"Kyoko, what are you doing here?"

Kyoko stared at her gawking brother before darting her eyes at the three other boys. Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto looked at her and Haru with wide eyes as if they did not expect her to be here in the courtyard with Naruto and Haku. I guess Naruto decided that she really wants me to explain everything. She gnawed on her bottom lip and glanced at her boss and fellow subordinate. The older teen offered her an encouraging smile while the blonde stared blankly at her.

The golden-brown haired girl took a deep breath. She shouldn't expect Naruto to answer for her. The girl made it clear to her that she expected her to answer her brother's questions when she came here. Kyoko exhaled. This was not going to be difficult. Her brother could be reasonable if she pointed out that she came to cheer him and the others on.

"I'm here to cheer you on," she answered. Her brother's eyes widened and there were several sharp intakes of breaths from the people around them. Kyoko stole a glance at Tsuna. Brown eyes looked at her like he didn't expect her to know and that gave her the courage to continue on. "I know that there is a chance that tonight might be your match."

Her older brother blinked and blinked like he hadn't expected her to say those words to him. Maybe he did not expect her to say those words. From the moment Ryohei picked up those boxing gloves, she had made it clear that she did not like his choices. Fighting used to be seen as unnecessary in her eyes. There should never be a need to fight. But things were different now.

She rubbed her chin and glanced at Naruto. The blonde made things clear to her and made her understand why it was important to fight. Fighting was necessary when it came to protecting people or themselves. It is okay not to like to fight with friends but it is important to know how to fight. That had been Haku's words when she had been hesitant to try fighting against him.

"You don't need to see the sumo wrestling matches," Ryohei said, clearing his throat. Kyoko only stared at her brother, eyebrow raised at the words coming out of his mouth. His eyes locked onto her with a seriousness that made her balled her hands into a fist. The stubborn look on his face made her grind her teeth together.

How did she use to believe in his lies? Because how could she believe him when nothing about his training had to do with sumo wrestling. She once observed him lying down on the ground for a whole two days because Colonnello claimed her brother exercised too much. It isn't a claim, it is a fact. She exhaled and her brother continued to stare at her and Haru with expecting eyes.

"So is that what you are going to call the Vongola Guardian matches, Oniichan?"

The question hung in the air as her brother's eyes widened at the question. I'm not going to pretend that I don't know. Naruto told her that it was okay for her to explain everything. If she gave the okay then it meant she could admit to knowing everything. But she guessed her brother and the others weren't happy that she knew. Because as soon as the words spilled out of her mouth, the whole atmosphere turned tense.

So tense that Kyoko felt like she could slice it with a kunai.

Shaking her head, she turned to look at the others. Yamamoto had a tight smile playing on his lips as he flickered his eyes between her, Haru and Naruto. His reaction didn't really interest her. She cared about Tsuna's reaction. Those brown eyes looked at her with so much guilt as if he didn't want to involve her brother in this. Maybe if it had been Naruto, she wouldn't believe it.

But Kyoko knew Tsuna and she knew he never intended for this to happen.

"How do you know, Kyoko?" Her brother asked softly. The usual smile on her brother's face did not fade and there was a rage in his eyes that reminded her of flames. Hypocrite. That was how she wanted to describe her brother at this moment. He acted like it was a huge crime for her to know but she deserved to know. Just like how he worried for her, she should have the right to worry for him.

Haru placed her hand on top of her shoulders and Kyoko glanced at her friend, who carried Lambo in her right hand. Brown eyes encouraged her to tell her brother the truth and the golden-brown haired girl glanced at Naruto and Haku. Blue eyes stared at her with a blankness that reminded Kyoko of a blank piece of paper. It was like she wanted her to make the decision for herself. She looked to Haku, trying to see what he had to say and the older teen offered her an encouraging smile.

"Haru and I have been working under Naruto since you got attacked by those kids from Kokuyo," she answered. The anger in her brother's eyes worsened, reaching a point where she feared flames might actually shoot from his eyes. Kyoko exhaled and locked eyes with her furious brother. "You and Tsuna-kun weren't telling me the truth so I went to Naruto because I knew she wouldn't lie to me."

"Uzumaki!"

Her brother darted to Naruto and Kyoko dashed straight to her brother, twisting his left arm around before it could smash Naruto. Grey eyes widened at the sight of her and the the golden-brown haired girl glared at her brother for trying to attack her friend. Because that was what the blonde was to her. She was her friend just as much as Haru, Hana and Haku.

"Kyoko!"

She ignored her brother's yell and locked eyes with Naruto. The blond-haired teen fixated her eyes on her hand, blue eyes gleaming with amusement at the sight before her. I guess she must be happy that I can show off that I'm not a weak girl. Maybe that was why the blonde allowed her to stop her brother. Because Naruto could easily dodge her brother's fist.

In the months that Kyoko trained under the blonde and Haku, not once had she or Haru ever been able to land a hit on her.

"I'm not letting go of your fist if you promise not to do something stupid like hit Naruto," Kyoko said calmly. Her brother blinked and opened his mouth to argue and the golden-brown haired girl twisted his arm just a little bit tighter. It was necessary. Tsuna needed her brother right now and one punch from the blonde would land her brother in the hospital. "Tsuna-kun needs you right now and hitting Naruto will guarantee you a trip to the hospital."

"But she had no right to tell—"

"But I have every right to know the truth of what is going on with you," Kyoko said calmly. She released her brother's arm and the older boy let out a sigh of relief. Her older brother rubbed his left arm, looking at her like he didn't know what to think of her. He did not know her anymore. But they could talk things out later. "I asked her because I knew you were going to keep lying to me about what happened to you."

"Because I extremely don't want you to worry about me!" Her brother protested. His grey eyes pleaded for her to understand the reason for him lying and Kyoko hunched her shoulders. She knew that. Ryohei lied because he loved her. It hurt but this was the truth about her brother. He knew she always worried about him whenever he got into a fight.

Tsuna took a step forward and Kyoko shook her head at him. It was nice for Tsuna to try and defend her brother but this was not the kind of thing he should intervene. This was family affair. This was something she needed to explain to Ryohei because Tsuna was not her. Naruto was not her. She was the person affected by Ryohei's one-sided decisions.

"It is my job as your younger sister to worry about you," Kyoko reminded him. She kept her eyes fixated on her brother, never allowing it to stray to the other people surrounding them. "When Mum and Dad dies, we will only have each other and that means we have to take care of each other. I won't tell you to quit fighting because I understand now. You choose to fight to protect the people you love and well I chose to work under Naruto for the same reasons."

Ryohei stared at her for a long time until it felt like the world around them was quiet. Could he understand now? She wouldn't stop him anymore but if he was going down this path then she would keep him alive by whatever means necessary. The reason why she hated fighting was the thought of losing him. Loneliness wasn't a nice feeling and she would be lonely without him in her life.

Maybe it was selfish of her but she wanted to keep him alive by helping Naruto.

Finally, her brother looked at Naruto. He inhaled and exhaled like he was trying to reign in his temper. Maybe he was trying to do it for her sake or maybe it was for Tsuna's sake. Kyoko couldn't really tell what was going through her brother's mind. Naruto only stared back at her brother with just blank eyes.

"Kyoko, we are going to talk after this."

She bobbed her head.

"After you win your own match," Kyoko agreed. Her brother blinked and the golden-brown haired girl beamed at her brother. "I need you to focus on winning your match because you made a promise to me, didn't you? You won't lose another match and I have absolute faith that you will keep your promise to me."

Her brother grinned at those words and whatever nerves that Ryohei might had seemed to have disappeared. If her brother had been shivering from the fear or nerves then it disappeared now. Only confidence leaked through his eyes and Kyoko smiled. Now that her brother was confident and focused, there was nothing to stop him from winning the match in the future.

"It is so cute that your sister has faith but you are going to be destroyed."

The loud voices drew her attention away from her brother and Kyoko swirled her head to the roof of the front entrance. Golden eyes widened at the sight of the six people standing over them. They must be the Varia; her brother's opponents. Creepy and scary were the first things to come to her mind. The lack of sunlight alongside their cruel smiles brought out this description from her.

Her eyes flickered to the two ladies standing across them and she wondered when those ladies appeared.

It didn't matter if you asked Kyoko of what those people had to say because the Varia didn't have a secret weapon.

Tsuna and the others are going to win because Naruto is their hidden ace and Naruto won't let them lose.

"Uzumaki, can we talk in private?"

Naruto tore her eyes away from the arena and focused her attention on Tsuna. Brown eyes pleaded with her to talk to him instead of focusing on the fact that those Cervello women had prepared the arena based on the traits of the respective Guardians. She knew she should bark at him to focus on the battle of Ryohei that was going to start soon, but she also knew the boy. He wasn't going to stop bugging her until they talked.

She sighed and flickered her eyes to the circle that Ryohei forced the others to make before looking back at Tsuna. I guess it is better for us to discuss whatever he wants to discuss now then when Lambo wakes up. The toddler was currently sound asleep in Haru's arms, too tired from the training they had done before coming here.

"If you want to consult with me then you have to pay me ¥900,000," Naruto answered. Tsuna slumped his shoulders and the blonde flickered her eyes to the members of the Varia. Most of them seemed content with whispering to themselves. She could practically hear their conversation and their indifference of their boss not being here. Only the shortest member stared at her with suspicion and disappointment.

The suspicion was odd while the disappointment was even more strange. Why was the shortest member disappointed? Did they disapprove of her desire for money? It was none of their business. Just like how she did not choose to judge them for their occupation, the shortest member should not be looking at her demands with disappointment.

She rolled her eyes at the shortest member, gave them the bird before gesturing for Tsuna to lead the way. Whatever he wanted to talk to her about, must be something if you asked her because he was leading her right near the entrance of the school. It was so odd that even Gokudera kept glancing at them with worry in his eyes.

He usually looked at her with anger.

"What do you want to talk about?" Naruto asked, folding her arms against her chest. Tsuna rubbed the back of his neck, brown eyes flickering between her to Kyoko. The golden-brown haired girl had her eyes completely focused on her brother, who was getting onto the ring. I would like to see the match and see whether Haku's little theory is right or not. She cleared her throat. "Start talking or I'll increase the fee by another ¥100,000."

Tsuna gawked at her, looking at her like she was insane for increasing the price and the blonde snorted. Time was money and if he wasted her time then he better start paying her even more. The only reason she came with him was because he accepted the price of her consultation. If that naïve boy did not accept it then she would be getting ready to watch the match with the others.

"Is Hibari back?" He asked. Naruto stared at him with blank eyes as her hand slipped right into her pants pocket, fingering her phone. The boy inhaled and exhaled for a good couple of seconds before continuing on. "Is he going to be able to reach his match on time? Out of everyone I know, you are probably the only one who knows his whereabouts besides Reborn."

You do know Hibari and me aren't attached to the hip and that he doesn't tell me everything right? The words were just on the tip of her tongue but the blonde swallowed it down. It was pointless to tell him this. Those words were facts that Tsuna needed to acknowledge. Just because he showed he was slightly fond of her in public, didn't mean he changed his behavior around her.

But Tsuna was more observant than she gave him credit and Naruto had a feeling inside of her stomach that was not the real question he wanted to ask. She pressed her lips into a thin line and inspected the teen carefully. His brown eyes kept darting from her to Kyoko and Haru before coming back to her.

He is trying to build up the courage to ask the actual question really bothering him. The blonde grimaced and thinned her lips till it looked like she sucked a bad lemon. Tsuna flinched. Good. He should have the guts to ask her the real question bothering him. But honestly was this really the time for him to be asking questions? There was a match that was going to start soon.

"I dislike cowards."

Tsuna shuffled back and forth, brown eyes looking everywhere but at her. I'm giving him ten minutes to say something. Once those ten minutes were up, she was going to return back to the arena. Although she would probably need some sunglasses because those lights coming from the arena were as shiny as the blazing sun.

I hope Ryohei brought some sunglasses because it will be hard for him to fight with an arena like that. Naruto poked her tongue against her cheek and grimaced. Were those Cervello women really non-bias? Because they must have known that Ryohei didn't wear sunglasses like his opponent. But if Ryohei was really meant for this job, or if he had been trained well then he could figure out how to turn this around.

"I will ask the question after this but I really want to know if Hibari is going to come back anytime soon," Tsuna admitted. He looked down at his hands before fixating his eyes back on her. Seriousness shone through his eyes and Naruto sighed. "There was a chance that today was his match and he wasn't here."

Blue eyes focused on the concern eyes of her classmate. When he puts it in that way then I can understand his concerns. They were valid concerns. Concerns for a person who did not know Hibari all that well. The vein on her forehead throbbed with irritation but she shook her head. This was not the time for her to feel irrational about what Tsuna said.

The boy did not know Hibari like she did and so it was her job to explain it to him. I will explain it in a way that even an idiot can understand. This should be Reborn's job. It was the tutor's job to clarify the reasons for choosing Hibari and even Hibari's personality to him. But then again the hitman might not have the time to explain everything to him.

"If tonight had been his match then you could be certain that Hibari would be here," she explained slowly. From behind Tsuna, she could see Ryohei struggling to find his opponent. I can't even call him weak because he is at a disadvantage because of the lack of sunglasses. It was irrational for them to make a fight in this way but her senior needed to figure out how to win. "He never misses a chance to fight."

Tsuna relaxed his shoulders and Naruto looked up at the night sky. The words coming out of her mouth was the truth. Her ally almost had a built-in radar when it came to fights, something that amused her and annoyed Kusakabe. There was also the fact that they were fighting inside the school at night. That was definitely against the school rules.

If Hibari knew they were breaking the school rules, he would be back like a wolf trying to protect its den.

"Has Hibari contacted you at all then?"

Naruto shook her head and let out a little snort. Do you think he is the type of boy who will make contact while training? If he finally bites his instructor to death then he would be here. Just because they were in a relationship, there was no expectations for him to contact her. He even told her that he would contact her as soon as he was done biting Dino to death.

The lack of message told her that definitely did not happen. She sighed and shook her head. It was probably a good thing that he was not here or everyone was going to be bitten to death. I don't think I will be an exception. The male was going to be very furious when he find out that she kept it a secret from him.

But if she wanted him to be in his best form then this was a secret worth keeping. Besides, I can argue that he didn't ask me to protect the school while he was away and that it was the duty of his committee members. It was a rational argument. She was his partner and ally but he knew that she didn't work for him.

She shook her head and decided to focus at the question at hand.

"Hibari is like the cloud," Naruto answered. She slid her hands into her pockets and locked eyes with Tsuna. "He does what he wants and if he feels like contacting me or you then he would do it. Right now Hibari is focused on his training, so don't worry about him…worry about yourself. You are the one fighting Xanxus."

Tsuna nodded his head and the blonde looked up at the window that belonged to the reception room. I think saying this aloud helps to remind me that Hibari and me have an unconventional relationship. Her lips twitched and Naruto stopped herself from smiling. There was no need for them to contact each other because she knew him.

Their needs were different from other people and not being able to talk to each other was fine. If anything happens to him then Kusakabe will probably tell me. She rubbed the back of her neck. Even if she wanted to tell him that she missed him, well those words would never really convey her feelings.

Actions speak louder than words.

"Why did you tell Kyoko and Haru?" Tsuna asked. Naruto swirled her head back at the brown-eyed teen. His whole body turned away from her and focused on the two girls watching the match. His tone was impassive but there were traces of concern in his voice. He inhaled. "Telling them about the Mafia is dangerous. Ryohei-oniichan is going to be furious with you for the next couple of weeks with you."

Do you think I care? I gained two subordinates because of this. But saying those words would just get her a headache and it would interrupt the match happening right now. Naruto exhaled and looked at the match. Ryohei clutched his arm like he was in pain and the blonde frowned. What happened? God damn it, they needed to wrap everything up.

She closed her eyes and ran her hand through her hair.

"Not telling them about it is even more dangerous," Naruto explained. The boy opened his mouth to protest and she shook her head. "They are going to get involved sooner or later because of their association with you. There is also the fact that Kyoko and Haru knew something was wrong and so when they asked, I took the opportunity and told them the truth in exchange for working under me."

Tsuna looked at her for a good couple of seconds and the blonde held her hand out to him. Before they went back to watching the match, it was time for him to pay her back for the line of questioning. Honestly the questions had been pointless. They had been obvious answers. Why didn't he ask her of her plans? Or anything else? Then again, she couldn't answer him here.

We will have to be weary now because that member of the Varia is suspicious of me. Naruto darted her eyes to the shortest member of the Varia, who kept eyeing her with suspicion. The other day that member had been indifferent of her but the moment they heard her last name, they had a sudden change of tune. She rubbed the back of her neck.

"You know I thought of telling her but I didn't want Kyoko-chan to worry about Oniichan."

You do realize that he isn't your brother and what about Haru? Naruto clenched and unclenched her hands into a fist before exhaling. This was none of her business. Rationally she could understand why he wouldn't tell Haru. Unlike Kyoko, the girl did not have a sibling that was involved in this fight. When she considered it in that way then yes she could understand.

Naruto inhaled and exhaled before inspecting the boy in front of her. Should she give him some advice? His eyes were pitiful and scolding him in public would demean him in front of the Varia. I guess I'll just give him some relationship advice especially since he is going to pay me ¥900,000 and I better make it worth it for him. She pressed her lips into a thin line.

"Sawada if you really want a relationship with Kyoko or anyone really then you need to start treating the female you like as a partner," Naruto informed him. Her blue eyes locked onto him before flickering to the battle happening in the background. "Once you keep secrets or start lying, you will never feel any real intimacy with them in the future. Because lies are the things that will break a relationship romantic or not."

Brown eyes widened and Naruto understood his shock. I sound actually nice and like I actually give a shit. She wrinkled her nose. The money had been the reason for her talk alongside the fact she hated relationships based on lies. Although it was not right for her to give advice on a topic like this. It was not like she knew everything about relationships.

The relationship Hibari and her had was unconventional after all and shouldn't be something for her to base it on.

After all our relationship works for us. They might not be the conventional couple where this relationship would eventually lead to marriage. Marriage would never be on the cards for them even if it lasted as long as it did in the future that she saw between them. Marriage brought shackles and Naruto knew that it would act as a cage for Hibari.

Their relationship worked because they made everything equal between them. Not once in these seven months that they had been together, did he ever make her feel like she was anything less than an equal to him. But I might just have a different way of viewing things. She hummed and bobbed her head.

Ino and Sakura were content to be with a boy who would never respect them at all.

She shook her head.

"Oh and since I am giving you relationship advice now…pay me 1,000,000."

Tsuna groaned and looked at her like she was insane. "Can't you give me a discount?"

The whiskered teen shrugged.

"You know that isn't the way I work."

It was too nice of her and she was anything but nice.

"You were right, Haku."

Naruto pressed Lambo closer to her chest and looked up at the twinkling night sky. The fact that Ryohei won his match was such a surprise to her that she couldn't stop it from leaking into her voice. The odds had been stacked against him and the lack of sunglasses made it even worse for him. But the teen had managed to do the impossible.

Releasing a sigh, the blue-eyed teen glanced at her most loyal subordinate and the 17-year-old boy offered her a smile. It was not the smug smile that people would give for proving someone wrong. But the kind of amused smile that Haku would give her whenever she was frustrated with Jiraiya and his habits of trying to sneak a peak on the girls with Hibari nearby.

"You sound surprise, Naruto-sama."

She hummed, glanced down at the toddler sleeping in her arms, before looking back at her smiling subordinate. A part of her knew that they should focus on tomorrow's match. It was going to be Lambo's turn tomorrow and they were going to be relying on an unpredictable weapon. There was also the fact that Team 10 would be conducting their mission soon.

Those were things for her to consider but Haku kept looking at her like he wanted an elaboration for her surprise. She could understand. The words implied that she had no faith in his theory and in a way she did not. The power of protecting people should not be reaching a level where a 16-year old boy could defeat an experienced assassin. She took a big risk with bringing Kyoko and Haru there.

A risk that paid off when Kyoko kept reminding Ryohei of the promise he made to her as a child.

"Lussuria has more experience than Ryohei but the fact that Kyoko kept cheering him on and reminded him of his promise kept him going instead of making him give up," she observed. The blonde flickered her eyes down at Lambo's hair and her eyebrow twitched at the stolen candy inside of his hair. He is going to be eating vegetables for the next week. She shook her head. "It is a fluke…but a good one."

The lack of experience should have been the deciding factor but Naruto guessed it did not help that the Varia were a cocky bunch. Too arrogant for my taste. She snorted. That arrogance was going to be the reason for their downfall. If a person did not always overestimate their opponent then there was always a chance for them to be defeated.

A fresh genin might have a chance of defeating a jounin if said-jounin underestimated them. And this is the exact scenario that the Varia and Tsuna's team are facing right now. Naruto sighed. Maybe if the Varia continued to be arrogant then there was a chance for Tsuna and his friends to win. But it did not matter either way.

Tonight, she was going to get her evidence.

"People get stronger when they have someone to protect," Haku pointed out. The blonde swirled her head at the former missing nin and his eyes flashed with understanding as if he expected that she knew this. Maybe she did. When there was someone precious to you, it was a lot more scarier to lose them and so you just wanted to protect them.

Of course she was never going to tell him this. It sounds too sappy for my taste and I'm not a sentimental person. Rational was what drove her and emotions confused her most of the time. If she understood emotions then forgiveness should be easy for her. But the reality was that she was a practical person.

The only reason she understood his words was the logic behind them. There is also the fact that I'm going through great lengths to make sure they win because I don't want to lose Kyoya and Lambo. She paused. So maybe there was a slight possibility that she was sentimental just a little bit. But it did not mean anything.

It just meant she was not a complete robot.

Shaking her head, Naruto pulled her phone out of her pocket and pressed on Choji's contact. We are done with the match, so tell Shikamaru and Ino to start preparing for their mission…also be careful. The shortest member of the Varia looked at her with suspicion and if they had an inkling that she was not from the Outside then it might be a risky mission for them.

The blue-eyed teen slipped the phone back into her pocket and stared at Haku. Now that the first match was over and done with, she could now focus on the boy's appearance. There were no scratches and bruises decorating his face while Yamamoto looked pretty beaten up when he arrived to the meet-up. The whole arrival of the Varia and the match made me forget to ask him. Well it was never too late to ask.

"What was it like fighting against Yamamoto?" Naruto asked, clearing her throat. She combed through Lambo's curly hair and focused her attention on Haku as the owls around them hooted. Brown eyes looked considerate and the blonde tilted her head. "Do you think he has a chance against Squalo?"

Haku pressed his lips into a thin line and tapped his finger against his chin. Was there a possibility for him to win if they continued on the course of training? Or must they think of another way for him to win? Out of all the ways she considered helping the black-haired boy, this had been the best idea that she had.

It was one thing to swing a sword at a practice dummy but it was a whole different story to fight against an opponent. Although Haku might not be talented in the sword like Squalo. The older teen was an amazing shinobi but he was not perfect. She was fine with that. But it might not be useful for Yamamoto if she thought about it.

"He has a lot of potential as a swordsman and an assassin," Haku finally answered. His brown eyes locked onto the road ahead of them, never once straying towards her and his lips curled into a smile. "He won't be as good as someone who trained for years but his swordsmen style is something that I can imagine Zabuza-sama being excited about. I think he would have enjoyed training Yamamoto in the art of the silent killing."

Those brown eyes looked so sad that Naruto waited for a tear to come out from his eyes. Even though it might have been years since Haku lost his teacher and father-figure, he never really discussed about what happened. It had been fine for her. Their relationship had never reached a point where they could talk about their personal issues.

But now things were different. Haku wasn't just a subordinate to her but someone she considered like family. He is like an older brother especially with the way he is starting to tease me about my feelings for Hibari. She guessed that maybe it was time for them to talk about the elephant in the room.

"Do you want to talk about how he died?" Naruto asked softly. Her subordinate swirled his head at her, brown eyes widening at her offer and the blonde bobbed her head at him. It was a shock for her to ask instead of just continuing to walk…but she was concerned for him. He wasn't just someone that took orders from her and she wanted to show him that. "It is okay if you don't want to talk but we are here for you."

It was fine if Haku didn't talk to her but he could talk to Kyoko or Haru. Those two girls were more opened with talking about their feelings. If he was waiting for Lancia to come back so he could discuss about his past then that was fine too. But she needed him to know that he was not alone anymore. He had her and the others to support him.

"A corrupt businessman hired Zabuza and me to assassinate a bridgebuilder," Haku finally answered. His brown eyes hardened and the blonde bobbed her head at him. His tone was tight and the blonde squeezed his shoulder, hoping that it gave some comfort to him. The teen exhaled and smiled at her. "But that bridgebuilder hired Hatake Kakashi and his genin team to protect him. While I fought with the Uchiha genin, Kakashi assassinated Zabuza. I tried to stop our fight but that Uchiha brought some problems for me."

So he fought against Sasuke and if what Hinata-chan told me is true about the Uchiha Clan's Kekkei Genkei is true then maybe he used genjutsu on him? Naruto grimaced. She had never seen the Sharingan since Sasuke had never once used it in their fights. Either he never had it during their time in the Academy or Sasuke never saw the use of using it against her.

Knowing the arrogant asshole, it could be either one of them.

"You must really want to kill Hatake and Sasuke for what happened."

Haku blinked and swirled his head at her, looking almost apologetic at ever having the thoughts. She snorted. It would make no sense for him to be apologetic since it was natural to have such thoughts. Those were the kind of thoughts she would have if it happened to her. Besides, Sasuke had been her rival during her time in the Academy while she didn't even know who Hatake was.

But it would have been a pity if he killed Sasuke. He was a fun opponent and a difficult target when it came to pranks. A sigh escaped her lips and the blonde shook her head. It didn't matter anyway. Sasuke and her were never going to meet again in this lifetime. Maybe in some parallel universe, the two of them would have been teammates.

It would have been the worse matchup since we would end up killing each other.

"I was upset for a very long time and I did contemplate killing them," Haku admitted as they walked past the bakery near her home. Naruto nodded her head and moved Lambo's head to her other shoulder. The brown-haired teen hummed. "But it was a mission and being killed in a mission is expected, but it wasn't all bad."

She raised a single eyebrow. "What good came from that mission?"

Haku looked at her and then to the toddler in her hands before glancing up at the night sky. The nostalgia and happiness in his smile made her stop in her steps. What was going through his mind? What good did he see coming from his mission? He was still grieving for his master even though it must have been more than two years.

"I found a new family in you and the others," Haku answered.

Naruto only offered him a smile as her throat tightened at those words. It was natural for him to say that. She saved him, took him in and put him through high-school. Of course he would think of her as family. So why did she want to tear up? Why did her heart flutter at those words? She did not fully understand but she did know that his words made her happy.

"Kufufu, I'm sorry to interrupt your heart-filled conversation but Uzumaki Naruto, I want to make an offer to you."

The two teens swirled their bodies around, eyes widening at the sight of three teens standing before them. Out of the three of them, Naruto only knew two of them. She should know them. She knocked them out a couple of months ago so that Tsuna could fight them. She curled her lips into a frown as Ken and Chikusa glared at her.

The girl standing between them had a smile that reminded her a lot of the boy who humiliated her, and only one question ran through her mind.

How did Mukuro's minion escape prison? And why does that girl sound a lot like Mukuro?

Naruto had a feeling that she was not going to get any sleep tonight.

A/N: So the reason that Ryohei battle against Lussuria wasn't in great detail is because it is a lot like the fight in the anime, so I thought there was no need to describe it. The other matches will be in greater detail. As you can see Naruto meets Mukuro/Chrome and Team Ten will be starting their mission.
