Chris: Last time on Total Drama Island: the girls got back from their luxurious vacation from their regular vacation. The campers were shocked when both Colleen and Desiree came back, making the final ten, a final twelve. Tension grew as Desiree revealed that she knew all about the alliance between Wendell and Annalise to the two, demanding that they let her in on it. Colleen was definitely stuck in her old ways, and made some more enemies along the way. The campers faced off in a nice game of "Who Said What?" Leslie found out Francis was crushing on someone, and Francis totally yelled at her to leave him alone about it. In the end, Desiree threw the challenge to save Wendell's butt, giving Hellen the victory and a sweet deluxe trailer all to herself. Colleen was later eliminated again for her bossy ways. Now that the campers are all fending for themselves, who will be the next to go? Find out now on Total. Drama. ISLAND!
The camera opens up on Chris before showing the girls returning to the island from a cruise ship. Colleen and Desiree are then seen returning to the island before the latter is shown blackmailing Wendell and Annalise. Colleen is seen arguing with Percival and then getting on Harriett's nerves in the girl's cabin. Several campers are shown incorrectly guessing who said what quote and subsequently being forced into a fish barrel. Leslie is then seen asking Francis about who he's crushing on twice as well as him yelling at her for bothering him about it. Desiree is next seen purposefully answering a question wrong and losing to Hellen, the latter of which runs to their victory prize. Finally, Colleen is shown being tossed onto the boat of losers and knocked out by Chef before the camera cuts back to Chris. He finishes his intro and then the opening plays. When it ends, Hellen is seen waking up, fresh and happy in her trailer. She walks outside and admires the sunlight, taking it all in.
Hellen (Confessional): After having spent all these days in a cramped cabin with lots of other people and using the same restroom as everybody, having my own place to be sure does feel nice. It's awesome that I get to keep this after the show is all over and done with.
Chris is seen in a pirate outfit, lighting the fuse of a cannon. It explodes loudly, and a cannonball is sent straight into the trailer, destroying it and causing Hellen's jaw to drop.
Hellen: No! Why, Chris, why?
Chris's voice booms through a megaphone.
Chris: Yarhar, ye swashbucklers. Come meet me at the ampitheater in ten minutes to hear about today's challenge!
The campers are then shown seating themselves on the benches in front of the stage, Hellen appears miserable as she sits next to Percival, who doesn't question it. Next to Chris on the stage is a sheet draped over some object that can't clearly be seen.
Chris: Ahoy, me mateys! I sure hope yer ready for something great, because the challenge is going to be amazing!
Percival: What's under that sheet there?
Chris: Uh-uh, not just yet, me boy! For starters, who here is ready for a treasure hunt of sorts?
Leslie: Oh! Me, me, me!
Leslie (Confessional): When I was younger, my family used to do pirate themed treasure hunts at least once every weekend! Those were the days!
Chris: Now, this treasure hunt isn't your average treasure hunt. The treasure isn't really hidden, and it really isn't treasure, either. Yer looking for keys for these here treasure chests!
He pulls off the sheet, revealing several chests, causing some of the campers to awe.
Chris: In each of these chests is a prize for whoever opens it. Some prizes are meaningless, but some will help ye in the competition. One of them will even grant invincibility! Now come on up and grab yer hints!
The campers get up on the stage and each grab a piece of wood with a picture on it from a bucket. Gene looks at his, seeing an alligator on it.
Chris: Oh, nice! Alligator pit, you're gonna have lots of fun with that one.
Gene (Confessional): Watching alligators from a distance? Whatever. Trying to steal a key from them in a pit? No way.
Veronica's is seen next, with a picture of a fridge on it. She looks up at Chris, confused.
Chris: Haha, Chef's fridge. Good luck getting that key.
She gulps and the camera pans over to Francis, who has picture of a shark on his.
Chris: In the lake with the man eating sharks! Nice!
Francis's eyes widen and Leslie pats him on the back. Chris stands between all of the campers again.
Chris: Alright, landlubbers! Go fetch yer keys and bring them back by six o'clock to get your loot from the chest! Go, go, go!
Desiree (Confessional): After some questioning, I've found that my hint takes me to a bear cave. Isn't that just great?
Francis (Confessional): It was one thing to dive into a safe zone near those sharks in the first challenge, but to swim around them to grab a key? Color me terrified!
The camera cuts to a skunk hole, where Harriett is standing. She cracks her knuckles before grabbing a small whistle from her pack, and blowing very hard into it. Wendell peeks out from behind a tree as the skunks all runs out of the hole and into some bushes. Harriett then grabs the key with no issue and whistles as she walks on by. Wendell glares as she passes him.
Wendell (Confessional): Getting rid of Harriett is such a nuisance of a task. On one hand, she's great at everything. On the other, everyone likes her too much to vote her off. I'll have to be really tricky about this one.
The camera then goes over to Desiree at the entrance of the bear cave. She pulls out a flashlight to try and see better before she walks in. Bats fly out of the cave as she enters, causing her to gasp bump into the sleeping bear with the key around its neck. It wakes up suddenly, and turns to face her. She goes wide-eyed and screams before running out of the cave with the pair hot on her trail. Gene is then seen on the bridge over the alligator pit with the gators below him. He tries to reach down and grab the key, but one of the gators snaps at him, making him pull his hand back quickly to avoid getting bit.
Gene (Confessional): Oh, come on! This is impossible, dude!
Harriett walks up behind him and taps his shoulder, spooking him at first.
Gene: Oh, what's up Harriett?
Harriett: You look like you could use some help.
She hands him a magnet on a string, which he then lowers into the pit, grabbing the key safely and pulling it back up to him.
Gene: Thanks, dude!
Harriett: No problem, "dude."
She gives him a peck on the cheek before walking off. The camera then cuts to Duke, who is staring at one of the toilets in the communal washrooms.
Duke (Confessional): Chris said that the champ's key is in the septic tank. No big deal for me, I always come out on top.
As he dives into the nasty water, it splashes everywhere and some nearby flies drop dead. The camera then cuts to Veronica, who is sneaking into Chef's kitchen. She goes to open his fridge, tripping a wire and causing her to be caught in a net. Chef then walks in from the back door, grabs her in the net, and tosses her outside into the dumpster.
Veronica (Confessional): Right, just go into Chef's fridge. Easy peasy.
Leslie is then seen near a fire hoop with a key dangling in the center. She scratches her chin at first, unsure of what to do, but her face lights up and she runs off camera. She comes back with a large cloth and ties it around two posts, using it as a slingshot to launch her through the hoop and grab the key, setting her pants on fire in the process. As she starts to jump for joy from getting her key, she realizes that she's on fire and runs toward the lake, screaming. Francis is then seen waiting on the dock, staring at the key around a dingy as the sharks swarm around it. Just then, Leslie cannonballs into the water, scaring the sharks off. Francis then quickly jumps in and grabs his key before returning to the dock with Leslie.
Francis: Thanks for the help, Leslie!
Leslie: Help? What help, how did I help? I was just on fire and then I jumped into the lake.
Francis: Well, you scared the sharks away, so that's help enough.
Leslie: There's sharks in there!?
He rolls his eyes, and the camera cuts to the bear, walking in the forest looking for Desiree. As it passes a tree, a branch creaks, causing it to look up and see Annalise trying to grab her key from the tree. The bear growls at her, causing her to jump in fear, breaking the branch and falling on top of the bear, knocking it out cold. Desiree then jumps out of a bush and grabs her key from the bear's neck.
Desiree: Thanks, partner!
She runs off before Annalise can say anything.
Annalise: Hey! You could've helped me get my key!
She looks up into the tree, seeing the key at the top. She sighs and starts to climb again.
Annalise (Confessional): To set the record straight, I don't like Desiree. But unfortunately, she's got dirt on me, so I have to deal with her.
As Duke is still diving for his key in the septic tank, Desiree is seen outside of it. She quickly grabs his turnbuckle and runs off with it. He comes up for air with the key in his hand, and notices that his prized possession is gone. He gasps, and tries to rush out of the tank, tripping and hitting his head on the floor. She is next seen in the boy's cabin, swiping things from Percival and Francis and sneaking them into Gene's bed. She giggles as she runs outside. The camera cuts to Percival, who is staring at a wasp nest. he puts a helmet on and walks toward it. As he grabs the key from the nest, the wasps swarm around him, trying to sting his face only to have their stingers broken by the helmet. He runs off in victory with the wasps still after him, passing by an angry and wet Duke on his way to the stage.
Duke (Confessional): Somebody out there is stealing from the champ. That is some grade a disrespect right there. When I find out who it is, they're going down.
As Duke enters the boy's cabin, he notices Gene's bed being incredibly lumpy. He lifts the blanket to see his turnbuckle, Francis's action figures, and Percival's family crest. He fumes in anger before going out to look for the other guys. Wendell is shown staring at a rattlesnake with a key in its coil. He cracks his knuckles and grabs the snake before flailing it around and launching it really far away. He then grabs his key and walks off to look for Annalise and Desiree. The camera cuts back to Duke, Percival, and Francis, all of which are staring at Gene's bed angrily.
Francis: I don't get it! Why would he do this?
Duke: I don't know either! I just found it all here.
Percival: He thinks he can just take what is ours with no consequences? Oh, we'll show him otherwise.
Desiree is shown peeking in through the boy's window and laughing evilly as she runs off into the woods.
Desiree (Confessional): What do you do when you can't get rid of someone? Go after the person closest to them.
Wendell is seen looking up into a tree from the bottom of it as Desiree joins him.
Desiree: What are you looking for, Wendell?
Wendell: Not looking for, looking at. And Annalise is up there trying to get her key.
Annalise: You know, you two could at least try to help!
The camera pans up to her, still climbing, almost at the top. As she finally grabs her key, she raises her fist in glory, causing the tree to topple and crush Wendell's feet. He screams in pain as Desiree chuckles before pulling him free. Annalise dusts herself off and walks over to them.
Annalise: Well, that's done. No thanks to you two.
Wendell: Relax, beauty queen.
Desiree: Ahem, you guys?
They look over at her, only to see skunks, a rattlesnake, and an angry bear all behind them The three gulp before running away from the mob of animals screaming. The camera then cuts back to Veronica, who has finally freed herself from the net. She quietly sneaks back into the kitchen from the back door, to find Chef sleeping in a chair. She tiptoes over to the fridge and opens it, grabbing the key quickly and running out the main entrance to the lodge. She stops dead in her tracks to see Wendell, Annalise, and Desiree still being chased by animals. The three jump into the lake and the animals turn back towards the woods. Veronica shrugs and heads on back to the stage. Gene is then shown walking into the boy's cabin to be greeted by the three angry campers who have been robbed.
Gene: Yo, dudes. What's up?
Percival: What's up? What's up is that you're a conniving little backstabber!
Gene: What?
Francis: I can't believe you stole from us! I thought we were friends?
Duke: I didn't think we were friends, but I still can't believe you stole from us!
Gene: Woah, guys, what are you talking about?
He looks over to his bed to see their things in it and gasps.
Gene: Okay, I know this looks bad, but you gotta believe me, I never stole that stuff!
Percival: Save it for the dock of shame, Gene.
The three walk out in a huff, leaving Gene, saddened and alone.
Gene (Confessional): I don't get it? How did that stuff get there, I didn't do any of that!
Hellen is finally shown looking at a rabbit near a key. As she tries to approach it, it loudly growls at her, causing her to jump back a bit. The rattlesnake from before then slithers in and swallows the key. Hellen facepalms and grabs the snake, squeezing the key out before being bitten and fainting. Chris's voice then comes booming over the loud speakers.
Chris: Alright, mateys! Meet me back at the amphitheater with yer keys to claim yer treasure!
The camera cuts to the amphitheater, where the three boys are still glaring at Gene, who looks miserable.
Harriett: What's wrong, Gene?
Gene: It's nothing, don't worry about it...
Chris: Alright, use yer keys if ye dare! Argh!
Leslie tries to open all of the chests with her key, only to fail every time.
Leslie: Chris! My key isn't working!
Chris: Oh yeah, looks like you got the dud. Whoopsie.
Hellen, still woozy from the snake encounter, opens a chest to reveal medicine. She grabs it and faints again before being able to take it. Francis then opens a chest to find an invincibility pass inside.
Francis: Oh, sweet!
Leslie: Yay, Francis! You can't lose tonight!
More and more campers open their chests to find oddities and snacks rather than real treasure. Once they have all collected their stuff, excluding Leslie who didn't get anything, they stand in a line.
Chris: Well, I hope you got some good treasure today. Anyways, it's time for the worst part of the challenge, voting off one of your fellow campers. I'm gonna go freshen up, but while I do, you guys can vote. Meet me back at the campfire at sundown for the ceremony.
Duke (Confessional): Steal from the champ and you buy yourself a one-way ticket to losertown.
Desiree (Confessional): I don't get how Wendell hasn't thought of this before. Like, come on.
Wendell (Confessional): I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm the weakest link of the alliance...nah.\
The campers are seen at the dark campfire area, sitting down. Chris approaches with a platter of ten marshmallows, he immediately tosses one to Francis, who grins with his invincibility pass in hand.
Chris: Well, campers. We're about to be down to the real final ten campers. What a shame, huh? You should know the deal by now, you've voted for someone to leave the island, that someone will walk the dock of shame, catch the boat of losers, and never return to the island. Ever! Francis is immune from elimination so obviously he's safe. But next up, Percival...Duke...Harriett...Desiree...Annalise...Leslie...Hellen...and Veronica.
The campers grab their marshmallows, except for Hellen, who is still woozy. Chris throws it at her and it lands in her hand. Gene looks down at the ground miserably as Wendell glares at Chris.
Chris: It was a close one, hard to say, almost had to recount...is what I would say if this night's voting wasn't so one-sided. So many people voted for one person, it was almost kind of funny. The last marshmallow goes to...Wendell.
Wendell gets up and grabs his marshmallow, causing Harriett to gasp.
Harriett: No! What? How could you guys vote him off! I thought you were his friends!
Percival: Friends don't steal other friend's belongings.
Francis: Especially not their limited edition action figures that aren't available for sale anywhere!
Gene: Harriett, it's okay. I'm out of the contest, sure, but think of it this way. Now, we won't have to get fiercely competitive with each other later on. I won't be holding you back, either! You're smart, strong, and I'm sure you could beat any of these guys with a hand tied behind your back! Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.
He kisses her and they hug tightly before he walks the dock of shame and gets on the boat of losers. It sets off into the distance.
Harriett (Confessional): Gene's right. I can win this thing. From now on, I'm gonna put in ten times the effort and work towards my victory in the show's finale. Nobody can stop me!
Wendell (Confessional): Or can they?
He chuckles in the confessional as the screen fades to black.
