Picking up from the header of the last chapter, Himeragi is (un)surprisingly an ENTP.
"Azu-cchi, I can carry you!"
"Ignore him, Azusa. I'll do it."
"Why are you both here?" Himeragi was experiencing second-hand embarrassment from their actions and everyone in her classroom couldn't stop staring. When she walked out, they followed her like loyal puppies and Kuroko looked at their interaction with a bitter smile. The more he thought of how capable Himeragi was, the worst he felt about his own capabilities. Kuroko couldn't just block Aomine's shots like Himeragi could. His sessions with Akashi were also less helpful, as he was afraid of him, making Akashi's tutelage hard to process.
"You're bothering Azu-chan again? Find a new hobby, Aomine-kun."
"It's got nothing to do with you though, Satsuki."
"Of course it does! We all want Azu-cchi's attention."
"Are you looking for something?"
"Just someone…" Himeragi hummed in response, knowing who Momoi was looking for. It was obvious to them all that Kuroko was avoiding them and Momoi knew the reason behind it.
"If it's Tetsu, leave him be. He'll figure it out."
"It's Kurokocchi so don't worry too much, Momocchi." Because they mentioned his name, Momoi felt tears well in her eyes, as Himeragi quickly told them to leave, having made the situation worse.
"When was the last time you saw him?"
"The day you battled Aomine-kun." Then it was clear what the trigger was. As much as she knew she couldn't help every one of them in the same way, let alone help, Himeragi knew seeing that match made Kuroko feel even worse about his own progress. Himeragi couldn't offer any comforting words at the moment, since she also hadn't seen him since then and just patted her back, letting her hug her. Akashi spotted them and figured it had to do with Kuroko, who he purposely treated sternly. It wasn't necessary to be so draconian but it was also a display for Himeragi, who he knew would understand the underlying meaning. Himeragi couldn't predict which one of them would meet Kuroko alone first but she had a feeling either encounter would end disastrously.
"Let's go to practice okay?" Akashi noticed that Himeragi's gaze was unfocused, as if she suspected what was to come. Although he wouldn't say it, it irritated him that she disregarded her hunches and got herself into troublesome situations, for others.
"Azusa-san, can we talk?" Akashi and Midorima side-glanced, knowing the general trend of the conversation. Himeragi didn't miss their gazes and nodded. Momoi nervously gulped, as the atmosphere between them did not look pleasant in the slightest. When Kuroko sighed, Himeragi braced herself for what was to come. "Azusa-san, no, Himeragi-san, it's enough." Her eyes narrowed. She wished it didn't pan out as predicted and that he fought back against Akashi, even if it was just a little. "What you're doing to bring the team together, please stop it now." She wasn't in the mood to push his buttons either. Although it was a request, it sounded more like a declaration. She could barely feel her sore legs, feeling slightly numb to everything. Her brain made matters worse by simultaneously admitting that she had been using him from the start to bring his teammates together. When he didn't want to and was on the verge of tears, she realized she should have been more realistic, more harsh with how she dealt with the basketball team members. They all began to see relying on her as a weakness and as adolescent boys, they didn't know what else to do but to push her away.
"In your heart, at this moment, do you want me to stop you from giving up?" It was a loaded question, since they both knew the answer he would have given, if someone didn't pay him a visit and crush his hopes. Seeing the interactions between Aomine, who he still hadn't had a proper conversation with, and Himeragi only made it easier for Kuroko to draw the line. There was no place in that scene for him.
"No, I don't want you to do anything, anymore." Himeragi closed her eyes for a moment and mustered up an indifferent look. It looked like she also needed to re-evaluate everything, from what she thought was the best course of action for her friends, to whether or not she should have done anything from the beginning.
"Alright." She mumbled. It would hurt Kuroko further if she was headstrong about this. "I'm sorry for not looking out for your feelings back then and now, Kuroko-kun." He winced when he heard her call him formally as well. He knew that he shouldn't have thought that she was disappointed in him because she was likely not but Kuroko couldn't shake off those thoughts. Because he chose to be weak, Kuroko couldn't look Himeragi in the eyes anymore.
"Don't apologize when your expectations of me were not met. Don't comfort someone that is no match for you!" She looked him in the eye, expecting him to vent. "From the beginning, you couldn't have understood my feelings, Himeragi-san. So, from now on, please leave me alone." When he treated her like someone that was so vastly different from him, he hurt her much more than when he told her to stop trying to reconcile the team. When he headed back to practice first, Himeragi was left to her own thoughts. When Himeragi finally processed that his words hurt her, she gripped her forearm, to stop herself from trembling.
"Vice-President." Himeragi was surprised by his arrival, expecting him to have kept his distance, even if he knew Kuroko's next moves. Her bangs covered her eyes when she looked away but it was clear that she was upset. But she couldn't say it because it was stating the obvious. It's not like she didn't know how devastating the talk could have turned out, given Kuroko's wretched look.
"I won't meddle. But it's not about that, is it?"
"Do you have to choose to be hurt?" She didn't look up because she was afraid she'd cry if she saw Akashi's face and he didn't search for her eyes because he was afraid he'd embrace her.
"If I didn't know better, I'd think you're worried about me." When he didn't respond, she concealed her emotions under the guise of a closed eyes and mouth smile, before walking back to the gym as well. It did confuse her a bit, why he would ask her that, when he chose not to care for her but the issue at hand wasn't one that anyone could single handedly fix either. Akashi combed his bangs back and brushed away sweat on his temple. He wasn't prepared for more than just him hurting Himeragi. If his goal was to protect her by staying away, then what was he to do when his teammates were hurting her too?
"Satsuki…" Himeragi wished that her unspoken pleas would get through to Momoi but knew it futile. When Momoi held her hands and begged her to talk to Kuroko again, Himeragi didn't know how to say no, without hurting Momoi further.
"Tetsu-kun won't even look at any of us anymore…"
"Would you prefer if he voiced his feelings?" Momoi nodded, not knowing that Kuroko already did so, in the form of yelling at Himeragi with thoughts that only made him close himself off even more. He wouldn't shout at Momoi because she was more delicate and also didn't do particularly anything to offend him.
"Please… If it's Azu-chan, you can make Tetsu-kun feel welcomed. You can make him smile again!"
"But that's not the problem… right?" Trying to tone down her bluntness, she looked away. Momoi's eyes watered, knowing that she was asking a lot and that Himeragi was physically exhausted. But if she saw Kuroko's pained expression anymore than she already did, Momoi would burst out in a sob. With none of their other friends making a move to help one another, she could only ask Himeragi.
"Why do you work so hard for Aomine-kun and not Tetsu-kun?" It was one unexpected attack after another with two people she wanted to protect. When Himeragi's eyes widened, Momoi held her shoulders. "Tetsu-kun is important to all of us so why?!" Momoi knew it was irrational to ask this of Himeragi and to yell at her for taking a step back.
"Satsuki, we can't nudge them in a direction right now. If they can't figure out what they want, shackling them with our emotions won't help either." She tried to express it as kindly as possible but Momoi understood the more serious meaning. But what more could Himeragi say? Kuroko didn't want her to do anything and if she didn't respect his wishes, he'd cry? If she talked to him, she worried that he'd lash out? It all pointed to giving him time to himself and as Himeragi thought that was unproductive, she knew that this time around, Kuroko's emotions would shatter further if she tried to help him.
"Why can't you do anything… Why can we only wait…" Saying "I can't" would make Momoi inconsolable so she stayed quiet, letting Momoi continue yelling at her. Those were the questions she asked herself and unfortunately she still had no answer. "If you're just going to allow things to fall apart, then you aren't the Azu-chan I know!" When her best friend ran off, Himeragi just stood there, with remorse written all over her face. More often than ever, she found herself wanting to say something but instead, keeping those words trapped in her heart. Momoi ran up the stairs, knowing it was dangerous but she couldn't think properly, loathing herself for taking out her anger on Himeragi.
"Momoi-san?" He was both the person she wanted to see the most and perhaps the one she didn't want to see the most. When he held her shoulders to steady her, she grabbed onto his blazer and leaned her head on his shoulder. As opposed to his coldness with Himeragi, Kuroko couldn't bring himself to act the same way with Momoi. He knew it was wrong to take out his frustrations on Himeragi and to use the fact that she'd just tolerate it. Kuroko quickly stopped himself from comforting Momoi, as it was also wrong of him to lead her on.
"Let's go get vanilla milkshakes after practice today?"
"I'm sorry, I can't." When he didn't even cite a reason, Momoi clutched his shirt even more tightly.
"You're not happy these days… Won't you talk to anyone about it?" It was of his own volition but he lost someone that would listen to his worries because he succumbed to his bitterness with the team, filled with talented people. It was an uncharacteristic move for someone as placid as him and even though Himeragi knew, she let him act that way.
"I don't deserve to, not after the tantrum I threw." Even now, Kuroko wouldn't let her get closer to him and Momoi regretted how she tried to have someone else break this wall down for her when she was the one that liked Kuroko.
"That promise we made… Do you still remember it?" He wished she didn't ask and she wished he would answer immediately, even if it wasn't the answer she wanted. Unfortunately, as much as he didn't want to hurt her, Kuroko couldn't tell her the truth because he wasn't capable of fulfilling that promise, not right now. He just wasn't strong enough to handle being the glue that kept the Generation of Miracles together.
"I'm sorry." Momoi clenched her hands together, not wanting to give away that she was quivering and that her heart was in pain. "That promise… What was it again?" Momoi couldn't fault him for choosing to forget, after having to shoulder so much burden, standing on the same court as someone like Aomine and not complaining. With those feelings in mind, she smiled up at Kuroko, a move that broke his heart too.
"Don't worry about it then, Tetsu-kun. Don't be late for practice today okay?" He nodded and she let go of his blazer, even though she wanted to tell him not to forget their happy memories and to not give up hope. When he was out of sight, Momoi couldn't hold in her tears anymore, crouching down and holding the lower half of her face with her hand to stifle her cries. Kuroko picked up on it, admonishing himself for not being able to accomplish anything but hating himself and hurting others along the way.
"I've made two girls cry… I'm the worst." Just thinking back to how they hid their pain and didn't criticize him, Kuroko also shed a tear. They both were too kind. Aomine watched Momoi continue to cry and thought back to the situation he wanted to avoid. If no one paid much attention to one another, then no one would start the blaming game. But as soon as all of these negative emotions were let loose, everyone, in some capacity, got hurt. As her childhood friend, he knew her habits and broke her fall, glad that she fainted before she processed that Aomine was the one to help her.
"What a pain." Aomine said, describing the entire situation. Even if there wasn't blame being passed around, there was one person in particular that would assume responsibility when she didn't have to. "Geez… you and Azusa. What are we going to do with you both?" After wiping a stray tear away with his thumb, he looked towards the door. Momoi was in no condition to attend practice but Aomine knew Himeragi could manage alone. What he originally thought of as an inevitable thing, became a source of worry when he tried to imagine Himeragi's true reaction to their disintegrating team. Momoi was already here crying herself to sleep. But what was Himeragi feeling? "Damn it… Since you two are so smart, why couldn't you stay out of this?"
"Himeragi, Aomine is here to see you."
"Did something happen?"
"Momoi collapsed and she's resting in the infirmary now." Himeragi's expression turned grim. Momoi's run-in with Kuroko happened earlier than expected. Consequently Momoi was not prepared for the emotional backlash. Midorima could see how visibly shaken she was by the news, even though she was almost always levelheaded. He had to head back to the drill exercise but he wanted to ascertain one thing before he left.
"Himeragi—"
"Satsuki's fine." Aomine was becoming bored of waiting and joined the conversation, to Midorima's annoyance. At least for the moment, he and Aomine could agree that they didn't want Himeragi to be overly stressed. When Sanada called for him, Midorima sighed.
"Your notes are sufficient. Take a break, Himeragi." Even though Aomine offered to walk her to the benches to sit, she declined because she worried that if she sat down, she wouldn't want to get back up. Her usually unwavering gaze was distracted, as there were probably many thoughts swimming around in her mind. Recalling that Momoi yelled at her before seeing Kuroko, Aomine could guess what happened.
"How are your legs?"
"If you'd like a kick, you can just ask."
"No I really don't want one." It came out as more of a plea. When she didn't respond and only watched Kuroko run, Aomine sighed in exasperation.
"Look, I know you're fine because you're always fine but quit feeling like everything is your responsibility." It was a blunt way of putting it but Himeragi figured he knew what happened with Kuroko.
"Being unable to do anything for people I care about when they are so obviously sad… It's suffocating." It was in her nature to recognize her duty to those she held as important. He couldn't relate, as he usually ignored that magnanimous duty.
"You may think that you're guilty of whatever happened but I'm hundreds of times more guilty." Murasakibara glanced over at Himeragi, who glanced at Aomine with a puzzled expression. "So don't beat yourself up about it."
"It's as if you're purposely saying strange things to make me rethink." When he patted her head, she didn't resist. After enduring not saying anything to Kuroko or Momoi, she couldn't help but shoulder blame, when she never wanted to become an apologetic person that could only look on as things fell apart.
"You're always calling me impatient but right now, you're rushing yourself so slow down." A snarky remark didn't come immediately so he just watched her.
"Not sure where you learned it, but your use of figurative language has improved, Aomine."
"Shut up." With Aomine's words, Himeragi was able to clear her head and think of what she wanted to do, regardless of the situation: she wanted to see Momoi. With her mind made up to visit her in the infirmary after practice ended, Himeragi stepped behind Aomine and rested her back on his, a move the rest of the starters saw. Although it wasn't her usual smile, they could see her improved mood.
"Thanks, Aomine." He smirked, not disliking her roundabout way of showing gratitude.
"It'll cost you."
"I'd like to think you owe me much more."
"... Crap." Just when he was going to apologize for his behavior, she stepped away.
"I don't want an apology, Aomine." It could have been just his imagination but he thought she would have said that she wanted the team to be together over any apology. Himeragi headed toward Akashi to hand him the clipboard while telling Aomine not to be late for practice next week. "Being hurt is a consequence I'll shoulder." she whispered. He was the only one she was able to look in the eye but he didn't want to see her after hearing those words. Akashi knew she would handle it herself and disliked that he was tempted to tell her not to because he didn't want her to get hurt.
"Do what you want."
"So now you condone inane behavior."
"Because it doesn't have anything to do with me, anymore." Momoi was fast asleep in the infirmary and Aomine went to the Third String gym to chill for another half hour before he would pick her up. Even though she was sleeping, she was still sniffling. When she told her not to hide her feelings, it was more of an expectation that the boys were weak to Momoi's crying face. But even making their manager cry wouldn't be enough to glue them together.
"I wanted to say I'm sorry, especially since I can't cry with you. I can't comfort you and as it stands, I can't even bring myself to talk the way I normally do with them." These kinds of times didn't come too often for Himeragi, who always busied herself solving problems. She sat down on the stool and watched Momoi sleep. "I'm sorry I used you to pave the way to their hearts." she whispered, admitting that she was trying to play mastermind, trying to create favorable events without needing to directly get involved.
"Tetsu-kun…" Time and time again, Himeragi admired how devoted Momoi was to Kuroko. She lamented that she couldn't comfort Momoi immediately after Kuroko broke her heart. As Momoi's eyebrows furrowed and she expressed discomfort on her face, Himeragi ruffled her hair.
🎵🎵🎵 When tomorrow comes
I'll be on my own
Feeling frightened of
The things that I don't know
When tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
And though the road is long
I look up to the sky
And in the dark I found,
I lost hope that I won't fly
And I sing along, I sing along
And I sing along
I got all I need when I got you and I
I look around me, and see a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me, getting me through the night
Kick start my heart when you shine it in my eyes
Can't lie, it's a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me, getting me through the night
'Cause you're my flashlight
You're my flashlight
You're my flashlight 🎵🎵🎵
"Indeed, it's hard to get up…" Himeragi wondered what was the matter with herself these days. Launching herself into situations when she was already fatigued was not an intelligent move. When Himeragi stood up from the stool, her legs felt even worse than before. Himeragi knew she shouldn't have given into Aomine's request because it would be a burden on her limbs but she didn't expect to be so tired. She could stay to finish work but she risked not being able to get up if she sat down again. Deciding to finish the work at home and send it as an email attachment, Himeragi patted Momoi's head once more before leaving.
"Azu-chin."
"What is it Mukkun?" It was also apparent to him that her legs were aching but he wasn't one to show concern. But after seeing her not smile like she normally did, it did make him curious. She wanted the team to be together and she was also sensible but which way was she leaning more toward?
"Are you and Aka-chin okay?"
"We still talk but it's not the same as before." Murasakibara didn't know why he asked such an obvious question. He just felt that part of Himeragi's dampened spirits had to do with Akashi. He wasn't wrong. "It's more of a stack than a queue huh*…"
It's more of a stack than a queue huh* - This will be explained later on but Himeragi is referring to the algorithms in which these two data structures execute objects. Stacks operate as a Last in first out (LIFO) and queues operate as First in first out (FIFO).
"Is that something Aka-chin should hear?"
"Don't worry about others Mukkun. You'll tire yourself out." When she was ready to say goodbye to him, Murasakibara stepped closer with a displeased look on his face.
"Yeah I don't like this team one bit." When he pouted, Himeragi was tempted to pat his head but restrained herself. "Every day I'm a sweaty mess and envy Kise-chin and Mine-chin, who got left off the hook. With Kuro-chin's bad mood these days, it's way better that we all don't get along." He omitted the most important part of his thoughts because Himeragi wouldn't listen. She wouldn't listen to the rationalizations that she should leave them all alone because if any of them came to her, she couldn't give them the cold shoulder. Himeragi took his hand and deposited a bag of cookies on his palm.
"You don't have to like the team. Just take care of yourself okay?" He understood but in his heart, he wished she reprimanded him for being a brat or for not worrying about his friends. Even if he wasn't a caring person by nature, with her influence, he cared more than he ever would have, about Kuroko for example.
"We don't want to return to the way we were before so… please don't do anything, Azu-chin." Following Kuroko's unusual outburst, Murasakibara's similar words hurt too. There was a sincere tone in his voice and although it came from a place of concern, Murasakibara ultimately didn't care for the team dynamic either.
"Hm, Murasaki-cchi? Azu-cchi? What's going on?"
"I was just visiting Satsuki and Mukkun caught me before I left."
"I heard that Momocchi fainted. I didn't think she'd be so stressed about this situation, to be honest."
"She's an honest girl after all."
"And you aren't?" Now that they were alluding to it, Kise was curious about her thoughts on the split between the Generation of Miracles.
"I'm more blunt."
"Because you're dishonest about the things that matter the most!" Murasakibara agreed but after saying what he just said, he didn't really have a reason to chime in. "We won't go back to the way we were. You know that, right?" Himeragi nodded her head, as Kise realized a second too late that he said something potentially hurtful. But Himeragi couldn't react because standing in front of her were two people who couldn't console her if she cried. When they already didn't care, why would they have to care just because someone else did?
"There's only one thing I want right now. That is, for you two to not say those words to Satsuki." Even if they had no plans of it, she reminded them just in case they accidentally uttered something along those lines. "I'm not protecting her from the inevitable split. Satsuki just doesn't need to hear it explicitly." It was a true statement but Kise was the one that became upset.
"Whatever this is right now, is not a team. We're better off on our own." Himeragi felt her heart constrict. In the span of only a few days all of them gave her the same complaint and she didn't know if she could handle reiterations of the same sentence or hearing it from the last friend who hadn't said it yet, Midorima.
"Okay." Rather than a response, it was her way of calming her racing heart. She just wanted to go home. "I'm not trying to change your minds."
"Why not?!" Their outbursts were surprising because they didn't mean to say anything. As soon as she respected their wishes, they regretted it. Himeragi wasn't amused either. If they were going to say fallacious things, then she wouldn't listen.
"See you, Mukkun, Kise." She said, walking down the stairs. They watched her back view, not knowing why they always went to her with grievances and like kids, wanted her to say something to make them feel better.
"I wonder who Azu-chin's flashlight is."
" 'Flashlight'?" Murasakibara was too lazy to explain and yawned on his way down the stairs as well.
"Hm? Satsuki, you're not going home with Azusa?" Momoi had been avoiding Himeragi since yelling at her, still unable to look her in the eyes, out of guilt. Himeragi didn't want to force anything and turned to leave before being stopped.
"Vice-President! We have a strange case!" With all the troubles from the basketball team these days, Himeragi almost forgot that Disciplinary Committee work always piled in. When she saw her touch the side of her head with her hand, her friend worried for her health.
"What's wrong? Does your head hurt?" She immediately approached Himeragi, hoping it wasn't a headache. As one of her most trusted aides, she knew Himeragi's health wasn't the best these days.
"No, I'm fine. What happened?" Momoi stared for a second too long, knowing that Himeragi was still not fully recovered. Although she ultimately went home with Aomine, she was still unhappy with the current situation. Even asking Himeragi if she visited her in the infirmary was too awkward at the moment.
"One of our committee members met a male student that was degrading a girl for accepting someone else's gift. The person in question called it 'playful bullying'."
"There's no such thing." She no longer felt sleepy after hearing such nonsense.
"He's not listening to any of us and is throwing a tantrum about being written up." Compared to the basketball team players that were turning more taciturn as the days passed, this fellow seemed like much more work. Akashi was also in the room, having been at the scene too.
"If you speak with her, you'll understand that this is all a misunderstanding!" Akashi and Himeragi didn't look convinced and while she read the misdemeanor report, Akashi spoke.
"Why should we trouble her when you already did?" He faltered, because Akashi's gaze was downright frightening.
"I'm telling you once again, this is a common occurrence between the two of us!"
"Shall I should you write up for more than one offense then?" Himeragi interjected, approaching the end of what she needed to know to wrap up the matter.
"I don't actually hate her! This incident in particular, I let my jealousy of how well-liked she is—No I mean, she thinks I hate her when in actuality, I do really like her. I've liked her for years." To the girls in the room, it sounded more like whining and far too long for a girl to have to endure terrible treatment.
"So you're telling me that you did all of this, made her think that you hate her, because you were envious of her this entire time? You imbecile." The boys were shocked by her word choice and gasped with wide eyes, retreating to the other end of the table. Akashi side-glanced. It got the job done but he didn't expect her to be so impassioned about it. "You think this is some novel where you still get the girl even though you're just some jealous, idiotic fool?"
*Note - but this is just a story lmao, but hey, empowering movements start from the common press no?
"I do love her!" But that wasn't the point of this discussion.
"I'm neither a love counselor nor Cupid so I don't have any kind words to spare. She ultimately chooses who she wants to be with." Her committee members agreed with her. If he really loved her, he would respect her choice, especially after warping his feelings for her with jealousy.
"That's right. You had your reasons for antagonizing her for being so kind and now you have to understand that she has a right to whatever choice she makes." Himeragi didn't miss the purposeful stares at her, feeling how much her committee wanted her to drop the basketball team. Akashi also picked up on the underlying meaning, admitting that he hadn't thought of the possibility that Himeragi would resign as second manager.
"Be warned that the second offense is not just a warning but a meeting with your homeroom teacher, the same one that teaches the female student you are harassing." After sufficiently scaring him, the room was left in silence, as they all wondered what to say, as the Vice-President and President didn't have anything to say to each other.
"Vice-President, you're not feeling well right? Please head home first." It was too obvious that they were planning something but because they weren't malicious people, Himeragi let it go. If anything, she could deal with it early Monday morning.
"See you all next week." Without thinking, she smiled as she always did, something Akashi hadn't seen in a while. He didn't show a visible reaction, although he noted that she refused to show that kind of smile at basketball practice. When the coast was clear, the committee members turned to Akashi. They were scared of getting on his nerves but they believed he identified with their cause too.
"We know it's a misuse of Himeragi-san's signature and seal of approval but we'd like your permission to have her take three days off from being a manager!" It was certainly not a request he'd grant but since it pertained to Himeragi, he didn't give an immediate answer. From the soreness to her holding her forearm to stop herself from showing weakness, he knew how hard she worked to act like she was alright. Akashi only saw her side profile after Kuroko hurt her but he could imagine the look on her face that she didn't want him to see. He couldn't trust himself or his teammates to take care of her. While they were making her sad, she had six people in the room, willing to bow and ask for her break on her behalf.
"The second signature must come from our head coach." The students sighed, recalling that Sanada was one of the stricter coaches. It was probably not a stretch to say that he didn't know about Himeragi's fatigue or cared for it, for that matter. "I'll speak with him." He said, taking the completed form with him. They were shocked by his initiative and thanked him profusely. They knew she would yell at them on Monday but they could handle a lecture if it meant that she could catch a break. Since he couldn't give into his feelings and continued to act cold when he saw her, Akashi found that this was the only way he could protect her, from her own hardworking tendencies. He was even more certain of his choice when he saw Himeragi scrutinizing a group of girls that were bothered by Aomine and Momoi walking home together.
"I fear that before I can fully let you go, this will break you."
GoM as Kant quotes ಠ◡ಠ ಠ▃ಠ ◉_◉ ఠ_ఠ
Guys, I'm not a philosophy major, this Kant thing happened on a whim…
Kuroko: An action, to have moral worth, must be done from duty.
Aomine: The light dove, in free flight cutting through the air the resistance of which it feels, could get the idea that it could do even better in airless space.
Kise: The busier we are, the more acutely we feel that we live, the more conscious we are of life.
Midorima: Thoughts without content are empty, intuitions without concepts are blind.
Murasakibara: What then is it which justifies virtue or the morally good disposition, in making such lofty claims? (cuz he hates goody two shoes)
Akashi: How then is perfection to be sought? Wherein lies our hope? In education, and in nothing else.
Momoi: Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is mere intellectual play.
Bonus - Himeragi: Dignity is a value that creates irreplaceability.
