The following day the catch a big break in the case. They managed to track down the suspect Jane and Frankie are integrating him. The man sits across from Jane and Frankie with a smug smile on his face. Frankie pushes the man hard for details and the man gives it all up without a second thought like he was proud of what he had done.
Jane is fuming and Frankie knows if he doesnt do something his sister is going to blow her top. "Jane why don't you wait outside since we are almost done here. "Frankie I'm not leaving until I see him taken away." "Oh baby you gonna put the cuffs on me this time?" "Just know I like it rough." The slim ball says licking his lips at Jane. Jane laughs in his face. "You could only wish it was me." "But you see I don't do men I think my wife would have something to say about that." Jane says with a huge smile she knew it wasnt professional and a little immature but she didn't really care.
The man's face went blank. After he confessed to the murder of Adam the officers came in to take him away. The suspect had one more thing to say before leaving the room. "He was suck an easy target shame for his daughter tho." He said with a smirk. "You son of a bitch." Jane said lunging at him only to be stopped by Frankie. "He isn't worth your badge Jane. "Its over he will get what he deserves dont get down on his level." Frankie pleads with his sister who is beyond pissed.
"Get him outta my face." "Makes me sick just looking at him." Jane says staring down the suspect. "Damnit!" Jane yells kicking a chair across the room. "Janie it's okay its over." Frankie says trying to calm down his sister. "That asshole killed a man just because he could!" "He left a little girl with no father!" Jane had tears streaming down her face. "Janie, come here." Frankie says wrapping his arms around his sister who let out everything she was holding back.
"She was their Frankie she seen everything, shes only a child she didn't deserve this!" Jane says broken heartedly. "I know Janie but he will get what he deserves and that little girl will find a family that will make sure she never has to go through something like this ever again." Frankie says softly. Jane takes a minute and collects herslef. "Your right Frankie she will I'm going to make sure of it." Jane says with determination.
Jane made it home late. She enters the home quietly hangs her jacket, takes off her boots and locks up her gun and badge. She noticed Maura sleeping on the couch so she tip toes over and sits on the coffee table brushing a few stray hairs out of the blondes face.
"Hey." Maura says in a groggy voice. "Hey love." Jane says smiling at her wife. "Did you just get in?" "What time is it?" Maura ask not sure how long she had been sleeping. "Shhh baby, it's late let's go to bed." Jane says softly. Before Jane goes into there room she stops and checks in on Ethan and then Harper. She smiled at both kids sleeping silently. Maura sets out some sleep clothes for Jane when she enters the bedroom. "I'm going to take a quick shower." Jane says giving her wife a kiss.
The brunette is so tired she doesn't even bother getting dressed she dries off and climbs in bed and presses up to her wife who has stripped of her clothes. "God, I've missed you today." Jane whispered into the honey blonde neck placing kisses in all the right places. "Mmm." "I've missed you too baby." Maura says turning onto her back. Jane runs her fingers against Mauras cheek. "You are so beautiful." Jane says softly.
Maura wraps her hand behind the brunettes neck and pulls her into a very deep, passionate kiss. It didnt take long for things to get heated. Jane took her time kissing and caressing her wife's smooth body. Teasing her as well. "Mmm, Jane." Maura says threw breaths. "I want you now!" "I need to feel you inside me." Maura whispers into the brunettes ear pushing her hips up to make contact with her wife's body. Jane takes a minute before sliding her fingers inside the honey blonde.
Maura let out a soft moan. Jane knew it wouldn't take long to get her wife to the edge. After the very heated sex Maura lay in Jane's arms running her fingers up and down Jane's chest between her breast. She could see that her wife was lost in thought. "What's on your mind love?" Maura ask propping up on her elbow to look into the brown eyes she loved so much. "Its just been a long day Maur." Jane says with a sigh. Silence fell between them.
"Maur?" Jane says into the dark hopeing her wife hadn't fallen asleep. "Mmhm?" "I'm listening sweetie." Maura says softly. "How would you feel about adopting Harper?" Jane says unsure of her question. Maura sits up a little and turns on the light. "Well she has made herself quite at home." "And I would be lying if I siad I hadn't thought about it myself." Maura says brushing Jane's hair behind her ear. "Why don't we?" The brunette ask. "Why don't we what?" Maura ask unsure of what her wife meant. "Why dont we adopt her?" "I want her to be part of our family." "I-I think that's what Adam would want." Jane says looking into the hazel eyes she loved so much.
"I think that we should talk to Harper first and see if this is what she would want." "If she says yes to us then yes Jane I would love nothing more then to have her apart of our family." Maura says smiling at her wife. "You are amazing Maur." Jane says kissing her wife softly. "I love you so much." "I love you too Jane." Maura replies with a smile. Jane reaches over and turns out the light, she lays down on her side pulling her wife closer. Within minutes they were both alseep.
