Emma smiled as she pulled the headphones off her head. She smiled to herself as she looked at the video footage that was on the computer screen. This was exactly what she needed to put this case to rest and get yet another villain off the streets of Storybrooke and into a padded room next door to the Evil Queen.

Pushing herself away from the desk, Emma took the flash drive out of the computer and walked over to the cells where Jekyll and Hyde were residing. She unlocked each door and waited for them to come to the entrance.

"Are you sure it's safe to let both of us out at the same time, Sheriff Swan? He's a known killer, and you're here alone," Jekyll said, nervously looking between Hyde and Emma as she leaned up against the door of the cell.

"Who said she was here alone?" Charming asked, walking across the station to stand beside his daughter and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Oh," Jekyll replied, taking a half step back away from the cell door.

"That's what I thought," Charming said. He leaned in toward Emma. "What are you doing?"

"You'll see. Take Jekyll down to the interrogation room. I'll bring Hyde down in just a second," she said, winking at him over her shoulder.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take Hyde?" he asked, furrowing his brow.

"I have the easy one," Emma replied, shrugging her shoulders as she watched Jekyll attempt to make a run from his cell to the front door of the station. Unfortunately for him, Charming was much faster than he looked and grabbed Jekyll be the shoulder, shoving him down the hallway.

"Nice try, Jekyll," Charming grumbled, following him down the hall. "Get in there and put your ass in a chair."

Emma laughed as she watched the pair make their way down the hall. Jekyll was cowering in fear of Charming as he quickly dashed down the hall and into the interrogation roll. The fact that Jekyll knew Charming would put his ass in a chair if he didn't make the whole situation even better.

Slowly, she turned to look at Hyde and smiled softly. He looked at her with a raised brow as she ushered him down the hall to the interrogation room. Upon entering the room, they noticed that Charming had handcuffed Jekyll to the chair. Honestly, it was probably necessary since the little imp had tried to escape just moments before when she let them both out of the cells.

"Please take a seat, Hyde. Dave, can you get me the laptop from the other interrogation room?" Emma asked, allowing her eyes to flick between Jekyll and Hyde. The curiosity on everyone's faces made this moment even more exciting than it had been when Emma came up with the idea to get exactly what she needed to put an end to this craziness.

Charming nodded his head and walked out of the room with one glance over his shoulder at Jekyll to remind him that he was watching him.

Emma sat down at the table and placed the flash drive from her computer on the table in front of them. She watched as both of them glanced down at what she had placed on the table. Hyde smiled, and Jekyll's eyes widened in panic. Emma was the only person in the room who knew what was about to happen.

"Do either of you have something you'd like to tell me before we find out what is on this little device?" she asked, spinning the drive with her fingertips. She could feel a smirk pulling at the corners of her lips and try as she might, she couldn't get the grin to go away. It seemed to be a fixed feature of her face, but that didn't bother her one bit. This was going to be a satisfying moment.

"Can I ask a question?" Hyde questioned, leaning forward to rest his elbows on the table.

"Of course, Mr. Hyde," Emma replied, nodding her head slowly. She leaned back in her chair as she awaited his question.

"What is that little device?" As he spoke, he pointed to the flash drive on the table. He thought he had a vague idea as to what she was about to reveal to them, but he wasn't expecting it to be something so small that would cause Jekyll's demise.

"That device is a flash drive that has the security camera footage on it from the last couple of nights in the station. In particular, the conversation you two had a few days ago after I left you alone for the night," Emma said, her voice filled with amusement. "In fact, this shows you," she said, pointing to Jekyll, "looking right at the camera. It's suspended from the wall above my desk, and everything it records gets stored on my computer. All I had to do was pull up the footage."

Emma pushed the flash drive into the computer and waited for the files to load onto the screen. Once she could see the file names, she was able to select the footage from a few nights ago. She turned the computer around so that Jekyll, Hyde, and Charming could see the show. Clicking play, she leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms over her chest.

The affidavit for Jekyll's arrest and transfer to the Storybrooke Sanitarium was in her back pocket. After the show was over, she and Charming could transfer Dr. Jekyll to the hospital's care and grant Mr. Hyde his freedom once more. Hopefully, he'd be able to find happiness somewhere in Storybrooke, or he could return to The Land of Untold Stories in hopes that he could finally forget Mary and the pain he felt from losing her. He would be able to cope with her loss finally and not remain hidden away from the rest of the world because they think of him as a monster. The truth could finally be revealed.

Emma snickered to herself as she watched Jekyll react to his admission of guilt on the computer screen. All of his nervous tics became apparent as the panic set in when he realized just how screwed he was. He realized that he would be spending the rest of his days in a padded room, being given meds in a timely fashion in the hopes that he could be normal again.

However, Jekyll would never be normal. He was guilty of the murder of the woman he loved, and that was something he would have to live with for the rest of his life. While he could play a charade in the public eye, now he would be forced to accept the fact that he destroyed his own life when he thought he was helping himself.

As the video stopped playing, Emma reached forward and closed the laptop shut in front of the three men. She smiled softly as she pushed herself away from the table. "Mr. Hyde, it is my joy to tell you that you are free to leave and never return to that cell again. You have earned your right to freedom, and you deserve to live your life how you see fit. Should you choose to stay in Storybrooke, I'm sure all of the townspeople will be happy to see you around."

"Thank you, Sheriff Swan," he said, standing up from the chair and extending a hand to her. She shook it quickly and then turned her attention to Charming and Jekyll.

"Officer Charming, could you please assist me in transporting Dr. Jekyll to his new home?" Emma asked. The tone of her voice was gleeful and excited. The smile on Charming's face matched her own delight as he put a hand under Jekyll's arm and jerked him up from the chair.

"Happily," he replied, pulling both of Jekyll's arms behind his back. Latching the handcuffs over both of Jekyll's wrists, Charming started to lead him out the door. "Dr. Jekyll, you are under arrest for the long list of charges that have been written on the affidavit that Sheriff Swan has in her hands. The mayor has already signed off on the transfer, and we will be transporting you the Storybrooke Sanitarium for the rest of your days."

. . . . . . . .

Killian leaned back against the back of the booth and let out a heavy sigh. His mind was running a million miles a minute. Avoiding his future in-laws was a lot more work than he was originally anticipating. He knew that asking for Emma's hand was the right thing to do, but it just added to the pressure that he felt to have the perfect proposal. He scrubbed his hand over his face and carded it through his hair.

"Hey Hook," Henry chirped, sliding into the booth across from Killian. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm supposed to be meeting Emma here for lunch," Killian replied, furrowing his brow and cocking his head to the side as he looked at Henry. "Aren't you supposed to be in school?"

"Half day," Henry said, shrugging his shoulders. "Any updates on Operation Swan?"

Killian tossed his head back with a laugh as he rolled his eyes. Of course, Snow and Charming would send in the back up to get an answer about his plans. As he leaned his head back forward, Killian shook his head. "Not yet, mate. Do you have any ideas?"

Henry thought about it for a few minutes and opened his mouth to say something when the sound of bells cut him off. He glanced up and saw Emma walking through the front door of Granny's with a rather big smile on her face. "Hey, Emma!"

"Hey, kid," Emma said, sliding into the booth beside Killian. She leaned over and kissed him softly on the cheek. "Hey, you. You missed all the excitement at the station today."

"And what excitement was that?" Killian asked, wrapping an arm around Emma's shoulders.

"We caught Dr. Jekyll's confession on the security cameras last night," Emma replied. "Which means no more late nights at the station. At least until the next crazy person starts causing chaos in town."

"That's awesome, Mom," Henry cheered.

"Aye. That's wonderful news, love," Killian said, pulling Emma towards him and placing a kiss on the side of her head. He glanced over at Henry and smiled. The change to Emma's busy schedule might make getting the perfect proposal put into play a little easier. Although, that would require having a plan to put into action first.

"How about a fancy dinner at home to celebrate tonight? We can invite everyone, and I'll even cook. It'll be nice to do something other than investigating criminals with my evening," Emma said, smiling as she looked between Henry and Killian.

"Can I invite Violet?" Henry asked, his cheeks flushing pink for a brief moment.

"Absolutely," Emma hummed. She glanced up at the clock on the wall and let out a sigh. "I've got to go. I told Regina I'd fill her in on the whole Jekyll and Hyde thing. Can you let David and Snow know about dinner tonight?"

"Aye," Killian said, leaning forward and placing a gentle kiss on her lips. "I'll meet you at home later, love."

"Bye, Hook," Emma said, sliding out of the booth. "I'll see ya later, kid."
