Given the fact it was a weekend it was to be expected that The Mystic Grill was busy. It was a small detoured Sabrina chose to make before heading to the old witches' house to meet Stefan.

"Oh man," Damon groaned sitting at the bar with Alaric who was flipping through midterms. Several different bottles of alcohol were laid out in front of him. "I can't believe you're making me drink alone."

"I'm free to drink with you," her voice timidly called out from behind him.

His eyes glanced at her before turning back around. She was being ignored, all because of the role she played in the failure of the killing Klaus plan.

"You have to speak to me eventually, Damon." She looked at Alaric who shared some empathy as the vampire continued to act as if she wasn't there.

"You're being childish. Just talk to her," the history teacher defended. She gave him a small smile of appreciation before turning back to Damon who looked at her with disdain.

"You should be thanking me that I didn't tell Elena about your last minuet decision to double cross us," he seethed.

"I'm not going to say I'm sorry."

"Then I have nothing else to say to you, Sabrina." He turned back around, attention on the various drinks placed before him. Sabrina sighed knowing she wasn't going to get anywhere with him right now.

Staying still in her position she glanced behind her. Elena and Bonnie were sat at a table having their own discussion. She was unsure if Elena's reaction would be worse than Damon's.

He still hadn't looked back at her, it hurt seeing him treat her this way but right now she was more curious as what Stefan wanted.

"Your brother hates me," she announced seeing the younger Salvatore standing in front of the old decrepit house Bonnie usually came to, to channel her powers.

"He'll get over it, come on." He led her inside.

It was just as she remembered, dusty, old and dark. Dead leaves decaying around and layers of dust collecting on every surface. The only light in the rooms where from the broken windows and holes in the celling. Sabrina followed into a one of the rooms downstairs. The decomposing factor was the same, however the only difference was four coffins were spaced in the small room.

"Stefan," she said quietly as she walked around them. "If Klaus find out he'll kill you."

"And everyone I've ever met." It was a mix of sarcasm and callousness. "Yeah, he already said."

She watched as he followed her route around the coffins and stood in front of her. "Why did you ask me to come here?"

His hands moved to the clasp of the casket they were near.

"To say thank you. And," he stopped in midsentence, pushing the lid of the coffin up. "To give you this."

Her head turned to see the familiar face laying in a deep sleep in the white lined coffin with a dagger imbedded into his chest. Her hand reached in, fingertips gently tracing the outline of his face.

"I thought it was only fair to return what Klaus took from you."

She looked up at him, he stood in front of her with his hands in his pockets. The force of her arms wrapping around his neck made him wobble enough to have to hold the side of the coffin to not fall over.

On her tiptoes she squeezed tighter. "Thank you."

She didn't let go and was glad she waited. Stefan's own arms light placed themselves around her waist.

"Humanity's back?" she mumbled into him.

"No," he chuckled as they parted. "I can't let it all back in." She nodded.

Stefan raised an eyebrow as Sabrina didn't move. "Well?"

"Okay," she let out an audible deep breath. Turing to the body she wrapped her hand around the dagger and in one smooth movement pulled it out. "And now the waiting game begins."

Sabrina paced up and down the row of coffins not caring about the looks Stefan gave her every now and then. "You know; they say patience is a virtue."

She stopped pacing and looked over at him. "I don't know how much more patience I can give."

"It's gonna take a while."

"I know, and I'm not leaving here until he wakes up."

She didn't know if Stefan wanted her gone. Since ripper mode was activated he's been adamant on doing things alone. "Please don't make me leave."

He looked to be in thought for a while before nodding. She gave a sigh of relief.

"You're not just going to leave them in the house are you? It might take a while but Klaus will eventually find them." Now that she had permission to stay she felt comfortable asking.

"I've got that covered. Bonnie will be here soon, if you don't want to be seen being a part of this I'd suggest hiding," he said leaving the room.

"We need to find Stefan"

"You don't need a locator spell"

"What?"

"Witchy spirits aren't a big fan. And they use their juju to screw with my daylight ring!"

"Elena's on her way here," she informed Stefan while leaning against the basement wall.

"I'll deal with it. If you want to-"

"Hide, yeah, got it," she said turning around.

The coffins were now invisible. Still in view to Stefan and Sabrina. They lay in the room, all but one closed.

The conversation between Stefan and Elena was getting heated from what Sabrina could hear. She twirled the dagger in her hand as she listened in.

"You need to give Klaus his family back."

"Oh, really?" he questioned. "Is that what I need to do?"

"Klaus compelled Jeremy to stand in front of speeding car." She stayed quite but couldn't help but feel somewhat invloved. "Don't you get it? Stefan, he's not gonna stop until he gets what he wants."

"Elena, stop talking. I'm not giving Klaus anything."

"Are you listening to me? He's gonna kill Jeremy!"

"Not really my problem." The slap that followed echoed throughout the room

"Then you can go to hell!" Elena glowered, her footsteps indicated she was leaving.

Sabrina waited a few moments before stepping out from behind the wall. "Thank you not telling her I'm here," she mumbled.

"Don't thank me just yet, Damon's still here."

"Take it to a different room," she groaned. "Please." She was growing irritable as each minute ticked on.

Stefan smirked, the temperament was rarely seen in Sabrina. She frowned at him. "What?"

"Nothing," he tittered, waking around the room. "It's just who would have thought you of all people would go behind their back and stand here with me."

No humanity Stefan was back just as Sabrina was getting comfortable. "I guess you do have a selfish side after all."

Sabrina's eyes narrowed as they followed him to the door. "It's not selfish to put myself first for once. After everything I've given, I am entitled to have this." A new found confidence rang in her voice. "But that's not to say I don't care."

Stefan turned around, all glint of any kind of kindness he held gone. "And that's what makes you weak, Sabrina."

He didn't give her time to respond as he walked out and headed upstairs.

She looked back at Elijah who still lay motionless in the coffin. She sighed walking over to him. "Caring is not a weakness," she whispered playing with his hair. "How can it be, when it's the one thing that keeps us going?"

It was nightfall and Elijah showed no signs of stirring.

"Have a look," Stefan's voice called out from the entry way of the basement.

Sabrina moved behind the wall that divided the room

"What? Klaus is allergic to dust?"

Acknowledging Damon's voice, she walked into view. "No, but I might be if I'm in here any longer."

"What happened to doing this alone, brother?"

"I'm not part of this plan," she answered before he could.

"Hmm, well that's a change." He was still acting stubborn, she gathered that much from his tone. "So, what am I meant to be looking at, there's nothing here."

"Look again."

Damon looked around once more, his eyes widened as four coffins now filled the empty room.

"Witch spirits hate Klaus as much as we do. They're using their powers to hide the coffins," Stefan explained.

"So even if he comes in the house..." Damon mused.

"...he won't be able to find them."

While it was all good that the brothers were working together, Sabrina's knew this plan would have bad consequences. But right now, her focus was on something else or rather someone else.

It would all worth it, that's Sabrina had to remind herself. She was hungry and tired but she wasn't going to leave until Elijah woke up. Leaning against the wall she peered over to see if his complexion had changed.

"Don't bother. It won't open."

Stefan had let bonnie in. They both stood near the coffin on the other side of the wall.

"What do you mean?" Bonnie questioned. "Is it locked?"

"Nope. Just won't open. I've tried everything. Blow torch, axe, crowbar. Can't even scratch the finish."

"It's closed with a spell," Sabrina pipped in.

"The witches led me here for a reason. I think whatever is inside this coffin is our answer."

Sabrina sighed, pushing herself off the wall. "I can tell you what's in that coffin."
