Reviews:

Hi, normally I write a response to some reviews here but for some reason the reviews for the last chapter aren't coming up. So not today, sorry.

Chapter 39 -

While Padfoot was busy distracting and/or maiming the Asgardian guards, the rest of the group had arrived at the next meeting point where they found Volstagg standing outside a crashed ship that the dark elves had used when they attacked Asgard.

"Oh, I'm glad you are all okay," Volstagg smiled at them. "Come on, you will need to hurry."

"Thank you my friend." Thor nodded at him as he shook Volstagg's hand, Sif nodded as she walked past him. Jane gave him a smile and Volstagg gave her a big one, though when Loki tried to walk past Volstagg stopped him by placing the head of his axe against Loki's chest.

"If you even think about trying to betray him..." Volstagg began, only to be interrupted.

"Let me guess, you will kill me?" Loki drawled in an amused voice. "Evidently there will be a line. He's first." Loki added as he gestured behind him to Harry, who actually nodded in agreement.

"Yep," Harry says as he pushed Loki forward towards the ship. "good luck," Harry said to Volstagg. "remember, use your padding." Harry patted him on the stomach before walking onto the ship before Volstagg could respond. The doors closed a second later.

"Woof." Padfoot barked as he appeared next to Harry, no longer in his battle mode.

"What took you so long?" Harry asked before turning to Thor. "Thor, you're not going end up breaking something, are you?"

"I won't break anything." Thor rolled his eyes before pressing a button at random, when nothing happened he pressed another.

"I thought you said you knew how to fly this thing." Loki said to Thor, his voice had a hint of worry in it.

"I said 'how hard could it be?'" Thor reminded him just before they could hear the sound of fighting outside.

"Well whatever you are doing, I'd recommend doing it faster." Loki said.

"He's right," Harry agreed. "Volstagg's padding isn't going to last forever."

"Both of you shut up." Thor said in an irritated voice, his mood was not helped by the fact that the ship was still not moving.

"You must have missed something." Loki guessed.

"Like an instruction manual." Harry added.

"I haven't missed anything, I'm pressing every button on this thing." Thor replied.

"Well that sounds very sophisticated." Harry rolled his eyes.

"Don't hit it, just press it gently." Loki instructed as if he was instructing Thor on how to use a game console controller.

"I am pressing it gently! It's not working!" Thor growled as he slammed the controls which, surprisingly, caused it to start working. "Ha ha!" Thor said triumphantly, grinning as he started the ship. It powered up and rose into the air.

"You know when you have a voice in your head that tells you that something is a very, very bad idea?" Harry spoke to Sif.

"Yes." She nodded.

"I can hear that voice." Harry said just before Thor flew the ship out of the building, smashing into several columns as he did so.

"I think you may have possibly missed a column." Loki couldn't help himself.

"What happened to not breaking anything?" Harry asked.

"Yes, yes thank you for you help, now shut up." Thor said sarcastically as he flew the ship out of the building. Thor flew it at the fastest speed he could, this was good but had the unintended effect of damaging many buildings at the same time.

"Look, why don't you let me take over, I'm clearly the better pilot." Loki said after Thor smashed through another building.

"Really? Out of the two of us who can actually fly?" Thor countered.

"Are they always like this?" Harry asked Sif.

"No," She shook her head. "they're usually worse." Any further response was cut off by Jane falling to the ground.

"Jane?" Thor asked as Sif and Harry made their way to Jane.

"Oh, is she dead?" Loki asked curiously just as Harry and Sif kneeled down next to her.

"She's fine." Harry said as he looked her over. "For now at least, we might want to hurry up Thor."

"Not a word." Thor said to Loki after accidently destroying some more buildings.

"Now they're following us." Loki said when Asgardian ships began chasing them. "Now they're firing at us!" He added after the ship had been hit by several blasts from the chasing ships, though it was thankfully still flying.

"Yes, thank you for the commentary Loki!" Thor said through gritted teeth. "It's not at all distracting!" Thor said just as the ship sliced through a large statue.

"Well done, you just decapitated your grandfather." Loki commented.

"Oh shit, really?" Harry asked, trying and failing to hide his amusement.

"The Allfather is not going to like that." Sif said in a pained voice.

"Could be worse." Harry shrugged.

"You know this is wonderful," Loki said sarcastically as he glared at Thor. "this a tremendous idea. Let's steal the biggest and most obvious ship in the universe and escape in that, flying round the city and smashing into everything in sight so that everyone can see us!" He ranted, not noticing the side door opening up behind him. "It's brilliant Thor! Truly brilliant!" Loki's impressive rant was cut off by Thor pushing him out of the ship.

"You didn't tell him about this part of the plan?" Harry laughed.

"Of course I didn't." Thor admitted with a grin as he put the ship on auto pilot, he went over to pick up Jane before jumping out of the side of the door and landing on a small chariot that Fandral was piloting.

"Hold tight." Harry said as he wrapped an arm around Sif's waist before flying himself and Sif out of the ship, during the flight Sif had instinctively wrapped her arms around Harry's neck, when they landed on the chariot she had realized what she had done after Harry let her go, she quickly let go of him and turned away so he couldn't see the blush on her face.

"I see your time in the dungeons have made you no less graceful, Loki." Fandral said mockingly to Loki who was lying face first in front of him. Loki stood up and ignored him.

"You lied to me," Loki said to Thor while Padfoot appeared next to Harry. "I'm impressed." He admitted, having never suspected Thor of all people to be able to lie to him.

"I'm glad your pleased, now do as you promised and take us to your secret passage." An unamused Thor replied as he gently placed Jane down.

"Very well." Loki said before he took over the controls, a grin appeared on his face as he did so.

"Fandral." Thor said when he saw a chariot flying behind them and shooting at them.

"For Asgard." Fandral said just as he jumped off the chariot on to the other chariot and began fighting the Asgardians on the chariot.

"Excuse me for a sec." Harry said as he aimed his aimed his wand at another chariot that was chasing behind them, Harry had quickly shot it down, causing it to crash into the sea. He was able to take down two more after that.

"Loki!" Sif said with an alarmed expression when she saw the Loki was driving the chariot straight at a mountain.

"Brother!" Thor said.

"If it were easy then everybody would do it." Loki grinned.

"Are you mad?!"

"Probably." Loki nodded.

"Can't you go faster than this?" Harry asked, surprising everyone.

"You want him to go faster?!" Sif repeated with disbelief.

"I want to go much faster." Harry said, though he was speaking to Loki when he did so. "Move it!"

"Very well wizard." Loki's grin got wider and increased the speed of the chariot.

"Are you mad?!" Sif hissed.

"Look there." Harry calmly gestured to the small passageway in the mountain, Sif looked at it for a second before realization hit her. The chariot entered the passage, the sides scratched the side and the passengers hoped that the chariot didn't break, the sparks coming from it didn't help ease their fears. All of a sudden they were blinded by a flash of several colors, just like when travelling through the Bifrost.

A few seconds later the chariot arrived in a new world, bumping off the ground as it landed before sliding a short distance away.

"Ta da." Loki drawled in a bored voice, though it was clear that he was rather proud of himself. Harry and the others looked around, this world was definitely not like Asgard. Barely any sunlight thanks to the huge army of clouds in the air, dead bodied littered around a land of black sand. It looked like a whole dessert had been dipped in dark magic.

"Well, we're here at least." Sif commented as she looked around. "I am sorry for doubting you." She added to Harry, looking embarrassed.

"It's fine." Harry waved her off.

"Do I get an apology or a thank you?" Loki asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No." Harry and Sif said at the same time.

Harry wasn't sure how long they had spent flying, the sky hadn't changed at all, everyone sat in an uncomfortable silence. Sif was sitting still, glancing between everyone when she wasn't looking around at the horrible world they had found themselves in. Loki was also glancing between people as he didn't really need to focus on the controls much seeing as there wasn't really anything that they could crash into and they were flying in one direction. Thor on the other hand was caring for Jane who was sleeping on the opposite end of the chariot to Loki.

Harry was simply sat opposite Sif, one hand was petting Padfoot who was sitting next to him, his other hand was twirling his wand, ready to use it at a moment's notice. Nobody was saying anything as the ship flew over a collection of dead bodies and ships.

"What I could do with the power that runs through her veins." Loki broke the silence when he saw Thor place a blanket over Jane.

"I suppose it's a good thing that you're never going to get it then," Harry responded before Thor could. "you couldn't handle that type of power."

"She's doing well," Loki gestured to Jane. "for now at least." He added.

"She's far more worthy of that power than you are." Harry replied.

"Please," Loki scoffed. "this frail, mortal woman?"

"What is it with you non-immortals forgetting that you are mortal?" Harry rolled his eyes. "If I cut your head off - don't tempt me - you would be dead, the same way if I cut your throat."

"Are you saying you wouldn't be?" Loki sneered at him. Harry didn't respond immediately, he instead aimed his wand at his throat. He applied a spell to stop pain before sending a small cutting curse at his throat. Loki's eyes widened just as Sif gasped before she and Thor stood up, only to stop when they saw it heal and after the dripping blood returned back into Harry's throat. Padfoot let out a small whine as he sadly shook his head.

"I'm a true immortal," Harry said to Loki. "so trust me when I say that you are not worthy of the powers you have, or even the powers you want. What you are Loki, is a spoilt brat."

"What?!" Loki snapped out of his shock. "How dare you talk to me like that?!" He demanded as he got to his feet.

"I dare," Harry said as he stood up and walked towards Loki. "you are an idiot."

"I will not be insulted by you!" Loki hissed. "You judge me when I know what you are! I know all about you, 'army killer'!"

"Watch...your...tone." Harry said in a low but threating as he took another step closer to Loki, Harry's eyes flashed briefly, Loki took a step back before he could stop himself. "Do you remember that spell I used on you?" Harry asked. "The one that caused you severe pain."

"What of it?" Loki stiffly replied.

"The first time I ever experienced that curse was when I was fourteen years old," Harry said, surprising Loki. "and at the time it was placed on me by a man who was considered the most powerful wizard alive. And I have experienced it more times than I can count. You think you know pain? No...I know pain. I get that you think that you have suffered more than anyone else but you haven't."

"I..."

"No," Harry cut him off. "this is where you zip it, the adults are talking."

"I am older." Loki mumbled.

"I am more violent," Harry said in a warning voice. "from what I understand your whole thing is that you didn't get to be king and Odin lied about your heritage. I get why the last one angers you, when I was a kid they wanted me to fight in a war but weren't willing to give me more information than they felt was necessary. If I learnt that I was adopted and was a frost giant then I could admit that I'd probably get destructive but I wouldn't kill innocent people just because I was angry, even at my worst I never intentionally went out and killed innocent people. As for not being king...boo fucking hoo, asshole. There's a prince in England who is likely to die from old age before becoming king.

When my parents died I was sent to people who turned me into their personal slave, they beat if they felt like it and even for fun. They starved me, they degraded me, they fed me false truths, saying my parents were drunk criminals! Which was not funny when I had learnt that they sacrificed themselves to save me from the most dangerous dark lord of all time! Odin, despite all his faults, does care for you, I can tell. He could have killed you, left you to die but he didn't. He took you in, kept you fed and educated and happy and healthy. He found you a mother who cared for you as if you were her own. As far as I am concerned, you hit the fucking jackpot." Harry said as he shoved Loki who fell into his seat, staring at Harry with widened eyes. "You listen to me now," Harry hissed as he kneeled down and looked Loki in the eye. "Odin should not have kept your heritage from you, I agree with that, he should have told you. But despite that, you had a family.

There are children that will everyday find themselves abused, struck, starved, tortured, made into slaves and sometimes even killed by those responsible for caring for them. You were lucky to not be one of them, because with your life span I can guess that the suffering would last a very long time.

You want to be a king but I don't think that you would be good one, because if you can't care for your own family then what hope do you have for caring for the hundreds of people living in Asgard? You don't think Odin cares about you? Fine, what about Frigga and Thor? Because you kill a part of them everyday because of your actions, how do you think Frigga feels? Huh? You don't care about the pain she suffered when she heard that her son not only invaded another world, killing hundreds of innocent people, but also ended up in prison? Thor, despite his claims, is holding out hope for you." Harry paused long enough to let Loki look at Thor, who met his gaze with a straight face, showing no emotion. "You don't even care about your family, why should we let you be put in charge of kingdom? I do not doubt that you have suffered, and I do not doubt that what happened was a big deal to you, but stop tormenting your family and innocent people for Odin's mistake." Harry huffed before sitting down in his seat.

Padfoot let out a small whine and placed his head on Harry's lap, allowing Harry to pet him. Thor looked saddened, and like he didn't know what to say. Loki's face was changing through several emotions before he eventually shifted into a blank and emotionless look. Sif on the other hand was looking at Harry as if she had seen him for the first time, she felt like saying something but in that moment did not know what to say.

"Jane." Thor said when he saw her wake up. But Jane didn't respond, it seemed like she had not even noticed Thor, she wasn't even looking at him. The group all looked towards where she was looking and saw a large black ship descending, it was probably the largest of all of the ships the dark elves had.

"Three guesses as to who that would be." Harry said as he stands up and rolls his shoulders.

"Malekith." Thor said, a small growl in his voice.

"Are you sure this plan of yours will work?" Sif asked Thor.

"It has to." Thor nodded.

Thor, Loki and Jane walked along the black sandy floor of this dark world, ignoring the harsh and unforgiving cold. They stopped on the top of a hill, looking down at the dark elves that had exited from the ship. Thor recognized two of them, one was the black armored creature that had tried to kill Frigga, the other was Malekith. Thor noted that half of Malekith's face was burnt, that would have brought a smile to his face if not for the seriousness of the situation.

"Are you ready?" He asked Jane and Loki.

"I am," Loki said as he and Thor looked down at the elves that were calmly walking towards them before stopping a short distance away from them. "you do know that your plan is more than likely going to get us killed?" Loki asked.

"Yes, probably." Thor nodded, knowing it was very likely for them to end up dead or even injured.

"If you wouldn't mind." Loki extended his hands towards Thor, clearly asking for the handcuffs to be removed. "Really?" Loki asked when he saw Thor look reluctant to do so. "You still don't trust me brother?" He asked in a hurt voice.

"Would you?" Thor asked even though he did remove the handcuffs.

"No," Loki said as he turned away, his face shifting into a grin. "No I wouldn't." Loki quickly turned back and pulled out a knife before stabbing Thor in the gut, he removed the knife and shoved Thor down the hill and chased after him.

"Thor!" Jane called as Loki went after him, she followed and rushed down the hill, chasing after the two.

"You really think that I cared about Frigga? About any of you?!" Loki angrily demanded as he walked up to Thor and kicked him in the face when he tried to get up. "All I ever wanted was you and Odin dead at my feet!" He spat.

Thor tried to summon his hammer to his hand but Loki reacted quickly and cut his hand off, causing Thor to scream in pain just as Jane reached him. She wasn't able to do anything as she was immediately grabbed by Loki who stopped her from getting too close to him.

"Malekith!" Loki said when the elves had walked up to them. "I am Loki of Jotunheim, and I have brought you a gift!" Loki tossed Jane at Malekith's feet, Malekith's face was blank, as if this all was uninteresting. "I ask for one thing in return, a good seat to watch Asgard burn!" Loki growled. The black creature whispered something to Malekith's ear, Malekith walked over to Thor who was still writhing in pain and kicked him on to his stomach.

"Look at me." Malekith said to Thor, Malekith raised his right hand. Jane was pulled into the air against her will, her arms spread out and her body froze. The Aether began pouring out of her body, Thor took a quick look at everyone and saw that they were all suitably distracted. He waited for a few more seconds and saw that the Aether was now out of Jane.

"Loki! Now!" Thor yelled, Loki dispelled his illusion at a lightning speed. The removal of the illusion revealed Thor still had his hand, Thor summoned Mjolnir to his hand. The dark elves were ready to do something when back up had arrived.

Sif quickly rushed in-between the dark elves along with Padfoot who was in his battle mode, the former killing with her sword and bashing with her shield while Padfoot resorted to ripping out throats or ripping off whatever he sink his teeth into. Harry was hovering over them, wearing his armor, and shooting down on the dark elves. Thor aimed his hammer at the Aether and sent a powerful lightning blast at it, Harry decided to help him since it looked like Sif and Padfoot were handling the dark elves, Harry aimed his wand at the Aether and sent another lightning blast. Undoubtedly not as powerful as Thor's but still very powerful.

A few seconds passed, a hint of doubt creeped into Harry and Thor when suddenly the Aether exploded.

A.N: I was going to have the Kurse fight this chapter but have decided to save it for the next chapter, also want to just think a bit longer on which way I'm going to play Loki. Thanks for reading, feel free to leave a review.

Omake 1 :

"I'm driving." Steve says as he and Tony walk towards the car with Harry following behind them.

"Shotgun." Harry said.

"But you had it on the way here." Tony reminded him as he and Steve turned around, only to jump back when they saw what was in Harry's hands.

"No, I found this shotgun. And I want the front seat." Harry added when he pointed the gun at Tony.

Omake 2:

"Guys, this is Morgan Stark." Tony smiled as he introduces everyone to baby Morgan, everyone says hello to her until Harry walks up to her. He bends down so he can look at her properly, she let's out a small laugh before reaching up and grabbing his nose. "Isn't that adorable?" Tony laughed.

"Yes." Harry answers once Morgan releases him, he takes Morgan out of Tony's hands and walks away.

"Harry? Harry? Harry, give me back Morgan."

"No, mine now."

Omake 3:

Morgan was currently sat in the headmaster's office, the headmaster was in front of her and on her right was the girl that bullied her and that girls mother.

"Right, this meeting will start as soon as one of Morgan's parents or guardians arrive." The headmaster said, he would have said more but found himself interrupted when the door got knocked down. Everyone jumped in their seats and watched as Harry entered in his grim outfit, a glowing wand in one hand a big ass sword in the other.

"Alright, what's this about someone bullying Morgan?" Harry asks as he twirls his wand while Morgan grinned.

Omake 4:

"I've going to kill you!" Harry yells as he charges forward only to get backhanded a long distance away, he recovers quickly and charges again, only for the same thing to happen. This continued for several minutes.

"Daughter of a bitch! I've got you this time!" Harry says only to be thrown back again.

"He's quite persistent." Hela commented after sending Harry flying away again.

"You have no idea." Loki replied.
