Nick woke Jen the following morning with a soft kiss to her bare shoulder. She'd fashioned a makeshift nightgown for herself the night before. It had made Nick smile to watch her create something from nothing with her magic and don the soft pink silk slip over her head and wings. He'd been wearing only his trunks and crossed toward her, tracing his huge hands over the curves of her body appreciatively. Jen had smiled up at him and told him they needed to get some rest.

But now that they'd gotten that rest, they'd woken up with renewed energy and peace. Jen knew they'd need to focus and review all those files Nick had brought home. There was so much about his world that she did not understand, but she hoped that her outside perspective might help him figure things out. He had been so distraught these last few days, so overwhelmed by all the uncertainty and doubt that this Juliette Gardiner had been digging up on him. And now that Juliette was dead, there was even more to be worried about.

Those worries would consume their whole day, she knew. But that was after they got up. After they got out of bed. They could stay in bed for a little longer. Jen had rolled Nick onto his back as they kissed deeply. It was not unlike their first time together in the woods, Jen straddling his lap and grinding onto his hardness as his hands mapped every inch of her body and lighting a fire within her. Only this time, her wings were not hidden from view till she lost control. They beat in time to her heart. When she pulled back, they were both breathing heavily and smiling. The breeze created by her flapping wings blew her hair in her face, and Nick reached up to push it back affectionately. Her heart soared with her overwhelming adoration for this man. For his kindness and care, for his strength and brilliance, for all that he did to protect those he cared about and sought the truth for the benefit of those around him. And Jen could be here with him, to fall asleep beside him and be woken by his gentle touches. She wanted to be here with him like this forever if she could.

Jen shifted on his lap and Nick pushed his pants down his legs and kicked them off all while watching her pull that nightgown up over her head. It was so interesting to watch the way her wings were so flexible and could bend and move however she needed them. And yet the strength of them was so evident in all she did.

She took his cock in hand and slid herself down on him. They both moaned and gasped at the feeling of it. Nick covered her breasts with his hands, massaging and squeezing them as she started to move on top of him. Her head was thrown back and her wings trembled. Nick's hips snapped uncontrollably, meeting her movements. He moved to plant his feet on the bed to provide leverage to his thrusts up into her. His hands gripped her hips so hard he briefly worried if he might leave bruises, but it was all he could do to keep some semblance of control over himself. The way she moaned his name was enough to undo him. And quicker than he planned, he came hard as she continued to ride him. But Jen did not stop. Through his groaning, Jen leaned forward and braced herself on his chest as she gyrated her hips to grind against him. Her breath came in quicker pants and then she gasped. He was already spent when he felt her body clench and pulse around his cock. She collapsed against him, twitching and gasping for air.

Nick held her in his arms just like that for as long as he could. To feel her surround him and block out all thoughts of all other things. This was paradise, surely. Jennifer on top of him, filling his lungs with the beautiful smell of flowers and sex. Her wings moving lazily to create a cooling breeze. Their hearts beating in time as their bodies were still connected this way. He'd told Duncan last night that he might love her. Here and now, he was sure. He loved her without a shadow of a doubt, more than he believed possible.

Eventually, Jen's hips started to ache from her position, and she had to roll off him. But she reached over to take his hand, just to touch him and hold him and be connected to him still. Was it always like this for humans? She had never experienced anything like this with another fairy, but she could not believe that this was at all usual for humans; they were not a happy enough species on the whole for such overwhelming pleasure and joy to be a norm. Things with Nick were special, she knew. For them both.

"Nice way to start the day," he quipped.

She gave a breathy laugh. "Better than your running?"

He turned his head toward her with a questioning look on his face. He opened his mouth to ask her how she knew that when a lightbulb went off in his mind. "You followed me. You were invisible and you followed me when I went on a run," he realized.

Jen nodded, not knowing if she should say anything.

"Terry told you to watch me, is that it?"

She nodded again.

Nick gave a small smile. "Can't imagine you saw anything too interesting. I lead a boring life at home."

"I thought you were very interesting. Why do you run like that? I didn't see anything chasing you."

He did his best not to laugh at her earnest question. "I like to run. It's for exercise, keeps me in shape as I get older, and helps clear my mind."

Jen could understand that. Sometimes she would go on a long, fast flight to help clear her mind. Flying took concentration so her problems usually wouldn't bother her while she flew.

Nick added, "I could smell you that day. I felt a strange breeze when I ran, and I guess that was from your wings, wasn't it?"

"I guess so. I thought I was being so clever, seeing as I was invisible."

"Just couldn't stay away from me, eh?" he teased.

"Well I was under orders to follow you. But I think I'd have done it anyway after you took your shirt off."

He laughed, "What!? When did I take my shirt off?"

"The night I spent outside your house. You were in the kitchen washing things at the sink and got your shirt wet so you took it off and then turned around and I saw you and…"

Nick grinned in a very smug fashion, but she couldn't really blame him. He had every right to be proud of himself.

"I guess the running keeps you in good shape," she mumbled, blushing slightly. Though why she should blush was a mystery, since she'd just spent their first waking moments riding him better than he'd ever experienced in his life.

He rolled over, careful to avoid her wing beside him, and kissed her. "Come on, let's get cleaned up and get the day started.

Jen would have happily used her magic to clean them both up, but Nick had other plans. He took her hand and led her into his bathroom. Neither of them bothered to cover up at all, and she took great pleasure watching the muscles of his body as he moved around, turning on the water in the shower. Jen hadn't experienced a shower in the human world before. Things were different in the fairy realm, what with using magic for most things. But she watched as Nick got in and the water streamed down on him. Jen had to suppress a small whimper at the gorgeous sight of him.

Nick held out his hand to her. She joined him, curious as to what he had in mind for this. She'd never bathed with another person before. Not like this, anyway. But as the warm water wet her hair and her wings and dripped down her body, she found she liked it very much. Particularly when Nick started kissing her again.

It was almost more than he could take, seeing the water sparkle over her body like that. The droplets clung to her wings and ran down her shimmering golden body. He could not help but kiss her. He knew the day had to get started for them both, but oh he could not resist indulging just a little bit more in the glory of her.

His lips traveled down her jaw and neck and breasts, and before Jen knew it, she was backed into the corner of the shower stall with Nick down on his knees. He gently took on of her legs and draped it over his shoulder. His lips and tongue moved over her, tracing her folds and kissing and sucking and nipping at her. Jen let out high-pitched gasps as he built her up once again. One arm was bracing the wall while her other hand gripped tightly at his wet hair.

Nick flicked her with his tongue and looked up to see the water dripping down her heaving breasts. Her wings sparkled in the low light of the shower with each tremor causes by her pleasure from his mouth. He shifted slightly to keep his balance so that he could reach up to touch one of her wings. He'd been able to make her come that way before. He wanted to try and see what would happen if he used his mouth between her legs and his hands on her wings at the same time.

A strangled cry escaped from the back of Jennifer's throat as she came almost immediately from that simultaneous touch. She whimpered as she felt him lap up her rush of wetness and carry her through her climax with his fingers stroking her wings like that.

And suddenly, he was gone. She was bereft of his touch and opened her eyes to see where he went. Luckily, he was not gone for long. Nick stood up and took his heavy cock in hand to plunge inside her swiftly. His left hand was back on her right wing as his right hand held her leg up over his hip. He pounded inside her hard and deep. Jen just clung to him as she felt another orgasm build on the heels of the last. Her wing escaped his grasp as she came, her wings beating powerfully and spraying water all around.

Nick finished a moment later. He held her as long as he could, but his knees were going weak. He slipped out of her and helped her stand on her own two feet again. He placed gentle kisses on her cheeks and nose and eyelids. Jen smiled.

"I thought we were going to clean up?" she teased, holding her arms around him still.

"We can have a quick rinse and then get going," he conceded.

Her eyes blinked open and she looked up at him adoringly. "I think I liked my first human shower."

"You think?"

She laughed, "Well, we didn't really do much showering, did we?"

Nick shifted them so the showerhead was directly over her, drenching her with water as she laughed more. "There, see? Showering."

Oh I love you! Jen said in her mind. She nearly said it out loud, but decided not to. Not right now. The day had just begun, after all. And they had things to get along with.
