Whatever It Takes

Chapter Forty Eight

Kyuubi looked over Itachi's shoulder, curious as to what had his attention.

He felt bad for him when he noticed that the man seemed to be reading one of those forsaken journals. Journals he himself had read before due to Naruto's abilities to get pregnant and bare children. The worse thing in the world that King Minato could have ever made him read. But, according to Minato these were the best recorded accounts that had to do with the male pregnancy. He believed it would be best to read them to better prepare them for the future.

The red haired man rolled his golden eyes as he remembered reading the bunch of bull that didn't even prepare him for the real deal. The real issue was that male pregnancy was so rare, and Naruto and Sasuke were probably the first ones to actually fall in love with other men. It was interesting, how things worked out that way.

"I can tell you right now, they flowered up the language quite a bit there." Kyuubi sighed heavily as he took a seat next to Itachi, groaning in relief to be off his feet. "Man it's been a long day," he murmured, stretching himself against the chair.

Itachi glanced towards Kyuubi, before nodding in agreement. "Hey, yeah, I can tell. They don't ever seem to get to the point." Itachi responded, flipping to the next page. He was already frustrated that none of the journals had answered any of the questions that he had. He feared that if he couldn't help Sasuke during the birth, they would have to really come clean to everyone about it. Come to think of it, how far along was Sasuke…?

Kyuubi muttered a 'yup' and then silence took over. Kyuubi watched as Itachi flipped from page to page his eyes moving quickly over the page in front of him. He seemed to devour whatever was written and flip to the next page, almost a little too quick for Kyuubi to comprehend. Just watching him was making him dizzy. He had to wonder if Itachi was even reading what was written. His eyes then turned to the pile of books beside Itachi, every book looking like it had already been discarded.

"Wait, how many have you read?" Kyuubi asked, perplexed. He was sure that the books had been given to Itachi today. It took him a whole month to get through all of them.

"I'm on the last one, I have yet to read anything useful on how to prepare with Sasuke during a pregnancy, they don't even say anything about the birth." Itachi flicked his eyes over to Kyuubi to find the man gaping at him in wonder. It took him a second to realize that Kyuubi had already gone through this as well. "Wait…they haven't written an account for you and Naruto… how was your experience with the pregnancy?" Itachi asked.

"Ah…oh, it was fairly simple I guess." Kyuubi shrugged, still in awe with the Uchiha, "Naruto had the worst of it to be honest," Kyuubi responded. "He was so needy, and clingy. He begged for sex above all, and yeah it took us some time to figure out that he was pregnant. Naruto himself didn't say that he felt any different to indicate that he was pregnant either, Although Tsunade says that's normal for the first time." Kyuubi frowned. "I believe the hardest part was how much Naruto had his body change, and even now he won't let me near him so we can,… have sex." the red head had the decency to blush as he admiated that.

"What do you mean by the changes?" Itachi asked, his mind already running through the possibilities of child birth that Sasuke would face. He felt scared for his little brother, mainly because both of them were not prepared for any of this. Already he knew that Sasuke had not fully realized that he was pregnant, only had a hunch which in itself was a good start. But, the changes, what did they mean?

"It's hard to say," Again Kyuubi looked uncertain, like he himself didn't fully comprehend those changes. "It's natural, but the trauma is in the pain and Naruto himself can't forget the birth at least that is what he tells me. There's nothing different, nothing special if he had been female," Kyuubi said. "I guess it's a bit weird comparing Naruto to a girl in the prospect of giving birth, but that's just how it really is."

Itachi's eyes widen as Kyuubi then graphically explained the whole birthing process as he experienced it. Itachi knew how females gave birth, could even comprehend exactly what happened to their bodies, but this was just beyond the imagination…

"How is that possible?" Itachi breathed, left in awe after Kyuubi was done explaining what he knew. Everything that he had learned, knew, and understood was suddenly being questioned in his own mind, unable to believe how it could all be possible.

"Don't think about it too much, nothing about this family makes sense. I had even ask how is that Minato didn't go through heat like Naruto did, and it turns out that their bodies simply respond in accordance to their lovers. Kushina is female so there is no need for his body to go through a gestation period." Kyuubi looked like he himself wanted to pull his hair at the very things he was talking about. Itachi wished he didn't have to worry about it, but this was his little brother, his fiancé, his soon to be husband, and soon to be the…mother of his child. Was mother the correct term? "Man, childbirth sucks,"

Itachi, concerned, asked, "Is Naruto really okay after the childbirth?" After all, Kyuubi kept gripping about it. Itachi turned to fully face the red head when he saw the forlorn look on Kyuubi's face.

"Yes, and no," Kyuubi shrugged. He then turned to Itachi, making the long haired raven flinch away from him. The next words were said so seriously, like if they were a dire secret, "Whatever you do, don't ever get Sasuke pregnant! Once you do, that's it! You can kiss your sex life good bye! Man Itachi enjoy him while you can."

"Wh-what…?" Itachi was confused.

"Nakoru is about to be five months old Itachi, and I get that there has to be time before we can do it again and all, but Tsunade said Naruto would only need three months to heal." Kyuubi shook his head, "I thought three months would kill me, it's now going onto five and I'm dying to touch my husband again. But he refuses to even touch me or think of anything sexual, he says he's scared and that the pain was too much. I…I don't know what to do to turn my own husband on anymore! He doesn't even wear anything sexy to bed anymore, I'm so lost on how to get him to open up to me like he used to," Kyuubi looked like he was in the verge of tears.

"That's way too much information," Itachi shifted in his seat, thinking about escaping. Kyuubi moved to pull at his red hair, the poor man really did look like he was at his limit.

There was really nothing that he knew about childbirth to help him, but Itachi found himself thinking of how he could help Kyuubi. He briefly remembered being six and how his mom was ranting to one of his aunts about how a man could be more considerate and not just think about themselves after a pregnancy. He had been too young to really understand what that could have meant back then, but now he had to wonder if maybe it meant something more.

"What have you tried to get Naruto to open up to you?" Itachi asked, scared of what he was going to be told.

Kyuubi looked like at this point he'd take any advice that he could get, "The usual, you know I tell him he looks beautiful and kiss on him, and try to be smooth in getting into his pants," He shrugged, "I just do what usually worked in the past, I come up behind him and grab at him. He always seemed to like that."

"And what does he usually tell you when you do that now?" Itachi asked.

"Uh…he used to melt under my touch now he just gets jumpy and really tense that I'm scared I did something wrong. He pulls away, making excuses about being tired or the other… you know it hurts that he does that. I'm trying to be understanding but…" Kyuubi trailed off.

"Hmm…he doesn't seem comfortable, have you tried to see what would make him feel comfortable with you?" Itachi asked. "Or have you asked him if he's been feeling comfortable…?"

"Huh," Kyuubi looked dumbfounded by Itachi's words.

Itachi sighed, "To put it simply, have you tried to romance him? Try showing him how much you appreciate him by doing little things like gifting him, treating him to his favorite food, maybe taking the time to massage his feet or take care of his concerns…maybe just talked to him about it…" Itachi shrugged, he was only guessing what could be done really. "It sounds a little like Naruto is feeling insecure after the child birth, seeing as how you said it was so traumatizing…" Itachi jumped as Kyuubi suddenly dropped to his knees in front of him and tried to grab his feet or something.

Itachi was not going to sit by to find out.

"How…what should I do?" Kyuubi asked.

Itachi shrugged, "ask Naruto," He offered.

"Yes…okay romance him, yes you're great you know that Itachi! A great man!" with that Kyuubi ran out of the room, in search of his husband. Itachi watched him go with trepidation. Well, it looked like he had it cut out for him.

Child birth was definitely going to be a challenge he never thought he would be facing.

"Itachi," said man jumped a little as he turned to face the door. Sasori was standing there, holding clothing over his arm. He arched an eyebrow when he saw Itachi jump. "Something wrong?" he asked, not used to seeing the man act like that.

"Oh no, everything is okay, I just had an interesting conversation with Kyuubi on child birth," Itachi then wondered why he explained all of that to Sasori. Damned red heads were going to drive him insane.

"Oh yes," Sasori chuckled, "It seems to be a hot topic before any wedding here," the red haired man shook his head as he saw the dreaded journals that were scattered all over the desk. "Anyways, I got what you asked me for. It's a button up black shirt, with a black blazer, and dark grey jeans." The man held out the clothing to Itachi.

Itachi walked over to receive them, looking them over and noticing that they were of quality. "Do you think these will be good enough for the theatre?" Itachi asked, he was a bit nervous for his and Sasuke's date. He wanted everything to be perfect for them. Sasori nodded his head.

"Yes, you'll look exceptionally handsome in them too," the red head smiled, "Deidara also had Iruka set a carriage to drive you and Sasuke out tonight. Kakashi offered to escort you guys, but we declined. I recall you saying something about wanting to be in control of tonight,"

Itachi nodded once more, "Thank you Sasori, this is all perfect."

Sasori bowed to Itachi and left. Itachi glanced out the window, noting how it was getting late, and knew that it was almost going to be time for him and Sasuke to leave. Gathering the journals, he returned them to the shelves they had come from, and then went to his old bedroom in the servants' quarters to get ready for his date.

"You're looking rather handsome today, Sasuke."

Sasuke turned away from the mirror and gave Tsunade an odd look before going back to fixing his hair. The little jewels just didn't seem to want to sit right in his hair. Today was his date with Itachi and he was a bit nervous. Although, mainly, Sasuke was excited that they were going out together and that feeling had only grown as the day had passed by. Today had been a calm day, with nothing really happening. Sasuke had refused to do anything related to his marriage, and even got to attend one of the meetings over the trials.

Overall, making him feel happy.

The judge had been finally decided to be Hiruzen Sarutobi. The man might be old, but his mind was sharp and he was known to be fair. Despite the man having just retired a few months back, he had decided to do this one trial because he loved Minato as if he were his own son. The Hyuuga's had also sent word that no other judge would do, as well as they would be arriving soon. Along with that it was reported that Hiashi, Hizashi, and Hanabi would be the ones attending.

Noticing that the blond woman was still standing behind him, Sasuke frowned, once more turning to face Tsunade. She seemed to just be standing there, looking at everything that was currently in his room. Juugo and Suigetsu were watching her closely as well, but so far the blond woman had made no move to say why she was here.

"Can I help you with something?" Sasuke decided to ask, pulling at the collar of his white button up shirt, and tugging comfortably at his black robes. They fell over his dark blue jeans just fine, and his jeans tucked into his high top shoes.

Tsunade whom had been looking around the bedroom, thinking how neat it still looked, finally turned her eyes to Sasuke. Her eyes immediately caught sight of a particular necklace Sasuke was currently wearing. She had briefly seen it before, but Sasuke always seemed to keep it tucked under his shirt, rarely allowing anyone to get a good look at it. Now though, it stood between his collar bones, proudly shinning.

A skull, very morbid if you asked her.

Not only that, but Sasuke's jewelry had gone from simple gold pieces to darker, chrome, and silver ones in the span of Itachi's absence and return. Subtle things that Tsunade had noted before, but for one reason or the other was feeling suspicious over just now.

"I heard that you and Itachi were going out this evening, I wanted to ask why so late?" Tsunade finally said making Sasuke arch an eyebrow at her.

"Itachi said something about catching dinner and a show," Sasuke responded easily, turning back to the mirror. "The show starts late, so that is why we're going for dinner instead of lunch or the other,"

"Are you guys taking a carriage with you?" Tsunade asked.

"I don't know," Sasuke answered, making her frown. She didn't like the idea of either of them going out without at least a form of supervision. With a carriage, at least the driver could keep an eye that they made it to their destinations safely.

"Why don't you know? I'm sure that you two aren't going somewhere within walking distance, it would be wiser to take one," Tsunade snapped.

Sasuke shrugged, and then turned to take a seat at the edge of his bed, crossing his left leg over the right. Now that she mentioned it, with him being pregnant maybe walking too far wasn't a good , that killed his first fantasy on how their date was going to go. Not that he knew exactly what Itachi had planned, all his fiancée had said was that it would be a surprise and to be ready by five that evening. "I don't know, I haven't asked Itachi the details."

Tsunade sighed, "So, where is Itachi? Seeing as he is the one that has planned all of this," She placed her hands over her hips, giving Sasuke a slight glare. Sasuke shrugged his shoulders, muttering an 'I don't know,' and looking at her innocently. "Sasuke, you and that man," She gritted her teeth. She wanted to say something like inseparable, attached at the hip, or always aware of where the other is but instead said, "Are so irritating."

Sasuke smiled at that, "Right." he happily agreed.

Tsunade roared.

"Really Tsunade, you have to trust Itachi to have planned everything, because Sasuke hates planning things," Suigetsu spoke up, trying to appease the woman. "You know how reckless he is? You'd have better luck on getting the details from Itachi than Sasuke."

"Not really, he's just the same as Sasuke here. Not giving me any real details as to where they are going or what they will do!" She looked like she was beyond irritated at this point.

"We're going out on a date Tsunade, what else do you want to know?" Sasuke asked, exasparated with her behavior. "I haven't really been on a date to tell you what to expect, all I know is that Itachi planned it for us." Sasuke shrugged. "Besides, we're not little kids, we can take care of ourselves."

"And of course, you blindly trust that man to have planned something like this," Tsunade threw her hand up in defeat as Sasuke nodded in agreement. "Need I remind you what happened with Hyuuga Neji not that long ago, no matter how old you guys get, we still worry about you!"

"I know what happened, I was there." Sasuke glared at her, defiantly.

Tsunade sighed, she gave up. She knew she wasn't going to get a straight answer. "Fine, but I am giving you guys a curfew,"

"Man Tsunade, not even my Aunt Kushina is freaking out this much," Sasuke rolled his eyes. Tsunade huffed.

"Oh, she's freaking out too, you're lucky that your uncle isn't because she is keeping him relaxed, or neither you or Itachi would be leaving this palace!" Tsunade looked over Sasuke once more, and paused when she caught sight of the ring on his finger. Had Sasuke owned a ring before…no….that was completely new. She had never seen it before…at least, how had she never noticed it before…"Is that a ring?" she asked.

Sasuke smiled, "You like it? Itachi gave it to me when he proposed!" Sasuke raised his hand so she could see it better.

"He proposed?" Tsunade was incredulous about that, "When?"

"Well," Sasuke said, recalling how it happened. "It was during the courting, when you were making them do arts and craft," Sasuke threw his hand out to signal behind Tsunade. She turned, and gaped when she saw a vase with paper roses decorating it. Sasuke had molded the roses back in place after he had been done pulling them apart. Tsunade of course remembered the exact date that Itachi had given those to Sasuke.

The sneaky little weasel!

He was that confident huh, she smirked and turned back to Sasuke. "Be back by eleven Sasuke, make sure you tell Itachi or the two of you will be sleeping in separate beds until you're married," She gave him a look to make sure he didn't argue with her. Sasuke gritted his teeth, and nodded his head in agreement.

He couldn't wait until he was able to leave this damned place!

A half hour later, a finely dressed Itachi found himself nervously standing in front of Sasuke's bedroom door. He took a deep breath, and then knocked on the door. The door was thrown open, and Sasuke eagerly ran into his chest. Itachi barely caught him, making sure that they didn't fall over.

"Are we leaving now?" Sasuke asked, excited even more now that Itachi was here.

"Yeah," Itachi smiled at his fiancée, "This is for you," he said, handing Sasuke a small velvet box. The raven haired prince opened it to find a simple silver chain, with a cross on it. Itachi helped Sasuke put it on, and then reached for the black stone that Sasuke wore on his forehead. He placed it gently into the velvet box. "Tonight, let's try to not draw too much attention," He murmured, kissing his forehead.

Sasuke nodded, grasping the velvet box and handing it to Suigetsu who was standing behind him. The white haired man had gotten up to follow him when the door was knocked.

"Itachi, Tsunade wants us back at eleven," Sasuke pouted.

Itachi kissed his pouting lips, thinking his little brother was so cute. He kind of feared that Tsunade, or even the king and queen would try to stop them, but a curfew was better than not being allowed to leave at all. "That's more than enough time," he assured.

"You sure?" Sasuke asked with hesitation.

"Yeah," Itachi offered his arm to Sasuke and led him outside.

The carriage ride was exciting, much to Sasuke's delight, Itachi was going to be the driver as well. That meant no stupid supervision, and no one reporting back to his uncle. What really fascinated Sasuke was the way the horses seemed to respond well to Itachi's lead. Sasuke remained pressed to Itachi as they traveled through the roads, watching how people around them moved about doing their own things.

The sun was setting paiting the sky in pinks and purples, the breeze was nice and cool, making Sasuke shiver. He scrunched his nose when he caught the faint scent of different food that was being cooked all around.

Itachi and he stopped at a modest looking restaurant after they debated on what they felt like eating. When Itachi mentioned a few dishes that Sasuke had never heard of, they decided on something that would be new to him. Itachi ordered and asked for the food to be to go. Sasuke wasn't sure why he made it to go. He thought that they would sit and eat there, but he was happy to find that Itachi wanted them to have more privacy than that.

Sasuke also found it very comfortable to eat in the carriage, in the lot of what was the theater. Itachi explained to him that they were going to see a classic play, based on violence and romance. He said they didn't have to stay for all of it if Sasuke didn't like it, but for Itachi he was willing to give it a shot. Sasuke then proceeded to pick through and eating only certain part of his meal, tossing away anything that offended him.

Itachi watched his little brother, amused by the way he seem to fight with the food he was consuming. "The stars are coming out," Itachi said, glacing up at the sky. Sasuke paused in his fight with a piece of steak, and glanced up as well, his eyes widened in awe as he saw how the stars seemed to start doting the darkening sky.

He had never really paused to look at such a sight before.

"Wow, there's so many of them," he murmured.

"They say that we could see even more of them if we were by the mountains where there is more darkness and less light pollution," Itachi said. "I haven't been there in a while, but it is true."

"Could we go see them?" Sasuke asked.

"Maybe, someday yeah, why not? We could go hunting in the woods and camp out," Itachi said, and took a sip of his water.

Sasuke looked at Itachi now, "Camping…? What's that?" he asked. The idea of it was new to him.

Itachi paused, looking at Sasuke before realizing. Right, Sasuke as a prince would have never even heard the concept of camping. "That's when people travel out to the woods, they cook what they hunt, and they sleep outside in the wild where it's far from the city. It's actually really nice. Some say a bit dangerous," Itachi shrugged, "I think it's just fun, I'll definitely take you with me to camp,"

"Alright!" Sasuke grinned, excited about that too. Hunting sounded like fun. A bit scary though, because he had some questions about having to leave the comforts of a home and sleeping outside, but he trusted Itachi. "I really like this Itachi,"

"What, being here?" Itachi asked, smiling at Sasuke.

Sasuke nodded, "Yes, being here with you. Also the thought of getting to marry you and leave Konoha for somewhere start an adventure with you, and our child…" Sasuke looked back up at the sky. "I feel like it can't start fast enough. I just want to be married to you and move away,"

Itachi reached for Sasuke's hand, "I understand, but at the same time I have to wonder, are you sure you wouldn't miss your family here?" Itachi gently asked.

Sasuke paused, squeezing Itachi's hand, "Of course, but I figure it wont' be for too long. I could probably return back to visit like Naruto has…" Sasuke seemed to hesitate with his words.

"Are you worried your uncle and aunt won't welcome you back like they have with Naruto?" Itachi asked.

"They're his parents, of course they would welcome him, I'm an illegitimate child who they really didn't have to claim as being their nephew. Why wouldn't they want to throw me out now that I am grown and have found someone…" Sasuke looked dejected. As much as he was ready to leave, he feared also not being able to come back and being rejected by the people that he called family. Admittedly, it was also a reason why marriage had never crossed his mind before—it meant growing up, it meant leaving things behind, and it meant change…

"You want to know what I think?" Itachi asked, pulling Sasuke closer to him. Their meals were pushed to the side, forgotten. "I think your uncle will have a hard time letting you go. I think that he might not say it, but his sister meant the world to him and that is only part of the reason why he cares about you so much and made your life so difficult. He has gotten to know you, how reckless and stubborn you can be. He is scared to lose you as well. I know for sure, that if you just asked it, your uncle would always welcome you with open arms, the same way he does for Naruto,"

"You really think so?" Sasuke asked, hopeful.

Itachi nodded, "I know so."

Sasuke leaned in to kiss Itachi, "Okay, okay," he whispered. He wouldn't say it aloud, but besides if he was never welcomed by his uncle ever again, just having Itachi was enough for him to be happy forever. "What about you Itachi? You're going back to Sharingan where your parents are, how do you feel about that?" Sasuke asked, reaching once more for his food.

"I don't really feel one way or the other, my parents are just that. What I am more worried about is you meeting them," Itachi made a face, "In particular our father."

Sasuke tilted his head, "I don't really care to meet him if you ask me, but I guess I should ask, what is he like?" Sasuke asked. The truth was that meeting his father had not even crossed his mind before as much as it probably should have. Maybe it was because Minato filled that role for him…

"He…he used to be a bit insane. Someone I would choose to never introduce to you, but when I went back he seemed more run down, calmer, like he was done with whatever his mission in life seemed to be," Itachi explained. "There is no one way to explain how our father is, the man just always did what he wanted, not caring who he hurt in the process, and lead by his ideals. As his child, he saw potential in me and tried to turn me into a weapon."

"A weapon?" Sasuke asked, perplexed.

"He believes that there is more to the gene we pass down to our offspring. I don't think that he is wrong, but…" Itachi trailed off as Sasuke quickly pieced things together based on his interactions with Itachi.

Itachi didn't want to continue the bloodline and wanted to avoid having a child within the family or at all, because of this gene his father idealized. The thought that now they were going to have a child and that man might still be a bit crazy in the head to try and turn them into a weapon…The idea that he had done that to Itach pissed him off.

Sasuke chuckled evilly, "Just let him come near us and our baby, I'll kill him," His eyes flashed red, making Itachi smirk at Sasuke.

"If he were to come with his ideas around you or our child, I'll gladly help you destroy him, Sasuke," Itachi couldn't help but feel lighter, like the weight in his chest was just lifted because he had Sasuke. Whatever guilt, or hate, or anger he had about his past was buried under the light of the future he could see with Sasuke.

Sasuke smiled at Itachi, "Its definitely going to be interesting going back with you to Sharingan niisan, but," Sasuke narrowed his eyes, "We're not living with anyone. I refuse to share my home with more parents. I'm done with that. You're parents aren't allowed to live with us!" the way he said it made it sound like he was decreeing a law that amused Itachi greatly.

"Way ahead of you Sasuke," Itachi laughed, "When I went back, I also looked at the properties that our family own, the Uchiha central Estate is actually the largest home we own and is now set under my name. We will be living there, just us and maybe some of the guards." Itachi said.

"Really? Why aren't your parents living there?" Sasuke curiously asked, unable to believe that they had scored the best house.

"Because it was my grandparents home. When dad and mom got married, they lived there for a while until they were kicked out because my mom was scandalous and dad was just cheating and off doing his own thing. When they kicked my mom out, she went to live in the Uchiha gold house, and our father followed her there. That's were I was born and conceived before he ran off again." Itachi shrugged as Sasuke looked at him with disbelief. "I talked to my grandparents and they agreed to hand it over, now that they are so old, they gladly said they would move to the Silver house."

Sasuke groaned, "Are all these people also related to me?" he asked. He was already starting to dread that all this was family.

"Not until you marry me, they are my mother's parents. Our father's parents are long dead. They lived in the Crimson house that now belongs to some of my uncles and cousins after my father rejected it. He had been living there for a while, but it seems like mom let him move back in with her to the gold house."

Sasuke nodded his head. He wanted to ask Itachi more about his past, but he knew that it was something Itachi rather not talk about. Maybe, later on he would be able to ask him the details. Or even better if Itachi offered them like he did everything else—because Sasuke was sure his brother as slowly opening up about his past life, with the excitement of their future.

"Well, I will want to meet your grandparents and thank them for the bigger and better house," Sasuke said, stabbing at a piece of steak. Itachi nodded.

"I'm sure they would be happy to meet you,"

Deciding that their meals were not worth finishing, they threw the remains in the nearest trashbin and then headed into the theatre. They handed in their tickets, and were escorted to their seats. The two of them lasted only half way through the play and at the interlude walked off to go see what else was playing.

"Niisan, those people needed to be placed out of their misery," Sasuke joked.

Itachi chuckled, "It's supposed to be romantic Otouto, and they were being dramatic,"

Sasuke groaned, "Isn't there something with more action?" He asked, making Itachi shrug. When he suggested they check if there was one, the two decided to sneak around.

The two walked in and out of five different play rooms before security spotted them and started chasing them. The two of them ran about laughing, sneaking into a new room, avoiding being captured and thrown out.

Itachi pulled Sasuke into a row of seats, ducking behind them. The play there was in full swing, a lady screaming her lungs out at the tragic scene of her beloved having been shot at the last moment before they could be reunited. Her words talked about how things could never be, and how her heart now felt like it was dying.

She would never love again!

The security guard that had been chasing them hesitated, moving carefully not to disturb anyone's view, but he also didn't see the two little deliquents he had been chasing. Just as he descended a few stairs, a pompous looking man snapped at him.

"Why sir! You disturbed such a mood, please move aside!" The man made a fuss, making the other guests shush at him and sound angry at having their play disturbed. Apologizing the security walked out of there as fast as he could.

Maybe he had seen wrong where the two had gone, pissed off he stalked off to see if he could spot the troublemeakers again.

Snickering to themselves, Sasuke and Itachi crawled through the empty isle. There weren't any people in this isle because it looked like it had been reserved for someone that didn't seem to be there at the moment, which made it easy for them to get through to the other side. Before walking out, Itachi pulled Sasuke to the far off door, secluded in the dark that you could easily miss while entering or exiting.

"Whats this?" Sasuke asked as he saw that it lead to a line of stairs, leading up.

"I believe this is a private viewing box, let's check it out," Itachi urged, and Sasuke followed.

The two were greeted by four different seats, a buffet table, and the best view of the stage. Sasuke glanced out to the stage, watching as the woman finally let out a final lung full and fell over her dead beloved. The lights went dark, and people roared with claps. The curtains closed, and someone appeared in the center, saying something about how one thinks death is the end of all, but this woman faced years of loneliness and it was a new day in her life. A bright day that would change her fate, as she met this new man, claiming to be the brother of her dead beloved…

Sasuke watched as the curtains opened, and the scene had changed from a tragic one to a bright one. The people immediately started singing about how bright days ahead continued, and how it was a new chance to meet someone new, for new love.

Sasuke jumped a little when he felt arms encircle his waist, and pull him into a firm and comforting chest. He melted back into those arms, tilting his head to the side when he felt lips kissing behind his ear, and towards his neck. "Itachi," He breathed, closing his eyes as he relished in his lovers touch. Itachi smiled against the soft skin of Sasuke's neck.

"Do you want to watch this play?" Itachi asked.

"No, not really," Sasuke shook his head. He then tilted his head back to smile at Itachi. Itachi smiled in return, moving to peck Sasuke on the lips. Sasuke turned in Itachi's arms, moving to capture his lips better.

Soon the both of them were seated in one of the seats. It was big and comfortable, and it even tilted back and pulled out for them to be able to rest their feet. Not that they were using it for that, seeing as Itachi was laying back, with Sasuke on top of two of them devouring the other's mouths, lost in their own world.

Itachi's hands moved over Sasuke's back, sliding to grip his waist and keep encouraging him in his writhing against him. Sasuke moaned loudly, breaking the kiss to breathe, but Itachi latched onto his neck, sucking and making sure to leave a hickey.

Sasuke laughed, "We're gonna get in trouble if you keep marking me like that,"

"Hey, you're mine. I'm just making sure everyone knows it," Itachi teased.

"Can I try?" Sasuke asked, looking a bit nervous about the idea of leaving a mark on Itachi's skin. Up to this point he really hadn't tried, but he had thought about it.

"Yes you can, Sasuke," Itachi sat up, tilting his head to the side for Sasuke. Sasuke's heart beat heavily, and he moved to first kiss Itachi's cheek, and then down to his lips, his chin, and finally to his throat. He placed a few kisses before latching his mouth, and sucking, listening to Itachi as he instructed him on how to do it when Sasuke grew frustrated that he didn't get to do it as he wanted at first. By the time Itachi commented that it felt sore, Sasuke could only look proudly at his work. Maybe it looked a lot more bruised then when Itachi did it to him, but it was his first one and he couldn't help but feel proud about it.

"You'll get better at it with time," Itachi chuckled when he saw how Sasuke was admiring his work.

"What are you talking about, it looks perfect!" Sasuke grinned, his comment easily followed by a yawn. Itachi figured Sasuke was getting tired.

The two of them finally decided to call it a night, and confidently walked out of the theater. They blended in with the crowd that was also walking out, easily avoiding the security guard that was still looking for them.

The carriage ride back was calm, and silent, making Sasuke sleepy as he dozed in and out against Itachi. The guards at the gate readily opened the doors for them, allowing them to enter. Itachi took care to return the horses safely while Sasuke waited for him. Kakashi was there of course to tease them about their date, but one glare from Itachi had him flinching and closing his mouth.

Itachi held Sasuke's hand as the two walked to their bedroom. Once safely inside, Itachi had to make sure Sasuke brushed his teeth and got into more comfortable clothing for bed. His little brother kept saying he just wanted to go to bed already, and that he was sleepy. After making sure Sasuke was tucked in he also brushed his teeth and changed into some sweat pants.

The two of them had so much fun today.

Sasuke looked drained though, but also glowing and happy. Itachi took a moment to just look at his little brother. Sasuke really seemed to be glowing, and looking at him he could see that Sasuke had made no move to take off his jewelry. All pieces that Itachi had gifted him. The silver against Sasuke's pale skin looked beautiful, but suddenly Itachi wanted to see him in amethyst, black, blue Zircon, and black tourmaline.

Itachi shivered at the thought of his brother decked in black diamond and black gun plated chains. The thought of Sasuke decked out in any jewelry that he got him seemed to do things to Itachi's libido. Leaning into Sasuke, he kissed his cheek, before tucking himself beside him and pulling the covers over them. Sasuke without fail snuggled against him, muttering his name, making Itachi swell with pride that he, and only he made Sasuke this happy.

He wanted to give this man the world. He wanted to make sure Sasuke had it all, and was forever happy. He also always wanted to be by his side. Kissing Sasuke's forehead, he closed his eyes, allowing sleep to take over.

Maybe he was being a bit too possessive.
