Chapter 29
Epps stood back as Barricade and I pulled up and his door swung open; and he growled impatiently at Epps.
"Get in," Barricade said with a growl.
"What crawled up your tailpipe?" Epps demanded.
"I am not a taxi, human; I am taking her because she saved Frenzy." Barricade said as I rolled my eyes at him.
"Be nice, Cade," I said.
"Do not do that," Barricade said.
"Don't do what?" I asked innocently.
"Give me pet names," he growled.
I looked at Frenzy who glanced over at me; and just shrugged.
We got to the Lennox farm; we just got there in time to see a whole lot of trouble coming.
"You get Sarah and Annabelle; I can use my gifts against them for as long as I can. Remember Barricade they have advanced weapons to use against Cybertronians; so make sure you stay out of their range of fire, alright?" I said.
"Yes," was all Barricade said.
Barricade let me out and I let Cemetery Wind have it full force, but for some reason I was feeling weaker than normal when I using it.
"Damn it," I growled as The Dreads opened fired on the Cemetery Wind as well as Barricade.
"What is wrong with you femme?! Barricade yelled at me.
"It's... making me too weak too fast," I remarked as Barricade snarled at me.
I saw Epps firing as he got Sarah and Annabelle; I tried to give them cover but I dropped to the ground and I saw Epps get shot and Sarah.
"No...!" I could hear myself scream as I struggled and forced myself to use my gift to allow Epps to get them into one of The Dreads and escape; while Barricade and Airachnid laid waste to the remaining members of Cemetery Wind.
I could feel myself blacking out; and the next thing I knew I was inside of Barricade going back to the hidden place everyone was never imaging the consequences for my actions would make or the can of worms it would open with the others especially Optimus.

(At the deserted Air base – Normal POV)
Optimus, Ratchet, Predaking and the Trine had arrived with Sentinel Prime; who was in stasis still.
"Where is Miss. Carter?" Ratchet asked.
Megatron glared when the human's name was mentioned.
"She left to go do something; she is going to put at risk Optimus. She has no regard for anything else; and we have sparklings that are at risk because of her foolishness." Megatron snapped as Optimus and Predaking laid Sentinel Prime gently onto the ground.
"We need her here first to cleanse Sentinel's spark as Optimus revives him," Ratchet replied firmly. "Blasted human, femme, where is she?" Ratchet demanded.
