Hazel opened her eyes with a start. She looked to the left...then to the right. "What the…" She blinked as the looked around.
It seemed like she was in some kind of...room? However, this room was not like any ordinary room she had seen. It shifted in color. It had no windows. She couldn't tell if the room had walls, but she could tell it wasn't endless. It was completely empty too. Wherever she was...felt familiar.
"Where am I?" Hazel thought aloud.
"We are in your mind." A male disembodied, echoing voice said.
Hazel looked around in defense and confusion. "Wha-where are you? Who are you? Show yourself!" She commanded as she continued to look around.
The voice sounded again. "I'm not your enemy, young one." He stepped into Hazel's line of sight. "I...am Jupiter; Roman god of the wind and sky." He said with a hint of pride. "But, you can call me dad." He said with a smirk as he raised one of his eyebrows.
Hazel immediately froze at that. "You...m-m-my…" She blinked in surprise before shaking her head in disbelief.
The god stood tall. He had a regal look in his royal purple eyes. He had midnight blue hair just like her sister. Jupiter had no facial hair as she would expect, but dressed in a rather pricey long-sleeved looking cloak. The cloak was royal blue with ancient Roman text written about it. The text shone since they were made out of some type of metallic gold material. He wore a black shirt under it. With that, he wore a pair of matching black jeans.
Jupiter looked at her with interest as his eyes changed to an orange hue. "Apparently, you have my eyes." He said, snapping Hazel out of her thoughts.
The red-haired girl shook her head at that once she came to. "No...I can't possibly be your kid. The eyes must be some sort of crazy coincidence. I-"
Before she could deny any further, Jupiter spoke. "Seriously? Your twin sister looks like she could be my twin sister." He said in amusement.
Hazel's eye twitched at that. She couldn't say he was lying. The god did look like her sister. Especially with their matching blue hair. So...her dad was king of the Roman gods, huh?
Hazel did nothing but blink and stare.
Because of this, Jupiter offered her a smile. "Believe it or not, we have already been stuck in her for about five hours." That's when he waved his hand, making a couch appear. "Summon a chair and take a seat. We're in your dream space." He gestured to her.
Hazel blinked out of her shock before summoning a yellow chair. "Did...did you want to t-tell me something?" She asked rather cautiously.
Jupiter nodded happily. "Yes, I did." He clasped his hands together before saying, "I have been watching you and your sister for your entire lives. Your strength and endurance have impressed me. Because of this, I am willing to accept you; which would make you a princess of the Roman Pantheon." He said calmly.
Hazel blinked in surprise before growing a small smile. "R-really? That's-"
"However," Jupiter interrupted. "You must pass a very important test." He said with interest.
Hazel blinked at that before rerouting her thoughts. "Okay...what might that be?" She squinted her eyes.
Jupiter nodded before saying, "I'd like to test your strength. You and me in the Roman Colosseum; we will battle. If you last one minute against me, you'd earn my respect and your position by my side. Think of it as...a write of passage." He said, satisfied with his explanation.
Hazel looked down before bringing her attention back to him. "What if...I don't last a minute against you?" She asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Then you will most likely never see me again, not get your position, and will have to live the rest of your life amongst the mortals." He replied with a casual shrug.
"Right…" Hazel said with a frown as her eyes changed a few colors.
Jupiter shook his head at that. "Don't fret. I don't think you will have that issue. Just focus on what will happen if you do endure. You will never want for anything again." He said, summoning the golden, crystal tiara he had planned for her to wear.
Hazel noticed that the tiara glowed as if it had power. The ribbons tied to it seemed to sway as if it was being blown by some unfelt wind. The diamonds decorating it were teardrop-shaped and some even dangled. She looked at the headpiece in awe. The ruby haired girl blinked and looked down. She seemed to be heavily conflicted.
"Do you accept the challenge?" He asked with a serious tone. His face resembled his tone.
Hazel bit her lip, her eyes changing a variety of colors. "I-I-I accept." She said with a sigh.
Jupiter smiled at that before standing. "Very nice. I will be checking on you periodically." He said as the couch disappeared.
Hazel looked at him in surprise and confusion. "Wait, are you leaving?" She hurriedly stood, her chair disappearing as well.
Jupiter nodded at that. "Yes. I am a very busy guy. On top of that, it's morning, around the time you like to wake up to be exact." He offered her a smirk. "Don't worry. I'll be back. Whenever you feel you're ready, come back to me about the challenge." He said before he began to fade.
Hazel blinked before shaking her head. She rushed up to him as if she could stop the god from fading away. "Wait, no! I need training for this! How do I prepare! How much do I have to train! How will I train...I!"
As soon as she tried to reach out for him, he completely faded away.
Hazel frowned as she tried to catch her breath. She bit her lip as she thought about what she had just agreed to. She wrapped her arms around herself as she felt herself waking up.

Ara smiled as she group teleported her and her friends to Evie's home. Ever since Ara found out she missed VK day, she had been wanting to get to see her little buddies. She heard that even Dizzy was here and was currently hanging out with them.
Triple G was one of the most excited. He was very close to the sons of Smee, while Ara was...acquainted.
Ara shook her head at his happy bouncing as she walked up to the home. "Remember. We are only going to be here for a little bit. We have to try and find Hazel." She told the boys and they nodded eagerly.
Ara walked up to the elegant door with a smile. For a moment, she was deciding whether she wanted to use the doorbell or just knock. After a few seconds, she shrugged and simply reached up her hand to knock on the door.
To her surprise, Evie opened the door. It was like she could sense Ara's presence. Ara blinked as she was brought into a loving embrace.
Ara chuckled at that before saying, "Good morning, Princess." She said, embracing the woman back.
The boys looked on in amusement as Evie giggled. Then they laughed when Evie whacked Ara on the arm. Ara looked at her with exasperation.
"Why weren't you at Ben's meeting?" Evie asked with a pout. "I was planning on asking you out! It was going to be a movie night!" She said in a whiny tone.
Ara blinked at that before saying, "You were? That's so sweet." She said with a smile before she frowned a bit. "I would have loved to, but I couldn't have gone if I tried. There was the thing with a plane, then there is panic everywhere because of Audrey and Hades, my sister went missing…" She shook her head.
Evie looked at her sadly. "Oh, Ara. I'm so sorry." She shook her head. "I know this must be hard for you. You and Hazel were practically inseparable. Can't you still do the...the mind thing?" She said, pointing to her head.
Ara shook her head at that. "No. I-I can't reach her for whatever reason." She frowned deeper, not wanting to talk about the situation anymore. "It's okay. I'll get to the bottom of the situation." She smiled at that. "Oh, we're here to see the kids, by the way."
Evie blinked at the change of topic before happily nodding. "Of course. Come in." She stepped out of the way, allowing them to walk in. "Hey, guys! We've got company!"
At that, the kids timidly looked around the corner. When they saw who it was, they smiled widely and ran to them. Unexpectedly Jay and Carlos showed themselves also.
"Ara! Hi!" Dizzy said before running to hug the blue-haired woman.
Ara chuckled at that before smiling at her. "Hello, Dizzy." Then she turned to the other kids. "Hello to you too Squeaky, Squirmy, Celia." She smirked at them
Dizzy smiled even more at that. "I know that face. You have gifts." She said, prompting the other kids to smile as well.
Celia smirked at that. "Now I know why my sister likes you. Give em up!" She said, holding her hands out.
Ara laughed at that. "Yeah. I figured you would like something shiny." She snapped her fingers, revealing a golden necklace with an emerald pendant. "And your second gift is five hundred big ones." She dug five hundred dollars out of her pocket and held them like a deck of cards. "Drip, baby! Drip!" She said with a wide smile.
Celia gasped at that, grabbing for the money first. "Thanks, Ara!" She smirked while looking at her gifts.
Ara nodded at that. "Don't spend it all in one place." She winked at the girl before looking at Squeaky and Squirmy. "You boys share everything, but that doesn't mean I got you guys one gift." She snapped before holding up a brand new Xbox Series X. "Here you guys go. It's amazing what you can get when you save people's butts. These things aren't even released yet." She held it out.
The twins grinned happily at that. Squeaky took the console while Squirmy took the accessories that Ara got with it. "Thank you, Ara." They both said in sync.
Ara tilted her head at that. "If I wasn't a twin, I would have thought that was creepy. Run along little scamps." She told the boys before they ran off to find an available TV.
Dizzy walked up to Ara with curiosity. She tilted her head before asking, "Ara, did you get me anything?" She looked up at her.
Ara blinked at that. "But you always get stuff from me. It wouldn't be special if I did." She bent down to the girl's level with a pout.
"Aww…" Dizzy said with a frown.
Ara laughed at that before snapping. "Nah, just kidding. Here ya go." She said as a white pomeranian puppy appeared.
"Oh my GOSH!" Dizzy exclaimed as she jumped up and down. "You did not!"
Ara nodded before smirking. "Yes, I did." She held out the puffy puppy for her to take. "Don't worry. I've bought you plenty of accessories for your puppy." She said with a wide smile.
Dizzy took the puppy with a wide smile before capturing Ara in a hug. "Thank you, thank you, Ara! You're the best!" She began to give the happy puppy her attention.
"I know." Ara shook her head at that. She stood back up.
Everyone watched as Dizzy ran off to find the other kids saying, "Guys, guys! Look what Ara got me!" With a happy chuckle.
Carlos chuckled at that before saying, "You always have to show us up, doncha?"
Ara shook her head with a smirk. "Nah. The gifts where Chester's idea." She said, nudging her head over to the cat.
Chester shook his head at that. "Uhh, no. The gifts were George's idea. You were pestering me about a donation to support George's idea." He said in amusement.
George nodded at that with a large smile.
Ara shook her head at that. "Potato, potato." She waved her hand at that.
Triple G shook his head at that. "How about we just play a round of kickball?" He asked with a chuckle.
Jay smirked at that. "Sounds good to me. Geo, are you in?" He looked at George.
George smirked before nodding.
Evie smiled at that before she got an alert on her phone. "I'll catch up with you guys. Mal said she wanted to talk to me and I've been gone long enough." She before walking away from them.
Ara smiled and nodded at that. "Okay. I'm gonna go hang out with the kids." She said before walking to find the chirpy group of children.

Hazel had a rather...weird morning. She had a strange dream right before she woke up. Her dad disappeared right before she woke up also. Hazel was trying to convince herself that it was just a dream, but it felt so real. Not to mention some gods could dream walk so…
Hazel made breakfast for herself. After that, she made breakfast for Hadie, Hades, and Audrey as well. She had no idea where Hades went. Instead, she busied herself with taking care of Hadie's needs. Anything to keep that dream off of her mind.
When she was finished with Hadie, she grabbed Audrey's breakfast and poked her head into her room. Hazel tilted her head before peeking inside. "Audrey? Are you awake?" She called in a timid manner.
Audrey awoke at that and glared around the room before pausing at the sight of Hazel. "Yes?" She asked while folding her arms.
Hazel, despite her nerves, was able to pull off a smile. "I made you breakfast." She said simply as she pushed the door open with her foot. This revealed the plate of food and beverage in her hands.
Audrey blinked at that before nodding and gesturing for her to enter. "Thanks."
Hazel walked into the room, cautious not to spill anything. "Here you go. I hope you didn't mind me using your food. I-I could always get you more or pay you back." She said in a nervous manner.
"It's fine. I have plenty of money." Audrey said while waving it off.
Hazel nodded at that with relief before backing up. "Alright...Imma go...I'm just gonna...yeah."
Audrey blinked and tilted her head a bit before shrugging. "Make sure that moron Hades doesn't do anything stupid. He ran out of here early screaming about how he's killing someone." She said with a roll of her eyes.
Hazel blinked twice at that. "Okay...I'll keep an eye on him." She said before leaving the room and closing the door behind herself.
After that, she sat down in a chair with a deep sigh. Hazel frowned and looked down...before her ears picked up on something. She looked up at the door with curiosity.
As soon as she had looked at it, Hades stomped on in with a frustrated expression. The god looked as though he had collided with something by the way his nose was bleeding gold blood, not like he paid any attention to it. His lips were set in a scowl as he sat down with a grumble as he folded his arms.
Hazel simply blinked at that before she looked down. "...Rough morning?" She asked, looking at the floor.
"Some asshole was in here...so I chased him out and all the way...past the wall, before he made me crash into something." Hades grumbled, muttering a name that started with a J as he shook his head in aggravation.
Hazel blinked at that with a frown. "I...see. Keep up the good work, I guess?" She looked around, clearly concerned.
"It wasn't good work-it's the punishment that bastard deserves. He knows he's guilty of everything I know about...especially with how fast he ran from me. It's to be expected after he throws everybody and everything away before treating them like ants. I should have released Cerberus on his ass." Hades said, clearly beyond angry concerning the man.
Hazel blinked at that before tilting her head. "I'm assuming you're not talking about a regular man." She asked, finding it hard to believe a regular human could outrun Hades.
"He's like my bastard brother, a complete and utter ass. The only difference-my brother didn't throw away his kids or have them for shitty reasons. He certainly hasn't thrown away his wife like that shithead has." Hades said, physically shaking with anger.
Hazel blinked at that before nodding. Her eyes changed a variety of colors as she stared in space. She was clearly in her thoughts.
"Then he has the nerve to come here? Not only did he trespass into the territory ruled by the greeks...he stepped into my territory! He's lucky I didn't send all of Hell after him!" Hades said with a scowl.
Hazel debated asking more questions, but decided against it. The god looked angry enough and was clearly insane. She didn't want to press him. Especially after she just cleaned up. Because of this, she quietly watched him rage on.
"He acted as though he's innocent-hah! If I am chasing after you, you sure as hell ain't innocent! I punish souls for a living and put them through torture as a way of giving them what they made everyone else feel! I do just things but nooo Hades is insane and crazy and like a rabid dog! Well-maybe I wouldn't be like a rabid dog if he wasn't such a piece of crap being!" Hades said, not appearing to notice that his nose began bleeding even more with his rage.
Hazel blinked at that before standing. "I'll...get some napkins." She said before standing and making her way to the kitchen.
The ruby-haired girl returned with napkins a moment after. She held them out cautiously. "I d-don't want blood on the floor. I just cleaned...up." Hazel frowned the slightest.
"You'd want this blood...it has healing properties." Hades said with a snicker before scowling. "Besides-the thing is broken and I don't think I exactly deserve to have a non-crooked schnozz when I failed to catch the one moron I've been plotting to catch for two decades." He folded his arms and glared at the wall.
Hazel blinked before raising an eyebrow. "That sounds a bit harsh, don't you think?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
"It's nothing in comparison to other punishments I've been dealt. I'd rather have the broken nose over the lizard transformation I got from my dear sister." Hades said, not looking that bothered about it.
Hazel shrugged at that before sighing. "Alright. If Audrey needs me, let her know I'm outdoors." She said before walking out. Hopefully a bit of meditation could help her clear her mind.
When she walked out, she immediately sighed. It was already a long day and it had just began. She was feeling stressed. She had no one she felt comfortable enough to talk to. She was starting to miss her mother.
Hazel frowned at that before finding a nice spot to brush up on her powers. The sad part is, instead of brushing up on her powers, she somehow got caught up in feeding a caterpillar. After that, it was helping the squirrels store nuts for winter. She also fed a few rabbits, helped out a few dying plants, and diagnosed a few trees.
Now it had been nearly an hour and Hazel had done nothing that she planned to do. "Well...at least I feel better." She said as she watered everything and wiped the dirt off of her face.
Hazel tilted her head as she looked over the garden. "This place...could use a good weed removal procedure." She smirked before looking around. That was before she dropped down on both knees and began effortlessly plucking weeds.
After a few minutes of weed plucking, Hazel felt something land on her head. It slid down her face and waded through the air on the way down.
The woman merely blinked at the sheet of paper. Hazel shook the dirt off of her hands before picking up the note. "Audrey wants you?" She read before her eyes halved. "Hades."
Hazel stood and brushed off her clothes. She walked back inside of the cottage and looked around. Not seeing Audrey in the living room, she timidly walked inside the room before saying, "Audrey? You called me?" She tilted her head and moved her bangs out of her line of sight.
Audrey was looking out the window and turned around at the sound of Hazel's voice. "Good, Hades was able to get your attention. Anyway, we...are going to crash a party. I need to make a statement before I begin on going after the royals." She said, saying the last part mainly to herself as the scepter glowed.
Hazel blinked at that. "Umm...okay." She said with a shrug. "When are we leaving?"
"As soon as possible. I don't want any delay since I have other things planned for today." Audrey said as she began walking towards the door.
Hazel turned at that before following after her. "...Okay. Lead the way." She said, lacing her hands behind her back.
8888888
Ara blinked at him with exasperation. "You can't be serious." She said with a fold of her arms.
Deuce nervously chuckled and played with his paws. "It's just a party…"
Ara frowned at that. "Yeah. A party while I have a whole sister missing? Yeah right. I'm going to go see what Audrey did to my sister." She said, folding her arms.
Triple G tilted his head at that. "What if...Hazel is at the party?" He shrugged at that.
"What if-!" Ara caught herself. "Trip, just chill with the party stuff, I'm not in the mood." She said, walking out of Evie's front door.
Triple G looked at the rest of his friends with worried expressions before following Ara out. "I know this is hard for you. Hazel is our friend. It's hard for us, but I think the party would be a great time for us to clear out minds. At least do a hero-type pop in? Huh?" He asked with a smile.
Ara sighed at that. "...Only two minutes. If I don't see her, I'm leaving." She said with a deep frown.
Triple G and Deuce cheered at that.
Trip turned back to Ara. "We'll catch up with you!" He said before running off to find his car.
Ara sighed as soon as he had left. She shook her head with a deep frown. After that, she took off into the sky.
Using her phone as a GPS, she tilted her head as she looked down at all of the locations. It was supposed to be right on side of the enchanted lake. So, Ara kept her eyes out for a body of water. When she saw one, she began to decline a little far off from the party's location.
The blue-haired woman walked the rest of the way. She expected to hear a bustling party in its prime. All she heard was silence. That caused her to grow very suspicious as she walked a bit faster. What she saw only confirmed her suspicions.
The party was a complete wreck. A table was turned over. There was wasted food scattered about. Not to mention the party guests were...dead? No, they're still breathing. They are not dead, but in some kind of deep sleep. The feeling of dense magic was still in the air.
"What happened here?" Ara found herself saying before she nearly tripped over someone. She looked down with a wince before backing up.
"What happened is that they didn't make enough guacamole, nor did they invite me." A voice said before Audrey emerged from seemingly out of nowhere. "That's pretty rude considering this is the land of good and love and kisses." She said with a giggle as the scepter glowed.
Ara glared at the woman. "Audrey." She acknowledged her first. "What have you done with my sister?" She asked in an irate manner.
"Your sister? Oh, hang on." Audrey turned around and looked behind a tree. "Your sister is asking for you-should I leave her a message?" She asked with a playful smirk.
Hazel looked from behind the tree before stepping out. "I don't think that will be necessary." She said with a neutral expression.
Ara blinked at that before growling. "Alright, Audrey. Now release her from whatever twisted spell you have her under!" She said as she glared.
Audrey shrugged before moving the scepter and gently poking Hazel with it. "Is this working? Feel any sudden evil leaving your body? Is your mind suddenly clearing up?" She asked Hazel with a look of feigned curiosity.
Hazel looked at her in a deadpan. "No, but I feel exasperated." She said before saying, "I have not been spelled."
Ara shook her head at that slowly. "No...you have to be. Y-you would never…" That's when she saw the serious look in her sibling's eyes. "Hazel..?" She asked in something close to a whisper.
Hazel did nothing but purse her lips and try her best to keep her expression neutral.
Audrey stepped in front of her and shrugged. "She did and she did it with such determination. There was zero hesitation and I'm happy to call her my partner." She said with a giggle. "So, get over it, Ara. You can't win everytime." She said in a baby tone while the scepter glowed.
Ara looked at Audrey with anger before trying to look at Hazel once more. "Please don't do this. I get it, I should have been there with you, but you're better than this!" She said, trying to catch her sister's rapidly shifting eyes.
Audrey scoffed and blocked her even more. "Really? That's your argument? What's the point of saying "Oh, I should have been there" when it's hollow? You left her to do what? I believe it involved that luxurious party. Your sister got her heart stomped on by those assholes Ben and Mal...and you can't say anything else?" She let out a cold laugh as the scepter began glowing brightly. "How can you be a hero to Auradon when you can't even be a sister?!"
Ara looked down at that before frowning. "I didn't know Ben was going to propose. I didn't even want her to go." She said lowly.
"But she went because, let's see here, the last time you were in the media they called her your sidekick. Not partner, not even sister. They immortalized you as the hero and reduced her to a simple sidekick. And you...have done nothing to change that. You don't go up to the paparazzi and tell them "Hey, she's my sister!" you just laugh and bathe in all of that glorious victory and praise. You wonder why she left, because...you are an asskisser to the media." Audrey said with a laugh as she smirked with her eyes glowing.
"Shut up." Ara snapped as her eyes began to glow and the sky began to darken.
"Make me...oh glorious hero of Auradon." Audrey said with a giggle as she subtly shifted the scepter.
Ara was beyond infuriated at that point. Electricity shot off her body before she said, "I said...SHUT UP!" She said before trying to go after Audrey as lightning struck in the background.
Audrey smirked at that before, within mere seconds, she fired off a blast of green and pink magic that hit Ara head on. "I think the little hero needs her afternoon nap. She gets so upset when she misses it." She said in a mocking voice before she pulled the scepter close to her and smirked at the amount of pink smoke floating around.
When the smoke cleared, it revealed a very dizzy blue-haired baby. She rubbed her eyes before looking down at herself in shock. Ara looked at her clothes. Everything had shrunk down. Even her cape. She waved her chubby arms around as if she couldn't believe they were here. She tried to stand...before falling on her back. Ara babbled something that sounded like a complaint.
Audrey couldn't help but snort as she spied baby Ara complaining. "Be glad I let you keep your clothes. They look too cute on the little hero of the hour." She said in her baby voice before laughing and shaking her head.
While Audrey continued laughing, Mal crept out from her hiding spot and stared at Ara and tried her best to hold back her laughs.
Ara somehow sat up with a pout of aggravation. She cried out in frustration, making a few purple bubbles in the process.
Audrey giggled at that and shook her head. "Aww...I someone powerless as a little baby? Well, at least you are cute like that. Someone will make sure you aren't a little turtle." She said and looked up before she spied Mal. "Ah! It's the purple bitch of the hour! Come on out and join the party!"
Mal coughed to hide a laugh and slowly walked out. "Audrey...I see you did something to...A-Ara…" She said as she smiled even more once she got a better look.
"Oh, please, laugh at her. She makes for quite the entertainment like that." Audrey said with a snicker.
Hazel blinked at that before she displayed a nearly invisible frown. She looked down at her...baby sister with shifting eyes.
Ara was too busy kicking in frustration to do anything. She was barely able to crawl on her hands and knees. "It's amazing how fast rock bottom sneaks up on ya…" She thought as she laid on the ground in a deadpan.
Audrey turned and looked at Mal. "Don't worry, you're still my original target." She said with a smile before promptly hitting her with a magic blast like she had done with Ara.
Unlike Ara, when the smoke cleared...Mal was old...very old. So old in fact that Audrey even gave her a walking stick when she cast the spell.
Baby Ara blinked at that before she began laughing. She laughed so hard she fell on her back again.
Hazel winced at that before smirking as she looked over super old Mal. "May I ask...why an old lady?" She tilted her head.
"Because-Ben will never love an old hag like that." Audrey said with a grin.
Hazel shrugged at that. "True. Whew. I think I'm finally over you." She told super old Mal with a slight smile.
"She didn't age too nicely did she?" Audrey asked casually while rubbing her chin.
Hazel chuckled at that before saying, "Does not look like it. Looks like she could have used more green smoothies in her life." She tapped her chin.
"No moisturizer found for miles." Audrey said with a giggle before looking at Hazel. "Shall we depart before Hades destroys the house?" She asked with a head tilt.
Hazel's expression turned into a deadpan at that. "Yeah...let's go." She nodded at that.
Audrey nodded as well before they both disappeared in pink smoke.
Right after that, everybody else came before practically skidding to a stop.
Jay looked around in shock and curiosity before taking note of the baby and the really...really...really old lady. "Excuse me, miss." He called out to the old woman. "Oh, did you need help?"
Mal turned around and looked at him in a deadpan. "It's Mal...and that's Ara...And Audrey did this to us…" She said slowly.
Ara looked at them...before looking at Mal. She rolled over in laughter again.
Jay blinked at that. "M-Mal!?" He said before looking her over.
Evie rushed over to help her best friend before saying, "Audrey did this? Are you hurt?" She said while George moved to pick up Ara.
Mal shook her head. "No...Audrey used the scepter...And I'm not sure if we can reverse it...They have Hades." She said in her slow manner.
Triple G looked around with a face of worry. "What are we going to do? Mal is…ancient and Ara can barely walk!" He said.
Ara was too busy chewing on her fist with a blank expression.
Carlos nodded in agreement. "Yeah...this is not good." He shook his head.
Evie frowned before saying, "Maybe we should head back and figure out what we can do?" She said, looking around at all of the sleeping guests.
"Only an artifact...stronger than the scepter...can reverse this. With Hades on their side...the only other beings...with that kind of power in their hands...are the other gods…" Mal said while shaking her head.
Carlos shook his head at that. "I don't think we know any of them and we surely can't walk up to them casually." He frowned at that.
"They wouldn't be willing to help...since Hades is free...It was Auradon who was...supposed to keep him locked away." Mal said with a frown.
Deuce rolled his eyes at that. "Well, isn't that fantastic." He said in sarcasm.
Chester raised his paw and said, "Our chances of success are dwindling rapidly." He stated.
Evie sighed at that before saying, "Alright. Everyone. Back to my place. Now!" She said before turning to Mal. "Umm...how are we..? Geo!"
George walked over.
"Trade." Evie said, reaching out for Ara.
George nodded, gave Evie Ara, and picked up Mal instead. Evie and George nodded at each other before heading back in the direction of her home.

Hazel kept a close eye on the god. Hades had already tried to take his anger out on a few things. Hazel just had to make sure it wasn't taken out on his son or on the furniture. At this point, Hazel was tired of cleaning things. Especially since Hades' nose left spots of blood on the floor.
She was more than exasperated by now. It has been a few hours that she had spent with Hades. Hazel mostly made sure he didn't hear up anything, including himself. So she kept a close eye on the dozing god. Watching him out of the corner of her eyes, she readied her magic. The ruby haired girl waited for him to show any sign of sleep.
The god was almost falling over when it was clear that he had fallen asleep. He was out within minutes, surprising considering he didn't need sleep, and looked as though he would be out for quite awhile.
Hazel smirked at that. The girl sprang into action. She stood up before stretching. Once she was ready, she slowly crept over to the god. The sounds of her heels were over her noise limit, so she took them off and sat them down on the floor as quietly as she could.
After that, she approached the god silently. Once she was within range, the danger zone, her eyes glowed a bright blue as she reached out. Despite her nervousness, she had a steady hand. Her hand coated in flames, touched his nose once before his nose instantly returned to its normal color, shape, and stopped bleeding.
Hazel blinked with a wince, seeing if he was going to wake up. When he didn't stir, she sighed from her nose in relief. That's when she turned with the goal of heading back to her area.
She didn't make it very far when Hades awoke and caught her by the wrist. He wasn't holding it tightly, but more in a gentle manner as the god went cross-eyed to try and see his nose.
Hazel gasped at that, turning to him in surprise. She blinked at him in shock, confusion, and caution.
"...Why'd you heal it?" He asked in a confused tone.
Hazel blinked again before she swallowed. "...I...could tell it was a bother...and I had the ability to help." She said, looking at him with slight caution.
"...But why? Nobody else would have done that...Nobody has done anything for me since..Olympus." Hades said with a frown, a hidden sadness appearing in his eyes as he thought of something.
Hazel blinked before sighing. She noticeably calmed down before saying, "I believe that you deserve kindness. You haven't done anything to me...so...why should I be cruel to you?" She clarified with a small smile.
Hades looked down at the floor before frowning. "Over a century…" He said aloud as he kept up his stoic facade.
Hazel frowned at that. Has it really been an entire century? An entire century without the slightest display of kindness? No wonder he's so mean.
Hazel looked to the side as she thought to herself. After an inner war, she did as her instinct commanded and embraced the god in a hug that was cold to the touch. She was determined to make the hug last despite any consequences that may befall her.
Instead of pushing her off, Hades just sat silently and accepted it. After quite some time, he awkwardly moved to hug back like he hadn't done the action ever in his long life.
Hazel blinked in complete shock at that. Instead of saying something, she smiled and enjoyed the hug for a little longer before departing. "I'm going to...go see what's for lunch." She said in a slightly awkward manner.
"You...You go do that." Hades said, seeming lost in thought as he touched his nose tentatively.
Hazel nodded at that before she escaped to the kitchen. She released a breath before thinking over what just happened. She couldn't help but to smile at that.
Hazel decided to put her thoughts aside for the moment. She knocked on Audrey's door before peeking inside the room. "Hey, Audrey. Did you want anything for...you're leaving again?" She asked questionably as she looked at the prepared woman. Hazel walked into the room before closing the door behind her.
Audrey shook her head and placed her hand on her hip. "I just stopped in because...of this." She suddenly stepped out from the other side of the bed to reveal that a kitten of all things was glued to her leg.
Hazel blinked before saying, "Oh...it's a cute one…" She said, completely melting over it.
Audrey sighed as the kitten, a tiny yet extremely fluffy calico maine coon kitten with bright green eyes, tried to climb up her leg. "I was doing...stuff, and it just ran up and did this." She said, lifting her leg to try and shake the kitten off.
Hazel chuckled at that as she walked up to Audrey before being down to look at the cat. "Either it thought you were a scratching post or the scepter attracts kittens."
"If it attracts kittens...Maleficent has a lot to explain." Audrey deadpanned.
Hazel looked up at Audrey. "Do you mind if I...try to remove it?" She asked, her cheeks tinting pink knowing she might touch Audrey's leg in the process.
"Be my guest." Audrey said, not seeming concerned at that as she pulled out her pocket mirror and began checking her makeup.
Hazel smiled before looking at the kitten. "Hey there. You're nothing but a baby, aren't you?" She gently petted the kitten before gradually removing the kitten. "She's a fluffy one." She said, continuing to let the cat.
Audrey shrugged. "What are you going to do with it?" She asked as she applied a bit of foundation.
Hazel looked down at the kitten before smiling. "Can I keep her?" She asked with pleading eyes.
Audrey looked at her for a bit before sighing. "...Again, your responsibility." She said while closing the mirror and grabbing her scepter.
Hazel smiled widely at that. She placed the cat on the ground before saying, "Thank you, Audrey." She said before bringing Audrey into an embrace without much thought.
Audrey blinked in surprise as her cheeks flushed a bit. She patted the girl on the back before pulling away and smiling a bit. "It's...nothing. I should probably get going." She said while looking away.
Hazel, not seeming to notice, picked up the kitten with a wide smile. "Okay. Be back in time for dinner? I have some cool ideas in mind." She said with a grin.
"I will make sure not to take too long." Audrey said with a nod before disappearing from the room.
Hazel looked down at the kitten. "Imma feed you, then name you. How does that sound?" She walked away, talking as if it was a person.
Welcome back guys! Thid is right around the time where I kicked canon to the curb. It was either in this one or the next one, but it got kicked either way Lol.
It is not looking too good for the heroes at the moment. Mal is old and Ara is a...baby? How will Auradon be saved now that Hades is on Audrey's side?
Be prepared for Disney Mythology!
Despite Hazel rooting for the bad guys, she still has a soft spot for hugs and kittens.😂
Thank you for reading! Mera abd I appreciate it! See you in the next one!
