Peter and Shuri were the first ones to arrive in the garage – aside from Tony and Pepper, that was. The door to the garage was open and the limo was parked right outside with the trunk open and waiting. Happy wasn't anywhere to be seen, but Peter knew he was around – somewhere. The limo was the best choice to drive all his classmates around, since they could all fit in the same vehicle, that way.

Tony and Pepper were leaning against the hood of Peter's car, talking, but they noticed the two teens, immediately, and both smiled as the two walked over to them. Right up until they saw Peter's swollen bottom lip, and the cut that was marring it.

"What happened to you?" Pepper asked, frowning as she reached for Peter's chin to hold his head still to give her a better look.

Tony smirked. He'd noticed the wound, of course, but Peter wasn't looking distressed, and looked much calmer than he had that morning, so he wasn't too concerned.

"Let me guess…" he said. "You tried to kiss Shuri, again, and she punched you in the mouth?"

Peter rolled his eyes, but Shuri actually laughed.

"Natasha beat me up," Peter replied.

"Did you try to kiss her?" Tony asked.

"She was making a point," the boy told him.

"Is everything alright with you two?" Pepper asked, taking advantage of the fact that they had them alone for the moment.

Peter nodded, blushing, slightly, when Shuri took his hand.

"Yeah. We're good."

"And it's official?" Tony asked. "You're a couple?"

Peter looked at Shuri, and then nodded when she did.

"Yeah."

Tony smirked, but he surprised the teens when he looked at Pepper.

"Who had today's date?"

"I'll have to check. I think Natasha. But it might have been Ramonda."

"I do not understand," Shuri said, confused.

Peter frowned, though.

"You guys had a poll going?"

Tony set his expression at the most innocent look he had.

"Maybe."

"I still do not understand," Shuri admitted.

"They had a poll," Peter said, uncertain if he should be amused or annoyed that people around him were betting on something so personal – although he knew that he shouldn't be surprised, since they enjoyed making those little wagers when they could. He already knew that they enjoyed him being the focal point of them, many times. "To see what time and date… what?" he asked. "That we started dating? Or first kissed?"

"Both," Pepper said, her eyes lit up with amusement – and cheer. "The kissing one is separate from the officially became a couple one."

"And there is the one about who asked whom, and we have another one saying location of first kiss," Tony told them. "So… last night? Was that officially the first kiss? Or is there another one we don't know about?"

"A lady does not tell," Shuri said, primly – although she looked amused, and relieved.

"And a gentleman doesn't ask," Peter reminded Tony, throwing his words from the morning back at him.

Stark groaned, dramatically.

"Come on, guys," he complained. "I have a hundred dollars on that one, alone."

"Who else was in on this thing?" Peter asked, curiously.

He was beginning to feel more than a little relieved, himself. If the others – and Ramonda had been mentioned – were betting on dates and locations, then they obviously weren't against the notion of him and Shuri being a couple.

"A gentleman doesn't ask," Tony said.

Pepper rolled her eyes.

"Me, your father, your mother and brother," she added, looking at Shuri. "Okoye, Natasha, Steve, Clint, Stephen, Happy, and if I remember correctly, Wong."

"Okoye?" Shuri echoed. "Truly?"

"She was the one who brought up the possibility in the first place," Tony confirmed.

"Now I understand why you weren't as upset as I thought you'd be," Peter said.

"We're none of us against the idea of the two of you being an item," Pepper told them. "As long as it doesn't go too far, too quickly," she added, seriously. "We are not ready for grandchildren. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yeah."

Shuri nodded, as well.

"Of course not. My mother would kill me."

"Good. We-"

There was a new motion at the entrance, announcing the arrival of some of the classmates. All were chatting, cheerfully, and from the motions that Abe was making with his hands, at least one of the conversations was about the sparring, earlier.

"Is this relationship a secret one?" Tony asked, pointedly.

Peter looked at Shuri, but before she could say anything, he shook his head.

"No." It wouldn't be fair to her to keep it a secret, and he already knew that she had no qualms about other people knowing. "We're not going to bandy it about, but…" he shrugged.

"Good answer," Pepper said, approvingly.

"Hey, kids," Tony said, greeting the others now that they were close enough to not have to yell at them. "Got everything? If it stays here, we're going to sell it to raise money for my pig's new sweater."

That was met with laughter, and the teens began loading their bags into the trunk of the limo. Ned and MJ arrived, together, and Ned tossed their bags in, as well.

"Can Peter drive us up to the restaurant?" Ned asked Tony, hopefully, gesturing to himself, Shuri and MJ.

Not that riding in a limo wasn't awesome, but a mini road trip would be even better.

Tony hesitated, looking at Natasha and Stephen who appeared almost as if they'd been summoned.

"Natasha?"

His way of asking what kind of threat level they were at with Shuri, especially.

Romanoff looked at the Wakandan guard, who walked over, and as they discussed it, quietly, Strange walked over to Peter and took his chin to get a look at the boy's mouth.

"Natasha did that?"

"Popped him right in the face," Ned confirmed, grinning, and demonstrating the blow that the assassin had used. "Knocked him on his back."

"I got distracted," Peter said, rolling his eyes at Shuri.

Both because she'd been the distraction, and because Stephen was doing exactly as he'd anticipated.

"You iced it?"

"Yes."

"It doesn't look too bad."

Peter healed quickly; they all knew that.

"Yeah, I feel okay."

Before he could say anything else, though, Natasha's conversation broke up and she waited until she had Peter's attention – since he was the one that would be driving.

"T'Challa's good with you driving there," she told him – and Shuri. "Just to the restaurant, though. And stay within sight of me."

She was going to drive her Corvette, so she'd be easy to spot, anyway.

Peter nodded, looking at Shuri.

"You want to ride with me?" he asked her. "Or with Tony and the others?"

"Oh," Stark rolled his eyes. "Like she's going to choose me over riding with her boyfriend in his hot rod muscle car…"

Shuri smiled at that, but Peter found himself the subject of several surprised stares. Leave it to Tony to stir that pot as soon as it began brimming. He grinned, blushing, slightly, but then he shrugged and took Shuri's hand in his and saw Flash's eyes widen in shock when he did. Or maybe when Shuri smiled, too, rather than pulling her hand from his.

"It is a very nice car," the princess pointed out.

"Sweet!"

Ned slapped Peter on the back, but the boy wasn't sure if he was commenting on the newly announced relationship, or the fact that they got to go to the restaurant in Peter's Pontiac.

"Everyone in the car," Tony said to the other kids, gesturing for them to get moving.

He held still, though, as the teens all headed for the limo, talking softly – no doubt about Peter and Shuri.

"What do we have for time, date and location?" Stephen asked, curiously.

"We'll sort it out, later," Pepper told him. "I'm hungry."

Natasha smirked, and that made Peter shake his head as he walked over to open the passenger door for Shuri and MJ. She probably already knew time, date and location – and had probably guessed them all spot on.

She was pretty good at that, really.
