[I'd love for you guys to tell me what ideas you want in your chapters! My aim is to go to 50 before I start another but afterwards I still update this, just not as much. Special thanks to Sora, for always reviewing and giving me great ideas! I'm really glad I make you happy! =) I do have an idea for the next 2 chapters, but after that...your ideas! Also, for my next fanfic I'll be doing, it's going to have Kyd in obviously, but who do you want him to meet? Say in your review! ]
Wally West was ecstatic. Finally, his vacuous bandages had tediously been removed, as his impossible speed wasn't just for pelting around: it was also fortunately for healing. He knew exactly what he desired to do. Celebrate, of course! And with his usually moody, uncooperative best friend! Whether he liked it or not! Yeah, he was brilliant at that. Kid Flash took a deep, stabling breath as he excitedly waved goodbye to the genteel doctor and tensed his slightly neglected muscles. With a delighted grin, he shot off swiftly, easily fazing through the pristine clean hospital walls, then out in Jump City, only a flamboyant blur to the flustered civilians. Flash laughed boisterously, feeling the cool wind energetically flutter his flaming ginger hair and pleasantly press his stylish attire into his own healthy outline of his fit body. It felt glorious, not having to hobble around clumsily or fumble feebly with his one injured hand. He of course easily eluded the startled people and, in his enthusiastic elation, began skillfully somersaulting around, mindlessly darting through the bustling streets. The only one factor that would improve this already luscious situation was being with his dear best friend, Elliot Knight, who, last time he'd checked, been serenely relishing a tranquil nap. Wally was clueless how he could insist on taking his short slumbers- what use were they when he could simply sleep at the obvious set time, night? Flash swiftly raced back to his homely apartment, just simply revelling finally able to dart around with his luxuriously familiar, and immensely missed impossible speed.
It didn't take long to rapidly faze through into the familiar walls and to swiftly scour the many possible places he'd sleep. Soon, Flash came to an abrupt, reluctant halt by his own sturdy bed and smiled fondly. Elliot, wearing a dark blue check shirt and grey khaki shorts, was wrapped tightly in his thick, warm duvet, as he sleep purred loudly. His now even longer hair was tied back neatly in a low ponytail. Wally hummed interestedly. What would Elliot look like with a change of hairstyle? Maybe short this time. Elliot would actually suit it well. Flash watched affectionately at the sleepy smile lingering softly on his pale lips and he sat besides his fast asleep figure. Wally gently shook his shoulders lightly, smiling expectantly before lowering him delicately. Elliot stirred slightly before his amber eyes gradually flickered open.
"...Wally…?,"he mumbled wearily.
"Hey, Ellie! Guess what?,"Flash exclaimed delightedly.
"Hmm?,"Elliot hummed tiredly.
"I don't need my crutches or bandages anymore! So we're going to party! And...get you a haircut!,"Wally tittered excitedly.
"Huh…? Who said I was coming?,"Elliot hissed irritatedly, comfortably snuggling back into his settled positions.
Flash smirked amusedly, knowing exactly how to… let's say, encourage him up.
Already, Elliot shivered uncomfortably as soon as Wally began gently flapping around his elvish ears, only to then twirl and twist them around delicately. For Wally, it was mediocre, but for the poor former villain, it was an insidious torture. In fact, he immensely preferred tickling! Finally, Elliot couldn't endure it any longer and he jolted up the moment Flash had started to tug on the pointed ends, though tenderly of course. Elliot was soon urgently rubbing his sensitive demon ears, tensely sitting upright, as Flash grinned both apologetically and victoriously.
"Well, El, come on! Or do I have that again?,"he teased warningly.
"Okay, okay, I'm coming!,"Elliot hissed indignantly, grudgingly pouncing out off the ever so comfy bed.
Damn Wally West.
Kid Flash followed elatedly behind, until he was practically erupting with enthusiastic energy and the vehement desire to pelt away. And Elliot was irritatedly trudging out much too slowly for his preferential opinion. With an exasperated sigh, the gamesome speedster darted impossibly fast and swiftly scooped him up in his strong arms bridal style. Elliot hissed startledly and was scarcely given any time to even begin to comprehend what had recently occurred when Wally was already racing at the fearsome speed of light. Elliot absolutely abhorred when Flash annoyingly ambushed him like this. Even so, he leaned in closer, sighing irritatedly. Within a mere minute, Wally had done an entire circuit around the busy city, just simply overjoyed to begin using his super speed once more, when he finally decided to reluctantly stop at the surprisingly quiet barbers. With a now green complexion, Elliot staggered nauseously off of Wally's secure grip and gazed hesitantly at the unfamiliar building. Nervously, he took an involuntary step back - surely his perfectly acceptable hair length required no cut whatsoever -only to crash into Flash's chest. Wally placed his two hands on his shoulders and forcibly dragged Elliot Knight forwards, sniggering at his dear best friend's clear distress.
"Pfft. Just do it. I, Wally West, aka the most handsome, fashionable boy in the world, will choose your hairstyle, okay?,"Kid Flash declared teasingly.
"I'm pretty sure my hair is fine! It's not too long or anything,"Elliot hissed hopefully.
"Yeah right. Your hair is way too low!,"Wally dismissed amusedly, eliciting an enraged hiss as he brutally prodded in between Elliot's shoulder blades, where his luxurious, black hair reached.
Elliot Knight hissed defeatedly, reluctantly letting himself be steered into the untrustworthy barbers. Would he regret this? Hopefully not but…probably will.
It was now midday and the two boys were at the pleasant pizza restaurant, in a secluded, comfy booth, chewing contentedly on hawaiin pizza, though Wally West was continually disposing of his unwanted pineapples on Elliot's slices. After all, what insane psycho actually came up with weirdly adding sweet pineapple, a sugary fruit, on a savoury pizza? And how on earth did Elliot even begin to tolerate it? Well, musing of Elliot...Flash smiled pleasedly at him, cheerfully inspecting his new stylish hair cut. His silky locks were cut to half way up his pale neck, trimmed fully straight all around, and Wally had also forced him to have a side swept fringe, that did actually enhance his already good-looking appearance. It really did suit him well, even if he himself fervently claimed he vehemently loathed it. Wally watched amusedly as his pale hand continually shot to the partly bare back of his ghostly white neck, rubbing it as though to hopefully contain the deteriorating warmth that his usual loose. thick ponytail always supplied. Elliot picked non-committedly at his delicious pizza slice, staring with dreamy, unfocused eyes into the uninteresting wall. Evidently, he was lost in his deep, cryptic thoughts. Wally laid his own freckled hand over Elliot's pale one, abruptly startling him out of his thoughtful reverie.
"What are you thinking about?,"Flash asked curiously.
Elliot regarded him strangely before he admitted seriously,"I'm just wondering where i'd be if I had never talked to you in the first place. Like if you'd give up and left me alone. I'd never have changed being a villain, I would never have had a broken nose, I'd...be alone. I can't imagine that. Not anymore. Before I talked to you, I always thought my future was empty, blank and just the same old same old. Just stealing for no reason. Just being pointless. Just...you know... being sad."
Kid Flash grinned brightly and gently intertwined their hands as he replied amusedly,"Like you said. I'm your hero, remember? And you're mine."
Elliot only smiled appreciatively and gradually finished his last slice of delicious (at least to him anyway) ham and pineapple pizza. Wally West tenderly removed his own hand from his and began enthusiastically sipping his own sweet chocolate milkshake.
"So. You wanna do something afterwards?,"Wally enquired excitedly.
"Well, to be honest, I kinda just want to go back and finish my nap…,"Elliot hinted distastefully.
"Pfft. Ugh, no way, Ellie! I'll mess with your ears again!,"he threatened jokingly.
Elliot's pale hands instantly fearfully flew in an useless attempt to protect his elvish ears, scowling vexedly and defeatedly. Wally smirked triumphantly and watched victoriously as he shivered uncomfortably before crossing his arms defiantly.
"You know, you can be really annoying and horrible, right, Wally? You have to respect my personal space! You have no right to even be next to me if I don't want you too! So. Watch. It. Or. Else,"Elliot hissed indignantly, glaring spitefully with an irritated pout.
Flash teased amusedly,"What is else? Besides, first-"
Wally sped impossibly fast next to him, immensely entertained to see him frown apprehensively and spin around in an urgent search for the roguish speedster. Wally immediately leapt forwards, his dumbfounding speed ensuring that although Elliot could easily hear him, he could never possibly react in time, and securely ensnared him in a playfully tight embrace from behind. Elliot hissed startledly.
"-you need to catch me,"he finished.
Elliot scowled defeatedly, especially when Flash gently wrapped his hand around his pale throat extra lightly, goading with him mischievously, a puckish spark alight in his crystal blue eyes. The irked former villain sighed exasperatedly and just merely swiftly teleported besides him instead. Flash smirked amusedly and elbowed him gamesomely, making him raise his eyebrows cantankerously.
"Well, let's get a move on, El, I want to celebrate my officially breathtaking recovery! Aren't you just thrilled?,"Wally taunted hopefully.
"Best feeling I've ever had in my life,"Elliot hissed darkly.
"Good, cos we're-,"he began eagerly.
Whilst admittedly on his tip toes, Elliot gently shushed him up by tenderly pressing a pale finger to his lips and with a malicious smirk, said wickedly,"You helped me face my fear with the sea remember? I want to help you now,"he continued, perhaps maybe abusing Wally's fond words from before,"And I'm your hero. So I want to help. Please."
Elliot had deceitfully learned from the adept speedster himself and tightly wrapped his pale arms around his fit waist, practically hearing his great failure of his deteriorating resolve. Although Wally could feel Elliot grin malevolently into his chest and knew he was being an absolute copycat, he gazed hopelessly at the shorter, pale figure, knowing he could never resist. Even in his wildest of lucid dreams. Elliot pulled back and instantly saw the resigned smile on Kid Flash's, grinning victoriously at his clear triumphant.
"I'll get us-,"Flash started.
However, before he could even finish his short sentence, Elliot had already rapidly teleported them away and Wally had to blink confusedly as he slowly comprehended the swift transition. Elliot laughed amusedly and gently grabbed his arm, dragging him along the… oh. Kid Flash gulped fearfully as he frightenedly gazed up at the much much much too high rollercoasters. They were in a bustling amusement park, untidily filled with flamboyant, differing rides and the odd gift shop or small food stall. Flash involuntarily stumbled backwards, and looked down panickedly, as he was gently towed by Elliot to the largest, tallest rollercoaster. Wally held his breath frightenedly, feeling like squealing fearfully as Elliot naughtily teleported them sneakily in front of the already alarmingly busy queue, merely carelessly ignoring the dirty looks they were rapidly recieving. Elliot smiled reassuringly, which Wally couldn't really return. The wicked yet simultaneously caring former villain chuckled softly for himself, shaking his head slightly.
With a start, Flash suddenly realised Elliot Knight was tightly holding his own freckled hand and he beamed fondly, sweetly beginning to rub his thumb around Elliot's pale knuckles. Elliot turned around tensely and froze when he too saw the affectionate actions he was participating in too. He hissed embarrassedly and humiliatedly attempted to tug it back, but Flash tenderly tightened his pleasant grip. Elliot frowned sternly.
"Wally. Let go. My hand, my rules,"he hissed firmly.
"But...it's either your hand and literally all of you so...pick! I'm pretty sure last time you couldn't breathe,"Wally teased hopefully.
Elliot sighed irritatedly and his once squirming hand went limp in his, as he rolled his amber eyes amusedly. He was especially piqued when they were finally allowed in the secure seats, and Elliot practically dislocated poor Flash's arm as he yanked him forwards. Grudgingly, Wally sat in his uncomfortable place, and he unconsciously crushed Elliot's pale hand, too frightened to hear him hiss painedly or annoyedly ranting to him about perhaps not breaking his hand into tiny smithereens. Wally knew he himself was starting to tremble shakily, his tan complexion was blanching increasingly and began to taste terrible bile in his throat. That was rising. Wait, wasn't it just supposed to stay there? Was there supposed to be so much of it?
Elliot Knight could tell Wally West was freaking out frantically, but he certainly hadn't expected Kid Flash to moan weakly. Then to, of course, based on his amazing luck. Horribly and literally. Vomit on him, all over his unfortunately favourite dark blue check shirt and his new grey khaki shorts. Elliot gagged repulsedly, his vicious glare softening at his dear best friend's frighteningly pale, yet also a sickly green hue, violent shaking, and his disconcertingly spooky appearance that looked like he was nearly ready to retch again. Elliot shook his head disbelievingly, feeling every gawking head gazing intently at the comical pair.
"You know what Wally, let's just go back,"he sighed disgustedly.
Flash nodded weakly, but rapidly stopped as he forcefully held back what would've been another accident all over Elliot. And with that, Elliot eagerly teleported them away. To put it shortly, Elliot had unluckily found out the hard way that some intense phobias were worse than they let on. Like acrophobia.
