, beginner's mistake, get the fuck up" yulil said, concealing his face with a balaclava he threw in his backpack if direct contact with Griffin troops must have been made, just like now.
Both tdolls slowly got up, held at gunpoint by yulil, as they moved towards the wall he threw some ropes at them.
"C'mon now, don't be shy, tie your friend" he said to the tdoll that was wearing a black trenchcoat
"It's okay, let's just play along for now" tac said under her breathe.
Her spotter nodded quickly as she gently tied tac's hands and feet.
After she was done yulil decided to interrogate them about the position of the other sniping teams, he needed their position so he could form an escape route for gager and architect, he decided to go for the one that looked the most green, the one wearing the trenchcoat.
He walked up to her and grabbed her by her collar, before he threw her behind him on the ground, he hated every second of it, but he needed information.
"You bastard, if you hurt you I'll turn your life into hell!" Tac50 said out loud.
Yulil then noticed a revolver on the ground where she was layed down, he didn't remember it's brand nor its name, he grabbed it from its barrel and tossed it in the air before grabbing it from its grip.
The tdoll on the ground looked nervous while tac looked like she wanted to kill yulil really badly.
He walked up to the tdoll on the ground and stood beside her.
"So..." He began with opening the cylinder and unloading the bullets into his palm "What's your name?" He asked, while putting one bullet inside and spinning the cylinder.
"Taurus...38" she softly said.
"Alright taurus, you look like a good girl, i like good girls you know? So how about you tell me where are the other sniping teams placed at?" Yulil replied
Taurus looked away as she bit her lower lip.
"Oh no no no... I'm afraid silence isn't an answer taurus..." He added with firing at taurus' head.
*Click*
Taurus looked with a shocked expression at yulil, she couldn't believe that she almost died.
tac did her best to free herself, albeit in vain.
"How can you do this?! You're a human for god's sake! Why are you even doing this you scum?!" Tac added.
"Looks like you're not dying on the first try... Good good, so how about you answer the question?" Yulil said, his eyes were the only thing Taurus could see, and she couldn't discern any emotion on his face.
*Click*
Taurus tightened her grip on her trenchcoat, she couldn't believe this was happening to her, everything seemed going to plan until a few seconds ago
"A one out of four chance to die now, you can just answer me and I'll let you and your friend go, I promise" Silence replied yulil, he sighed and continued pressuring her.
*Click*
Yulil clearly noticed taurus' body twitch as she heard the firing pin hit the empty chamber, it won't be empty for long and she knew it very well, but the thought of selling her friends weighted far too much...

"You're doing really well! But can you hold to a fifty percent chance now? I wouldn't put my bet in it to be honest"
Taurus looked away as her pale face slowly started reddening.
*Click*
"Time's up... You either speak or I'll put a hole through your head" yulil intimidatingly said.
Taurus couldn't sell her friends, tears slowly started dropping from her eyes as she broke into crying.
"Eh?" Was the only thing yulil could say.
"I'm sorry... Aiden... Please help me..." She said between sobs and sniffs.
"Wait! Taurus please don't cry! I was joking the gun's empty look!" Yulil said as he couldn't play the bad guy anymore, hurting an innocent tdoll who was just listening to orders was far too much for him to do, he opened the cylinder and showed it to taurus, And much to her surprise, he was right, no bullets were inside, it was all a bluff.
Tac-50 was just sitting there, dumbfounded at the scene, the once intimidating man who was interrogating her friend, now just looked like a worried father trying to comfort his daughter.
The door slowly opened, showing two tdolls, one was an acquaintance of yulil, holding an ots-14, the other wielded an AUG.
"Are you all oka-" ots-14 was saying before noticing the crying taurus and yulil crouching beside her.
Both immediately raised their barrels at him, he sighed and stood up.
He then reached for his weapon before getting gunned down by ots-14 and AUG, exploding in a million of blue digital particules, fading away in the air.
"Hologram..." Aug muttered as both advanced towards taurus who was in the middle of the room.
Suddenly however aug's magazine that was inside of her weapon fell down and the charging handle was pulled back all by itself, she then got kicked straight into the wall.
Ots-14 opened fire at the position aug was in hoping to hit whoever did it, to only get sweeped as she fell on the ground, her weapon floated in the air and was thrown outside the room alongside aug's
Yulil's cloak ran out as he appeared in front of them.
"Ah more Griffin, the more, the merrier!" He said with a smirk, pointing his cm901 with one hand at The disarmed duo.
Yulil ordered them to tie themselves up, they easily complied with his orders seeing as he was the one with the advantage now.
With that done he got up and sighed, tac, taurus, groza and aug all looked at him, predicting what kind of move he will make next.
"Ots-14! Aug! Reply damn it!" A female voice said through ots-14's radio, and by the reaction on their faces he deducted it was Nerine.
He picked up the radio and started listening to the chatter.
He smirked and layed down behind tac-50's weapon, and with enough time as he looked through the scope he noticed Nerine standing behind her humvee as she was caught in a firefight with some sangvis Ferri tdolls, architect and gager probably used those sangvis Ferri tdolls to diminish the attention on them.
Yulil took aim at Nerine's head, the eye he was looking with through the scope slowly started lighting up yellow.
His heart rate slowly started decreasing, 60...50...30...20
He had a window of 3 seconds between heartbeats to take the shot, more than enough.
He calculated windspeed, bulletdrop and took a deep breath
"Let's cool off your commander shall we?" *BANG* The shot of the anti material rifle echoed throughout the room, it was more of an explosion than a gunshot
The hostages's eyes slowly widened as they couldn't believe what just happened
"Nerine...No..." Taurus meekly said
"You... You bastard..." Ots-14 muttered, with a face filled with despair
Yulil confirmed his shot and smirked, he got up to his feet and straightened his clothes, the murderous intent beaming from the four tdolls was overwhelming.
"Four sangvis Ferri are climbing the stairs really quickly, probably heading here" ash softly said behind yulil, still fully invisible.
Yulil nodded and headed towards the door.
"I'll be leaving you all with your guests" he said with a sly smirk as he exited the room.
"This isn't happening... Please tell me this isn't happening" tac-50 softly said, waiting desperately for that irrational confirmation.
"No! I refuse to believe she died!" Taurus yelled in disbelief.
Aug and groza could only look at the ground, clenching their fists in wrath, they wanted yulil dead.
*Bang* The door of the room was knocked down as 4 vespids got inside the room
"God damn it..." Groza muttered under her Breath.
The vespids lined up like a firing squad in front of the tied tdolls No escape... No salvation... No justice... Not even a vengeance for Nerine... It wasn't fair to go out like this they thought.
All of them closed their eyes and prayed for something to desperately happen...someone to save them.
A knock could be heard behind the line of vespids, the sangvis Ferri tdolls looked behind them as they noticed it was a drone ramming itself multiple times against the window.
Taurus then suddenly heard the sound of something pumping twice outside the window above her.
"Lay down!" Taurus yelled as the crouched tdolls threw themselves on the ground.
Yulil was rappelling down the building, he jumped away from the building and fired a single breaching shell from his underbarrel shotgun into the window before rappel breaching through it, he fired his cm901 twice as he was still in the air, neutralising two vespids, he kicked the third tdolls in the chest, his momentum sent her flying as she hit the wall, only then did the fourth vespid started turning around, he then fell on the ground and kept rolling, while rolling he pulled his pistol from his leg holster, immediately after he stopped he fired a single shot between the eyes of the fourth vespid, after that he quickly switched his aim to the vespid he sent into the wall and fired a volley of four bullets, all hiting her chest.
"Fuck that was close! Oh man!" Yulil said, breathing deeply as he holstered his pistol and hugged his rifle while still on the ground.
His hostages couldn't be more confused from the series of events that just unfolded under their eyes.
Ash entered the room and started hovering above yulil.
"Thanks for baiting them" he said with a smile before getting himself on his feet.
"No worries! We really showed them!" Ash cheerfully said, being extremely happy she could physically prove her usefulness.
"Are y'all good?" He said as he rested his weapon against his shoulder, the muzzle pointed upwards.
The four tdolls nodded at different speed, groza and aug slowly nodded, still assessing the situation, while Taurus and tac nodded quickly, still shaken from the four seconds firefight that just happened.
"I'm glad..." He said while using his offhand to grab his backup knife from his lower back and tossing it in the lap of groza.
"I'll be off now... Take care of yourselves, and try calming down your commander next time, before she kills herself and her troops just because of a personal revenge" he said while standing up in front of the four tdolls
"What next time? You murdered her" Aug calmly said, he could clearly feel the anger in her words, albeit her efforts in masking her emotions.
Yulil and ash looked at each in confusion.
"Oh!" Yulil said as he punched his hand, realising the misunderstanding.
"I obviously didn't kill her, I only aimed beside her head to root some fear into her dense skull, I loved the reaction she had when the bullet passed by her head hahah" he said while laughing.
"What the hell are you doing! Tac-50! taurus! reply! I told you to take care of her tac!" Nerine's voice came from the radio that was on the ground.
"See, I told ya!" Yulil said with a smug face.
"Anyway I'll be leaving now, stay safe" he said while heading towards the door, waving one last time as his sleeve fell down, groza suddenly widened her eyes as she noticed the scars in his forearm.
"Commander yulil, it's you isn't it?" Groza said.
Yulil stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around, he noticed that groza had a weak smile on her face.
"Tsk... What gave it away?" Yulil replied.
"Your voice... And the pattern of the scars on your forearm" groza replied, she knew she wasn't in danger when she realised it was yulil
he looked at his arm and noticed the pulled up sleeve, he sighed and grabbed his balaclava from the lower end and pulled it until it reached his forehead.
"It's been a while, groza" yulil said with a smile, he also chuckled at the dumbfounded expressions the others had Plastered on their faces.
"Fufu, I knew it..." Groza replied.
"I'm sure you won't be able to lie to Nerine if she asks what happened, tell her everything I don't mind it, also tell her to not bother with executioner, she's family, and I don't play around with family" he added, giving them an intimidating expression that had no effect on the smiling ots-14.
"I'll be sure to relay your message to my commander, though you'll have to be careful, she'll certainly go on a yulil hunt once she finds out what happened, but I'll be sure to tell her how well you've taken care of me and welrod on that rescue mission"
"Cheers, I appreciate it groza, hopefully we'll meet in better conditions, but until then take care of yourself... Oh and taurus, if we ever meet again I promise to buy you something nice, sorry about making you cry" he said with a regretful face before leaving the four tdolls alone
Aug, tac and Taurus all looked at groza.
"You've got a lot of explaining to do" aug said.
"Heheh, it's a long story..."
"Yulil! This is architect! We've successfully escaped the blockade! Thanks for confusing their troops!" Architect's voice came out through yulil's radio
"Got it Archy, izuna is already on her way, I'll be there in 5 minutes" yulil said while running as fast as he could within the streets of the desolated city.
"No tdolls around us, neither sangvis ferri, nor Griffin" ash replied, back from her little scouting mission.
"Alrighty, let's keep up this pace and we'll reach the exfiltration point in no time" yulil added.
"It isn't a successful mission until we reach parabellum huh?" Ash replied with a smirk, hovering at the pace of yulil.
"You're damn right about that, let's not jinx ourselves now that we came this far"
Yulil could see izuna's helicopter flying towards him at maximum speed, he also could see the trio of ringleader at the landing zone, they waved at yulil when they noticed him.
"We did it!" Architect said as she ran towards yulil and hugged him, making the both of them spin twice.
"Hahah, I'm glad too" yulil replied as they let go of each others architect then pounced in the air as she grabbed ash.
"Not again!" Ash yelled, yulil and intruder chuckled at the scene.
Yulil then walked towards intruder, he noticed that executioner was still unconscious.
"She's still out cold eh? Well she is a heavy sleeper but damn this is just going overboard" yulil said with a nostalgia filled chuckle.
"I'm really glad nothing happened to you, you should be more careful you know?" Intruder replied.
"I know... I know, but who'll agree to do the stuff I do" he said while raising his hands.
Intruder chuckled as she covered her mouth with her hand.
"I'm glad you're self aware of how dangerously close to death you are"
"Oh I do, let's focus on going back home for now" he said as izuna's helicopter stabilized itself in the air and started descending.
Yulil and the rest embarked inside as izuna looked behind.
"A call for ya, from the commander herself" she said as she tossed a communicator towards him, before she took off.
"Hello commander Nerine, I hope you've been doing as well as I am on this fine day" yulil sarcastically said as Nerine's battle fatigued face came through the communicator
"Son of a bi-" she stopped herself midway before yulil could see her pinching the bridge of her nose, she raised her head and looked at yulil through the screen.
"Are you lost, commander yulil? This isn't your precious sector S05"
"You're right, but don't worry about it, we're all done here, you can have what's left" yulil said with a wink, it made Nerine look much angrier, something that yulil didn't think could happen.
"Look you bastard, you're in my sector! Either you listen to my orders or else..." Nerine threatened yulil.
Yulil chuckled at her threat.
"Surely you wouldn't stoop so low as to attack a fellow Griffin commander? I even spared your life and aimed beside your head" he replied with a wink and an annoying smile on his face
"That was you?! Ugh! I hope you've got some serious life insurance asshole!"
Yulil sighed, he was too mentally exhausted to humour her anymore.
"Yeah yeah, we'll leave now, I hope we can meet at the annual conference meeting though, I'd love to speak to you face to face, I'll even give you some free anger management classes, my treat, see ya" Yulil concluded as he cut the signal.
He slid down from his seat as intruder chuckled
His rest was however interrupted by the sound of the Helicopter's alarm going off.
"Fuck! We're being locked on!" Izuna said, yulil rushed and opened the sliding door.
"Keep the helicopter steady izuna! Forget about trying to evade it!" Yulil yelled
"okay! Whatever you're gonna do, do it well!" Izuna replied
Yulil picked up his helix and formed a hug with his hands, resting the barrel on his elbow, he focused his entire concentration on where the guided missile was being fired from, intruder grabbed her minigun and started spinning it in the same direction.
The missile launched, illuminating the darkness of the night as both yulil and intruder turned their attention towards it, intruder started firing towards the missile, in vain.
Yulil's heartbeat steadily decreased as it looked like the world around him slowly but surely, slowed down.
He fired a single well aimed shot, the bullet pierced the missile as it exploded in the air.
He slowly lowered his rifle and sighed deeply, the repeated usage of his secret trump card was taking a serious toll on him.
"Holy hell... You're amazing" intruder said, yulil gave her a smile while she put her minigun inside of the chopper,
He then closed the door and layed on the ground, too exhausted to even bother to sit on the empty seat
"Just wake up when we arrive back, I'm honestly too tired to move a single fiber of my body"
"Of course, you deserved it after all" someone said, was it gager? Ah it didn't matter to yulil right now, for now, he just wanted to sleep.
