As time wore on Arthur was stunned as he had received nine hundred thousand galleons so far. That was down to seven hundred thousand however as Harry had taken the two hundred thousand galleons as a bride price. Arthur had been so bowled over by the new money he'd moved himself, Molly and Ginny into the Leaky Cauldron whilst having extensive work done on the house. What he didn't tell them however was that it was being completely knocked. It had always been structurally unsound since they'd bought it over twenty years ago. It was however all they could afford at the time. It would be still be as tall as it had been before but it would look straighter for sure. The downstairs was being extended to a larger size. The kitchen and dining room was very large now and filled with Lord Black's new furniture. He had added a new kitchen to the mix as well.

On the first floor was his and Molly's room with en suite which now covered the whole of that floor excluding the stairs and hallway obviously. On the second floor was Fred and George's room and Percy's room. On the third floor was a room for either Charlie or Bill to use when they visited and Ginny's room along with a toilet. Lastly on the final and fourth floor was Ron's new bedroom. Each floor had its own bathroom so there would be no more fighting over the toilets in the mornings. When Molly had returned she had gasped at it all.

"Oh Arthur darling I never imagined it could ever look this good. And thanks to Lord Black too for the new furniture. Do you think you could talk to Lord Black about Ginny? I want to see if he thinks his brother would accept her as Lady Potter!" she said as he told her he was flooing to see Lord Black about something else anyway and would ask him while there. He flooed to the same office he'd met him in a while back and was greeted by a smiling Lord Black.

"Good afternoon Lord Black. I wanted to let you know that the modifications to my home went off without a hitch and to thank you for your recommendation of the firm we used. They were very fast and it was all done properly within two weeks. I actually have a question for you in relation to your brother on behalf of my wife. Do you mind?" he asked as Harry smiled.

"Well Arthur we'll be family soon enough so just call me Harry when we're together either like this or with your family. You can call me Lord Black publicly ok. You can ask me anything you like about Jim although I am not sure I'll have the answer!" he said taking a sip of his tea.

"Well you see Molly wants our Ginny to petition for his hand in marriage!" he said shocked as Harry spit out his roasting hot tea and coughed violently. He waved his wand silently cleaning up the mess at once.

"Oh dear me I do apologise. No I can safely say Jim will never be free to take on your daughter as he bats for the other team" he said as Arthur frowned.

"What team? I didn't know he was that into sports!" he said in awe. Harry pinched the bridge of his nose in mild frustration. Why could people never understand or get the damn innuendo.

"Arthur he's gay! He may think he can hide it well from me but he cannot. Through our twin bond I do sometimes get flashes of his thoughts and they are amusing to say the least. If he had it his way it would be funny indeed" he said irritably as Arthur looked stunned for a moment and then laughed really loudly.

"Oh this is too much. Wait till Molly hears this! I don't wish to be insensitive but Molly would probably kill me if I didn't at least ask if you'd be interested in our daughter Ginevra" he said as Harry swallowed his tea and thought for a moment.

"To be honest Arthur I have my eyes on someone else. I like to make a statement in everything I do. I also like a good actress or at least someone that thinks they are. For now I am allowing her to believe she is a good actress. I will get to know her and then see what happens. I might not end up liking her at all after that. Please provide me with a photo of your daughter and I will keep her in mind if my own other connection falls short which it truly could!" he said as Arthur removed a photo of her from his jacket pocket which was copied and then handed back. He was delighted to get it back in all honesty.

Harry looked at it in surprise. She was rather pretty. He had thought that even if he didn't end up with her he could still find her someone. He was currently eyeing up Daphne Greengrass who was doing a good job of making everyone in her house think she was the ice queen of Slytherin. Most people outside the house thought like that too but he didn't. He didn't buy it.

By now Ron, Fred, George and Percy all had their own wands, uniforms, trunks, books and pets. Percy had chosen a beautiful black cat named shadow; Fred and George had each chosen variants of screech owl which they named Remus and Romulus as they thought it would be funny. Ron lastly had chosen a black eagle owl. It was beautiful. He had named it midnight.

"Arthur promise me to tell your daughter of Ronald and how he is not a Gryffindor. I want her to feel she can be in any house even Slytherin. My so called father was an arsehole to me about what houses I could or could not be in, in his opinion. He threatened to disown me if I was in Slytherin but said that when Jim was sorted there he would be able to make that house cool and current. I chose Ravenclaw even though I should have gone to Slytherin because no one would expect a snake in the aviary. Don't be like James sir!" he said seriously as Arthur gasped.

"Harry would you mind if I showed Molly a memory of this conversation in our new family pensive I purchased the other day? I really do feel she will need to see it to believe it! To be honest as parents we have often not made our opinions clear by not voicing them and we can now see that's wrong indeed. Ronald thought we'd disown him for being gay and in another house to boot. That was like a virtual slap in the face to us" he said as Harry thought about what he was saying intensely.

"You see that's the problem most adults have today. They are never willing to say they are wrong even by the fact that they don't voice their opinions. Thank you Arthur I needed to hear that myself on some level. It was very mature of you and I admire the kind of courage it takes to say that. Most parents will say they don't want their own opinions to influence their kids however when they never voice those opinions their kids form their own ones in their heads which is nearly always wrong. From what Jim says Ronald was utterly stunned you didn't care that he was not in Gryffindor because all of the kids previously had been" he said as Arthur gasped at hearing that.

"You know you are right and thank you for saying that. I never realised how badly us not voicing our opinions was on our children. I will be asking my other children about this over Christmas and I think we may discover that they were meant to be in other houses but asked for Gryffindor as they thought we might not like it. I do admit I don't like the thought of any of my children doing this. I will definitely speak to Ginevra about the house she goes into!" he promised as he prepared to leave once again. Harry frowned as he could feel his brothers' anger and rage at finding none other then Daphne Greengrass snogging Draco Malfoy. This was something he really didn't want to have to deal with right now.

Elsewhere Dudley screamed his head off as Vernon let out some garbled curse words about wishing his good for nothing nephew was dead whilst clutching at his chest and falling to the floor dead. He had, had a massive myocardial infarction or heart attack in other words. Vernon had always been exceptionally overweight and hearing that Petunia was now pregnant and very happy had sent him on a downward spiral. Dudley was only twelve but was terrified when he had to ring the police.

"Police what is your emergency?"

"Hello my name is Dudley Dursley and my dad just collapsed on the floor while I was visiting him. He isn't breathing. I didn't know who else to call!" he said holding the house phone to his face and shivering in fear and delayed shock.

"We have been able to get your address from tracing the phone call. I have an ambulance on the way to your address now. Where is your mother son?" he asked as Dudley remembered he was on the phone.

"Thank you. They're divorced mum and dad and she was due to pick me up here in an hour. I don't know what to do. My dad wasn't a good man and said some horrible things before he died. He wished his nephew would die. I'm so sorry sir!" he said nervously as he burst into tears crying uncontrollably as they helpless emergency service worker listened intently.

Petunia's mind had been all muddled since becoming pregnant and she often forgot things now. She had no idea if she was meant to pick up Dudley now or in one hour so she came over now in case she was wrong. What she saw when she got there made her scream. There was an ambulance outside and the emergency services were rushing inside. She screamed and ran from the barely parked car towards the house.

"Excuse me ma'am you can't go in there" the emergency care worker said seriously.

"My son is in there. Is he alright? Is he hurt?"

"Are you the mother of Dudley Vernon Dursley?" he asked as she nodded her face paling.

"Well we are sorry to report ma'am that while your son is fine your ex husband has died. He died of a myocardial infarction or in layman's terms a heart attack. Your son unfortunately witnessed it. He is rather disturbed ma'am as it would seem before he died your ex husband mentioned something about wanting a nephew of his to be dead already. This is what your son was able to tell us. Please wait here he is being escorted out now!" he said as tears slid down her face. This was not the way she saw her day ending.
