I turned around, to see Peter standing, soaking wet, with a look of relief on his face?

"Sophie!" He yelled running towards me.

"Don't come any closer!" I yelled back, taking a step back, holding up a shaky hand in defence.

He stopped dead in his tracks, his look of relief melting into confusion, then to anger.

"What do you mean don't come closer?" He yelled through the rain, edging forward slightly.

"I mean it Peter! Please don't come near me" I edged further away, I could feel myself getting closer and closer to the cliffs edge.

"Be careful Soph!" He yelled with concern.

"Have you been lying to me?!" I yelled to him, shaking from both rain and fear.

"What… What are you talking about?" He yelled back.

"Have you been lying to me Peter?! About everything, about who I am, and why I'm here? Why do the pirates keep chasing me? Why does everyone keep calling that Captain my uncle? Who is Melody?!" I screamed. My mind pulsated with pain and fractured images. My whole body shook and felt numb beneath me.

"Soph, please I can explain everything, just come away from the edge please." He pleaded.

"What is that place out there? What aren't you telling me?" I screamed.

The wind around us grew louder, throwing my wet hair around, and cutting through my cold shaking body. Peter looked so lost and scared, so helpless. He stood firm, his hand reaching out towards me, looking almost too scared to move.

"Sophie please, you can trust me, I don't want you to get hurt please!" He yelled back.

"Peter I'm so confused, I just feel so lost!" I yelled, my voice croaking and breaking.

"I know, I can fix it I promise." He said taking a step closer.

"Don't come near me!" I yelled back.

"Soph what's going on, please talk to me!"

"Mark, he told me all these things… He kissed me… and now all these things keep coming back…"

My heart pounded in my chest. Thousands of memories, and images flooded my mind. I remembered a girl, I remember trying to pull her into a whirlpool, someone grabbing her away from me… I remember a voice, calling out to me, begging for me to come back to her… I remember learning how to fight, sparring with a young boy with, with warm brown eyes, teaching me how to fight… it felt like everything around me was shattering and the ground beneath me was crumbling to pieces.

Wait…

The ground beneath me was really crumbling to pieces…

"PETER!" I yelled, trying to throw myself forward, but It was too late, I watched his face screw up in fear, as I fell.

Peter's POV

I had been flying as fast as I could due west, praying to find her before she did something stupid.

I was so stupid to have left her alone, undefended and not have protected her. This was all my fault. I just hoped she was ok.

I flew over a small ledge, and over towards a thick crowding of trees. My instinct told me to fly up, over the thick forest and towards skull island. The rain pelted down more. I tried to breath, to calm myself and calm the rain, but nothing worked. This was not going to end until I knew she was safe.

The trees drew to a close, and that's when I saw her. She was drenched and shaking as she held herself. She was walking towards the cliffs edge.

"SOPHIE!" I yelled out, landing a few meters away from her.

"Sophie!" I felt relieved to see her again.

"Don't come any closer!" She yelled, stepping back.

"What do you mean don't come closer?" I yelled, edging forward slightly.

"I mean it Peter! Please don't come near me" She was getting closer to the cliffs edge. My heart began to race.

"Be careful Soph!" I cried, desperate for her to run towards me.

"Have you been lying to me?!" She yelled out.

I froze. How could she know?

"What… What are you talking about?"

"Have you been lying to me Peter?! About everything, about who I am, and why I'm here? Why do the pirates keep chasing me? Why does everyone keep calling that Captain my uncle? Who is Melody?!" She screamed out. Her eyes were full of tears and anger, she clutched herself holding a shaking hand up at me, as if to further distance herself from me.

"Soph, please I can explain everything, just come away from the edge please." I pleaded.

"What is that place out there? What aren't you telling me?"

"Sophie please, you can trust me, I don't want you to get hurt please!"

"Peter I'm so confused, I just feel so lost!"

"I know, I can fix it I promise." I said as I took another step closer.

"Don't come near me!" she yelled, looking even more frantic than before.

"Soph what's going on, please talk to me!"

"Mark, he told me all these things… He kissed me…"

HE DID WHAT?

"and now all these things keep coming back…"

I grew angry, how dare he touch her… was he the key to unlocking her memories, did he do this to her? I felt my face grow red with anger, and something else…

Before I could even begin to process my rage, the ground beneath her fell, and her screams filled the air around me, and she attempted to lunge towards me, her face masked in fear falling right in front of me.

I'm sorry it is short. I am back for now.

But will Sophie survive?
