After Ji Wuye had said this, about 40 small crossbows came out from the ceiling edges and were all targeted towards Baifeng, Nong Yu, and Moya.

The crossbows are activated by a machine.

Then, Ji Wuye said, "Release the crossbows!"

After saying this, one of Ji Wuye's men activated the machine for the crossbows and all of the crossbows shot arrows over at Baifeng, Nong Yu, and Moya.

When Moya saw this, he used his powers to summon hundreds of crows out of thin air to shield him, Baifeng and Nong Yu.

The hundreds of crows flew around Moya, Baifeng, and Nong Yu and made them unseeable from the outside.

The hundreds of crows also shielded the three of them from the crossbow's arrows too.

Therefore, the arrows from the crossbows all hit the crows that were shielding Moya, Baifeng, and Nong Yu instead.

Ji Wuye was feeling frustrated when he saw this, so he took out his own bow and arrows and shot an arrow at Moya, Baifeng, and Nong Yu from one of the small openings of the iron cage.

This arrow was stronger than the rest of the crossbow's arrows and was much bigger too, so it pierced through all of the crows that was in it's path while all of the other crossbow arrows stopped after hitting one crow.

Therefore, this powerful arrow was able to pierce through all of the crows in its path and was able to get inside the shield of the hundreds of crows.

Moya didn't expect Ji Wuye's arrow to be able to break through his crow barrier, so he was caught off guard by this.

Therefore, Moya was hit by the arrow on his right chest.

However, the arrow did not stop there, it continued traveling forward and pierced right through Moya's body.

The arrow was heading towards Nong Yu who was in back of Moya and who Baifeng was still carrying in his arms and was about to hit her.

Judging by the power of the arrow, not only would it hit Nong Yu, but it would also pierce right through her and hit Baifeng who is carrying her as well.

Nong Yu, Moya, and Baifeng were all shocked when they saw this.

Then, Moya quickly turned around to face Nong Yu and Baifeng and caught the arrow while it was still traveling in midair with his hand right before it was about to hit Nong Yu.

Both Nong Yu and Baifeng were both shocked when they saw this.

Moya breathed heavily and bleeded badly on his right chest, due to his injuries.

Baifeng and Nong Yu both felt extremely sorrowful when they saw Moya in this condition.

Moya continued to hold onto the arrow he had caught and tightened his grip on it, due to his pain.

Then, Baifeng said to Moya in a sad low tone, "Moya..."

Nong Yu just remained silent as she looked at Moya with a sorrowful expression.

Then, Moya turned back around to face Ji Wuye and threw Ji Wuye's arrow he had caught in his hand onto the ground.

All of the hundreds of crows that were summoned by Moya to shield him, Baifeng, and Nong Yu from the crossbpw's arrows were all killed by the arrows and were all spread across the ground dead.

The whole floor that Moya and Baifeng were standing on were covered in dead crows that were hit by arrows.

All of the 40 crossbows had run out of arrows to shoot at Moya, Baifeng, and Nong Yu too.

Then, Moya said to Ji Wuye, "General, you have run out of arrows."

Ji Wuye said, "Even if there are no more arrows on the crossbows, I'll just kill the three of you with my own bow and arrow then.

The three of you can't go anywhere anyways."

After Ji Wuye had said this, Moya said, "General, I'm afraid that you're wrong."

Ji Wuye said, "What?"

Moya said, "Ever since the day that this place was first built, I've already fixed that steel tile on the ceiling as an escape route."

After saying this, Moya pointed at a steel tile on the ceiling inside of the iron cage he, Baifeng, and Nong Yu were sealed in.

Ji Wuye became frustrated and angry after hearing Moya say this.

Then, Ji Wuye said to Moya, "You...

You were disloyal to me from the beginning."

Moya said, "Wrong, General...

I specifically fixed that steel tile on the roof for you, so that if one day there is no other way out of the manor, you can use it to save yourself.

Who would have thought that it would come to save my life at a time like this instead."

Then, Moya said, "I know that your arrow holds divine strength, but I would still like to challenge it."

After saying this, Ji Wuye aimed his bow that had an arrow in it at Moya.

Then, as Ji Wuye was pulling the string on his bow back, Moya jumped up towards the steel tile on the ceiling that he was talking about from earlier with his lightness skills.

Ji Wuye immediately aimed his bow and arrow towards the ceiling where Moya was at.

Then, Ji Wuye released his arrow to hit Moya while Moya was still in the air.

As the arrow approached Moya, he spinned to dodge the arrow, but the arrow managed to slightly pierced his chest.

Then, the arrow hit the steel tile on the ceiling that Moya was talking about from earlier and broke it.

After this, Moya fell to the ground and landed flat on the ground, due to him getting pierced on the chest by the arrow.

Baifeng and Nong Yu felt extremely worried when they saw Moya landing flat on the ground like this.

Then, Baifeng said in a worried and sad tone, "Moya...

No..."

Baifeng and Nong Yu both looked at Moya as Moya laid down weakly covered in blood on the floor with dead crows scattered all over it.

Then, Ji Wuye said to Moya in an arrogant tone, "Hmm...

It seems like you underestimated the speed and the strength of my arrow."

After Ji Wuye had said this, Moya said to him in a weak tone while still laying down on the floor, "That's right...

Your arrow really is strong.

Then, Moya said to Baifeng weakly as he pointed his finger up to the broken steel tile while still laying down weakly on the floor, "Baifeng, look...

Use your greatest strength and fly out of here."

Baifeng shed tears when he saw how badly injured Moya was and due to Moya doing all of this just so that Baifeng and Nong Yu could leave.

Moya just laid down weakly on the floor covered in blood while Baifeng and Nong Yu both stared at him with a sorrowful expression.

Then, Ji Wuye became frustrated and said in a frustrated and angry tone, "He took advantage of my arrow to form a path for them to escape.

I'll kill all of you!

Men, go and reload the crossbows."

Ji Wuye's men went to go and reload the crossbows on the edges of the ceiling.

While Ji Wuye's men went to go and reload the crossbows, Moya said to Baifeng in a somewhat harsh tone as if he was commanding Baifeng while Moya was still laying down on the floor weakly, " Leave quickly!"

Baifeng and Nong Yu both looked at Moya one last time with a sorrowful expression.

Then, Baifeng carried Nong Yu and jumped into the air to exit the manor out of the broken steel tile on the ceiling by using his lightness skills.

The crossbows were loaded by now, so Ji Wuye ordered his men to shoot Baifeng and Nong Yu with the arrows from the crossbows.

The crossbows were released and arrows were flying towards Baifeng and Nong Yu while Baifeng was trying to carry Nong Yu out of the manor through the broken steel tile on the ceiling.

Baifeng dodged all of the arrows and was about to reach the opening on the ceiling, but then, Ji Wuye shot his arrow at Baifeng.

If Baifeng were to continue flying upwards, he would definitely get hit by Ji Wuye's arrow.

Therefore, he fell back down instead as to not get hit by Ji Wuye's arrow.

Ji Wuye's arrow missed Baifeng and traveled out of the manor through the broken steel tile opening on the ceiling instead.

Then, as Baifeng was falling back down to the ground, the arrows from the crossbows were all going to hit him and Nong Yu.

Due to Baifeng falling back down now, he could no longer use his lightness skills in midair, therefore he and Nong Yu would get pierced by all of the arrows from the crossbows no matter what.

However, as Baifeng was falling back down onto the ground, while he was still in the air, he saw Moya's black feather floating in midair.

It seems like the black feather was the last thing Moya could do for Baifeng and Nong Yu to help them escape the manor.

Baifeng and Nong Yu looked down at Moya one last time, since they both knew that this may be the last time that they would see him.

After this, Baifeng used his lightness skills to land on Moya's black feather that was floating in the air.

Then, he bounced off of it and flew out of the opening on the steel tile on the ceiling while carrying Nong Yu in his arms.

All of the crossbow's arrows missed Baifeng and Nong Yu as they both left out of the manor through the opening of the steel tile on the ceiling.

After Baifeng and Nong Yu had left the manor, Moya who was still laying on the floor weakly smiled weakly after seeing Baifeng and Nong Yu leave, since he was feeling content that they were able to leave.

Then, Ji Wuye opened the iron cage that Moya was in with a switch and was about to chase after Baifeng and Nong Yu, but then as he was running towards the exit of the manor, Moya who was still laying on the floor weakly grabbed Ji Wuye's leg as he ran past him to the exit of the manor, so that Ji Wuye couldn't chase after Baifeng and Nong Yu.

Ji Wuye got mad when Moya grabbed his leg, so he struck down at Moya with his sword, but then right when his sword was about to hit Moya, Moya vanished and Ji Wuye's sword just hit a bunch of black feathers instead.

After this, Moya appeared right behind Ji Wuye and punched Ji Wuye hard on the back.

Ji Wuye grunted in pain after getting punched by Moya.

Then, Moya continued beating Ji Wuye up with his speed by vanishing out of thin air from all angles to attack Ji Wuye with punches and kicks.

After this, Moya landed a finishing move on Ji Wuye by punching him really hard on the stomach.

Moya's punch sent Ji Wuye flying a few feet away.

Ji Wuye landed flat on the ground and was injured by Moya beating him up while he wasn't cautious of it, due to him thinking that Moya no longer had the strength to fight.

Ji Wuye's men went over to check on Ji Wuye to see if he's alright.

Right after Ji Wuye landed on the ground, Moya fell back down onto the ground too and laid flat there weakly while covered in blood.

Moya had used his last remaining strength to beat up Ji Wuye while Ji Wuye was not cautious of it, so that Ji Wuye wouldn't chase after Baifeng and Nong Yu.

Then, Moya smiled weakly as he looked up at the broken steel tile on the ceiling that Baifeng and Nong Yu had escaped from while laying down on the floor weakly covered in blood.

Moya was smiling because he felt content now that Baifeng and Nong Yu were able to escape and that Ji Wuye won't be chasing after them for now.

Then, one of Ji Wuye's men shouted to Ji Wuye's other men, "That man betrayed the general and had injured the general.

Kill him!"

After saying this, Ji Wuye's men ran over towards Moya who was laying down on the floor weakly and was covered in blood.

As Ji Wuye's men were running towards Moya, Moya thought back to himself about what he said to Baifeng from back then, "If one day I am in that bird's situation, being hunted down...

I will not wait for someone to come and save me.

If I want to stay alive, I must depend on myself to have enough speed."
