Chapter 31: Weird Feelings

One month after Cooler had come to Earth, and nine months after Namek, we see Gohan walking across the yard of Capsule Corp.

A lot had been on his mind lately. Despite only being seven, he was dealing with some emotions that confused him.

Whenever Gohan was around Videl and Erasa, he felt some sort of thumping in his chest. And after hearing that Chi Cha and Dende had become boyfriend and girlfriend, despite how young they were, Gohan needed to discuss his feelings with someone.

He felt a little awkward, speaking to his mom or Grandma Panchy about this, so he decided to talk to Gine about it.

Gohan entered the nearby building, looking for the training room that Dr. Briefs and Bulma had set up for Raditz, Gine and Goku, for when he came back. Even Vegeta was allowed to use it if he finally came back from space himself.

Gohan saw his grandma training at that moment, wearing a sports bra and shorts. She was doing push ups, making sure to exercise her arms.

Gohan stayed back to let her finish her exercise.

After a few more minutes, Gine finally finished, and as she took a swig from her water bottle, she noticed Gohan standing there.

Gine, "Gohan, what're you doing here?"

Gohan, "I, uh, wanted to talk to you about something."

Gine, "well, alright. Give me a second."

Gine grabbed a towel and wiped her brow. She walked over to Gohan, and the two of them walked down the hall until they entered Gine's room, which was modest in appearance. Her armor was nearby, sitting on a chair.

Gine sat down on the bed, and patted the space next to her. Gohan sat next to his grandma.

Gine, "now, what do you need to talk about?"

Gohan, "well…. I've been feeling some strange emotions recently."

Gine, "what kind of emotions?"

Gohan, "I-I feel strange whenever I'm around my friends. Videl and Erasa."

Gine, "strange how?"

Gohan, "well…. For a while now, I've had a reoccurring dream. I'm walking hand in hand with two girls. All of us are much older. At first, I could only vaguely make out their faces. Short black hair, and short blonde hair. Only recently was I able to make out their faces finally."

Gine, "and, who are they?"

Gohan, "Erasa and Videl."

Gine, "oh? Oh! I get it now."

Gohan, "huh?"

Gine, "you've been having strange feelings for two girls, and have dreams about a future with them? Gohan, you're in love!"

Gohan, "what?!"

Gine, "think about it. Raditz had dreams about Maron, Chi Cha dreamed about meeting Dende, and now you're dreaming about two girls you care about very deeply about. You seem to be dreaming about the future you'll have with these women."

Gohan, "but, I thought a relationship was only between two people? A man and a woman, or a man and a man, or a woman and a woman?"

Gine, "that's how most relationships work, but some people are able to make a relationship with three people work."

Gohan, "b-but aren't I too young?"

Gine, "Dende and Chi Cha are together, and they're the same age as you. Your parents met at a very young age. And, can I tell you a secret?"

Gohan, "what?"

Gine, "when I was around your age, your grandfather Bardock and I were childhood sweet-hearts. We met at that age, and our first meeting involved him tripping me."

Gohan, "he tripped you?"

Gine, "yep. And then I decked him in the nose."

Gohan, "ouch."

Gine, "yep. After that, we both apologized. He gave me a note that said sorry, and I kissed him on the nose. After that, we kept spending time with one another, and started to date once we became teenagers. And that love we had led to your father and uncle. So, trust me when I say this Gohan, when you find true love, you'll know it for sure. And honey, you've found love."

Gohan, "b-but, what if they don't feel the same way? Or if they don't want that type of relationship with me?"

Gine, "well, you'll never know if you don't try. It's like a leap of faith."

Gohan was silent for a moment before asking, "how would I bring it up?"

Gine, "well, maybe set up a place to meet? Maybe bring some food for them, like a picnic? I understand that tripping them isn't how most Earthlings want to begin a relationship with one another."

Gohan, "and you think that'll work?"

Gine, "again, you'll never know if you don't try."

After a few moments of thinking, Gohan smiled and kissed his grandma on the cheek, "thanks Grandma!"

Gohan ran off; leaving a smiling Gine in the room….

….

Videl and Erasa had just been dropped off outside of Capsule Corp. Gohan had had Bulma call Videl's dad, and Erasa's mom to ask if they could come over.

The two said goodbye to their parents, and proceeded to enter the large yard.

Gohan said he wanted to meet them for something important to talk about.

When they found him, both looked on in shock.

Gohan had set up a small picnic, and had a huge basket of flowers for them.

Videl, "uh, Gohan?"

Gohan, "h-hi girls."

Erasa, "what's…. All of this about?"

Gohan, "it's, uh, something I need to talk about. I figure I'd treat you guys to something to eat."

Videl, "well who are we to say no?"

And so, the girls sat down on the picnic blanket, as Gohan handed them some juice boxes and sandwiches.

For a few minutes, they just ate in comfortable silence. Once they finished, Videl was the one to ask, "Gohan, you said there was something important you wanted to talk about?"

Gohan took a deep breath, deciding to just rip the band-aid off.

Gohan, "have…. Have you guys ever had a dream you felt was telling you something?"

Erasa, "what do you mean?"

Gohan, "like, you see something that will be important in your life later on?"

Videl, "sorta. I once had a dream where I climbed out of a hole all wet, and the next day, I fell into a koi pond."

Gohan, "well, I've been having a reoccurring dream."

Erasa, "what happens in it?"

Gohan, "well, I'm older. Like, a young man. I'm walking through a field. And I'm holding hands."

Videl, "you're holding hands with someone?"

Gohan, "I'm holding hands with two people."

Erasa, "two?"

Gohan, "yeah. At first, I could only make out certain details out of them. Both were young women. Around my age."

Videl, "two women? Like, were you being romantic with them?"

Gohan, "yes. We would hug, or dance, or even kiss."

Erasa, "two women?"

Gohan, "two. I could make out their hair. Black and blonde."

Videl, "that…. That sounds familiar."

Gohan, "well…. A while ago, I started to make out who I was with."

Erasa, "we're they…?"

Gohan, "... They were you two."

Silence for a moment.

Videl, "you…. You've been dreaming about being with us?"

Erasa, "romantically?"

Gohan, "yeah. It was like I was seeing our future together. And I was always afraid to tell you guys. I was afraid it would ruin our friendship, or you wouldn't believe me about it. My grandma Gine convinced me to tell you both about it."

Videl, "... Gohan?"

Gohan, "y-yeah?"

Videl kissed Gohan's cheek!

Gohan was stunned as Videl said, "I always thought you were cute. Ever since we met you."

Erasa quickly kissed Gohan's cheek and said, "same here."

Gohan, "y-you mean you aren't mad?"

Erasa, "well, me and Videl actually had a bet."

Gohan, "what bet?"

Videl, "it was childish, but we bet five dollars each on who you would choose you liked."

Erasa, "and we said if you chose us both, we'd promise to share you."

Gohan, "b-but don't you think it's weird? Us three, at our age, falling in love?"

Videl, "didn't Chi Cha get a boyfriend?"

Gohan, "well, yeah, but -"

Erasa, "and didn't she and your uncle have dreams about their true loves?"

Gohan, "w-well-"

Videl, "and if none of us have a problem with sharing each other, I don't see why not."

Erasa, "and once we're adults, things will only get better!"

Gohan, "I-I can't believe all of this!"

Videl, "I know something that will!"

Videl and Erasa both tackle hugged Gohan to the ground, hugging him lovingly.

Gohan couldn't help the dumb smile on his face as he realized; he had found love.

….

Little did the kids know that Bulma, Gine, Panchy, Tights and Dr. Briefs were all watching the display with utter joy.

At that very moment as well, Krillin was walking into Capsule Corp with Yamcha and Chi Chi. Chi Cha and Dende were off at Tien and Launch's house. They two smiled at the display of affection.

….

Meanwhile

We see Maron snuggling into a blanket on her couch.

Which was several feet in the air, being lifted by Raditz as he swept the living room. With his fiance being pregnant, he wanted to do as much as he could around the apartment he found himself staying at most of the time, if not all of the time.

The wedding was gonna be small, with all of their friend's there at Capsule Corp.

And it was in two months.

Raditz and Maron had planned a lot of it already, but wanted to take it easy for now.

Except for whenever Raditz was training his mother to become a Super Saiyan like him and Goku.

He soon placed the couch back down as he kissed the bluenette on her forehead as she slept.

As Raditz continued to clean, his eyes drifted to the woman's big stomach.

As Raditz gazed at it, he began wondering many things.

How did he get so lucky?

Would it be a boy or a girl?

Who was this little one going to be?

Could Raditz be a good father and husband?

But as he heard Maron give a soft yawn in her sleep, did those questions suddenly not matter.

He was just lucky to have all of this.

….

Back at Capsule Corp, a few hours later, we see Tights writing in a small journal. She was trying to write ideas for her next book. She had many different ideas. And action adventure. A sci-fi thriller. A fantasy epic.

But one thing kept popping up in each and every single one of her ideas.

A strong but shorter man with spiky hair that was tough, but had a hidden soft side.

Yep, Tights couldn't get Vegeta out of her head! Ever since she had seen the Saiyan Prince, something stirred within her. There was a physical attraction, sure, but something else was hidden within the sea of emotions.

If she could just see the Saiyan again, she might be able to figure it out.

Just then, Krillin and Yamcha had walked up to her, and noticed something in the sky.

Krillin, "what the heck is that?"

All three of them looked up, and saw the large spherical object heading towards them at high speeds.

Yamcha, "I suggest we move!"

All three of them ran and hit the deck as the ship Dr. Briefs had built, landed in the ground, sending up some dirt.

They all sat there, looking at the ship for a moment before they heard a familiar voice yell, "I'M BACK BITCHES!"

Vegeta leapt out of the ship, his armor covered in scratches, scorch marks and a few small holes. He looked slightly more muscular than he did when he left.

Vegeta walked over to the others. As he got closer, they others cringed, as he smelled like death.

Krillin, "man, that's ripe."

Yamcha, "you can kinda feel it in your eyes."

Tights, "jeez, when was the last time you showered?"

Vegeta, "uh, what month is it?"

Rights immediately grabbed the Saiyan, and started dragging him to the house.

Vegeta, "what the Hell are you doing?!"

Tights, "you can go ahead and kill me after you get a damned shower, Monkey Boy."

Vegeta, "I'm the Prince of the Saiyans you blonde banshee!"

Tights, "since your father died, doesn't that make you a king?"

Vegeta paused for a moment, "never in my life have I ever needed to hear something; and not known it."

Tights, "whatever. If you're a king, try to smell like one?!"

Vegeta, "jeez, fine, but I'm not gonna be happy about it."

As Tights dragged Vegeta inside, Krillin and Yamcha were left in a confused stupor.

Yamcha, "did…. Did Tights just boss around the gut who nearly killed all of us close to s year ago?"

Krillin, "I stopped questioning the insanity of our lives years ago Yamcha."

….

Back on Yardrat

Goku was powering up a full blown Kamehameha Wave to send at his father.

He was now in robes like those of the natives, and was in his Super Saiyan.

He was so close to helping his father perfect the transformation. Bardock had only transformed once before a long time ago on Yardrat, and hadn't been able to get the hang of the situation yet.

So, they hoped putting Bardock in this situation, being forced to either dodge the attack, or transform and send it away.

And so, as Goku shouted, "HAAAA", it hit Bardock, nearly crushing him as he tried to send it back into the air.

The stress it put on his body nearly killed him, but then, as if a switch were unlocked, Bardock's hair suddenly started glowing gold, and his eyes green as he was able to push the attack back to Goku, who dodged it as it hit a very high mountain, blasting it to bits.

Goku smiled proudly at what his father had just accomplished.

Bardock was laughing in disbelief as he looked down at himself, the shining aura all around him.

Goku, "hahaha! You did it dad! You completed your transformation! Mom and Raditz are gonna freak!"

Bardock, "I don't care how they'll react, as long as I get to see them again."

Goku, "I'm just glad those Yardrat guys are able to replicate the technology from the pod. You And me will be able to go in two separate ones, instead of squeezing into one pod."

Bardock, "amen!"

The father and son shared a laugh as they relaxed for a moment before they would continue training.

One technique they were slowly learning another technique known as the, "Instant Transmission."

With any luck, it would make travelling a lot easier.

Until then, they would be training for another month until they would begin the trip to Earth.

….

At the exact same moment, we see a ship from Frieza's empire flying towards its destination. Two months away.

We see a large member of Frieza's species on the bridge, staring out into space.

He has white, pink and green skin, and a long flowing red cape.

This was Frieza and Cooler's father.

King Cold.

He heard a familiar voice from behind say, "how long until we make it to the filthy monkey's planet, father?"

King Cold turned to look at the speaker.

It was Frieza.

Only, he looked different. Bits and pieces of his body were replaced with crude looking cybernetic body parts.

King Cold spoke in a deep and booming voice, "in three months Frieza. Plenty of time for us to prepare a plan of attack against the Saiyan who tried to kill you. Him and all of his friends."

Frieza gave a bone-chilling grin as he said, "good."

Frieza would have his revenge….

…. Or so he thought….

mmat: no. I plan to keep Goku alive after the Cell games

Vegeta landed on Earth a little earlier than how he did in the show, mainly so I could kick start his relationship with Tights.

I managed to pack a lot into this chapter. Gohan is now in a little relationship with Videl and Erasa, Bardock has unlocked the Super Saiyan transformation, and showing Frieza's cyborg form.

Bruce Timm DCAU won the poll, but since so many people wanna see a Ben 10 story, I'm currently running a poll for who Ben ends up with.

I'll be working on both stories, so don't worry.

One idea I had for the story is that Ben's DNA is stolen at some point, and finds that an escaped Psychobos has been using it to try and clone an evil Ben. Ben stops him, and awakens the clone as a child, before it can start ageing. He takes the clone as his son, Ken, who would start growing up with Ben's Big Chill daughter, Lumi, and the child of Ben and whoever wins the poll.
