Chapter 33
Brooke walked through Tree Hill Enterprises office door. Walking through the main hallway stopping at the front of her husband's office door. She turned the knob and walked right inside.
Brooke closed the door behind herself and walked further into the room. It was large, full of natural light and awards and family photos decoracted the walls.
Lucas smiled at happy grin in her direction.
"This was a nice surprise. Spending my lunch hour with my amazing, stunningly beautiful wife will make the remaining hours here fly by." Lucas said. Wrapping his arms around her as he kissed her gently.
Brooke kissed him back. Eventually the two pulled apart.
Before she could get too distracted Brooke pulled out her phone.
"I bought lunch. That chicken sandchich and french fry combo you love at that hole in the wall resturant you always take Jonah and Jamie too." Brooke said.
"Thanks babe. You didn't come here just eat and catch up did you.?" Lucas asked.
"No i didn't. I came here to talk with you alone about. The research i've been doing. In regards to us growing our family. I know i said i was done and couldn't imagine putting myself or you through that again but. After looking into these options i'm feeling excited and hopeful for the first time in years." Brooke said.
Lucas reached over taking ahold of her phone in his hands and began to read about the possible choices.
intrauterine insemination (IUI) Healthy sperm is collected and inserted directly into your uterus when you're ovulating.
in vitro fertilization (IVF) Eggs are taken from your ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab, where they develop into embryos.
Lucas took a deep breath and looked back at her.
"I would say the method we should use. Is intrauterine insemination. Along with the use of donor eggs. Because that way you could be pregnant and give birth. There's a 50 percent success rate. You're egg quality was low. That was one of our main problems. I'm in if you are." Lucas said.
"No! I want us to have a baby together but i want it to be ours.!" Brooke exclaimed.
"That isn't possible." Lucas said.
