Panicking wasn't much of an option right now, I knew that but even the System subduing it wasn't much help. My plan right now was doing fine but one slip up on anyone's end could result in death.
Megumin could blow up her allies on accident.
Kaminari could get overwhelmed when he runs out of Mana.
Metagross could falter and become overwhelmed by the hordes.
I could fail to spot in oncoming Zombie and let Bruce die.
Things were going to fast, we weren't ready for this.

What the frick.
I blacked out their for a second, I was thinking about what I should do right now. That better not become a problem later on, developing dementia would be bad for a strategist. The headache I have now too also isn't helping.
This situation was really stressful, I probably should think of something fast. The plan I made should do for now but getting my full forces over to the Zombies trying to come in is my top priority. I appeared to be lying on the ground right now, maybe the System decided to do a kind of update. Not much time seemed to have passed as the Moon is only a little ahead of where I remember it being.
Questions for later.
Team check time. Bruce has been doing pretty good so far, minimal injuries that only drained him a little with me watching his back. Kaminari was a bit worse but can hold on for long enough I think. Metagross and his team were doing the worst with some losses and a couple nuggets worth of Iron being chipped off Metagross, his healing needing Iron now due to his Class. He was in the most current danger as he had to fact the Raid Zombies head on to buy us time to take out the smaller group inside the base.
Bruce was doing a good job but we still had some 50 Zombies left on Kaminari's tail. The Acid Zombies were much less of a priority then the regular ones, them being slow and all. I can't imagine having 20 on your tail though, it would be akin to a wall of acid always coming for you. Luckily this was more of a scout kind of thing with only two of them, both being preoccupied with Kaminari drawing aggro.
Megumin would definitely be the best one to deal with them, explosions and all. But for that we need to get rid of the other Zombies trying to get in and for that we need to bring Kaminari over there so he can stun them all. But for that we need to get someone else to draw their aggro. It would be quite easy for me with my mobility but I need to watch Bruce's back to make sure he doesn't get taken out. And for Bruce to be safe we need to take out the Zombies on the inside, basically that was a roundabout way to say that we need to keep doing what were doing but better. I should've recruited more Generals and other soldiers, Skeletons would've been great right about now. Id even take Spiders at this rate, the Generals might've had an AOE sticky web thing that could make the Zombies sitting ducks.
With all my complaining and thought process we, Bruce, took out about half of the remaining Zombies. This would be a great thing except for the fact that Metagross isn't doing too well, his fragments he's lost have become more numerous and bigger. The other soldiers are doing even worse, the other Iron Golem has lost an arm and the Zombie Soldiers have suffered even more losses which has brought down their numbers to around 10. We wouldn't make it at this rate, a decision was going to have to be made. The enemy Zombie causalities must be high enough were they are starting to run out of steam, Metagross and his team must've taken out at least 100 by now. My guestimate was that the original Herd was around 500 but if this is just a Squad or scout team I must be wrong, them being mostly covered by Dark Forest Tree's has to have been covering their true numbers.
I was going to have to take Kaminari's place.
I quickly acted upon this decision and sent over Kaminari to Metagross while I took his place. My only hope to match Kaminari's mobility would be staying above the Zombies with my Vaulting Boots, Mana should last long enough as hanging out with Bruce let it regenerate enough to get back to full. Consequences be dammed I had to do this, Kaminari would soon take control of the field with his Skill. The running Zombies would become fish in a barrel to Metagross, and co, with his LD Thunder. I only had moments to have peace in the sky before the Zombies started towering up to me in the sky like before, this time I had less reservations about spending Mana so I jumped away from my position to land on another air platform. Bruce had redoubled his effort to take them out with the final plan in motion, I had him be careful to avoid the Acid Zombies. They were stuck to the ground, as I guessed they can't climb the other Zombies due to their corrosive pro-
Frick, they almost got me.
I had 7 jumps left, a quick look over at Kaminari confirmed that the Zombies were easy pickings to his Skill. The shortened time length became pointless as he gave them no break and zoomed around to crush them. I look back down to see how many left are in the inside group, around 10 now. I relax a little as they struggle to climb up to reach me now, I do have a sense of foreboding now though. Soon enough I get a danger emission through my attachment with Bruce, I snap my head in his direction.
Hes being targeted by the Acid Zombies, that's not the bad news though.
Bad news is that they've entered their Phase 2 Boss Mode, now they are starting to throw the acid.
Bruce has also lost an arm.

Chapter 24 Guest:Holy heck, my first long review. Before I even start talking about it I do want to give my appreciation about writing the whole thing, like seriously thank you. Starting from the top thanks for the compliment about my choice of conflict, army versus army seemed to be the best choice for this. It seems a little wasteful to have 100 enemies all trying to attack one dude, AOE Skill would be rendered useless and even dangerous to close range fighters. I do have to admit that 90% of my Milestone Rewards are ripped straight from Media so you are right with the unoriginality but don't worry about the Hat getting no use. I do have plans for it. Definitely is actually one of the few words I can't write quickly so I do usually use autocorrect to spell it write but I will now try to spell it right the first time now that you've told me about these typos. I can't say much about the chapters running together except that I will try to improve my writing, also please don't hold back on criticisms just because I'm a first time writer. I can, probably, take it. Thanks for the compliment, I see my update schedule as something that helps me stand out from the crowd. I've said this before, I think, but I find that the only way to get people to want to read your stuff is if you have a unique something about it.
