Thalia's Pov:

I woke up to find that Daddy was not in the room and neither was Toothless. I sat up in bed feeling much better than I had been since I got here. 'Mummy was right about the medicine making you feel better.'

I wonder where Daddy is though. Maybe I should go downstairs and look for him. I climbed out of bed taking my toy Bubbles with me since I go everywhere with him. I made my way to the door and opened it.

I left the room and walked towards the stairs, I sat on my bottom since I am too small to reach the stairs handle. And I shuffled down the stairs on my bottom. Once I got down the stairs, I went into the Kitchen, but Daddy was not there. So, I looked somewhere else in the house.

I walked over to the chair thing that was in front of the fire and found Daddy asleep there with Mummy beside him. I walked over to Mummy and Daddy to wake them up. "Mummy, Daddy" I called but they did not wake up.

"Mummy, Daddy wake up," I called again. This time I saw that Mummy was starting to move. "Mummy wake up," I called pulling on her hand. "Thali what are you doing out of bed," Mummy said. "I came to wake you and Daddy up."

She sat up and rubbed her eye. "Hiccup wake up." Mummy shook Daddies arm. Daddy moved. I held my arms out to Mummy so she could pick me up. Which she did and I sat on her lap. Mummy put her hand to my forehead then pulled it away.

"Are you feeling any better today Baby?" Mummy asked me. "I am feeling better Mummy," I said. "Daddy wake up." I then jumped on to Daddy and made him groan. "Thalia what have I said about jumping on me to wake me up." Daddy said as he covered his eyes with his arm. "Daddy says for Thalia to not jump on him and get Toothless to wake you up."

"That is right. And What do you think you are doing out of bed Missy." Daddy said. "Daddy was not in the room. I came looking for you." I told him. I giggled when Daddy started to sit up and making put my arms around his neck.

"Hiccup her fever is gone," Mummy told Daddy. Dad put his hand to my head just like what Mummy did. "Your right it is gone." Daddy said. I have no idea what they are talking about. "Daddy, can we fly on Toothless?"

Hiccup's Pov:

"Daddy can we fly on Toothless?" my daughter asked me. I can't believe that her fever has finally gone. After days of having it and after just four dosages of medicine it is totally gone. She is looking so much better as well. "Daddy? She calls.

"Hmm," I said. "Can we fly on Toothless?" She asked me. "Once we have breakfast then we can go on a flight if that is what you want to do," I said.

"Can Mummy come with us?" She said while looking at Astrid. "I don't see why not. So, what do you say M'Lady would you like to go on a flight with us after Breakfast?" I asked her. "I would love that." She said.

"Well, then I better get a start on Breakfast," I said as I transfer Thali to Astrid and stood up and headed to the kitchen to start on breakfast. That was when I heard someone come down the stairs. I turned to see who it was and saw my Father coming down.

"Morning Son."

"Morning Dad." I greeted. "What time did you and Mum get in last night?" I asked me. "It was late. You and Astrid were both asleep, so your Mother went and got a blanket to put over you both." He explained.

"Hi, Grandpa." I heard Thali say to her Grandfather. "Good Morning Thali. Looks like you are feeling much better." He said. I heard Thali giggle when Dad took her from Astrid and threw her up into the air then catching her. Just like he used to do to me.

As I was cooking breakfast and Dad was spending some time with his Granddaughter. Astrid was sitting at the kitchen table watching me cook. "What?" I asked her. "Nothing. Just still cannot believe that you can cook." She said. I left breakfast to cook by itself and walked over to my girlfriend.

"Well, I had to learn somehow when I was away. Plus, mum cannot cook to safe her life. So, I had to become a cook in the house." I told her. "Well, it looks like you will still be the cook in the house as I cannot cook either." She told me.

"Is that so?" I asked her. "Yes, I am told I burn water."

"Well, we might just have to change that then," I said as I pulled her off the chair that she was sitting on and kissed her. I felt her melt into the kiss and she then wrapped her arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Hmm. I could get used to this every morning." She said once we pulled away from each other, but I still had my grip on her waist. "Really and what would you be getting used to M'Lady?"

"Waking up beside you. You cooking breakfast for us. Me tending to our daughter and us being a family." She said. "Well, when the house is built then we can do just that," I told her. "I would love that." She said.

"Breakfast will be ready soon. Why don't you go up and have a shower and when you come back down could you bring Thali's medicine down too please?"

"Thank you Hiccup, and I will bring the medicine down too. I will be back in 5." She said. She kissed my cheek before making her way to the stairs so she could go up to the bathroom.

"Where is Mum this morning?" I asked Dad once Astrid was out of my sight. "She is tending to the dragons." He said. Of course, she is. "Daddy where is Mummy?"

"Astrid has gone to have a shower while breakfast is cooking. Then after breakfast, we can go on a flight." I told Thali who was sitting on her Grandfather's knee at the kitchen table.

"What are you going to do about your riders Hiccup?" Dad asked me. I thought for a bit before answering. "Well, after my flight with Astrid and Thali I will be going to see them so we can sort this out and then they can get back to the Edge," I explained.

"Do you know who attacked them yet?"

"Yes, I do know who attacked them," I answered. "Who was it then?" He asked me again. "Well, they were attacked by some of my enemies that I have made out there. They call themselves the Dragon Hunters. They capture Dragons dead or alive and sell them for a profit to other Hunters. The leader Viggo and his brother Ryker run the group. They hate Dragon riders and will do anything to get our Dragons." I explained.

Dad went quiet after I explained it to him. I then heard Astrid coming back down the stairs towards us. "What are you going to do about them Son. You know Berk will help you fight them." He said. I turned back to breakfast and started to plate it up. "Thanks, Dad. But I have been fighting these Dragon Hunters for 6 years now. I won't bring Berk into a fight that does not concern them." I said.

"Do they know where the Edge is?" Astrid asked me as I placed the plates at the table. "Yes, they do. They have attacked us there a few times in the past." I answered. I took Thali from Dad and placed her on her sit then a small plate in front of her for her to eat. Then I placed Dad's and Astrid's in front of them before sitting down with mine.

"Does this Viggo person know that you have a daughter?" Dad asked me. At this point, I was getting sick of these questions that he was asking me. "He sure does know. He found out she was my daughter after he kidnapped her a year ago." I explained.

"You let him kidnap your daughter?"

I looked to see what Astrid thought about what I told them. "No, I did not let my daughter get kidnap. She was asleep in her room when they attacked the Edge. Viggo snuck into my house trying to find something to use against and found her asleep in her room." I explained to him.

"How old was she when he took her and for how long did, he have her for?" Astrid asked me. "She was 1 year old when that happened and Viggo only had her for a few hours. After that, he found my weakness and always tried to use it against me after that. And since then I always leave someone or two behind to watch Thali so something like that would never happen again." I said. After that, we ate breakfast in silence.

After breakfast, we gave Thali her medicine and she took it without a fight this time which I was proud of. Dad told me that he would do the cleaning up since I cooked and told us to go and enjoy our flight.

Astrid and I walked outside to our Dragons. Thali runs over to Toothless to say hello to him. I watched as Toothless gives her his type of kiss which causes her to laugh. I smile at the interaction between the too. Toothless loves Thali and is very protected of her most of the time.

"That would be the first time I have heard her laugh since she got sick. She is such a cheerful child that it makes you smile when she does." I said to Astrid as she came up beside me with her Dragon beside her.

"I am sure we will see that smile and laugh more now that she is feeling better." She said. "I'm sure we will. Alright, let's get going on this flight." I said. She nodded and climbed up into her Dragon. "Alright, Miss let's get you up so we can go," I said as I lifted Thali onto Toothless. "So, what did you call her?" I asked Astrid as I mounted up behind Thali. "Her name is Stormfly." She answered. "I think it suits her," I said. "Alright let's go. Hold on tight Thali." I added.

Once I knew Thali was holding onto her straps tightly and she was strapped into the saddle I then nudged Toothless to take-off gently. "Just give Stormfly a wee nudge to get her to take off," I said to Astrid once Toothless had levelled out just above Astrid and Stormfly. Astrid did what I said and Stormfly took off.

"There you go, M'Lady," I said when she came up beside me. "Let's go, Daddy," Thali yelled. "Alright, alright. We are going. Come on Bud not too fast today since we have Thali and Astrid with us." I said to my best friend.

We flew around Berk a couple of times then went bit fewer out to see. Thali was squealing and laughing the whole time. I pulled back on the rings to slow Toothless down a bit when I noticed that Astrid as a bit behind us. "You alright Astrid?" I asked her.

"I'm fine Hiccup. Just trying to get used to the flying and being so high up." She said. "You are doing very well. Better than some of my riders when they first went flying. Couple of them fainted soon as their Dragon took off the ground" I told her.

"Thanks, Hiccup. But I think we should get back now. You still have to go and see Ingrid and Bjorn and I have to meet up with the gang for another lesion with your Mother." She said. I knew she was right and that we had to go back but I did not want to. And by the look on Thali's face as well she did not want the flight to end.

"You right. We have things to do. Let's head back now." I said and I turned Toothless around and headed back to Berk. Once we had landed outside the Great Hall. I climbed down from Toothless then let Thali out of the saddle.

She then runs over to Astrid as she was hopping of Stormfly and Thali started to pat the Dragon. Stormfly rubbed its head against Thali which caused her to squeal. "Can I go with Mummy, Daddy?" My daughter asked me. "You will have to ask her that question," I told her.

"Mummy, can I go with you?" She asked turning to face Astrid. "It is fine with me if you are alright with it Hiccup." She before turning to me. "I am fine with it. She can go anywhere with us since she is kinda your daughter as well." I said to her which caused her to blush.

"Yay. Come on Mummy." Thai yelled trying to pull on Astrid's arm to get her moving. "Thali I want you to listen to Mummy and what she says goes. Alright." I said kneeling in front of my daughter telling her the rules. "Okay, Daddy." She replied with. "Toothless I want you to go with them," I said to Toothless.

"Great so I am a Babysitter then." He grumbled. "Don't moan about it. You are only going just in case Astrid needs help with Thali." I said to him. "Fine." He grumbled once again.

"Toothless will go with you and I guess I will see you later then," I said to Astrid as I gave her a quick kiss then left her and Thali together as I headed towards the Healer's house so I can talk to Ingrid and Bjorn.

Astrid's Pov:

I watched Hiccup walk away leaving me, Thali and Toothless. "Mummy uppie," Thali asked as she pointed to Stormfly. "Uppie Mummy."

I realised that she wanted to ride Stormfly. "Alright Thali. But we are not flying only walking that's it." I told her in a stern voice. "Okay Mummy." She said. I then lifted her up on to Stormfly's back. We then started to walk around the Village for a bit. I stayed by her side so she would not full off Stormfly's back.

"Mummy I very tall." She said. "Yeah, you are," I said. I looked up when I heard Toothless starting to growl. "What is it Toothless?" I asked him. Toothless growled and nudged his head to the side.

That was when I saw the gang coming towards us with their Dragons. "It is okay Toothless; they won't hurt you or me," I told him as I patted his head. I waited for the group to come closer.

Once they were near us, I yelled out, "Hey guys."

"Hey, Astrid." They replied. "How have you been?" Fishlegs asked me. "I've been good Fishlegs," I answered. "Now is this who I think it is?" Ruff asked coming up beside me. "It sure is. Ruff meets Hiccup's, Daughter Thalia. Thalia, I want you to meet my best friend Ruffnut." I said introducing the pair. "Hi, Thalia," Ruff said. I watched as Thali waved shyly to Ruff. "Mummy down please." She asked me. I lifted my arms and helped her down from Stormfly's back. "Astrid she just called you Mummy," Fishlegs said.

"I know Fish."

I walked towards the others with Thali in my arms when Toothless growled. "It is alright Toothless. We will be fine." I told him. "Thali I want you to meet some more of my friends. This is Fishlegs, Tuffnut and Snoutlout. Guys this is Hiccup's daughter Thalia." I said to them. Thali did a small wave before burying her head into my shoulder.

"So, I am guessing she is feeling a lot better if she is out like this?" Fish asked me. "Yeah, she is feeling better. Gothi gave us the healing herbs yesterday and we still a difference in her after her first dose of the healing herbs." I explained.

"Well, that is good then." Fish said. "Yeah. Hiccup said she will be back to happy self very soon."

"Speaking of Hiccup, where is he?" Snoutlout asked. "Well after our flight this morning he went to the Healer's hut to talk to Ingrid and Bjorn to sort things out," I said.

"I thought he would deal with that later and spend some time with his daughter." Fish said. "Normally he would be spending time with Thali but with this attack on two of his riders he will work in that instead." A voice said from behind us.

I turned to find that it was Heather and Dagur." Hello Heather, Dagur." I greet the pair. "Morning Astrid. Hello Thali." Heather said. "Heather, Dagur," Thali said. "Mummy down please." She added. I set her on her feet, and she took off towards Heather and Dagur.

I watched as Thali went straight into Dagur's arms. Dagur threw her up into the air a caught her as she giggled. "Did I just hear Thali call you Mummy Astrid?" Heather asked me. "Yea she did."

Dagur then walked closer to us with Thali in his arms. "You are feeling better today Thali?" Heather asked Thali. "Uh-huh." She replied. "Down. Down Dagur."

"Thali use your manner please," I told her. "Down please Dagur," Thali said. Dagur put Thali down and she then runs over to Toothless. "She looks she is in a better mood now that it looks like that, she is feeling better," Dagur said. "Yea she is in aa good mood. Hiccup took her on a flight this morning since that is what she asked for when she woke us up this morning." I said to him.

"Woke you both up. Did you stay at Hiccup's last night, Astrid?" Ruff asked. "Yes, Ruff I did stay at Hiccup's. We were talking on the to each other on the couch and we both fell asleep. Next thing I know I am being woken up by Thali." I explained to her.

"Sure, you just talked," Ruff said raising her eyebrows at me. "Ruff!" I yelled. "We did just talk," I said. Which caused Heather and Ruff to laugh. I ignored them and watched and Thali as she played with Toothless.

"Come on we better get to the Arena." Fish said. "Yea you are probably right," I said. "Thali come on" I called. "Coming Mummy." She yelled as she left Toothless side and came to me. I held my hand out for her take which she did. "Where are we going, Mummy?" Thali asked me.

"We are going to go to the Arena," I said. "Why?" She asked. "Because I have Dragon training and you are going to watch for a bit," I explained to her.

Once we got to the Arena Valka was already ready there waiting for us. "Bluey, Sunset," Thalia called out. She let go off my hand and run over to the Dragon's named Sunset and Bluey. "Thali comes back here," I called out to her, but she did not listen to me. "Thalia," I called.

"It is alright Astrid. Bluey is Thali's dragon that she has been with Bluey since he hatched from his egg. And Sunset set was Hannah's Dragon." Heather explained. "I knew about Sunset, but Hiccup never told me that Thalia had a Dragon," I said.

"It probably slipped his mind with everything that has been going on lately."

"Yea you are probably right," I said. I watched as Thalia ran around the Arena with Bluey chasing her. I smiled when I saw a big smile across her face.

"Hello everyone. Today we will be working on flying and making the bond between you and your Dragon stronger." Valka told us. "So, gather round. Thali I am going to need you to stay close to Sunset please Darling." Valka said. "Okay, Grandma," Thalia answered before heading towards Sunset on the other side of the Arena.

An hour later training was finally over. I was saying goodbye to the others when Snoutlout came up to me. "So, are you going home or to find Hiccup?" He asked me. "I am going to take Thali back home to Hiccup's house and wait for him to come home," I said.

"Well, I will walk back to his house then."

"Okay," I said unsure what is going on. I then turned to call Thalia over when I found her curled up beside Sunset asleep. I walked over to her and picked her up into my arms.

Sunset growled at me when I picked Thali up. "Shh. It is okay Sunset. I am just going to take her home." I said to the Dragon. Sunset stopped growling and let me take Thali away from her.

"We will see you soon Sunset," I said then turned and walked back towards the entrance of the Arena where Snoutlout is waiting for us. "Are you alright with carrying her?" He asked me.

"I am fine Snoutlout. Why all of a sudden you want to walk me home for?" I asked him. "Why I owe it to Hiccup after being mean to him for all those years that he was on Berk before he left." He said. I nodded then started to head out of the Arena with Snoutlout and the dragons following us.

"Well, here we are," Snoutlout said once we got to the Chief's house. "Thank you Snoutlout. For umm… walking us home." I said awkwardly. "No. problem Astrid. Well, see you tomorrow." He said then he walked away. "Yea sees you tomorrow," I said before going inside.

I walked inside the house and straight up to Hiccup's room. So, I could lay Thali on the bed. I then kissed her forehead and went back downstairs to wait for Hiccup to come back.
