Dewey feels that no one is his family pays attention to him so he runs off, but is later found. It's no big deal. Or so it seems. But Webby's onto him. There's something strange about Dewey, and she'll find out what. She should be able to figure out what's wrong with her friend...right? Rated T for violence; no cursing. (THIS IS A SHORT STORY, SO THE CHAPTERS ARE SHORT.)

29. Chapter 29

Nobody Listens Chapter 29: "Nightmares"

…

"Everyone alright?"

…

Dewey looked around and his heart skipped a beat when he realized someone was missing.

"Webby?" Beakley looked around, "Everyone help me look for her!"

Dewey pushed through the wreckage, "Webby? Webby! WEBBY! WEEEEEEBBBBBBBYYYYYYYY!" He called until his throat was sore.

Just then a piece of metal came sliding toward him from the wreckage.

He yelped and dodged it.

"It's not safe, we can't search for her in this mess….." Della told him.

"Wha-what do you mean?"

He knew exactly what she meant.

"NOOOOOOOOO! Webby!" Dewey cried. Louie tried to pull him away.

"Let go of me!" Dewey said furiously.

"You're going to get yourself killed!"

"WEBBBBBYYYYYYYYYYYY!"

Dewey shot out of bed.

He gasped for air, realizing it was all a dream.

But…

What if it had been real?
