Finn looks to Leia as the doors close slowly. "How are we still alive?" "This shield is merely a smaller one than the one on Hoth. It can withstand an orbital bombardment, but it doesn't extend beyond that door much."
A technician walks up to Leia. "General Solo. We finally managed to repair the base's communication array." Finn looks at her. "So we can finally call in the Republic to help us?" Poe shoots a gaze at him. "No… With how few of us there are left, we're gonna need something smaller. Perhaps Rey can help us."
Another soldier's looking through a periscope. "Hey! Finn! Take a look at this!" Finn looks through the periscope to see 6 AT-M6s, 3 AT-ATs, 4 AT-ASTs (all terrain-armored scout transport), and a New Order shuttle flying over them. Finn lifts up the periscope. "Whoa. They're really serious now. Have we sent that message to Rey yet?" The technician walks up to him. "Just sent it and we explained the whole situation."
"And what about Ackbar?" "We're maintaining whatever life signs he has left." C-3PO walks up to them. "BB-8 has scanned the mine's schematics. This entrance along with the trench tunnels are the only ways in.. Or out."
Finn holds his chin."Okay. Other than those big turrets outside, do we have anything else we can use against them?" Poe walks back in. "We found a bunch of dusty ski speeders lying around." "Then we're gonna have to use those to buy Rey time to get here. Otherwise we're gonna have stormtroopers flooding this base through those trench tunnels." He points to a couple gigantic holes in the floor. "And since they brought in those At-M6s, that can only mean they're planning on using their big-ass cannons to blow a hole in that door and overwhelm us."
