(10:35am) 18 minutes later…
Summer Bay – Tony and Rachel's House – Living Room/Kitchen
Tony who had failed to convince Charlie not to go on the search had just arrived home and was talking to Ricky.
"Don't you think it's incredible how quickly Amanda's finances came through?" Ricky said as she entered the house after her neighbour "Considering all the trouble me and Brax had."
Putting his keys in the bowl beside the door, Tony replies: "Well, I don't think you and Brax are really in the same league as Amanda though."
"Still." Ricky replied just as Matilda entered the room "Hey Matilda."
"Hi." The teen replies.
"Hey Mattie, don't forget we have your appointment at the hospital in an hour." Tony tells her from the Kitchen.
"I know." Matilda says "Em, where's Lucas as he was meant to go over some school stuff with me."
"I haven't seen him." Tony replies "Is Rachel not here as she might know?"
"No, she went out earlier this morning no idea where though. I guess they've both done a disappearing act." Matilda laughs as she looks out the window.
At the same time…
Summer Bay – The Beach – Beside the Boats
"Are you sure?" Lucas asks his ex-girlfriend as he didn't really believe what she had told him "I mean are you really sure, because sometimes these things can be wrong."
"It's not wrong." Lee cries as she shakes her head "Trust me, I've checked."
"I'm sorry. This is, this is so confusing. I…"
"I don't know what to do, Lucas."
"Maybe we should go talk to someone."
"No! No."
"Look, I'll come with you and we can explain everything."
"No, please. Please you've got to promise me that you're not going to tell anyone."
"But I don't think…"
"No or, or I'm out here." Lee states to him.
"Ok, I promise it will only be our secret." Lucas said not wanting her to run away.
Crying still, Lee places her head and on Lucas' shoulder and the two of them just watch the scene in front of them without saying anything else.
(11:19am) 44 minutes later…
In the Middle of The Bush
After an hour of walking and in Xavier's case hopping while being helped, the group are still walking through the bush. Even though they were meant to be following Colby, he was too busy helping Xavier so instead leading the pack was Ryan.
As they were going over a couple of rocks Belle slipped and fell forward into Ryan.
"Are you ok?" Both Ryan and Kyle ask her.
"Yeah." Belle replies as she stands up.
"Here, sit down." Ryan instructs her while they wait for the others to catch up.
"Belle, are you sure your ok?" Kyle questions her "It's just you've been pretty quiet since Colby had a go at you back there."
Looking at the direction they came from, Belle sighed: "I didn't mean to hurt Xavier. I swear I didn't."
"Of course, you didn't." Ryan says listening to her "It was an accident."
"He's right and beside Bianca was also involved. So, I don't understand why Colby only had a go at you and not her." Kyle huffed as he sat down beside her.
"Let's not worry about that now." Ryan states "But, I do agree that you didn't deserve him shouting at you either."
"Don't worry, that I can handle as I've been through much worse." Belle quickly says as the others finally catch up "Xavier's in total agony and it's all because of me."
"No Belle, it's because of this stupid accident. So, don't beat yourself up." Kyle says placing a kiss on her forehead.
With that the three start to move again as the others where right behind them.
"Do you want to rest?" Rocco said as he notices how much Xavier was struggling to walk even with Colby's help.
Shaking his head in response, Xavier continues to hop through the bush.
"We should stop." Colby automatically says as he sees how much pain the teen is in.
"No." Xavier quickly replies.
Ignoring him, Colby shouts ahead to the others: "Guys, we need a break back here!"
Ryan, Kyle and Belle all look back when they hear Colby shout.
"Well, what's going on?" Ryan asks as he walks over to them.
"He's got a busted ankle, what do you reckon?" Colby said as he helps Xavier to sit on the rock that Belle had just been sat on.
Looking around then back at Xavier, Ryan says: "This isn't working."
"I just need a minute. I'll be fine." Xavier informs him.
Noticing the place of the sun in the sky through the trees, Ryan said: "The sun's getting higher and hotter."
They all look up when he says that and notice the sun's position.
"We move again in twenty." Ryan eventually says taking his bag of his back.
They all just watch as he flings his stuff on the ground and goes to look around a bit.
Kyle had flung himself on the ground when Ryan said they are having a break. Noticing Bianca walking over to him Kyle turns away.
"Don't do that." Bianca said sitting down next to him.
"Don't do what?" Kyle questioned her with a smirk on his face.
"You know what. I was just wondering if you had taken you tablet this morning?"
"Yes!"
"And you still have two and half left?"
"Yes!"
"Kyle?"
"What?!" Kyle yells her "Seriously, what do you want Bianca?"
Everyone looks at the two of them, bracing themselves for another argument.
"I'm concerned about you that's all Kyle."
"Yeah, well don't be!"
"Your technically my brother now, so I have a right to be."
"No, I'm not. I'm not related to you at all so just leave me alone." Kyle says standing up to move away from her when he swayed a little bit.
Grabbing his arm, Bianca pulled it back quickly: "Kyle, you're really hot."
"Of course I am, it's hot out here in the bush!" Kyle chooses to remind her.
"And your swaying so, sit down before you fall down." Bianca demands.
Before Kyle can reply he goes as white as a sheet and put his hand over his mouth.
Noticing what was about to happen Bianca quickly moved out the way as Kyle threw up again. Everyone turned away to give him some privacy except for Belle who rushed over to help him.
"It's ok Kyle." Belle says rubbing his back with her good hand.
Kyle doesn't say anything instead he just heaves.
"He's getting worse." Belle says to Bianca forgetting about their argument this morning.
"I know but there's not much we can do out here when the issue is his medication." Bianca points out to her "He only has two and half left so, we can't give him anymore just in case we are out here longer."
"And if he runs out before they find us?"
"We'll cross the bridge when it comes to it, but right now we just need him to take one of these." Bianca said shaking the anti-nausea tablet bottle.
Giving one to Kyle, she makes sure he swallows it before putting the bottle back in the first aid bag.
"Is he alright?" Colby asks as he walks over carefully dodging the vomit.
"I'll be fine." Kyle pants as he tries to get his breathing back under control.
Nodding to both Bianca and Ryan, Colby walks away from the group with the other two following.
"He's getting worse, isn't he?" Ryan whispers to Bianca once they had moved.
"Yeah he is." She replies, "I honestly don't know how much longer he's going to be able to go on."
"Same with Xavier." Colby agrees "He's in a lot of pain and trying to walk on this ground isn't helping."
"So, any ideas?" Ryan asks.
"Nope, the thing with Kyle is the quicker we are found the better he'll be. Whereas with Xavier his ankle ain't going to cause as much problems as Kyle's condition will."
"Bianca?" Colby says as he was curious to know something.
"What?"
"Is there a possibility that Kyle's heart could stop beating?"
Bianca doesn't say anything she just looks at the pair.
"There is, isn't there?" Ryan quickly said.
"Yes, but I don't think saying anything to the other three will help the situation. God knows what Belle would do if she knew."
"Someone else might go over a cliff." Colby says.
"Stop it. That's seriously not helping right now." Bianca tells him "I think the best thing is to just keep moving for as long as possible till we at least find more water or food."
They all agree with that statement and just continue to watch what the teens are all doing.
