"So the Ninth had no plans of changing the successor because Xanxus doesn't have the Vongola blood."

A frown played on Ino's face as she nodded her head at Naruto. The whiskered teen let out a sigh and looked down at her bottle of ice tea before flickering her eyes at the other members of Team Ten. Shikamaru stroke his chin, eyes fixated on the sleeping blond-haired male on her living room floor while Choji chowed down on the lunch that she made for everyone.

Of all the things that I thought of, I never thought he was adopted. The blonde grimaced and rubbed the back of her neck. That piece of news was not something Basil informed Haku, which either meant CEDEF did not know or he saw no reason to mention it. Well it didn't matter in the end if you asked her because in the end she was going to stop this pointless fight.

"You shouldn't forget that he also shoved his father into a robot just so he can die," Ino added. Platinum blond eyebrows knitted together and the 15-year-old girl took a rather large gulp of her own ice tea. "And put a fake in place of his adopted father, promising him that if he did a good job of acting as the ninth then he would reward him."

All because his old man wouldn't recognize him as a possible heir. It was pathetic. So what if he couldn't inherit the title? At least he had been given the love of a man who treated him like a son. Did the bastard realize how many people would kill for that? But no, he was greedy. Instead of just teaching Tsuna of what the job entitled, he decided to steal it for himself.

But then again humans are greedy little things, aren't they? Naruto took a sip of her ice tea and looked down at the smooth edges of her desk. Nothing was ever going to be good enough for them. The more kindness a person showed, the more a person took advantaged it. She snorted. Now that she knew what was the cause of the whole fight, the whole thing now sounded like a temper tantrum thrown by a spoiled brat.

"What else did you find out, Ino?" Dark blue eyes focused on the platinum blond, inspecting the girl for anymore information that could be useful for them. Was there anything else for them to consider? It was already clear Xanxus was a smart man. He planned everything down to put everyone in a tight bind. The whole situation was messy if you asked her.

He wants to kill his father but the one thing I don't understand is what will happen if one of the guardians defeat the robot? Xanxus was not someone she pictured who would give up easily. His actions showed that much of his personality so what would happen if plan A does not work? What would be his plan B? There had to be another way for him to gain the spot even if he lose.

"I found out about some cradle situation," Ino admitted. Naruto jerked her head away from her drink and raised her eyebrow at her childhood bully. The girl knitted her eyebrows together and stirred her glass. "I don't understand what that situation means but I think it is related to the reason for why he has around eight years' worth of memories in a single building."

Naruto frowned. "What does that mean?"

"It means he is just experience the same thing over and over again," Ino answered with a frown. The platinum-blond haired teen leaned against her chair, poked her tongue against her cheeks and knitted her eyebrows together. "It is the first time I had ever seen something like this when I use that jutsu and let me tell you that I use it a lot to help out my Dad with his own interrogations."

For someone to experience the same thing over and over again sounds like hell. Appropriate for someone like Xanxus but what exactly happened to him in those eight years? That was something she would probably have to question Iemitsu. He probably would be more interested to what was happening since his own ally was now slowly dying inside of a robot.

A part of her actually did want to give Xanxus props for what he did while another part of her wanted to throttle him for his petty reasons of starting this fight. He managed to hid his father in the best location and found some moron who was more than willing to act as the Ninth. Maybe if she was not here, the man would have accomplished his goals.

A loud snore boomed through the living room, forcing Naruto to tear her eyes away from her drink and to glare at her forced guest. Ken hugged her clean, new cushion like it was his lifeline. Drool dripped out of his mouth and slammed right into her pillow. The whiskered teen grinded her teeth as her eyes locked on her dirtied couch cushion before flickering down on the wooden floor that Ken decided to sleep on.

As soon as that mongrel woke up from his sleep, she was going to charge him and make him clean the cover till it was spotless. She gave the Pineapple's subordinates three simple rules to follow: do the chores, don't dirty any of her belonging and never eat her instant ramen. It was so simple that even a baby could understand it. But it seemed like Ken could not keep to rule number two.

"Why do you have more people in the apartment, Naruto?" Shikamaru asked. Your apartment doesn't have enough space for ten people was left unsaid but it was as clear as daylight. The blonde scowled and folded her arms against her chest as her eyes fixated on the one forced tenant who refused to sleep on the futon that she provided for him.

Naruto inhaled and forced herself to give the male a forced smile. "I was forced to take them in."

As soon as this Varia mess is over, I will get my revenge on that Pineapple bastard. It was one thing to pay her but to threaten her survival was unacceptable. Did the bastard not understand of the fact that the Akatsuki were dangerous? Or that a whole innocent town could be destroyed because of him? There was also the fact she did not want her status to be revealed without permission.

I want to decide who knows about me and the Kyuubi! It had been a miracle that not once had Yamamoto or Sawada questioned her on what she meant about the monster or what happened on her birthday. Hibari would never question her since he respected the fact that there were just some things she was not ready to talk about.

But at one point she would have to tell him, not because they were in a relationship but because she trusted him. If Mukuro knew of what she was then he would probably taunt her about it. He might even threaten to tell Sawada or Hibari about it. He really put her in a messy situation by knowing what she was.

"You are being blackmailed, aren't you?" The concern leaking out of Shikamaru's voice made Naruto pause and she tore her eyes away from the sleeping guest, choosing to focused on her skipping buddy. Was he actually concern for her? Well he shouldn't be. She could take care of this little inconvenience.

Black eyes continued to inspect her as if he would know the answer if he looked right into her eyes. Maybe it would have worked when they were children. As a little girl, it had been easy for her to express all of her emotions but right now she did not want anyone to know how a Pineapple bastard got the better of her.

For the first time since she came to Namimori, someone managed to do the impossible and threatened her. Not just threaten me but made me feel a fear that I haven't felt since coming here. She wanted to clench her fist and smash it against the wall but it would wake Jiraiya up. It would admit that Shikamaru was right and that there was something she was terrified about.

I just want to live my life as free as anyone else and live the life that I want.

"You guys might have done a job well done but it doesn't mean I have to answer to anything," Naruto finally answered. Her chest tightened and the blonde steadied her trembling arms as her blue eyes locked onto them. "Since you gave me the information and the fact that you haven't pester me in the last couple of months means you are forgiven…but it doesn't mean I am going to open up again."

That felt wrong for her and she did not want to force herself to open up like six years' worth of bad memories never happened. That worked in a fantasy novel or maybe in a couple of comics but this was real life. Real life meant there was just some pain that could never be completely forgotten. That there was still some pain inside of her that was still raw from what she went through.

The members of Team Ten exchanged glances before nodding their heads. Not a single one of them tried to open their mouth to tell her that she was in the wrong for saying this. Shikamaru and Choji looked at her with understanding as if they knew what she meant. She wanted to tell them that they did not understand but it would be expressing a lot of emotions.

She was not ready for it.

Beep.

Naruto shook her head and blinked at Hibari's contact popping up in her screen. She pressed on his contact and her lips curled into a small frown at the message. Little Fox, I'm on my way back to Namimori. I will be back by tonight. Her heart soared at the fact that he was done with his training but her stomach also churned at the realization that he was coming back.

He was definitely not going to be happy about the fact there were intruders in the school and he was definitely going to be pissed off with her. I should tell him now. This was his school and to leave him in the dark was disrespectful. But he might demand to know why none of his committee members stopped them.

It took you long enough, Hibari. She sent the message and looked down at her phone. How was she going to explain everything to him? But maybe his tutor informed him. He would tell him by now, wouldn't he? The man could not be stupid enough not to tell Hibari. No, his instructor must have told him and explained everything.

The instructor couldn't possibly think that Hibari was never going to find out.

"What brings you here to my house, Naruto?"

Naruto looked away from the stormy clouds and focused her attention on the man, who agreed to support her organization. His brown eyes flashed with curiosity as the evening rain pondered against the roof of his house. The heavy pondering of the rain alongside the grey stormy clouds echoed the heaviness in her heart.

Was it heavy because of the gravity of the situation? She did not know the Ninth, only knew of what happened to him through Ino. I don't even know what he is really like…for all I know he might be some manipulative old man and this was karma coming back to bite him. She sighed and looked at the blond-haired man. The same could be said about this man too but he was her sponsor and so she had no choice but to trust him.

"I got some information on Xanxus and the Ninth that you might be interested in."

The words hung in the air as brown eyes sharpened at the implication of her words. She should have been more evasive but there was no gentle way of telling this kind of information. Ripping it off like a Band-Aid was the best way for her to go about it. If she just toyed around with getting to the topic then she would just forget the main point.

"You are a busy girl, aren't you?" Iemitsu commented. His tone might have been light but Naruto could see that the adult was impressed with the speed that she handled things. "Instead of waiting for someone to ask you or suggest that something was up, you already went ahead to check the information."

Well you have my ally involved with this mess. The words were ready to be whipped out but she swallowed it down. The tone sounded furious in her head. She could not show him her irritation because she needed his support. Until the day where her organization could take off, she would have to control her tongue and the temper that Jiraiya claimed she inherited from her mother.

"I don't know the Ninth but the whole thing screamed fishy to me," Naruto answered. She stretched her arms and looked down at the plate of sweets that Nana had put on the table for them. The whiskered teen picked up a single sweet and twirled it around. "I had a grandfather figure and he would have never done what the Ninth claimed to have done."

"Even though Orochimaru was the Third Hokage's favored student, the Old Man chose Minato Namikaze because he cared for the people of Konoha."

The awe and pride in her younger self's voice mocked her, reminding her of the days when she worshipped the ground her grandfather-figure and her own father walked upon. It was ironic that it was this report that helped her with figuring out the situation. She spent hours grilling the Third about why her father had been chosen.

"Not every kind of leader is the same," Iemitsu commented. His brown eyes regarded her carefully as if he wanted her not to get her hopes up for what kind of man that the Ninth was. "But I have my doubts about the whole thing, tell me what you have found out and how you found out without going to Italy."

If I was eighteen, I would claim I got someone to fuck him and get it out of him. But it sounded unbelievable and just from her observation of Xanxus, she doubt that he was the type to talk after a round of sex. That was more like someone like Jiraiya or even that creepy Levi. She inspected the sweet, peeling off the cover before grimacing. Xanxus was shrewd as his actions towards his own father showed.

"I can't spill on how I got the information without the permission of my asssociate since this is her technique to tell," Naruto explained. A single eyebrow was raised and the blonde ignored the silent question coming out from those brown eyes. "But she found out that Xanxus isn't the Ninth biological son, only his adopted son."

I think I shocked him. The whiskered teen leaned her body forward and waved her hand over the man's eyes. Well now that answered the question of whether or not he knew of the fact Xanxus was adopted or not. This kind of made the whole thing fun. Fun enough for her to even smile at a stranger that she did not even know all that well.

Naruto leaned against her seat as Iemitsu kicked his chair back and began pacing back and forth through the dining room. His brown eyes flickered everywhere but the curious part was the fact that the man did not accuse her of lying. He might have had some feeling about it. That could be the only explanation that she could think of.

"I found it suspicious that Timoteo simply accepted the claim of that deranged woman," Iemitsu said, shaking his head and darting his eyes to the photo of him with his family before looking back at her. "Timoteo had always been careful whenever he had his affairs and not once had any of his supposed kids turned out to be his. Then Xanxus came and he suddenly said that there was no need for a DNA test."

So Xanxus' mother was crazy huh? Now that kind of made sense when she thought about his behavior. Should she pity him? That would be the human thing to do but well pity was not an emotion she could feel. When the whole Uchiha clan had been murdered, she had been pleased. Those bastards always locked her up for the fact that she just vandalized the buildings.

Several times right before her birthday too and she had to spent her birthday in jail.

"It must have been nice for him to be taken in by the Old Man and to be accepted by him despite the fact that he wasn't his biological son," Naruto commented, popping the sweet inside of her mouth. She sucked and rolled it around her mouth as her blue eyes inspected the man. "But if Xanxus isn't the biological son then he doesn't have the right to inherit, does he?"

Iemitsu shook his head and regarded her with serious eyes. Why was he giving her that look? She did not fully understand what the whole Vongola Blood thing meant but it obviously meant something like bloodline. Although how could a simple ring be like the Byakugan or even the Sharingan was an absolute mystery to her.

She did not even understand why the leader have to be related to the previous ruler. Couldn't it be like the Hidden Villages where only the strongest could inherit? But Konoha does have a pattern when it comes to inheritance when I think about it. The First Hokage and the Second Hokage were brothers. The Third Hokage had been a student under the Second Hokage while her father was the student of the student of the Third Hokage.

The Fifth Hokage was apparently the granddaughter of the First Hokage.

Dear god, this sounds like a conspiracy theory. Maybe it was just a coincidence that there was a connection between all of them. For all she knew the Sixth Hokage would have no connections to any of the previous Hokage. The main point was that blood was not going to be a determining factor between them.

"Naruto, if the information that you have is true then did your informant tell you why the Ninth would accept this?" Iemitsu asked. He stopped in his pace and turned his whole body turned to look at her. "Because the Ninth that I know would not allow someone to take such a dangerous risk or allow Xanxus to do something that he already know what the end result will be."

The blonde hummed and tapped her finger against the table. Now this was going to be the tricky part for her to talk about without getting furious for what that spoiled brat had done. It was irrational for her to get upset while talking about it. The Ninth was just some old man that she never met. But he was an old man and…

"Here Gramps, eat it."

Warm brown eyes flashed before her eyes and the ache in her heart tightened as the scent of smoke tickled her nostrils. He betrayed her by withholding information about her parents and for making her think that they had been ordinary shinobi. So why did her heart hurt? She did not forgive him for what he did. But he had been the first adult, who had not been Inu, Weasel or Mizuki, to treat her like a human being.

I can never forgive him for his secrets but I can't completely hate him.

The knowledge brought a bitter taste to her tongue and Naruto took a deep breath. Memories of the Third Hokage needed to go away and should be shoved into a tiny chest. Maybe one day she could open the chest without that feeling of betrayal and anger from him but at this moment, it affected her rationality.

"Xanxus knows that his father won't accept him challenging your son to become the heir," Naruto answered quietly. She inhaled and exhaled before looking out to the window. "So he does what anyone would do in his position. He forces his father to write the letter, puts a fake in his father stead and holds him hostage. That is what my associate found out."

Brown eyes widened at those words and rage colored those eyes. The CEDEF leader's nostrils flared and the blonde wondered how the man could easily believe her words. Shouldn't the man have more faith in the adopted son? Or was this something Iemitsu could see the man doing to his father? She wouldn't know.

Maybe the man had been an ungrateful asshole since he was young.

"Did your associate find out where Xanxus is holding the Ninth held captive?" Iemitsu demanded, slamming his hands on the table. Naruto picked up the next sweet that jumped up from the table and regarded the male. He is going to be even more furious when I tell him of what Ino told me. That was the only conclusion she could make with the way the man tightened his grip on the table.

"He is inside the fat Varia member," Naruto answered. Brown eyes widened and the male raised an eyebrow like he didn't understand how it could be possible. The blonde grimaced and rubbed the back of her neck. "But there is something that you have to know about the fat Varia member…it is a robot."

Now how did she did go about telling him of what Ino told her? This was probably a delicate topic that needed to be informed with a delicate touch. I would rather not have his wife learn of what we are talking about and I definitely don't want the kids to come down. Kids were curious beings and if they heard what she was about to tell Iemitsu then there were going to be a lot of questions.

Especially from Lambo.

"It is not a simple robot, is it?" Iemitsu asked but it sounded more like a statement to her ears. The man took a seat right across her and focused his eyes on her. "If everything you are telling me is true then I know Xanxus, and that boy has always been ruthless when it comes to his plans especially when he involves the Ninth."

Naruto kept her expression blank and observed Iemitsu. His words implied that the man had done something as traitorous as this before and that explained everything. He doesn't believe my information because of blind trust but because he knows Xanxus. It was reassuring to her. If the man simply believed her because of her then she would question his intelligence.

"The robot needs a human life source," Naruto answered. She paused and regarded the male with blank eyes. Should she continue? Or wait for him to process everything? Brown eyes flared up with rage and he gestured for her to continue on. Right, well that answered her silent question. "And not just any human life source but someone like Xanxus or the Ninth. My associate doesn't understand what that means nor me."

But you do. The recognition in those brown eyes told her this much alongside the way his jaws clenched. Now what was he going to do with this piece of information? Could he stop the fight because of it? If I was Xanxus, I will demand physical proof. Blue eyes widened. There was something that she needed to consider when it came to Xanxus.

If they charged in recklessly and with witnesses then he could spin the story around. History are written by winners and if I want to win my spot then I have to play every dirty trick in the book. The dirtiest trick would be to let a guardian or Tsuna or even CEDEF tear the Ninth out of there and claim that they hurt the old man.

But would anyone believe it?

Those bitches are rather too friendly with Xanxus and seemed to be more on his side then remaining neutral. Naruto frowned and darted her eyes to Iemitsu. The blond-haired male pulled out his phone and without a second thought the whiskered teen grabbed the phone away from him. Brown eyes narrowed at her and Naruto glared at him.

"If you charge in there then Xanxus can figure out a way to put the blame on your son and make a claim that you are unfit to be a leader," Naruto hissed. The male regarded her for a good couple of seconds as if he considered her words before finally nodding his head. She exhaled. "I know guys like Xanxus because this is like a prank and any good prankster knows how to hide the evidence or knows how to spurn a story."

Iemitsu regarded her. "If the Ninth stays in that robot then he is going to die."

"And you will be painted a traitor by him because you are going in there recklessly," Naruto observed. The man grimaced and clenched his hands into a fist. The teen and adult exchanged glances before they both looked out to the window. "You need to get rid of the imposter and we need to remove the Ninth without Xanxus knowing about it."

The blond-haired male grimaced. "Getting rid of an imposter is easy but the latter is going to be impossible. Even if I bring the imposter here and have him confess, Xanxus can still make an excuse."

We can't stop the fights because I doubt those bitches will listen to us. They claimed to be non-bias but everything about their behavior made it seem like they favored Xanxus over Tsuna. Iemitsu was also right about Xanxus. The man must have came up with a plan for the possibility of the day that Iemitsu brought the imposter here.

"Why don't you put a shadow clone in there?" The Kyuubi commented. Naruto blinked and picked up the sweet from the plate. Why would the Kyuubi suggest a shadow clone? Was there something that she was missing? She curled her lips into a frown. "Those dying will flames are inside of you as well."

Naruto narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean, Kyuubi? And why are you helping me with this? I thought matters like these don't mean much to you."

"Dying will flames come from your yin portion of your chakra or so your father explained to your mother," The Kyuubi replied. Blue eyes widened at this piece of information and the blonde stopped twirling the sweet around. "The reason I'm telling you all of this is because he insulted me when he implied you are weak. I'm the only one allowed you to call you that, you are my container."

Naruto rolled her eyes and regarded Iemitsu. If what the Kyuubi told her was true then they did have a solution for the problem, but for how long could her clones stay in there? She always dispelled them after a while. There was also the fact that her clones had a limited amount of chakra. Not the same as the original.

If this plan that Kyuubi hinted could work then she would have to channel chakra to the clone in order to make sure that it stayed in there, until the Ninth could show himself.

I'm going to need Jiraiya's help with this.

"Give me three days."

Iemitsu blinked.

"What?"

Naruto curled her lips into a smirk and stood up from her seat. The character that I was named after never gave up and I'm not letting Xanxus beat me. If it meant spending sleepless nights with Jiraiya to make this seal then it would be worth it. If it meant protecting Lambo, Hibari and maybe even the others then it would be worth it.

"I will get the Ninth out of that robot in three days without Xanxus knowing about it and if I failed to do that then my name isn't Uzumaki Naruto."

"Naruto, do you have any plan for how Lambo can win this thing without getting injured?"

Naruto kept her expression completely blank as brown eyes focused on the squirming child against her chest. So many emotions shone through those brown eyes but only two emotions stood out to her. Fear and concern. Fear for what would happen if Lambo got struck by those electric wires on the ground. Concern for the fact that the toddler was going to fight such a serious match.

No matter how many times her team looked into it, there was only one option for Lambo. One option that guaranteed his survival against the Varia. The odds were good as Team Ten and Haku informed her before she left the apartment with Lambo. Team Ten spent a whole afternoon calculating the probability while the former missing nin helped Yamamoto with his training.

"We are going to rely on Adult Lambo."

The single sentence hung in the air and both Tsuna and Gokudera snapped their heads at her. Both set of eyes looked at her like she was insane for letting Adult Lambo do this. She understood the reason. They only had five minutes with Adult Lambo. Those five minutes would determine whether their team would win or not.

"You know Naruto when you gamble, most of the time…you win."

That had been Choji's final words to her before she left the apartment. Had it been his way of reassuring her? Most likely. As little kids, the three of them would mimic the actions of the adults in the streets and most of the time she won. But a game of poker was different from this match. A game of poker required observation while this was a bet.

But I'm going to make a gamble and hope that my betting skills still work.

"Adult Lambo is weak," Gokudera hissed in her ear. Naruto swirled her head at him and those green eyes flashed with uncertainty of whether to have faith in this insane gamble. We don't know if he is weak. Maybe most of the Adult Lambos in the parallel universes were strong while there was only one weak one. They didn't know anything.

The future was unpredictable but they could calculate the probability.

"Ino, Shikamaru and Choji calculated that there is more chance of Adult Lambo being strong then weak," Naruto informed Gokudera. Doubt shone through his eyes while Tsuna regarded her carefully as if he was not certain of whether to accept her words or not. She grimaced and darted her eyes straight at Yamamoto and Ryohei.

Ryohei knitted his eyebrows in confusion while Yamamoto looked at her with eyes gleaming with confidence. That little shit knows I won't be putting Lambo in there if I wasn't confident. Leave it to him to have faith in her while his own two friends doubted her. The baseball player always did have the most amazing and naïve faith of what kind of person that she was.

"But there is still a slim chance of him being weak," Gokudera argued back.

That is why I am willing to gamble everything on the bigger possibility. The rational part of her knew better than to gamble on everything. This was what the old Naruto would do and she was not the same girl who had blind faith in God and her friends. But being rational was not going to help them this time. Being rational and trying to figure out how to make sure only a strong Adult Lambo came out had been pointless.

So she had to rely on faith and believed that Lambo would become strong in the future.

Taking a deep breath, the blonde put down the squirming child on the ground. She wrapped both hands against Lambo's arms and steadied the hyperactive child. The green-eyed boy stopped wiggling and looked up at her with confusion. Talk to him how Iruka and Mizuki used to talk to the children in the Academy. Being sentimental was not going to help him at all but being a hard ass would help him.

"Lambo, this is not a game and this is definitely not like your training with me," Naruto informed the toddler. Green eyes widened and the blonde regarded him with serious eyes. "When you enter that ring, I won't be able to help you nor can Tsuna or the others. We will get into huge trouble. The only person you can rely is your future self because Lambo, you are not strong enough to deal with those people."

She twisted the toddler around and pointed to Levi. Lightning struck and the shadow on Levi's face only became more pronounced. With those tattoo and piercing, the man looked like one of those scenes from the horror movies. The toddler trembled and Naruto knew that it hit him just how terrifying the situation was for him.

Tsuna must have realized too because he knelt right beside her. His soft brown hair tickled her nose to the point that Naruto bit her tongue to stop herself from sneezing. What the hell did he use to make his hair so soft? She rubbed her nose and stared at Tsuna. Brown eyes regarded the shivering boy with understanding and sadness.

"Lambo-kun, if you are scared then you can withdraw right now if you want," Tsuna informed the toddler quietly. Green eyes widened and flickered to her as if asking her if he really did have a choice. Naruto nodded. If he wanted to withdraw then she would accept it. This was his decision to make, not hers.

When she had been six, she chose to train to become a kunoichi and not once did she regret it. The Hokage did not pressure her to become one and she practically demanded for him to let her enroll. Wait till you are just a little bit older. That had been his words to her and like a confident idiot, she told him that she was not going to change her mind.

"Naruto-neechan never gives up and she is strong; Lambo-sama wants to become just like Naruto-neechan," Lambo shouted. Blue eyes widened as the little boy locked eyes with her. It was hard for her to know if he was crying with the rain but his eyes flared with so much determination. "Lambo-sama knows he is going to become as cool as Naruto-neechan because Minoru calls Lambo-sama's future self awesome!"

The toddler sniffed and wiped his nostrils before yanking his arms away from her. Tsuna looked at her and the blonde shrugged. What did he expect her to do? Convince Lambo not to do it. He was determined and with that much determination…they had to have faith in him. Besides, who is Minoru? That was not a name that she heard before.

"Lambo, when your future self wins…I will buy you all of the food that you can eat."

Lambo grinned and held up his pinky.

"Promise, Naruto-neechan?"

She wrapped her pinky around his pinky and shook on it.

"I will never break a promise, believe it."

"You know you are very lucky I haven't started my training with Sasuke."

Adult Lambo cracked his knuckles and stared at his alarmed opponent. He had been hoping that he would be the one to come out from the moment the younger Naruto-neechan warned him about the Varia. Levi A Than. Maybe this would be the fight that explained the man's hatred towards him and his older sister figure.

I remembered he used to look a lot more terrifying when I was a kid. The teen took a seat on the circuit and rolled up his sleeves as his eyes focused on the stunned man in front of him. Since they had only five minutes then he probably should end this quick. Five minutes and his younger self would come back here. Five minutes and he would be going through hell again.

God, training under Sasuke and Naruto hurt like hell and it was even worse when Kakashi taunted him about his love for Naruto-neechan. I heard he used to have the same damn reaction to Neechan's father. He removed his shoes and groaned in relief from the weight removed from his body. He relaxed his shoulders as the lightning coursed through him, tickling him like there was no tomorrow.

"Voi! He is an outsider!" Squalo yelled. His eyes glared at them and Adult Lambo pushed himself up from the ground. Lightning crackled around his body, purring and tickling him like they wanted him to unleash it. Well it had to wait. He would have to direct it somewhere else. The more lightning he could store, the more powerful the attack was going to be.

"Ma, you wish I was an outsider," he declared with a lazy smile as he picked up the fallen chain from the ground. So this was the ring? From what Gokudera and Tsuna-niisan made it to be, he thought it would be something amazing. I can see why Hibari would want to give it away; it doesn't look cool enough. He clasped it behind his neck. "I'm a future version of Lambo and that still makes me a candidate, right?"

Lightning struck again and Lambo closed his eyes. A little shiver washed over him and the lightning inside of him hummed and buzzed like there was no tomorrow. Let us out. That was what the little sparks of energy seemed to whisper to him. They were always so demanding if you asked him, almost like Naruto-neechan.

His green eyes darted to Naruto and it still amazed him of how young his older sister figure was. If my Naruto-neechan was here, she will smack me for insulating that she was old. But the things that she had been able to accomplish was nothing that could be seen. He could almost understand what made Sasuke pledge to follow her.

"Which future do you come from, Lambo?" Naruto-neechan called out as he stretched his arms and legs. Excitement and concern leaked out of her voice and he knew if he turned around there would be no emotion coming out from her eyes. His big sister never showed a lot of emotions in public except for when it was needed.

Adult Lambo curled his lips into a smirk and locked eyes with Levi.

"The one where you have to share me with your rival from the Academy," he replied. Levi blinked and Mammon narrowed their eyes at him, which only earned a shrugged from Adult Lambo. Mammon might be dead and Adult Lambo did not have a good memory of them, but they were related to Sasuke. "He and Inu are the only ones that can help you train me by the way since they have Lightning Affinity."

Levi growled and held up a single eyebrow at him. Electricity sparked and whizzed through the umbrella, almost as if his opponent was trying to warn him. If this happened maybe before the bazooka then it probably would have made his younger self squeaked. But he was fifteen. The age where his potential was unlimited as Naruto-neechan would tell him.

"You are not the better Guardian than me!" Levi growled.

Lambo let out another yawn and glanced at his watch. Two minutes. That was just how long he would need to beat Levi. Two minutes to show Naruto-neechan that she had been right to put her faith in him. It was probably generous. Looking at the weapons and the lack of aura from him, he probably would have more fun fighting the younger version of his sister-figure.

"Sorry but if I lose to a loser like you then I would never hear the end of it from Naruto-neechan," Adult Lambo declared, jerking his finger at the whiskered teen. He allowed the lightning to escape from the palm of his hand as he removed the final weight from his wrist. Smash. The ground crumbled and cracked as the final weight crashed to the ground. "I mean how can I ever try to reach their level if you defeat me?"

If he ever wanted to be able to protect the Vongola Family and his friends then he would have to climb to the level of his sister-figure and her rival.

With that determination, Lambo channeled the lightning right down to his legs and rushed straight to Levi. Slanted eyes widened as Lambo channeled the lightning down to the palm of his hand. It buzzed, twisted and zapped right to the man's back. Smoke waffled his nostrils and Levi wobbled from the attack.

"The one who will fulfill the role as Lightning Guardian will be me," Levi growled as he pushed himself up. Black eyes gleamed with determination as he flung the umbrella up in the air. They circled around him and Lambo raised a single eyebrow. This is not going to be as painful as Sasuke-san's attacks. Gasps echoed from the background and dimly he could hear his brother figure yelling at him to run.

Several bolts of electricity smashed into his body, almost buzzing against his ear as several faces smirked. This was nothing for him. Training under Naruto and Sasuke was a hell lot worse. Had they ever been punch by either one of them? It was like being hit by a bulldozer. This much electricity felt like a pinch to him.

"Maybe in one universe you are the Lightning Guardian," Lambo declared, channeling all of that electricity down to the ground. The glass screamed and shattered as his opponent gawked at him. The teen looked down at his crackling hands and a huge smirk played on his lips. "But that was the universe where I never met Naruto-neechan because this strength? This is 10-years' worth of training with someone who doesn't know how to give up."

He dashed straight at the male and flickered his eyes to the storm clouds. Do whatever it takes to survive, Lambo. His smirk widened as Levi charged at him with the umbrella. The umbrella came down and Lambo swirled his leg around, smashing against his opponent's ribs. Bones cracked and the man was sent flying to the large lightning rod.

Lambo picked up the umbrella and snapped it in half as huge amount of lightning coursed through his opponent's body. Screams echoed throughout the night sky but it was never enough. The bastard tried to kill him as a child and if it was not for Naruto then maybe he would have succeeded. Green eyes turned absolutely cold as he looked down at his unconscious opponent.

Killing him would be nice but letting him live with the knowledge that a toddler bested him tasted even sweeter in his eyes.

"Do you know what was your biggest mistake? Thinking you could compare to me," Lambo declared loudly as he yanked the chain out of Levi's throat. He joined the ring together and held it up in the air for everyone to see. He pointed his finger at Naruto. "You see that blonde over there? She is currently being trained by one of the strongest shinobi in the world and if you don't know what that means then you are an idiot."

The words hung in the air and the boy locked eyes on his grinning sister. Your Naruto-neechan in the Academy? A smiling idiot who would never stopped challenging me to a fight. It had been hard for him to picture it but Lambo could see why Sasuke always had that soft look whenever he talked about his childhood with Naruto.

His Neechan did look her prettiest when she smiled like this.

"Do you think I'm awesome, Naruto-neechan?"

The smile on the blonde's face widened.

"I wouldn't take the risk if I didn't have faith in you, would I?"

Green eyes widened when the blonde dashed over to give him a hug. She must have been worried that I wouldn't win. Well it did not matter to him. Getting a hug from Naruto-neechan was nice. Her hugs had always been the best and now he was tall enough to pat her hair. A sense of dread crept up in his stomach and Lambo knew only two people that could bring this out of him.

One was definitely still training with Orochimaru and the other was glaring at him with irritation in his gray eyes.

A possessive Hibari mixed with anger is a terrifying Hibari.

Lambo gulped.

He is going to kill me for touching Naruto-neechan and for destroying his windows.

Well it had been a nice life if you asked him.
