The Previous Night

All Might was just getting ready for bed when his phone went off. Yagi's face contorted in fear at the name but he knew not answering it would only make things worse. "H-hello Torino-san, h-how have you been?"

"I've been fine Toshinori but you should call more. I don't hear from you in years and when you finally call, it's just about asking for help training your successor, I'm hurt." Sorahiko sighed into the phone. "Anyway I wanted to talk to you about something you mentioned. You said the girl had a vision of One For All showing her the past users right?"

Toshinori recovered in time to answer. "Uh yes, Young Yaoyorozu mentioned it a few weeks ago, she said she believed the first talked to her personally."

"Interesting ... Has the girl had any more of these visions?"

"Um no not that I'm aware of Torino-san. Why does this matter though?"

"Well that's because something similar happened to Nana, though it was just a fleeting moment she wasn't even sure it actually happened and you've never gotten any visions either right?"

"Well no but i-" All Might tried to reply.

"It could be One For All is maturing but the fact you never got any visions makes me think it's not that. Make sure you update me if anymore of these visions happen, especially if they end up destroying another room." Torino had an inkling of an idea especially since he knew Nana's mentor. The vision wasn't that weird but it was the fact that it physically manifested and damage the girl's surroundings that worried him. "I don't want One For All to hurt that girl." She reminded Torino of Nana too much, they even had the same hair and eye color.

"I'll make sure I do sir. She's only had hairline fractures from the quirk when she overdid it a few times, I really need to thank Young Midoriya for that." Toshinori immediately realized he fucked up when he said that.

"That reminds me you big oaf those two mentioned you tried to make the girl throw a 100% smash as the literal first thing she did with the quirk what the hell is wrong with you. Even if you could use around 80% immediately not even you could use a 100% smash at first. Why was that the first thing you told her to do!?" Sorahiko yelled into the phone. "On top of that what possessed you to think it was okay to train somebody with All For One's quirk. I swear for the symbol of peace you are an idiot."

Yagi wasn't going to take that second part laying down. "I know I was wrong concerning my training for young Yaoyorozu but do not insult Young Midoriya ever again Torino. The boy has already had enough of that, he suffered for years before I found him and for what? Because he wanted to help others he got beaten, bullied, and told to kill himself. The day I met him was the day after he discovered his quirk and someone told him to his face that he was a monster that needed to be put down. On top of that his own father tried to murder him, so Torino I swear the next time you insult him you WILL regret it." The phone slightly cracked under the pressure the number 1 was exerting on it.

Torino didn't realize how much of a sore spot he'd hit. It was supposed to have been a joke. "Sorry Toshinori, I didn't mean it. It was a joke but a bad one clearly. I know the boy won't do anything. He has the hardware sure but none of the drive."

All Might relaxed his grip on his phone. "As long as you understand then it's all good. Sorry I'm just so angry I was never there for the boy when he needed it. The USJ, Stain, his father, the bullying, his school they were all against him and I was never there, some symbol of peace I am. I couldn't even save one child."

"Yagi, that boy thinks the world of you. I only got to meet him for a few days and even I could tell that. Even if they're things you regret the boy certainly doesn't think that way. You may not have saved him as soon as you could've but you definitely saved him in the end. I can promise you of that, do you want to know something he told me?" When Torino didn't hear anything he continued. "He knows your gonna have to retire soon and the only thing he wants is to find a quirk that will let you live the rest of your life in peace. He just wants you to be happy you big lug so be happy, the boy cares about you as much as you care about him."

Toshinori was tearing up on his end of the phone but he couldn't let his old master hear that. "Thanks Torino, I needed that."

"Well that's all good and dandy but Nighteye is going to have a field day when he hears about the kid. You know he's going to be on a warpath to get the kid locked up, he's never been one for sentimentality."

All Might paused he knew he was going to have to tell his old sidekick eventually, honestly he was surprised that he hadn't gotten a call following the sports festival. " I ... know, but just like my choice to remain a hero if he decides Young Midoriya cannot be trusted due to his quirk alone then he will continue to have no part in my life. Like I said the boy has had it rough enough already, I'm not going to make it any harder than it has to be."

Torino smirked. "Good tell it to his face then, make sure to get a picture though. I can't wait to see his stuck up face after that bit of news reaches him. Anyway It's been good Toshinori, I'll talk to you later. Good night."

"Good Night." Toshinori hit the end call button and sighed. He scrolled through his contacts until he saw the name Nighteye, he knew he needed to talk to the man but could he really just reach out to him. After all this time? It'd been almost a year at this point, Toshinori turned his phone off, no not tonight. He'd meet up with him in person, anything less would be an insult to his old comrade and friend.

The current day

Izuku yawned loudly as he woke up, that bash bros tourney had gone on until like 2am, it had to be forcibly shut down by Eraserhead because they were causing too much noise. Honestly Izuku was surprised Iida hadn't shut it down before then. Then again the second the boy in question started playing he was hooked instantly, Izuku guessed he'd never so much as touched a game console before. That being said fuck Iida for picking that dumb blue hedgehog every round and spamming the roll move as he dashed about the stage. Izuku being a respectable person mained the guy who shouted Dorryaahh when swinging his sword and Momo picked the angel who could block everything and shoot lasers. Izuku had the misfortune of using a smash attack right as Momo countered which instantly killed him. Izuku swore if he heard the words 'Explosive Flame' or 'Auto Aim' one more time he was going to have an aneurysm. What shook him most though was the fact at how good Sero was, he completely destroyed everyone using a couple of the many sword fighters.

Anyway back to reality, Izuku looked at the clock and realized they were both slightly late, had their alarm not gone off? Izuku quickly moved to shift the sleeping girl awake. "C'mon were late you gotta get up."

Momo protested greatly before finally opening her eyes, Izuku's words sunk in slowly and she snapped up looking at the clock. "Damn it, we really shouldn't have stayed up that late." The girl jumped from the bed rushing to her shower. "Sorry Izu you gotta go to your room this morning."

Izuku just smiled devilishly. "Orrrrrr." He paused for dramatic effect. "We could share."

The girl instantly started blushing and stuttering. "I um uh ... "

Seeing his job completed he walked towards the balcony before flying up to his room.

Momo leaned up against the wall as Izuku left. She huffed in some parts relief some parts frustration, she'd been seconds away from saying yes. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, oh well she'll get her chance later.

Everyone had been sitting silently in class waiting for their teacher to arrive. Most in similar states of exhaustion due to the previous night. Tenya took this as his personal moment to declare to the class how he'd been right. "I warned you all about the consequences of such actions on a class night. Now we're all paying for it." Izuku thought that the boy had the biggest shit eating grin he'd ever seen on him but since it was Tenya he wasn't sure.

"Oh shut up you tin can, you were one of the last people up. I lost in like the second round and went to sleep early. Yall were so loud that I couldn't sleep though so thanks for that." Hagakure bemoaned from her seat.

"Yeah IIda you can't blame us that's super hypocritical! And go away you stupid pigeon my head isn't a place for you to sleep." Mina was still trying to get rid of the damn thing, she'd thought about melting it with her acid but that felt too cruel even for this abomination.

Sero flexed his elbows. "Doesn't change the fact that I beat all of you."

"Yeah doesn't change the fact you probably failed the exam flex tape!" Bakugo shouted to the back of the class.

"Yeah well so did you! You deserve it too for spamming projectiles all last night." Sero glared at the boy.

Bakugo was about to retort but the door to the class opened revealing their teacher. "I could hear you all from outside the room, keep your shouting down." Aizawa surveyed the room letting everyone quiet down. "Good now let's talk about the results of your tests. Obviously some of you failed and because of that ...

You're all going to the summer camp."

Mina and Kaminari shouted to the heavens for sparing them. They were however quickly silenced when Aizawa activated his quirk. "There were no failing grades for the written portion which is good but Kaminari, Sero, Bakugo, Ashido, you four failed the practical. In the exam we left all of you a way to pass but you needed to go outside your comfort zone which all four of you failed to do. The exam itself was a logical ruse and the Summer Camp is going to be grueling, it will bring you to your limits. The ones who failed are going to need it the most anyway."

Tenya shot up from his seat. "Sir if U.A. keeps using these ruses against us then will our trust not begin to waiver."

Aizawa sighed. "You make a good point Iida but it's not like the entire thing was a lie. For those who failed there will be special remedial classes in addition to everything else the class has to do. So be looking forward to that you four. It'll be harder than anything you could possibly imagine, if anything you'll be wishing you'd been left behind." He let gave them his manic terrifying grin that he does when he wanted to scare his students before moving on. "That's all for today's classes. There's a sheet up here for everyone that has everything you will be needing for the camp. Make sure to grab one on your way out." Aizawa retreated back into the cocoon that was his sleeping bag.

"Oh why don't we all go shopping together!" Mina exclaimed after grabbing her list. "We could all hang out and visit the stores and stuff, it'll be a blast!"

"Eh sure why not, I'm down pinky." Hagakure held up her thumb. "How about the rest of you?"

Surprisingly everyone, even Bakugo decided to join in once Kirishima had invited him. The only person who couldn't come was Todoroki, he'd wanted to go see his mother which no one could really blame him for.

Everyone arrived at the outdoor shopping mall a good hour later. The principal had signed off on the idea pretty readily once he'd heard about it, he even assigned Midnight and Present Mic to watch all of them while they were out. Which thankfully no one seemed to object too. Even if the villains had been quiet lately it was better to be safe than sorry Izuku figured.

The Kiyashi-Ward shopping wall was massive, easily one of the largest this side of Japan. Everyone in the class stared in awe. There were various cat calls once people realized this was class 1-A one clothing store even asked Shouji to advertise for them in exchange for free clothes. The shop in question was a specialty one that made custom fit clothes specifically designed for people with mutant body types.

Momo was in shock for a totally different reason, her parent's had never quite given her that many freedoms that included things such as this. Going out with friends and shopping, they were never really that strict on her they just thought that Momo should only receive the finest and the finest doesn't come from a shopping mall. So it was nice to kickback like this for once. She was brought out of her thoughts by Jiro.

"Hey Yaomomo I need to get a new carrying bag wanna come with?" The earphone girl asked her.

"I think we're supposed to stay with the groups Jiro but I suppose we could ask for permission for a quick detour." Momo began walking over to Midnight. "Midnight-Sensei is it okay if we go pick out some stuff in that store over there?"

"You two cuties trying to get dollied for a special someone? Oohhh I could just eat you up but sure just be back quick hun."

Momo still wondered to this day why Midnight was allowed to be a teacher at U.A. but oh well.

Izuku on the other hand split off with Hagakure after receiving permission from Present Mic. It was weird to only be with her but it didn't bother Izuku in the slightest, he rather liked spending time with her after all. "So what do you need to get Hagakure?"

"Oh nothing particularly, some outdoor shoes mostly. I don't exactly have all that many personal items after my time with You know who. Mostly everything I own was strictly mandated by him." Hagakure lamented.

Looking at his companion's darkened face he tried to raise the mood a bit. "That just means we get to start from scratch, alright let's get you those shoes then anything else you want. I've been saving up my allowance for a bit so consider it a gift for not kidnapping me." He smiled at the girl.

"Oh you've got some snark now I'll take that you up on that then. Here c'mon I've always wanted to try one of these but haha invisible." She pulled Izuku into a photo booth. "Say cheese!" She flashed the boy a bright smile while holding up a V for victory as the camera went off. "C'mon you gotta get that dopey smile off your face wonderboy. Here try looking intimidating like this." Hagakure forced them through various poses as she took a lot of different photos. "There that should be good for now. How about we get some shades and maybe food after that, the crepe place here is amazing." Wait a minute how did she know that? Her head burned for a second but she dismissed that. Just more stolen memories she figured.

Izuku saw her distress and moved his hand to her head. "You okay? I'm guessing you know what is flaring up again."

"Yeah you'd think I'd get over these stupid migraines but here we are, you mind waiting here while I go get something to fix this?" She asked pleadingly.

The boy simply waved her off and Izuku found a nice bench to sit on while he waited for her to come back. He was surprised when a small child ran out of the alleyway and gripped onto his leg. She was covered in bandages and had white hair with red eyes and a small horn poking out of her forehead. "Please... help." She gripped his leg tightly.

Izuku immediately shot up and put his arms around the girl, once he saw a figure he recognized. He already created a pigeon and sent it off by the time he hit the floor. Hopefully Hagakure will get what I'm doing. "What are you doing here Shigaraki?" Izuku spat his name out.

"So not only does the brat I'm supposed to be escorting escape, I have to run into you of all people. I was just supposed to take her shopping but whatever fuck it. Give the girl back or I'm going to start killing people around here." Shigaraki flexed his hand at Izuku but he just stared him down.

"You and what quirk?" Izuku smirked at him.

"Brat I swear if you don't release that girl right now your going to find out. Plus it won't just be me who've you angered and trust me you do not want that kind of attention from them. We already want you dead enough, adding an additional entire organization to that list isn't going to work out to well for you." Shigaraki's glare turned predatory.

"You know your quirk was disgusting, I fed it to a chicken before I ate it. It added this kind of dusty ashy taste to it. Probably the worst thing I've ever eaten." Thermal Vision was still flaring but he'd finally spotted the image he was looking for. Took you long enough Hagakure, he watched as the girl raised some kind of invisible weapon and then slam it down on Shigaraki's head.

He's not sure how but the man child saw it coming, he dodged at the last second before firing a blade out from his hand at Hagakure who thankfully also dodged only getting a scratch on her stomach. "Don't think we've forgotten about you either traitor. Trust me you'll be getting it just as bad as he will."

So that's his new quirk he can fire blades from his body? It can't just be that though Shigaraki also somehow knew an invisible girl was behind him he must have a second quirk as well, some kind of sensory one if he had to guess. "Well there's two of us now and reinforcements are on the way so what are you going to do." Izuku clutched the girl tighter, ready to flee at a moment's notice.

"You know I hate you, I hate everything that this wretched society stands for. So I don't get it, all anyone cared about was Stain that night, same with All Might why does everyone flock to some stupid symbol. While my Nomu got thrown to the side even though they caused way more damage and destruction. In that single night I killed more people than Stain has in his entire career so why?"

Hagakure was trembling in rage toward this bastard, her supposed 'master'. The cut wasn't much more than a paper cut but she was starting to feel weird.

"That's because people can understand them, you on the other hand are a faceless entity who just wants to destroy and kill. Who's going to follow that mentality, theres no reason for senseless bloodshed." Izuku noticed Hagakure was starting to wobble when Shigaraki finally smirked.

"Ah it's finally kicked in has it. That blade was poisoned have fun trying to save our little traitor now I've heard it's extremely painful as for what you said I suppose your right Izuku Midoriya. I get it now, charisma. My charisma stat was my dump stat I just need to raise that. Good luck now that you've pissed off the Yakuza." A portal opened behind Shigaraki which he quickly jumped through.

Hagakure collapsed as soon as he did, shit. Izuku set the little girl down. "I need you to stay there okay, you're safe now I promise. Yes 119 It's a medical emergency my friend has been poisoned I'm at the Kiyashi-Ward shopping mall next to the alley by the crepe stand and it was caused by a quirk. I'm a student of U.A., Izuku Midoriya I need to contact my teachers so I'm hanging up." He quickly hit the speed dial for Present Mic. "Sir please come quick Hagakure's been poisoned, Shigaraki was here and he had some kind of blade quirk... NO I'M NOT JOKING WHAT THE HELL MIC!" Izuku screamed into his phone.

"I got her h-hurt I-i am-m a m-monster." The girl was curled up in a ball sobbing.

Izuku really wished he had three hands right now. He'd never finished checking whether or not Hagakure could handle an additional quirk but she was dying and Izuku couldn't take hers so he was thankful when the alarm bells didn't go off. He pumped the quirk into her and forcibly activated it, he doubted it'd do much to stop poison but it's better than nothing.

Hagakure spoke in labored breaths to the girl. "It's ... not ... your ... fault ... blame ... them ... no ... monster ..."

"Damn it Hagakure hold on help's on the way." Damnnit I wish I could fly a second person. He needed to calm the girl down so he reached out to her with one hand and pulled her in. He hugged her tightly. "She's right your no monster, the people who did this are the monsters. My names Izuku, what's yours?"

The girl broke from sobbing as she felt a warm embrace, like nothing she'd felt before. This person was gentle. "E-eri."

"That's a good name, Eri." He smiled at her. "Want to make a friend?" The girl looked at him confused before he used the hand holding her to grab a misplaced piece of brick before turning it into an orange tabby cat, he made it a kitten so the girl could carry it easier. Eri looked on in awe as she was handed the cat. "She's yours want to name her?"

"R-really? Y-your not l-lying right?" Eri was about to burst into tears for a completely different reason she's never had a pet before.

"Of course not I won't lie to you, ever." Izuku smiled at the girl now lovingly stroking her new cat.

Thankfully Mic finally arrived with Midnight in tow. "Midoriya what happened?" The speaker user asked the boy.

"Shigaraki happened he's got some kind of poisonous blade quirk now. I also think he's in league with a group who kidnapped this girl." Said girl had moved behind him as if to put Izuku between the adults and herself. "I called the paramedics they should be here soon, at least I hope so. I already gave her my healing quirk and it's sealed the wound but It doesn't seem to work on the poison." Izuku took back his quirk realizing it was futile.

"Midoriya you need to stop attracting so much trouble." Present Mic deadpanned. When he tried to get closer the little girl just hid further behind his student. "Alright lil listener it's okay you can stay with Midoriya. I just need to get my other student."

Izuku backed away from Hagakure along with Eri so that Mic could pick her up. Sirens were off in the distance and Izuku knew tonight was going to be another long one.

Mic watched as Midoriya took the kid and sat with her on the bench and decided that was probably for the best right now. He laid Hagakure on a table so she didn't have to lay on the floor until the medics arrived. Her random convulsions were starting to worry the man.

"Nedzu was right Midoriya is a trouble magnet." Midnight fished her whip out of her purse in case.

"At least he means well." Present mic sighed and turned his radio weapons on in case he needed them.

He walked over to the bench and had Eri sit next to him with the cat on her lap. He knew he should be worrying about his friend but he couldn't do anything about that right now and blaming himself would only make things worse, even if he did in fact already blame himself. "So have you decided on a name yet Eri?"

"Mr.B-bubbles." She stuttered out.

"That's a great name Eri, soon some people are going to be here who are going to have to take us somewhere else. Are you going to be okay with that?" Izuku rubbed the girls admittedly filthy hair while he spoke, he swore whoever hurt this girl was now at the top of his admittedly long shit list. Which now apparently included the Yakuza.

"Y-you wo-nt go anywhere r-right?" The girl visibly trembled as she spoke.

"Of course not Eri, just like won't go anywhere."

He pulled out his phone again. "Hey Momo are you good with kids?"

Izuku just heard silence from the other end of the line. "Izuku I hear the sirens, what'd you do?"

"I plead the fifth?"

"Izuku this isn't America. Where are you? I'm on my way." Momo sighed.

"Bench next to the alley by the crepe shop, Shigaraki was here."

He heard the beginnings of angry shouting so he ended that call real quick.

Izuku kept patting the girls head as he realized there were a lot of people he was going to need to call. Mom would yell at him, Toshinori would be well Izuku didn't really know, and Nedzu would probably yell at him as well for almost getting abducted by the league again. What a life.

"So what's your favourite food Eri?"

"Favourite food?" The girl tilted her head in confusion.

Alright yup Izuku is about to straight up murder some motherfucker. "It's the food you like most, for me it's Katsudon, have you ever had that?"

"I've only ever gotten to eat health supplements that increase blood cell creation." The girl spoke medical jargon like it was a common occurrence, which it seemed that it was.

His shock was interrupted when Momo arrived. Eri noticeably wilted as the girl approached. Izuku held up a hand to stop her before she got closer. "Eri this is my girlfriend Momo, I promise you she's really nice."

"R-really she's like you?" Eri looked up and down the girl noticing the owl on her shoulders. "Did Izu give you that bird?"

Momo saw the cat on the girls lap and came to the obvious conclusion. She smiled at the girl before kneeling before her. "Yes this is Ivory." Momo held the bird out for the girl to pet it.

Eri hesitantly reached out to pet the bird before it leaned into her touch hooting lightly.

Momo nearly squealed at how cute this girl was. "I'm guessing Izuku got you that cat?"

The girl simply nodded as she continued petting the owl.

They sat like this for a few minutes before the paramedics arrived and when they did Izuku basically forced himself into the back of Hagakure's ambulance with Eri in tow. The little girl was clearly uncomfortable being around medical equipment so he just held her tighter. "I'm sorry Momo I'll see you at the hospital okay? They can't have anymore people in here and Eri needs treatment."

Present Mic was the one who cut in. "Yeah we'll take care of her little listener. I already sent Midnight to gather the rest of the students. I'll be following the ambulance with you to the hospital, the police are going to want to talk to you as well."

"Yeah yeah I know Mic-Sensei, keep everyone safe." He waved them off as the doors closed, the ride to the hospital was mostly silent except for a few questions the medical staff asked him regarding the type of quirk and if the little girl was injured. He wasn't sure but if the bandages were anything to go by she absolutely was, that being said Eri wouldn't let any of them near here to check. "I'm sorry I'm pretty sure she's a kidnapping victim and she doesn't trust strangers we're probably going to have to wait until we're in a less inclusive space before she's willing to do any treatment."

The medical examiner just nodded, he had no intentions of furthering the girls trauma.

Hagakure now laid in a medical bed, her bodies condition was rapidly worsening and the convulsions were getting worse. The doctors were currently running the quirk database for a poisonous blade quirk but Izuku knew they weren't going to find one. All For One wouldn't be stupid enough for that, plus it's probably a combination of quirks since Izuku knew Shigaraki already had at least two. The situation looked more and more grim, this was supposed to be a stupid shopping trip but it seems the league is constantly hunting me. Wait a minute Shigaraki made it sound like it was an accident, didn't he? Is that my luck? Just randomly running into the leader of the league of villains who are actively hunting for me.

It was to the surprise of Izuku when a nurse came running in saying they'd found the quirk, it was owned by a villain named Ferrum Venenum, which was latin for blade poison. Slightly more original than most he guessed, but why would All For One do something so careless. Something that could easily get traced back to him, unless it couldn't somehow? It was a form of neurotoxin which explained the muscle spasms as organs shut down but that still begs the question, why?

A few minutes later that same nurse came running back in with the antidote which they quickly administered to the girl. Izuku's sigh of relief was palpable, the girl on his lap felt him tensing up. "Is everything okay Mister Izu?" Okay he was officially too young to be called that but when the girl said it something in his heart snapped.

"Yeah she'll be fine but you can just call me Izu okay?" He rubbed the girls head. "C'mon I know you don't want too but the doctors really need to see you. I promise they won't do anything to hurt you and if they do I'll be right there to stop them."

Izuku spied the doctors coming over. "She's going to make a full recovery we stopped the poison before it spread to much. Is the little misses ready for us?" The doctor held up a lollipop for the girl.

She just stared at the object like it was a foreign entity. "Go ahead and take it Eri, it's candy it tastes really sweet."

"It's apple flavoured too, I always give them to my best patients." He kneeled down and held it out which the girl hesitantly took before taking a lick and her face changed as she greedily started licking it more and more. Before biting the thing and eating it instantly.

Izuku held her hand as they were lead into another empty patient room. Eri was told to sit up on the bed so that the doctors could look at her. When they tried to remove the bandages she flinched at first but Izuku made sure to let her know she was okay. As the bandages hit the floor Izuku's internal rage just kept increasing, this girl had so many scars covering her arms and legs, they looked surgical, all in exactly straight lines like she had been cutting herself. The doctors had the same look upon their faces that Izuku did, that of barely suppressed rage.

The doctor who gave her the lollipop began speaking. "Ms. Eri do you mind if we take some of your blood, we need to do some background checks as well as some blood work to make sure your okay."

Eri's face changed to what looked like death had paled over at the mention of taking blood. Izuku just grabbed her hand reassuringly. "Eri it'll just be a quick prick and then it'll be over. You can do that can't you?" He tried to give her a reassuring smile but the anger inside him was making that difficult.

Eir just nodded weakly before sticking her hand out. "If you do good I'll give you another lollipop do you want another?"

The girls gaze brightened when he said that and he took it as her answer. "This won't take long I promise." He brought the needle to the girls arm as slowly as he could in an attempt to not startle her. Once he had it next to her vein he pushed it in and began drawing it, the vial was full in seconds and he took it out of her arm before patting the spot down with an anesthetic wipe. He pulled another lollipop from his lab coat. "Here for being a good patient." He smiled at the girl.

Eri hungrily grabbed the thing from the doctor before returning to her spot on the bed next to Izuku. "See it's okay Eri, here's Mr. Bubbles back. Some men are going to come and ask questions soon but if you're not up for it I can handle it."

"If-f it's j-just questions I-i should be f-fine." Her stuttering returned but Izuku could hardly blame her. He felt his phone go off ... again. Time to rip off the bandaid he supposed. When he opened he saw missed calls from Toshinori, Nedzu, Aizawa, his mother, a large number of the class and even Bakugo of all people.

Group Chat Opened

Cinnamon Bun: Hey guys I know your probably worried but Hagakure is expected to make a full recovery. I don't have time to explain everything now but I will later. Were both safe and sound I hope you guys are doing so as well.

Izuku immediately closed the chat before the flood of messages came, his phone was basically permanently vibrating at the moment so he turned that function off.

He then sent texts to his Mom and Aizawa letting them both know everything is okay before finally calling Toshinori.

A panicked voice came through the phone. "Is everything alright Young Midoriya?!"

"Yeah we're good Hagakure is through the worst of it, it seems they had the antitoxin on hand. Can you get Tsukauchi to come down here I have some pretty big news related to the League." Izuku was being curiously watched by the girl in his lap as he spoke.

"Yes my boy we'll be right over. I assume young Yaoyorozu is with you?" The number 1 asked his protege.

"Not at the moment no but I expect her to be here soon. She rode over with Mic, I took the ambulance."

"That's good to hear then I'm glad everyone is okay I'll see you soon." All Might hung up after that.

"Who was that Izu?" Eri looked at him questioningly.

"A very good friend of mine and my mentor, I'm sure he'll love you." He rubbed her hair.

She gave a noise of agreement and leaned into Izuku before falling asleep, the cat joined her owner. So now Izuku was stuck with a little girl and her cat on his lap. When Momo entered she took several pictures as she squealed internally. Mic was smart enough to use his inside voice while talking as he did not want to wake the girl. "So what happened Midoriya?"

"A lot of stuff I'll wait for Tsukauchi to get here before I start explaining though I don't want to have to tell this story too many times." Izuku never stopped rubbing the girls head as he found it soothing. "Also Momo if you spread those photos your gonna pay."

"Too late I-zu-ku." She sing songed showing him her phone and the photo in the class group chat.

"Your a monster." Izuku moaned.

"I learned from the best." Momo stuck her tongue out at him.

"I suppose that is my fault huh, what happened to ms. little wealthy noble."

"She's in here somewhere, summoned when necessary but it's way more fun to kick back and ignore all that stifling bureaucratic socializing and act like a normal person." She huffed.

Mic was rapidly beginning to feel like a third wheel in the room of four people. He was about to leave when his coworker and a detective quietly walked into the room. Toshinori spoke first. "So that's the girl?"

"Yeah she ran into me while trying to escape Shigaraki. Then he got mad about how his luck was shitty running into me of all people after letting the girl go. Then he asked me about why Stain was more popular than him despite him having the higher body count. He's got some kind of poisonous blade quirk and I believe a sensory quirk, he somehow knew Hagakure was sneaking up on him before she attacked. She and the object she was holding were both invisible, the only reason I knew she was there was because of thermal." Izuku recounted the events as they happened.

The detective just gawked. "So you what just randomly stumbled upon the leader of the league of villains while he was on a walk with that girl?"

"I mean he also stumbled onto me so it kinda goes both ways, but essentially yeah thats what happened." Izuku was rubbing his head with his free hand.

The detective continued. "Has the girl told you anything?"

Izuku nodded his head indicating he was saying no. "The only piece of information I got was that the Yakuza was involved somehow, Shigaraki told me himself before he jumped into one of Kurogiri's portals."

The detective was rapidly writing down notes. "That's still a huge piece of information, knowing the Yakuza and the league of villains are working together. It gives us more ways to tackle the problem of finding the league as we can now investigate the Yakuza as well."

Eri started rubbing her eyes. "Sorry did we wake you?" Izuku stared at the girl in his lap.

"Ahuh but it's fine." Once she saw how many people were in the room she moved from his lap and hid behind Izuku.

"It's okay Eri they're all good people I promise. He's my mentor and he's a friend I've known for years." Izuku pointed at Toshinori and Tsukauchi.

Eri seemed hesitant to move from her spot but finally relented. "He's going to ask you some questions is that okay?"

Eri nodded.

"Sorry to put this on you Eri but we have to get the people who did this to you. What can you tell me about where they kept you?" Tsukauchi felt for the girl.

"Um I d-don't know. We were underground but I was never allowed to move around, it has a bunch of tunnels. S-sorry." Eri looked down.

"Hey it's okay Eri. You don't need to know everything. Do you know where your parents are?" The detective continued.

The girl froze and started hyperventilating. Izuku immediately noticed this and started trying to calm her down. "It's okay Eri listen to me. Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in , breathe out." Copying Tenya's attempts to help him as best as he could. The girl continued sobbing and breathing sporadically for several minutes until she calmed down.

Tsukauchi realizing that was not a subject he should be asking about quickly backpedaled, he decided to let Midoriya handle her for a bit because it seemed to be working. "Are you okay continuing? If not we can postpone this till later Eri." The detective asked the girl calmly.

She shook her head no.

"That's fine then I'll be back tomorrow. We should let you get some rest for now. It's been a trying day." Tsukauchi motioned for everyone to leave the room but the girl held tight onto Izuku. She looked at her saviour pleadingly.

"I don't think she wants me to go and to be honest I don't want to leave her here. It's too risky if the league is involved. Can't we take her back to U.A. or something?" Izuku begged for his teachers to listen.

All Might turned to look at Present Mic before relenting. "I agree if the league wants her as badly as they do what's stopping them from taking her back with Kurogiri. I'll make a phone call give me a bit." Toshinori stood at left the room, Present Mic followed shortly after.

"See I'm not going anywhere it's going to be fine Eri." Izuku reassured her.

She relaxed her vice grip from his shirt when she realized Izuku wouldn't be leaving her alone.

Izuku killed Stain for hurting his friend, he's certainly going to put down whatever monster did this to a young girl. He didn't care how long it took him, he was going to be this girl's hero. "Tsukauchi what do we know about the Yakuza?"

"I don't like that look Midoriya, going out for revenge isn't your job." The detective looked at him disapprovingly.

"I won't lie and say that's not part of it but they will be coming for her. I need to be prepared."

When the detective felt that ping as a truth he was equal parts relieved and equal parts scared. "I can get Nedzu the documents, just promise me you won't make a move on them."

"I can promise that I won't do it on my own but I will be going for them at some point. What kind of Hero would I be if I let people like this roam free on the streets." Izuku gave him a fiery gaze.

Realizing that's the best he's going to get he took it. "Fine consider it done, have a good night Midoriya." Tsukauchi left the room silently passing All Might and Present Mic on his way out.

"Good news my boy she's going to be staying in one of the empty dorm rooms for the night. When Nedzu heard about her he knew leaving her here overnight would be foolish. We're having her case transferred to Recovery Girl who's now in charge of her medical attention. So everybody get your stuff, we need to get everyone out of here as quickly as possible Hagakure Included obviously. A medical stretcher will be coming to move her onto an ambulance back to U.A., leaving her here would be just as stupid." Toshinori spoke into the room before grabbing his coat.

Izuku gently lifted Eri onto the floor before grabbing her hand. "You hear that were going to where I live. You don't have to say in this dingy hospital."

The girls face while not smiling, visibly brightened at that, she wasn't going to be left behind.
