Kaon's first target was a red seeker with the Decepticon insignia crossed out on his wings. So, it only seemed proper for Kaon and Vos to take out his wings while ensuring his crash landing ended right in front of them. After losing his first wing the poor Seeker attempted to gun them down, but Helex's armor was far too thick as the flyer transformed to try and alter his descent.

Crashing into the sand, the red Seeker quickly dug himself out, but it was already too late. Giant hands quickly grabbed his sides, crushing both of his blasters as he was turned around to gaze at Helex's face. "I didn't do anything wrong…"

Helex's chest canopy popped open, "It's been a while since I melted real Cybertronian metal again. Hope you don't mind but I ain't like Tarn. I ain't gonna chat your audio receptor off while ya melt." Without any further exposition, he shoved the red Seeker inside and activated his heating elements while his poor prisoner was banging on the canopy frantically for an escape. As the red Seeker started melting in his chamber Helex smirked as he imaged this screaming Seeker was instead Starscream, "Cross Red Wing off the List. Find us our next target."

Before a new target could be designated a roar echoed toward them. It was one of the Dinobots, a single-horned four-legged beast with several spines protruding from its shielded head. Kaon tried using Vos to stop the beast, but each shot seemed to bounce off its shielding. Kaon quickly tossed Vos into the air so he could use his coils and start electrocuting it.

It seemed to halt the beast, sending it crashing into the sand. Kaon kept it pinned, shocking just for the pleasure of watching it squirm and cry in pain. Kaon was so lost in the pleasure and sounds that he was unaware when a smaller beast ran up and used its thick skull to send Kaon flying. Helex and Vos were both pinned by fire from two others, a strange two-legged thing with an even weirder protrusion on its head and a heavily armored brute with a spiked club tail. Another one had snuck its way in, a four-legged creature with a sail on most of its back, helping get the one Kaon shocked back onto its feet.

The horned beast roared at the DJD as they scrambled to get back on their feet. As they did something completely unexpected stated happening, the five Dinobots battling the DJD started combining. The battering ram and tank turned into the legs as they attached to the legs of the first Dinobot who attacked the DJD. The shield crest became a shielded chest as the combiner's head jumped out from the beast's head. The two-legger jumped up, extending out as it connected to form into a massive grappling claw. The sailback was helped up, the mighty maw now a toothy hand as the sail now seeming to serve as a shoulder-mounted blade.

Many of their beastly weaponry, such as the sail and the ram head were still viable armaments for this strange combiner, yet even it didn't seem to understand how the combination happened, it was more than capable of utilizing its new form as its grappling arm grabbed Helex as it tried to rip Helex's canopy open. But it was far too late for Red Wing who had already melted away. Helex had far more arms, trying to pull this abomination off himself, "And if that tiny bolt of a brain thinks you can shove Kaon or Vos in here to melt then you can think again!" Helex finally managed to throw the combiner off balance using his sub arms. "I control the heating!"

To demonstrate Helex blasted the combiner's face with heat yet the heat didn't seem to affect it. Then again most of the Dinobots demonstrated a fire breathing ability so it would be strange that they wouldn't be able to take such heat as well. In a surprise move, the combiner rammed the claw through Helex's canopy while he was blasting him with flames as he secured his toothy hand around Helex's head.

Helex tried to pull himself free using all four arms, but the combiner was set on tearing him apart. Vos planned to transform so Kaon could try shooting at the combiner only for a lance to find its way through Vos' spark chamber.

Kaon turned to zap their unknown assailant only for a sniper shot to go between his empty optics. Vos tore himself apart to turn around, screeching and yelling in Neocybex the entire time. Looking at the canine Zoid that skewered him, Vos activated a switch on the side of his face as he pulled it off. Vos dragged himself along the lance leaking energon and oil everywhere. "Wear…my…FAAACE!" The Zoid pilot saw a menagerie of drills, spikes, and hocks covering the other side as the drills started spinning as it inched closer to the pilot.

"You can burn in hell." The lances on the Zoid's neck swiftly flipped back sending what little remained of Vos flying across the sky, his face clattering away from where he landed. Just for added insult, the Zoid pilot blasted the mask to pieces before leaving the remains behind to find a new target.

The combiner finally tore Helex apart, crushing his head and throwing both pieces aside. Giving a mighty roar of triumph put fear into the Decepticons ho saw the demise of the final members of the DJD.

Vibes turned to one of the monitors that weren't showing a battle, "Why are you doing all of this?"

"As stated before, for the advancement of our people. To achieve that, we must start anew with a clean slate."

"And so, you created this world? These experiments? And when things didn't go your way you 'clear the board' again?"

A few monitors started playing old archives from Cybertron, "Did you assume that we would just plant a flag and start anew without old ideas bogging down progress?" The videos playing were scenes of citizens being bullied around to stay in their station along with various other cast related issues that limited Cybertronians, "This was simply the first step in a much larger advancement. I will admit that the progress could be far more efficient, however, such variables are far too valuable to waste to ensure the future reformation." It wasn't hard to notice how Vibes was reacting to the archive footage. "Seeing as you never experienced any of these hardships yourself, it's understandable how easily swayed you've been by Autobot propaganda and idealisms along with a lack of information from before the war consumed your world."

Vibes straightened herself, "Then tell me. I've been told plenty about how things were or how things could have been, and if there is a sliver of Shockwave's original personality still intact, logic and data are your only real masters. So, enlighten me on what happened. Only the facts and not just the Decepticon perspective."

"Very well. It will be an interesting distraction while dealing with your feathery acquaintance in her rather feeble hacking attempts. It is a long tale, should your concern not be with your other allies?"

Vibes crossed her arms over her chest, "That depends on how well Shred can break through your defenses. I am interested in learning more from an unbiased source. Besides, it's not like we have anywhere to go since you locked us in and I doubt blasting you or letting Gnash tear you apart would do anything to improve our situation any either."

"Perceptive, Autobot. It would seem that I underestimated your abilities." A single monitor separated itself from the wall of monitors, turning into a single glowing red orb, as it gazed at Vibes, "Very well. Then I need to explain the origin and bias of the caste system before anything can proceed."

As much as Thrashclaw didn't like the Shifter, him taking the form of her foe with a distinguishingly black markings where the strange bot had purple, was surprisingly helpful. The two of them pushed her, cornering her and nearly had her if she hadn't managed surprise you both with a hidden flashbang.

Just as their optics readjusted, there was a sudden quake that rocked everything. They could hear battle echoing from the border, but something was off. Rather than continue the battle, the bot pulled out several small spheres between her fingers and smashed them into the ground that quickly released a smoke cover. Thrash quickly rushed into the smoke in an attempt to stop her, but she was too late.

Thrash slammed her fist against the wall, "Scrap!" She quickly turned to Soundblaster, "Why didn't you know about this?"

He was examining the weapon attached to his new arm, feeling out this new form. "Scanning a form from a distance doesn't provide me with every aspect of the chassis. I needed to see her in action, and I thought she had exposed most of her tricks."

"And you somehow know her voice?"

"We've met," Soundblaster shifted back to his black Soundwave form, "Though not in a form she would remember."

As much as it enraged her to let this one go, Thrash turned toward the sounds of battle, "What's going on out there?"

Soundblaster looked toward the source before he received a message. "We are under attack!"

"By whom?"

"A single mega Zoid. I have been recalled to assist in the Council's evacuation."

Thrash nodded, "You protect yours; I protect mine." With that the two immediately split off, heading toward their respective groups.

Much to Darklight's regret, she had to retreat. Nightbird wasn't going to be happy to hear that the Autobots may have information on them or some of their armaments, but the situation demanded it. "Sister, there appear to be unforeseen complications currently brewing at the Predacon capital."

"What kind of complications?"

"An attack from a massive Zoid-like machine."

"Zoid-like?"

Darklight went invisible as she flew up to get a better view of the machine, "Transmitting visuals now."

Nightbird was unceasingly quiet for a good minute. "How long ago did this thing appear?"

"Based on the damage, it couldn't be more than 5 cycles. If the Maximals tried to retaliate, it seems their efforts were in vain. Which probably means short of the Defiance's guns I doubt even we could put a dent in it."

"Get a bit more surveillance then pull out. I doubt we'll get much more use from this plant after today." Darklight looked back down to the alley she was fighting in, regretting her failure.

"Sister…our status…may be compromised…"

As the city soon fell besiege by an unknown assailant, Maximals tried to get everyone to shelters. Thundercracker didn't see the point once he saw what they were up against. Sunspot and the others were helping, but with the way this monstrosity was tearing through the city, it wasn't going to be enough to save anyone.

"Sunspot, this is…Thunderclash."

"Thunderclash? Where are you? Those dirty organics are attacking us with some kind of super Zoid. Even if we work with the Maximals, I don't know if we'll be able to stop it."

"I see it. You and your group need to convince the Maximals or whoever in charge to begin a full-scale evacuation."

"Evacuate Neo Tetrahex? Are you insane? This is where we first claimed this planet! The biggest city we've constructed! Do realize how many bots live here?"

"I've done the numbers." Thundercracker transformed, blasting himself high into the sky, "More than what the Maximals could evacuate on their own. And the city's too deep to get everyone out if this thing decides to dig. Which is why I'm going to buy you some time."

"What are you planning? The Maximals couldn't put a dent into it before being torn to pieces."

"My scans indicate that I may have a solution to that problem. Now get everyone out! Oh, and one more thing…" Once he got enough altitude, Thundercracker dove straight for the massive scorpion as it systematically smashed everything in its path. "I've been lying to you. The name is Thundercracker!" He was using the dive to build up speed as he reached supersonic speeds and unleashed a powerful sonic boom right above the machine as he immediately rose back up.

That seemed to cause the machine considerable pain, the point-blank sonic boom probably affected a lot of internal systems just as Thundercracker expected. But now he had gotten this thing's full attention, turning from the city as it started using nearly every weapon at its disposal in an attempt to shot Thundercracker down.

This was nothing compared to the siege of Iacon, though Thundercracker was curious as to why it wasn't utilizing its tail's main battery. Regardless, the longer Thundercracker could keep its attention the more time the others will have to evacuate. This was going to be a bit tricky if he wanted to keep using those sonic booms if he couldn't get closer to do the damage.

Before Thundercracker could try and formulate a new strategy or analyze the firing pattern for an opening a volley of missiles smashed into the claw of the scorpion, followed by three new seekers flying toward Thundercracker. "Sunspot? Bitstream? Hotlink? I thought I told you to help with the evacuation?"

Sunspot flew closer to Thundercracker, "And let you hog all of the glory?"

"Besides, we're not alone."

Soon a loud screech came from above as Thundercracker finally spotted an avian that got closer. "Don't think you'll be alone. Maximal flyers are here to support too." Soon other flying beast Transformers joined them in the air before they rushed down to give the massive Zoid many new targets.

Sunspot shifted a bit, "So what's the plan, Thundercracker?"

Thundercracker never led any sort of attack, always following Starscream or Skywarp to point him toward his next objective. But Thundercracker had a goal, one he would stake his spark to protect, "Don't do anything stupid but I need you to draw that thing's fire as much as possible. When I find an opening, I'll give a warning before I pop another sonic boom. No heroics and we all might be able to get out of here in one piece."

"Those Seekers are mucking up the plan…" Deluge was scanning the group, finding an unregistered Seeker among them. "It would seem that the Decepticons may have left behind someone as a backup…"

Flamewar slammed her fist against a terminal, "There's only one Con I know who can create sonic booms so readily. But Thundercracker shouldn't be here…"

"And yet he is. We don't need to know why he's here, just that we need to deal with him." Deluge started to think, "Thundercracker had a unique ability to create sonic booms at will or intensify his speed created sonic booms. Unfortunately, sonic weaponry was never something we believe needed to be countered. It does appear that they realized that they need numbers to allow Thundercracker any further opportunities to maximize the damage of his sonic booms."

"Then I think it's time we finally test the main weapon. Wouldn't you agree?"

Deluge nodded, "Keep the charge particle cannon's aim focused on the flyers only. We want to acquire as many sparks as possible."

"That may not be possible…" One of the fellow researchers was going over data, "That initial sonic boom seems to have weakened our control nod connected to the spark chamber. If we unlock the weapon system, we may not be able to maintain control."

"On top of that, we must also fear any other internal damage that may have been caused that is throwing off our readings. This could inadvertently be what Scorponok needs to gain full control over the body. That would utterly destroy our plans…"

As Deluge stated, they were here to monitor and adapt to any unnatural complications such as this. "How has the situation with the Council turned?"

"Our agent reports that they initial planned to send everyone to the shelters, but it seems that reports from the Maximals and efforts from that Decepticon sympathizer group turned their decision toward evacuation efforts."

Deluge sighed, "I didn't want to summon it too quickly, but we need to halt this evacuation before things get out of hand. Rise the Seismosaurus from the depths and cut off their escape. We'll pincer them then utilize the remaining Zoids we have in storage to 'legitimize' the attack as a Zoidian assault."

Flamewar was intrigued, "Finally we're going to have some fun. How many will be utilized?"

"Why not just use them all? We'll have plenty of new specimens to exploit once this is all over."

It would provide plenty of data and the carnage alone would be fun to watch. "How quickly can we deploy it? The evacuation appears to be going a little too well…"

"That's why we're deploying all of the Zoids from the south. The little ones will rush in to give the Seismosaurus the time it needs to surface."

Flamewar moved to a terminal, "Fine, but I'll coordinate the Zoids on the ground. Make enough organic mistakes to make things all the more authentic. Now, how are we supposed to deploy them from storage without exposing our connection?"

"I believe I have a solution to that." One of their fellow Decepticons pulled up a map of the region, "Unused demolition charges from the city's expansion days have not been unearthed, and I doubt many even remember them, including the current councilors."

Flamewar looked over the map, surveying where the remaining charges were hidden. "I think we can work with this. But we need to stir up trouble before detonation."

"Our agents should still be hidden among the evacuees. I'm certain they could create quite the disturbance to delay evacuation efforts. Just be certain they don't end up collateral during the assault."

"They need to stick together than before the Seismosaurus shows itself, so it doesn't look like it's avoiding certain areas. And we have to limit its use of the charged particle cannon."

Deluge laughed, "Did you already forget we can redirect the particle energy into the secondary cannons?"

Flamewar huffed, "I hadn't. Just make sure that thing doesn't go on an uncontrollable rampage on us. If I recall, we were keeping it in reserve because the control functions showed limited success?"

"True, but enough control to direct its fury as needed. Now, let the carnival of chaos begin."
