Five years had passed. It was August of 2020. Jessie and John were still going strong. They'd bought a house together in 2018. Summerslam was tomorrow, it also happened to fall on Jessie and John's eighth anniversary. Jessie was in LA with John for Summerslam. John was gone doing autograph signings all day. Kim invited Jessie to her hotel room. Jessie knocked on the door. Kim answered it.

"Hi." Kim said.

"Hi." She went inside.

"Aunt Jessie." Kim and Randy's three year old daughter Brooklyn yelled running up to her.

"Hey you." She picked her up. Brooklyn hugged her. "Did you miss me?"

"Yeah."

"I missed you to."

About an hour later Brooklyn was napping. Jessie and Kim were talking.

"So, you and John eight years tomorrow." Kim said.

"I know." "I can't believe it's been eight years, it's crazy."

"What do you guys have planned?"

"Dinner, then we're going to the pier." "Followed by some sex." She said smiling. "I know some couples say it gets stale after awhile but not with us." "It's been eight years and it's still so hot and so good."

"I know." Randy and I have heard you.

"What?"

"Remember that trip we took together to Puerto Rico two years ago?"

"Yeah."

"Well you remember our room was right next door to yours." "One night you guys woke us up at two in the morning." "I don't know what he was doing to you but you were very loudly enjoying it."

"I think I remember the night you're talking about."

"Was John your first?"

"No." "That was my ex-husband." "John was the first person to ever make orgasm though."

"Really?"

"Yeah." "Until I had sex with him I didn't really like it." "He changed my mind real quick."

The next night everyone was at the arena. John went by Randy's locker room. The door was open.

"Hey man." John said standing in the doorway.

"Hey."

"Are you busy?"

"No."

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah." He went in shutting the door behind him.

After the show and dinner Jessie and John were walking on the lit up pier hand in hand. They were alone.

"It's such a beautiful night." Jessie said.

"Yeah it is."

"So." She got in front of him. "Ready to take me back to the hotel and do what we did on our first date eight years ago?" She kissed him.

"Not just yet." "I have something to tell you first."

"What?"

"Randy won."

"What?" She said confused at first. "What does that m- "Oh my god." She said getting it. John took a little black box out of his pocket and got down on one knee. "You're kidding, right?" She said shocked. She didn't know how to react.

"No." He opened the box. A beautiful ring was inside with a huge diamond in the middle. "I know we haven't discussed this since our first date." "I know how I said I felt about getting married again." "Over the last few years I've had a recurring thought, making you my wife." "Being with you has completely changed my mind about that." Jessie was crying. "I also know how you feel about marriage but if you say yes, I promise I'll never hurt you." "Jessie Marybeth Bell, will you marry me?"

"Yes." She said tearfully. He put the ring on her finger and stood up. "I can't believe this." They kissed. "I love you so much John."

"I love you too." They hugged.

"Does Randy know he won yet?"

"Yep, already payed up."
