We then cut to outside as the ski speeders exit through the upper hatches and they speed past a trench filled with Resistance soldiers with the two big turrets on each end of it. A battle scene ensues for roughly five minutes as the speeders are picked off one by one by the walkers and a squad of TIE fighters that swoop in out of nowhere until the Millennium Falcon swoops in and destroys an AT-AST. Finn and Poe cheer. Kylo, from the cockpit of the shuttle sees the ship fly by.
He punches a few buttons on a console. Cut to Jaina and Chewbacca in the cockpit; Kylo's voice comes in over Jaina's headset. "I know the girl from the star killer is on there. I wish to finish what we started…" Rey's voice can be heard. "I accept." Jaina speaks into her headset. "Are you joking? You're rushing things way too-" "Just set us down!" "Where?" On the shuttle, Kylo sees the speeders and the Resistance retreating towards the base. "The trench…" So the Falcon and shuttle set down at the trench.
