Hey, sorry for another long delay. Once again, I got writer's block trying to figure out what direction I wanted to take for this story. Then after I figured that out, I decided to do some research before starting things up. So I'm going to be bookending the Yuga story-arc in this chapter before starting the next one, which will be based on Twilight Princess. I appreciate your patience and hope you enjoy!

46th Entry: Knowledge and Censorship

After leaving Lorule's Sacred Realm, Zelda and Link found themselves in a similar place only with blue skies overhead and the Triforce was upright instead of facing down.

"This must be the true resting place of the Triforce, within the Sacred Realm," Zelda guessed.

Link nodded in agreement and the two proceeded to clasp their hands in a prayer-like manner, wishing Hyrule would be restored to normal. A few moments later, they were bathed in light and found themselves outside the Temple of Time. Paya was standing nearby, who gasped upon seeing them.

"I'm so happy you two are safe," Paya said as she hugged both Link and Zelda. "There was a series of new earthquakes throughout Hyrule not too long ago, though according to the Hyrule Network all the Lorule fissures are now gone."

"Well, that's good," Zelda remarked, looking at Link knowingly.

Seeing Zelda's glance at Link, Paya responded, "Did you have something to do with the new earthquakes and the fissures disappearing?"

From there, Zelda told Paya about meeting her Lorule counterpart Hilda and discovering Ravio's true identity as Link's counterpart in Lorule. Then she described the Sacred Realms of both Lorule and Hyrule, in how they were similar yet different. Paya in turn described her journeys to the Shrines in the Castle Town area, which led her to activating the ancient Sheikah Runes her great-aunt Purah gave her.

"Now because I think these runes could be useful for all of us, I sent them to the Champions and you guys," Paya concluded as she showed them on her Sheikah Slate. "So now we'll all be able to use the Remote Bombs, Magnesis, Stasis, and Cryonis Runes."

"That's very thoughtful of you, Paya," Zelda smiled. "I just hope we don't have to use them in the near future…."

Zelda made three more trips to the Spring of Power in the weeks that followed with the Champions as her escort. Like with the Spring of Wisdom, though, nothing seemed to happen that implied Zelda's Sealing Power was awakening. Meanwhile, Paya continued to do Eightfold Blade training at the Ta'loh Naeg Shrine. After Midterm Exams at Castle Town High School were over, though, Zelda visited Claree's Enchanted armor shop in Kakariko Village with Link escorting her. She gave Claree the financial reward she didn't get upon finding Zelda for Premier Rhoam, and bought a Stealth Set from her. Next, Zelda went to Impa's house and presented the Stealth Set to Paya while Link stood outside the house with the Master Sword on his back.

"Wow!" Paya exclaimed. "I've always wanted this kind of armor, but could never afford it. Thank you, Zelda."

"It's my way of saying thanks for the runes," Zelda replied.

Placing the Stealth outfit against her body, which was a blue skintight bodysuit with light armor, Paya remarked, "This looks just like the outfit that Sheik wore."

Confused, Zelda asked, "Who's Sheik?"

"There's an old Sheikah legend Grandmother Impa told me where a Princess was raised by our tribe after she was forced to flee her palace when an Evil Man from the Desert took it over," Paya explained. "She disguised herself as a male Sheikah member named Sheik, and helped the Hero of Time save the Six Sages from imprisonment."

"I think my mother told me a similar story, when I was little," Zelda recalled. "She said a Princess who had dreams of the future saw an evil man would come from the desert to claim the power of the Goddesses. Because of this, she asked a Fairy Boy to help her access this power to prevent the evil man from getting it. Though in doing so, she gave this man what he wanted because of a mistake the Fairy Boy made."

"Could this 'Power of the Goddesses' be the Triforce?"

"Probably, given what Link and I have witnessed. Maybe I'll ask Sahasrahla about it."

So Zelda left Impa's house and went to Sahasrahla's place while Link followed. She told him the story that Paya mentioned, which Link nodded to indicate he knew it.

"Did your uncle tell you the story of Sheik, or the Princess?" As Link nodded twice, Zelda frowned. "If these stories about the Triforce and the Sacred Realm have been passed down for generations, then how come they never appeared in the Hyrule Historia?"

Entering Sahasrahla's home, Zelda saw the old man looking through several old books. He seemed pleased to see them, as she described the progress on her Sealing Power training and the story Paya told her.

"Yes, the 'Power of the Goddesses' is the Triforce," Sahasrahla confirmed. "And the 'Evil Man from the Desert' known as Ganondorf accessed it through the Sacred Realm."

"Then why are the Triforce and the Sacred Realm not mentioned in the Hyrule Historia, which was co-written by you?" Zelda reached into her satchel with the bird-shaped emblem and pulled out her copy of the green-colored book.

"It was a conscious censorship decision made by me and the other authors of the book," Sahasrahla answered. "We feared that if knowledge of the Triforce and the Sacred Realm were made public, it could lead to the same mistake that the Hero of Time made."

"And what was that mistake?"

"He went into the Temple of Time and pulled out the Master Sword, which was housed in there, many years too early. As a result, he fell into a seven-year coma and allowed Ganondorf to obtain the Triforce in the Sacred Realm."

Hearing this, Link glanced at the Master Sword nervously.

"But seeing how our censorship didn't stop the likes of Agahnim and Yuga from trying to accomplish what Ganondorf did, it has made me consider doing an annotated version of the Hyrule Historia," Sahasrahla stated. "While we could run the risk of giving other followers of Ganon the knowledge they desire, it will also help the people of Hyrule understand the events that have transpired lately and possibly prevent future mistakes from occurring."

"Could I help you write it?" Zelda offered. "I've been to the Sacred Realm, and it would help me get a head-start on becoming a Scholar since I'll be entering my senior year at Castle Town High School next year."

This made Sahasrahla hesitate and say, "I'll consider your offer, Zelda. But in the meantime, you should concentrate on unlocking your Sealing Power."
