Harry pushed the door and went inside.

"Will he be alright?" asked Sirius.

"There's nothing to worry if he follows the instructions that I told him," Raphael said as he turned to look at them. "I also wanted to convey a message to you, Amelia. It's regarding a matter of your department."

"What is it?" she asked looking at him.

"The Dark lord would appreciate it if you backed off," he said stepping back. Amelia's hand immediately reached for her wand but she realized she didn't have it. She had submitted it at the entrance when coming here.

It took a moment for both Sirius and Remus to understand what was going on but by then spells had started flying towards them. Raphael leapt towards Amelia, grabbed her and apparated away.

"NO!" Sirius said but before he could catch her she was gone. A spell hit his leg and he fell down, his knee bleeding. He cried in pain when his eyes fell on Remus who was standing still, looking ahead. "Remus?" Sirius called his name. He slowly looked at him as Sirius noticed his pupils were wide and there was a look of horror on his face.

He then heard footsteps as he looked towards where Remus was looking and saw a group of death eaters approaching them. So this was a trap, he realized. His mind was still at Amelia, wondering where Raphael had taken her, if that was even his real name. Disguising as an unspeakable was a very clever move. He then looked towards the door Harry had went into and wondered if he had also been apprehended in there. "Remus, help me!" he called out his friend but he got no response. He looked at the man just standing there and then followed his eyes towards the group at one certain person. It took no time for Sirius to realize why Remus was all quiet and unresponsive.

In the group of the death eaters stood Fenrir Greyback, the wanted werewolf and death eater, a member of Voldemort's inner circle and wanted on many charges, on top of which was biting many and many people and children to turn them into werewolves. Sirius remembered what Remus had told him and James about Fenrir back in the day as he looked at Remus once again.

The man looked at Sirius apologetically and as if against his will he started walking towards the group of death eaters. Nothing but Fenrir's laugh echoed in the corridor as Sirius kept calling for his friend, telling him to stop but Remus couldn't. Sirius started dragging himself after Remus in a desperate attempt to stop him. He kept calling him, trying as if it would somehow work.

"He won't listen to you, Black," Fenrir said grinning at him. "He's in the presence of his alpha. He will listen to no one but me."

"REMUS!" Sirius shouted loudly when a spell hit the wall behind Sirius just a few inches above his head and exploded, making the rubbles fall on him. Sirius covered his head with both his hands as the rubbles covered him entirely. A large chunk fell on his injured knee as his painful cry filled the corridor making the death eaters laugh in delight.

"He's about to come out," Sirius heard a hissing voice and stopped trying to get out of the rubbles. He knew that voice better than anything as a chill ran down his spine. He looked at the group of death eaters ignoring the pain and damage he'd suffered from the rubbles falling on him as the death eaters parted on either side to let a man walk over to the front. He stopped and looked down at Sirius as he removed his mask. Sirius' eyes widened as he looked into those red eyes.

"What a welcoming present," Voldemort said with a smile before turning back and walking towards is death eaters. "Bind him," he said. "The boy is about to come out now."

Before Sirius could shout trying to warn Harry or do something he felt the magical binds appear all over his body along with a silencing charm so he couldn't speak. His eyes widened in horror realizing that he would fail again. He'd failed to save his friends once before and now he was going to fail trying to save his best friend's son, his own godson.

He tried to free himself from the binds as much as he could and for a moment the adrenaline rush let him forget about his pain but then he received a solid punch from one of the death eaters on his face which broke his nose and at least one tooth. Another punch hit him in the ribs, breaking a few there as well while a kick landed on his wounded knee, breaking the joint as Sirius whimpered in pain, his eyes becoming wet and his body shivered.

The death eaters picked him up and walked away from the place but stayed in that corridor waiting for Harry to come out.

Sirius heard the door click open and wanted to scream with everything he had but couldn't when he saw a spell flew towards Harry who had barely emerged from the door. He ducked just in time as the spell went past him and hit the corridor's wall.

"Fool! The dark lord wants him alive!" one of the death eaters shouted grabbing Harry's attention. He still hadn't seen Sirius as Sirius smiled seeing Harry run away from the death eaters. But then another group emerged from the other side of the corridor blocking Harry's path as Voldemort made Harry aware of his presence.

Harry fumbled amongst the vials he had in his pocket when he found one he was looking for and removed its stopper and poured its content on Sirius' wounded knee. It won't fix the broken joint but at least it stopped the bleeding. He could've done more but unfortunately he didn't have his wand just like Sirius.

"Harry, look," Sirius said grabbing Harry's hand so as to stop him from pouring more potion on his wound as Harry looked at him and then followed his gaze. With everything happening he had forgotten that he had dragged them both to one of the rooms in DoM. The moment Harry had locked the door he had dragged Sirius to one corner and had begun tending to his wounds. He had completely forgotten to see where they were but now he was looking at it and he couldn't put his finger on what this place was.

They were in what seemed like a very huge, round hall with circular rows of desks and in the center was a very huge tank. It contained some sort of potion or was it water Harry couldn't put a finger on it but it was liquid and looked very mucky. He also noticed something floating inside it.

"What is this place?" Sirius asked looking around. "It looks like some sort of classroom."

"Are those brains?" Harry said narrowing his eyes trying to look at the tank more clearly. Suddenly the door burst open and without seeing Harry dragged Sirius under one of the desks.

Remus entered the room in his werewolf form looking around in confusion as to where he was when he seemed to have caught a scent as he looked in the direction where Sirius and Harry were hiding under one of the desks.

Sirius could try to distract Remus by turning himself into his animagus form but he wondered if he could do it in his current state. He was more worried about Harry and Amelia. As Remus closed in on them Harry grabbed one of the vials from his pocket and threw it away from them. It hit a few desks making sounds and grabbed Remus attention who leapt towards the sound's source jumping through the desks.

Harry quickly dragged Sirius while Remus desperately tried to figure out what it was that had made a sound just now. He was jumping on the desks, falling from them and sometimes breaking them trying to get close to the sound's source giving Harry and Sirius enough time and chance to drag themselves towards the tank.

It had storage compartments under the platform on which it was placed and Harry opened a few until he found an empty enough one. Luckily they were big enough to fit them both as Harry pulled himself and Sirius in it and closed the door.

They heard Remus going around in the room in his werewolf form trying to find them. He would howl from time to time followed by whimpers which sounded as if he was in pain. Sirius knew this better than Harry as he had seen Remus transform many times when they were students. Every full moon night he, Remus and James would go to the shrieking shack where they would turn into their animagus form while Remus would transform into his werewolf form.

It hurt them seeing him go through the transformation process as he would break almost every bone in his body and even after the transformation's completion, even after being so agile, strong and quick in his werewolf form he would still feel the pain from the transformation.

"How are we going to get out of here?" Harry asked.

"Even if we do somehow there's a bunch of death eaters and Fenrir waiting outside for us," Sirius said. "We stand no chance without our wands."

Harry started to think. "What do you think are in that tank above us?" he asked Sirius.

Sirius just shrugged. "What are you thinking?" he asked his godson.

"I may have found a wand while looking for a place to hide in one of these compartments," Harry said. "Do you know how long Remus can stay in his werewolf form like this?"

"It's hard to say," Sirius said. "This is the first time I am seeing him turn without being under the full moon. We have to stop Fenrir if we are going to stop Remus' rampage."

Harry seemed to be thinking for a while before he looked at his godfather. "Stay here," he said and before Sirius could do or say anything Harry got out of the compartment throwing another vial towards the door of the room so as to distract Remus. It was a success but unfortunately Remus saw him as he was heading towards the vial trying to see what it was and so changed directions.

Fortunately for Harry Remus in his werewolf form wasn't very agile jumping from desk to desk trying to get to him as he fell multiple times. His pace was slowed down even more by the desks falling over him.

Harry grabbed this opportunity looking for the wand he had apparently seen in one of the compartments under the tank's platform when he found it. It was just in time as Remus was near enough to land an attack. Harry turned around and cast a powerful air charm blowing Remus away from him.

The werewolf hit the wall on the far end of the room, whimpered slightly before falling on the ground as the desks which had also been flown away because of Harry's spell fell on him, trapping him under them. Because of their legs the desks were entwined with one another which Harry only tightened further by elongating their legs and entangling them with one another like wines of wood.

He then ran over to where Sirius was and quickly cast the healing spells he knew. They weren't much but anything was welcome in this situation. Sirius' wounds stopped bleeding as he looked at Harry. Since when had this boy grown so much, he thought as his godson helped him up.

Unfortunately Remus had had enough as he used his werewolf strength and tore through the desks, breaking them like they were made out of twigs as he jumped right in front of Harry and Sirius and looked at them for a moment.

His pupils were wide and hazy as if he was not in self-control. That was to be expected as Fenrir was the one controlling him. Remus brought his face closer to them, sniffing them both closely. Harry and Sirius stood motionless. Suddenly Remus moved his head back and howled. Sirius grabbed that opportunity by snatching the wand from Harry's hand and firing a knock-out spell at Remus. He knew he would have to fire more because werewolves had a good amount of tolerance for basic spells and since Sirius didn't want to hurt Remus he had to use basic spells on him so a simple knock-out spell he fired multiple times until it worked just enough for Remus to feel dazed for a moment but it was enough for Harry and Remus to get away from him.

While getting away Harry grabbed the round metal ball he found beside the tank and mashed it into it. It formed a small crack on the glass tank but then it began to spread. The spells on Remus had worn off by then as he leapt towards the two. Sirius followed Harry's move as he fired a blasting hex at the tank shattering it completely.

It was well aimed as the tank broke in the direction from where Remus was coming at them as its contents flew right at him stopping and taking him away from Sirius and Harry.

Remus began to thrash his limbs, howling and whimpering. "What was in the tank?" Harry asked.

"I don't know but it doesn't look good," Sirius said as he, too, saw Remus writhing in pain when they both noticed that the brains that were floating around in the tank, some of them had latched on to Remus like leeches.

"We have to help him," Harry said.

Sirius didn't need to be told that as he fired well-aimed spells at those brains which seemed to move on their own like fish out of water. As the spells hit them they detached from Remus' body and writhed before going motionless forever. Sirius quickly worked his way hitting all the brains that had latched onto Remus as the werewolf became still. He was whining slowly as he lay there on his back.

"Remus?" Sirius said. "Remus, I need you to listen to my voice. Can you recognize who I am?" The werewolf lay there whining as Sirius slowly started to walk towards him.

"Sirius, what are you doing?" Harry asked. "Your leg is injured. You can't outrun him if he decides to attack you!"

"Remus," Sirius said ignoring Harry. "Remus, it's me, Sirius."

Harry saw as Sirius slowly transformed into his animagus – a large black dog. Harry had never seen Sirius' animagus form before so this was an experience. The dog slowly walked over to the werewolf, whining near its face before licking it once. The werewolf looked at it for a moment before baring its teeth and suddenly standing up.

The dog stepped back as fast as it could but because of its damaged leg it wasn't fast enough as the werewolf hit it hard sending the dog flying towards the desks. Sirius whined in his animagus form and Harry knew he was hurt badly. Unfortunately he didn't have time to go after his godfather as Remus was now looking at him.

Sirius also had the wand with him so Harry was without anything that could help him in the situation. He slowly started to step back as the werewolf slowly closed the distance between them. Sirius seemed to have lost consciousness as there seemed to be no movement from where he had fallen.

"Remus?" Harry said slowly. "Try to remember, Remus. Think! This is not you. Try to overcome this." Unfortunately none of that worked as Remus kept closing in on Harry who slowly kept stepping back when he stepped on something squishy.

Harry looked down for a moment and saw he had stepped on one of those brains. It was moving under his foot, trying to get out when another one came and latched on him from the other side. The moment it latched itself on Harry he felt a tremendous amount of shock all throughout his body. It was like those spasms he'd felt after Voldemort's cruciatus curse, only this was worse.

Harry fell on the floor, his body jolting in shock after shock from the brains while Remus quickened his pace. As he was about to deal a fatal blow to Harry with his claws a desk came flying and hit him on his head. Remus yelped before looking towards the direction.

Sirius had returned back to his normal human form and was wielding the wand towards Remus. Another one of those desks moved and hit Remus making him back away from Harry. He howled in anger before leaping towards Sirius who attacked with multiple desks at him causing Remus to fall mid-air on the floor before Sirius quickly cast binds all over him to stop him from moving. He then followed with Harry's idea and summoned a few desks and animated them to wrap around Remus just like Harry had done before. Only this time there were more desks for Remus to deal with.

"Harry!" Sirius ran over to his godson once he was done with Remus for the time being and quickly blasted away those brains clinging on to him as he raised Harry's head on his lap. "Harry, wake up!" he said. "Enervate!" Sirius said but nothing happened. "Enervate! Enervate!" he kept casting the enervation charm but Harry wouldn't wake up. His pulse was still there but since Sirius didn't know what those brain things were, he was worried if something bad had happened to Harry.

It was then that he heard the rummaging of the desks he had wrapped Remus with as with a deafening howl Remus broke those desks and the magical binds off of him. Sirius noticed he was bleeding from a few spots on his body and he also looked tired but Sirius wondered if he could stop Remus alone. He looked at Harry who was still unconscious before carefully putting his head down and standing up. He gripped the wand tightly as he looked at Remus with rage-filled eyes.

"I am sorry that I am about to do this," he said slowly looking at Remus, "even though you are my friend. But you need to BACK OFF!" Leaving all sanity behind Sirius leapt at Remus firing a barrage of slicing hexes at him. The werewolf dodged most of them with its agility but caught some on his abdomen and leg and fell down. Sirius didn't let go as he continued firing those spells at him. Because of his naturally strong immunity towards the spells Remus was barely being affected by those slicing hexes but still whichever of those spells hit him they made a small cut on his body and those cuts burned.

He howled in pain and anger as he leapt at Sirius, grabbing him by his neck and his wand arm as Remus lifted him up in the air and looked at him closely. Sirius could see the rage in his eyes but he also didn't miss the glint of regret and that caught him off-guard for a moment as Remus pulled his wand arm with a jerk separating it from his torso.

Sirius let out a painful cry as blood splattered from his torn arm everywhere. His vision became blurry and along with the pain from his previous wounds he started to feel dizzy. Remus looked at his torn arm for a moment before throwing it far off on to the other end of the room. He then focused on Sirius again who was barely hanging on his own, trying to stay awake. He knew if he lost consciousness now Harry would die. Unfortunately nothing came to his mind when he thought how he could stop Remus. The wand was gone and so was one of his hands and he could barely stay awake when he heard one of the desks behind him move on the floor. He didn't know what was happening but he didn't miss the look of surprise and somewhat horror in Remus' eyes.

Remus dropped him there on the floor as Sirius fell. Because it was all of a sudden his left leg was opened a bit which bent with a nasty pop in an odd angle breaking his knee joint. Both his legs were broken. Sirius was in too much pain from losing his arm and barely conscious that he couldn't even scream. He had lost too much blood and was still losing it and didn't know how long he could stay awake but as he closed in towards losing his consciousness he saw Harry walking towards Remus slowly. He didn't miss the dark aura surrounding his godson and those red eyes when Harry looked at him for a moment before focusing his attention on Remus.

Sirius also noticed how his black aura had formed the shape of a large clawed arm on Harry's left hand which he used to block Remus' attack as if it was nothing. There was a growl and Sirius felt tremendous amount of pressure suddenly all over the room as he saw Harry land one hit which sent Remus flying over to the other side of the room. He hit the wall and slumped down out cold.

The last thing Sirius saw before losing consciousness was Harry turning and walking towards him, looking at him with those red eyes.

Fenrir felt something wasn't right as he looked at the door where Harry, Sirius and Remus were. Due to his connection with Remus he had felt the attack that his beta had taken just now and couldn't believe something that powerful and suppressing. He felt the aura outside in the corridor and was sure other death eaters with him also felt it as well.

"What is this feeling?" one of the death eaters said. "It's like I am about to die!"

The other death eaters looked around with worry. Fenrir, however, had his attention focused towards the room from where that aura was emanating from. The department of mysteries was known for having things no one had ever seen before or could explain so it was possible that something in that room had attacked Remus. Due to his link with him Fenrir knew that Sirius was barely alive. However, he could not sense the boy.

He had specifically told Remus not to harm the boy but it seemed as if in his rage and uncontrollability Remus had went ahead and done it. It made sense as this was the first time when Remus was being controlled by his alpha. He walked forward, Fenrir, towards the door which had been burst open by Remus not long ago when he stopped.

His sharp ears caught a faint sound of someone's footsteps. It was slow as if the person was dragging one of his legs or carrying some heavy load. He signaled the death eaters to be ready as they all pointed their wands at the door. "Don't kill the boy," Fenrir said even though he didn't know if Harry was even alive as he couldn't sense him through Remus. However, he did sense that Remus had turned back to his human form and was unconscious.

It was then that someone emerged from the door into the corridor and Fenrir could not believe what he saw. The boy was holding both Sirius and Remus on his shoulders while looking menacingly at him. There was something different about him. Fenrir didn't miss that the suppressing aura he and the others were feeling only increased as his eyes widened with shock realizing that it was coming from the boy.

Harry, however, took a look at him and the rest of the death eaters before disappearing from there.

"Whe…Where did he go?" asked one of the death eaters.

Fenrir stood there looking at the spot where Harry was a moment ago. The boy had not apparated away or had used a portkey. He had just disappeared in an instant. He had only seen one other person do that before. One other person who could disappear in and out of even heavily warded places like it was nothing. That person was Grindelwald.

Fenrir knew he had to inform the dark lord about this new discovery. The boy was dangerous. He had sensed and accepted it the moment he had felt that deathly aura coming off of him. But would his master accept that as well? The dark lord had specifically instructed them to bring the boy alive. Fenrir wondered how it was going to go. But one thing was for sure – it wouldn't be pleasant.
