"Your lucky school has been moved until next week," Jason says as he enters her room, sitting down on her bed.

"Hmm, it's not my fault the pipes in the gym weren't as fixed as they thought it would be," Dixie laughed as she got up from her bed to grab the two controllers on the tv stand, tossing one to her older brother. "Plus don't tell me you weren't happy about having a pause from studying."

"Oh hardly," Jason said, rolling his eyes. "Mrs. Roberts would just take that as an excuse to double our homework over this break. You're lucky you that you didn't get her this year, hell, even Tim doesn't like her! Tim!"

Dixie laughs at her older brother's complaints as she starts up the game, sitting down on her bed beside him.

"I'm sorry by the way," Jason says as her character posses after her win. "I was the one who told the others about Adrian."

Dixie glances over at her brother to see him still focused on the television, with him fiddling with the controllers. Smiling at his nervousness, Dixie glances back on the screen before replying. "It's fine, I should honestly be used to it by now but we're all growing up, let me breathe more okay?"

Jason chuckles at this. "No promises," he says shaking his head as he chuckled.

"Besides, I'm also at fault," Dixie says. "I mean, I purposely made Damian mad to piss him off."

Jason laughs along with her before. "Yeah, you're definitely my sister," he chuckles before turning to face her. "How's your boyfriend by the way? Did he know about Adrian?"

Dixie rolls her eyes at her brother, "I don't know who you're talking about."

Jason hums, smiling coyly at her. "Fine, how's Kid by the way?"

"He's fine," she answers. "Though not really having the best time with Artemis joining the team."

"How is she by the way? Did she do anything off?" Jason says, sitting straight at the mention of the daughter of an assassin.

"Well besides her constantly bickering with Wally and thinking she was supposed to kill him after having her memories wiped, she hasn't done anything to garner suspicion," Dixie says, lowering her controller, feeling a bit sullen about the possibility of the green archer turning against them. "She's good, I don't see why she would betray the team or the League."

Jason hums at this, deep in thought before smiling to her. "So you're jealous of her gaining too much of KF's attention?"

Dixie quickly grabbed a pillow before throwing it at her brother's face who only continued to laugh harder.

Walking down to the Batcave, she sees her father staring at the screen in front of him with Damian and Tim, both in their hero uniforms getting on their bikes before waving at her and driving off.

"What happened?" Dixie asks as she approached her father. "First you leave early in lunch than Damian and Tim are suddenly busy for the rest of the afternoon?"

"I got a call last night from Green Arrow," Bruce says, rubbing his face in exhaustion. "He and Artemis were doing their routine training patrol when they ran into a break-in."

Dixie raised an eyebrow at this, confused. "And what does that have to do with what happened earlier and to Dami and Tim?"

Bruce sighs, turning to the computer once more, bringing up a picture of a dagger. "The break-in was at a museum and they managed to steal this dagger."

"A snake designed dagger?" Dixie says looking at the picture.

"It's a priceless ancient Cobra dagger," Batman corrects. "That was the only thing stolen, nothing else."

Dixie frowns at this, looking at the dagger more closely. "Is that why Dami and Tim went out? To find out about the dagger?"

"Yes and why we should go out on patrol soon, we don't know where the thieves would strike next," Bruce said getting up from his chair, walking over to grab his suit.

Dixie nods going to the locker room to change. Neatly folding her clothes and placing them on the bench, she made sure that her shoes were all tied up and that the zippers of her outfit were all secured. Grabbing her utility belt and mask, she quickly placed them on before making sure her hair was unruly enough so that others can't recognize it when it was neat when she was Dixie.

Walking out of the locker room, she sees Jason walking down the stairs holding her phone by his ear.

"Why do you have my phone and who are you talking to?" the thirteen-year-old asked marching her way to her immediate older brother and snatched her phone back.

"Sheesh, not my fault you left it upstairs," Jason said waving a hand in the air before walking over to lay down by the couch. "Besides, your boyfriend was calling, gotta give him the talk you know?"

Dixie rolled her eyes before checking the phone, finding out that Wally was the one on the phone. "You're one year older than him Jay," she says exasperatedly before answering the phone. "Hey Walls, sorry about Jay."

"It's no biggie," the speedster replied though he sounded a bit off to her. "Had something to tell you."

"Hmm, can it wait? I kinda have to go out on patrol soon," she says slapping her snickering brother before walking up to their father who was off typing yet again while he waited for her.

"Well, that's the thing," Wally said, the tone from earlier now gone. "While Uncle Barry and I were out on patrol earlier, we received a call from the police that the animals in Central City Zoo were all released."

Dixie hummed, making the speedster on speaker for her father and brother to hear as well. Bruce instantly brought up another page and started researching as Jason stood up from the couch, walking over to find out more.

"And what's wrong with that to the point you needed to tell me about it?" Dixie asked as she read through the news article talking about it.

"Well yeah, it was nothing too big but when rounding up the animals, we found out that the whole thing was just a diversion. Half a dozen of concentrated cobra venom was stolen," the speedster said. "Do you think that it could be something related to Green Arrow's and Artemis' patrol yesterday?"

Dixie turned off the speaker, walking away from her brother and father who was looking over the news Wally just told them. "I think so, Dami and Timmy just went out today to scout the museum where the dagger was stolen. It's no coincidence that whoever is stealing these things are stealing cobra related things. How'd you know that by the way?"

"I may have overheard Uncle Barry talking about with the cops," Wally said, and even though the phone, Dixie could tell that her best friend was smiling smugly.

She looked back at her family to see Bruce and Jason talking to one another before Jason nods running over to the locker room. "Well Red Hood is on his way there, maybe he can help figure out who the thief or thieves were."

Wally hummed before answering. "I'll tell my uncle, he's probably still there talking with the cops."

"Okay, I'll call you when we find anything."

"Thanks, I just hope that whatever this is, it won't mess up with my schedule, I still have so many homework to be done!"

Dixie chuckled, knowing full well that the redhead was trying to lighten the mood. "Well good luck with that, talk to you tomorrow."

"M'kay, bye," the redhead said before ending the call.

"'Talk to you tomorrow'" Jason said dreamily before bursting out laughing as he rushed out of the locker room wearing his uniform.

Dixie blew a raspberry at him as her brother laughed as he waved her goodbye before getting on his motorcycle now on his way to Central Park Zoo.
