He opened the apartment door and saw Judy sitting with the kits on the couch.
"Are You ok?"
Judy nodded.
"Yes of course what's wrong? Why are you home?"
Nick closed the door as his breath picked up.
"Everyone at the office is gone and Malcom got out of jail"
Judy's eyes widened.
"What?!"
Nick nodded.
"I have a feeling this is his first stop, we have to go Judy"
Judy looked at the kits.
"Nick where are we going to go?"
Nick sighed.
"My mom's"
Judy nodded.
"We've gotta go now"
Nick nodded as he walked to the bedroom and threw some clothes into a bag, he picked up Wyatt and they grabbed their valuables, they got in the car and left.
"Call my mom"
Judy gave Nick a look of shock.
"What? She doesn't know we're coming?"
Nick rolled his eyes.
"I've kind of been busy running for my life!"
Judy grabbed Nick's phone and dialed Maya, she picked up almost immediately.
"Hello"
Judy responded.
"Hi Ms. Wilde, it's Judy, there's been a bit of a problem at home and we need to know if we could stay with you for awhile"
Maya chuckled.
"No need to ask, just come, you're always welcome here"
Judy let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank you so much! We're on our way now"

Judy put Nick's phone on the center console as she looked at him.
"Sorry I got frustrated Carrots"
Judy smiled.
"No, I understand, we're literally running for our lives"
Nick nodded.
"Yeah, I'm also just really worried about everyone, the whole office was gone when I got back"
Judy thought about it for a second.
"If there was a break in they would have left, we told them if anyone ever broke into the office to just leave"
Nick shrugged.
"I don't know, the office looked fine, besides the whole everyone missing thing.
"Judy looked out the window"
They'll be ok I promise"
Nick sighed.
"How do you know?"
Judy turned to him and smiled.
"It's a funny thing called hope"
Nick gave a side smile.
"How are you doing? Is everything good in that head of yours?"
Judy sighed.
"It's alright , just missing my dad"
Nick nodded.
"I understand, it can be hard"
Judy nodded.
"It is"
They came to a stop in front of a brown cozy looking house.
"We're here"
Nick got their stuff out of the car and Judy grabbed the kits, a friendly face came out from the house.
"Hello you guys! Is everything going ok?"
Nick sighed.
"There's a lot to talk about"
They walked into the house and dropped everything in the spare bedroom, after explaining everything to Maya she understood.
"Well you two can stay as long as you want"
They smiled at Maya.
"Thank you"
Maya nodded.
"Of course"
Maya gave a smile.
"Now, let's talk about you guys"
They chuckled and knew Exactly what to say.
