"This is it," Pebbles said, DETERMINATION clear in their voice. "Guys...you have no idea how happy I am at being able to have met all of you. I...I really am going to miss you guys." Marie and company were all crying now at the sudden goodbye of their close friend. "Aaron, man, you've always been filled to the brim with DETERMINATION and passion. You've been with me basically my whole life. I...I hope...we can still..." Pebbles trailed off, and begun to cry. "Pebbles..." Aaron said, trying his best not to cry. "I'll miss ya, man." He hugged the rock monster, and with their magic, they formed arms to hug back. "Misty. You've been mine and Aaron's friend ever since we were kids, and you've always kept us from doing anything too stupid. I'll miss you, and I hope you and Aaron are able to live happily ever after along with Marie and Percy." Misty rushed forward to hug Pebbles. After the hug, Pebbles turned to Percy. "Percy, you've always been filled to the brim with love and care, for your friends and family. And you gave us shelter when we needed it, and you...you SAVED us from being killed along with Marie. You have no idea how grateful I am that you followed your heart and SOUL and kept us safe." Percy was crying now, and hugged Pebbles with all her might. After they were let down, they turned to Marcus. "Marcus, you've always been filled with kindness and care, and you've always been kinder than I think we deserved. You've always been a supportive friend and brother, and you might just become a brother-in-law in the years to come. You're a good friend, and you've been like a brother to me." Pebbles said, and Marcus didn't have to be told once to hug him. They turned to Justin. "Justin, as Marie's brother, you've inherited her kindness and compassion as a friend and brother. You've always been filled with bravery and passion. You've been a good friend, and...you've always seemed like a younger brother to me." Even Justin was crying as he lurched forward to hug the rock monster. They turned towards Agate, Copper, and Amber. "You three, you've been kind to me, Aaron, and Misty, even though we're technically at war. You guys have been kind and patient with us. And Amber, make sure to keep those two in line." Pebbles added with a hint of playfulness. All three of the siblings hugged them. After that, they turned to Okami. "And Okami...I may have known you the least amount of time, but I know already that you're kind and passionate at whatever you face or do. You've been kind, and I think that you're gonna make a good teammate." After that, Pebbles got hugged by a half wolf. After that, they turned at last to Marie. "Marie...you're the leader and the light of us all. You've been nothing but kind and supportive and loving with us like a mother or big sister. And despite everything that you're going through...you still strived to stay true to yourself and your morals to always be kind to those who need it. You did gain LOVE from those you had to kill, but you still gained a lot more love. I guess that doesn't make sense." Marie still smiled and hugged Pebbles. After the hugs, Marie brought a gift for Pebbles along with everyone. Percy made an embroidery of a human and monster SOUL on a painting, Justin made a special cake for them, Marcus made a fire stone to keep warm, Amber made a little rock shaped sweater, and Marie made a picture frame that held a special picture in it. It had everyone in the photo. Now, everyone was sobbing and hugging Pebbles. After that, Pebbles said their goodbyes, and left for Mt. Ebott. After that, everyone was breaking camp when Marie heard a loud scream that thankfully, didn't belong to Pebbles, but there was still someone in trouble. Marie raced to the source, and found a young woman in trouble. The woman was being robbed by a few thugs. Marie blasted them away from the her, and the woman seemed ever so slightly familiar, but Marie couldn't put her finger on it. After the thugs were gone, the woman asked her to come. Marie did, and saw that she had a child and husband. Marie's breath caught in her throat at the child. It was Chara. The husband gave Chara a slap on the back of their head at not introducing themselves. "H-Hi. My name is Chara." Their voice was timid, and they were extremely nervous. Marie shook her head and said, "Hi. My name is Marie." Marie knelt down to the child and said, "You don't have to be scared of me." "It's not you I'm scared of." Chara said, glancing at their parents. Marie's eyes widened and said, "Hey Chara, do you wanna come to our camp?" Chara gave a grateful look at her, and looked at their parents with pleading eyes. The woman now had a disdainful look on her face and said, "Well, as long as you don't come back." Marie's eyes widened even more and she scooped Chara up in her arms. "How dare you?" Marie began. "They are a good kid. Why are you so abusive to them, your own child?" Marie and Toriel said at the same time. The woman rolled her eyes. "Well, we didn't want her. Why should we take care of her if she was a mistake in the first place?" Marie was trembling with anger. Chara caught onto this and said, "I told you! I wish to be referred to as a they!" Marie's eyes narrowed dangerously at the unkind parents. Marie let Chara down so she could properly talk to the abusers, but they scoped up Chara. "Chara!" Marie called, while Chara was kicking and screaming at their parents. "NO! I DON'T WANT TO COME WITH YOU!" Marie began to give chase, but Chara gave Marie a smile with a sad look. "Well, they are my parents...Marie, it was nice to meet you." And then they were gone. Marie was now on the ground and crying. "That was you." Marie said to the Chara who was with her. "Yes...remember, we are from another time." "I know..." Marie said painfully. "How could they?!" Marie yelled to herself. "Why didn't I do more...?" Chara could only nod sadly as Marie made her way back to camp. On the way, she spotted a small kitty. "Sapphire?!" Marie exclaimed. "I thought I left you with the guards back at the castle!" Marie scooped up her kitten, and took her back to the camp. After they finished breaking camp, Marie had the cat in her arms, and something to tell her friends.
