Rock Lee's Daring Declaration of Love!

The Sound Trio had peeked out from the bushes at where Kiki had managed to drag the boys. Using some sensory jutsu they had managed to track the three. Kiki had fallen asleep, completely exhausted. Dosu chuckled as he saw her asleep kneeling over the two boys. "Found you." He sneered. "Alright just as Orochimaru ordered, we attack at daybreak, and remember our target is the Uchiha."

"Yeah but if the other two get in our way; It's okay if we take them out right?" Zaku asked.

"Of course," Dosu replied sinisterly.

A few hours later, Kiki felt the sun on her face. She woke up and looked around neither of them had stirred. She sighed feeling Riku's head. To her relief his fever had broken and he was breathing steadily. "Thank goodness." She muttered to herself.

Naruto still hadn't woken up. Maybe she could try shaking him at this point? Suddenly she heard something come close, instinctively she funneled chakra into the tree, causing a branch to fall in front of a squirrel that squeaked and ran off.

The Sound trio watched as the squirrel turned tail and ran. "I was sure that would work! What happened?" Zaku asked. "Did she see the explosion tag we put on the squirrel?"

"No she's trying to use her surrounding to camouflage and defend herself and teammates as much as she can. Nothing gets in or even close. In other words she's using chakra to control that small area, but it hasn't fooled us." Dosu sneered. "Let's get closer," he said with a sinister chuckle.

Lee was jumping through the trees. He had stopped for a minute before noting a cluster of falling leaves. His eyes squinted in determination. "Okay if I can catch all twenty leaves before they hit the ground then Kiki will fall in love with me. If I cannot then she will never return my feelings." He thought to himself the young Brunette standing in his mind. "That is the challenge I am going to give myself." Fire in his eyes he dove catching each leaf and counting as he dove. "Eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen," He said gathering them up quickly. "Yes I am going to get them all!" But suddenly he crashed into a large branch landing on his back and groaned out nineteen in pain. He saw the final leaf and quickly dove after it. But as he did, he noticed a squirrel thrashing around with fire on its back. He landed on the ground and rushed at it ripping off the paper bomb off the Squirrel and holding on in one hand as the Squirrel was recovering from its trauma in the other. "Whew that was close little guy. This paper bomb was almost ready to explode. Who would do such an awful thing?" Lee asked sadly. And in that moment, he had forgotten his challenge and the last leaf, laid quietly on the ground.

Kiki was still watching over the boys when a voice suddenly called out. "Little girl, we know you're here, come out, come out where ever you are." Kiki gasped and watched carefully from within the roots. It was the three sound ninja from before, she inwardly groaned, of all the teams to find her why them!?

Kiki watched, sending chakra into the ground and causing a large tree branch falling towards them. Zaku merely smirked and pointed his hands up blasts of air or wind with a howling sound making Kiki cover her ears and shattering the large branch and showering splinters everywhere. She silently gasped.

"Kin can you pinpoint her location?" Dosu asked as his teammate placed her finger on the ground and making Kiki's blood turn to ice. The girl had to be a sensory type because she smiled and pointed right to where Kiki and the boys were hiding. She smiled and pointed at the roots.

"There." She declared pointing right at the tree in front of them. Zaku took that as a cue to blast everything including the trap she had set before in the ground and the extra roots she had grown.

"Someone's been wasting chakra to hide, but there's no point any more. Now wake Riku up, we want to fight." Zaku smirked.

"No way, especially not in his condition! I don't know what's going on or what your leader is up to, but it ends here!" Kiki growled.

"Hmph I can't stay quiet after hearing that, let's kill her then move on to Riku!" Zaku sneered. They jumped Kiki instantly cut a string that caused a large log to come rushing out at them Dosu placed his hand on it and much like Zaku he had shattered the wood.

"Nice try little girl," Dosu sneered as Kiki got into a fighting stance.

"Leaf Hurricane!" a Voice shouted and a blur of Green came out of nowhere and round kicked the three ninja causing them to crash into the ground before regaining their footing. Kiki gasped and saw Lee jumped down in front of her in a fighting stance.

"Lee!" she shouted.

"You three need to make more effort as ninja, you would have seen me coming if you had." Lee stated pointing out their tunnel vision on Kiki.

"Who are you?" Dosu growled.

"I am the handsome devil of the Leaf Village and my name is Rock Lee!" he declared.

Teams ten and eleven had been hiding from each other one in a dense tree, the other in a thick large bush. Without really knowing who it was they were hiding from. All they knew was that they heard talking; and were waiting for whoever they were hiding from to make a move. Suddenly footsteps, they saw Neji Hyuga turn towards a bush. Yoshi hissed in horror before scooping everyone up and rushing them away. "Move, Move, Move…!" he hissed pushing them along as quickly as he could while Neji barked at the bush.

"Alright, stop hiding and come on out." He commanded. They yelped.

"How could he have found us, we've been hiding for fifteen minutes from the other guys!?" Ino hissed.

"Maybe he's talking to the guys we're hiding from?" Choji suggested meekly.

"I doubt it. What a Drag, what are we supposed to do now?" Shikamaru groaned.

"Okay so our strategy to lay low didn't work. So we'll just have to use plan B." Ino stated.

"What?! Are you serious Ino?!" Choji hissed.

"You've got a problem with that?" Ino hissed. "Trust me this can't fail!"

"Well, what have we got to lose?" Shikamaru sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. They got up and rushed out smiling big.

"Oh wow!" Ino said starring at Neji starry eyed. "Imaging running into last year's number one rookie, Neji Hyuga, all the way out here!"

"Can I have your autograph?" Shikamaru asked.

"Me too?" Choji asked. Ino flipped her hair a bit. "Plan B, where you're floored by my good looks!" then she pulled out her hair tie looking as cute as possible. "Actually Neji, you see I wanted to meet you for so long and-"

"Get lost." Neji said turning and heading off not even looking back; Much to Ino's indigence.

"What?! He should've been enthralled by my beauty! Why didn't that work?! It makes me so mad I could hit something!" She shouted in her thoughts, punching the air rapidly with teeth clenched. Neji suddenly stopped.

"Does that fist you're raising at me mean you want to fight?" Neji asked in a threatening tone, making Ino stop and stand rigid.

"No of course not!" she said nervously like a child who had been caught talking under their breath.

Neji huffed. "Go away, you're annoying. Even if I did steal a scroll from you cowardly weaklings, everyone would just laugh at me for it."

"Sounds good to me," Ino exclaimed as the three of them jumped into the bushes, running as fast as they could.

"Hmph, they scurry away like cockroaches." He muttered.

Shikamaru looked back as they ran. "Just as I thought there's no way someone like him would take a scroll from someone like us unless we turned on him and attacked."

With Team Eleven meanwhile, Yoshi was panting while Sakura and Nika starred at him. Tiko had jumped up onto a low tree branch and hissed at him a couple of times, which Nika had previously warned sounded like a snake.

"What was that about?" Sakura barked glaring.

"You cannot hide from a Hyuga! The only thing to do when ones on the opposite side of you gets close is to run and pray that they do not find you!" He said urgently yet authoritatively.

"I've heard of that the Hyuga Clan, are supposed to have three hundred and sixty degree vision. Possibly no weak point and can see through anything." Sakura added calming down.

"Do you know who was there?" Nika asked.

"Neji Hyuga, there's a chance he wouldn't want to bother with attacking us, but if he's still looking for a scroll and finds out we have both. He might consider it's worth some dignity. Either way it's not worth the risk to make contact." Yoshi replied.

Sakura sighed. "Yeah, that sounds about right, we're nothing compared to the other teams."

"Well I think Ino's team might actually be weaker than we are, but…." Yoshi continued when Tiko's ears twitched before he could finish. "It's that weird sound again."

"What?" Sakura asked. He smelt the air having caught a scent and immediately started jumping through the trees.

"Hey Tiko!" Nika shouted as they followed.

"What are you doing here Lee?" Kiki asked.

"I will always appear when you are in need of my help." Lee stated, putting the squirrel down to run off. "This was all thanks to you little one but now it is time for you to run along." The squirrel scurried away.

"But the test, are you sure?" Kiki asked.

"Yes Kiki I am. I will protect you until I die." He replied.

Kiki gasped and nodded, "You don't have to do this alone, but we'll take them out together." she added coming up beside him. Lee's heart skipped a few beats.

"Yes! She said yes Guy sensei!" Lee thought gleefully to himself.

Dosu sighed, getting out his scroll and throwing it to Zaku. "Looks like I have no choice. Zaku I'll let you take Riku, I'll handle these two." He growled. Kin sneered getting to his side.

"Don't leave me out of the fun." She added she rushed at Kiki who jumped up at her and the two clashed with kunai. Meanwhile Dosu dove at Lee who reached into the ground immediately to everyone's surprise and pulled a large root out of the ground that blocked Dosu making him jump back.

"I am positive there is some kind of trick to your technique, therefore I will waste no time dodging it." Lee said determinedly. "After all, I have seen your jutsu before."

"Whoa he's tough…." Kiki muttered and gasped when Kin took a shot she dodged and sent up roots from the ground to snare and trap Kin. Kin slashed at them, but one snagged her weapon arm tightly. Quickly her other hand pulled some shuriken and hurled them at Kiki, but she deflected them and refocused on quickly disabling Kin; "Looks like her specialty is just sensory jutsu."

Peeking out from the bushes just then was Team Eleven, who were watching the fight unfold. "It's Kiki and those sound weirdos from before." Sakura muttered. "And someone with the most unreal eyebrows I've ever seen." She said with a slight shiver.

"Where are his teammates or Riku and Naruto?" Nika asked, looking carefully for anyone else with a Leaf Headband.

"Good question, there's something we're missing." Yoshi added wondering.

"I saw them; they're out cold under the tree meow. Let's go help!" Tiko exclaimed.

"No way, they can handle those two besides we need to get to the tower." Sakura said going to move but her knees seemed to be locked, Nika stared at her annoyed.

"Well?" he asked hotly.

"Working to it!" she growled, not really able to explain why her body wouldn't move. Did she want to help Kiki?!

As agreed, Neji and Tenten met up at the spot Neji had marked but Lee wasn't there. "Where is he?" Tenten asked. "He's late and he's never late! He's usually fanatical about being on time. Maybe he ran into the enemy." She suggested worriedly. She gasped when Neji didn't say anything. "You don't think-"

"No I'm sure he's fine," Neji replied with a smile. Best case Scenario he was doing some ridiculous challenge for himself somewhere and lost track of time. But still we'd better go find him." Tenten nodded and they took off into the trees.

He thought back to the time Lee had perfected the Lotus Technique. He cheered happily. "Yes I did it I mastered the jutsu!" Lee cheered jumping around.

Neji growled a little jealous as Tenten sighed. "That Jutsu, in the end only Lee could make it his own." Guy thought to himself.

Lee was chattering to himself about trying hard enough as Guy tried to get his attention. "Lee, Lee, LEEEE!" no response, "QUIIEEEET!" he shouted punching Lee that got his attention. "Now listen to your sensei's awesome message."

"Yes! I am ready to hear your amazing wisdom!" Lee stated tears streaming down his face as Tenten just stared in shock Neji looked away annoyed.

"That new Jutsu; The lotus Jutsu is now forbidden." He said to the shock of everyone.

"What, but why!?" Lee asked surprised a little disappointed he wouldn't get to use his hard work.

"This jutsu puts a massive strain on your body. It's a self-sacrificing technique. Normally at most humans use only twenty percent. Do you understand twenty percent Lee?" He asked the boy nodded. "If all the power were to be used the muscles would disintegrate so the brain regulates how much power is used. But this Jutsu is different. It uses chakra which forces the brain to past its limits and use continuous high speed Taijutsu. In other words, this Jutsu uses a special technique which pushes the body almost to the limit of its power it's very dangerous. There's only one time this Jutsu should be used; when a certain condition is met.

"Yes I see. So what is the condition?" Lee asked.

"All of you need to take this to heart the condition is…"

Lee was quickly unwrapping, the bandages on his fore arms not taking his eyes off Dosu. While Kiki and Kin were fighting but he was keeping Dosu and Zaku away from the injured boys. "Guy Sensei. I have to use Lotus the condition has been met."

Kiki had managed to beat Kin down and tie her up with roots the other girl struggled as she panted. Dosu looked over to see this and smirked deciding to attack Kiki while his back was turned. Lee then attacked, "to protect the life of someone precious!" Lee shouted as he suddenly disappeared and reappeared under Dosu as Kiki turned he kicked him up much to her shock. She rushed back between Zaku and her team mates as Lee jumped up behind Dosu using his wrappings like had planned to do with Riku and tied Dosu up grabbing him as well before angling them downward.

"Yes that's going to take care of two, leaving only the loud mouth!" Kiki smiled watching silently cheering.

"Oh no Dosu there's no way he can break his fall." Zaku thought to himself urgently doing hand signs.

"Primary Lotus!" Lee shouted spinning rapidly towards the ground as Zaku slammed his hands into the ground making mole hill like pathways right to where Lee was aiming he jumped away glaring back unsure what he was feeling but he knew he was no longer sure the Jutsu had worked.

Kiki stared breath held. Zaku smirked. "Got you just in time," Dosu's legs were sticking up in the air with his upper half deep into the ground. Kiki thought it looked kind of silly but she didn't laugh, neither did anyone else. "That impact could've been much worse for you."

"No way, this cannot be!" Lee shouted when Dosu pulled himself out of the ground.

"Uhhg that was a frightening Jutsu, it almost took me out even though I landed on this soft dirt!" Dosu sighed. Lee panted, looking very ragged.

"Lee, get out of here!" Kiki shouted. "You've pushed yourself too far!"

"Is she crazy?! She took out the girl but it would still two on one!" Yoshi hissed as he and his team watched.

"And Lee looks like he's in no longer in any condition to fight!" Sakura added gritting her teeth.

Dosu pulled up a sleeve. "Now it's my turn." He rushed forward. Lee inwardly groaned as he moved away at a much slower pace but it was enough to dodge or so he thought. But suddenly he felt a very strange sensation like someone had shaken his brain rapidly. He suddenly felt unbalanced as one of his ears popped several time in a row rapidly.

"Your jutsu is indeed fast. But ours is faster because it travels at the speed of sound." Dosu sneered in Lee's vision he was waving around his voice sounding a bit like robot.

"The funny noise again!" Tiko said going rigid.

"Wait, are they controlling sound with Chakra?" Yoshi asked when he heard the kitten speak.

"Effort by itself does nothing." Dosu mocked watching Lee struggle.

"Lee!" Kiki shouted rushing over.

"Kiki stay back!" Lee shouted at her.

"Yes stay back little girl. Let me use your friend to show you what you're in for. Time to show off the wall." He said sinisterly. As Lee panted trying to recover quickly, Zaku smirked as Lee suddenly vomited.

"Lee what's wrong!?" Kiki shouted as Lee caught his breath, looking weaker.

"You don't think?" Nika said in shock.

"Yeah that had to be the same attack he used on Kabuto." Sakura added.

"It is, but the noise hurt my ears!" Tiko complained.

"We're much closer now and Lee's gotten a bigger bite of it than Kabuto did." Yoshi hissed.

Lee's ear had started bleeding as well. Kiki gasped and went to attack Dosu but Zaku had merely blasted her into a tree.

"Kiki no…." Lee groaned unable to move, "my Ear!" He groaned holding it.

"Wait your turn girly, demonstrations not over yet." Zaku sneered. She got up slowly and glared.

"I should mention this little gadget I wear." Dosu said showing it off, laughing. "You can dodge my blows but you can't dodge it. I don't need to strike you with my fist when I can hit you with sound. "

"Sound…." Lee groaned, still writhing from the pain.

Dosu smiled under his wrappings. "But what makes it possible for the ear to hear things? What is sound really?"

"Vibrations…." Kiki growled glaring, things making more and more sense.

"Give the little lady a prize. Yes the vibration of molecules in the air creates a sound wave. These vibrations are collected by the ear and then directed to the ear drum. The Human eardrum, the tympanic membrane ruptures when exposed to sound levels of excess of one hundred and fifty decibels. More over if the sound is powerful enough to upset the fluid in the deepest inner ear canals, it becomes impossible for you to maintain your balance."

Lee growled at Dosu. "Feeling a little dizzy, nauseous? That's right best to not even try to stand up for a while."

"You see buddy that old fashion Taijutsu stuff won't work against us. Not that you're not pretty good at it but I mean what's the point; compared to our jutsu, that stuff's yesterday's news."

"See I can manipulate supersonic waves and air pressure. I can do things neither of you brats have ever dreamed of." Zaku said. "I can obliterate boulders or even make the ground as soft as a fluffy pillow. Face it you're both up against the jutsu of the future. Even the great Hashirama Senju's wood style isn't all the rage anymore." He sneered.

Lee growled thinking back to his earlier days in training. "Remember this Jutsu is only to be used as a last resort and only to protect someone precious to you."

"Right," Lee replied, "only to protect someone very precious to me."

"You've done well," Guy said grinning and poked his head laughing. "I'll never get over how quickly you mastered the Jutsu I'm proud of you Lee." He said making Lee smile brightly.

Suddenly Kiki and Dosu charged at each other Kiki dodged a blast aimed at her but was still hit by a slight punch from the vibrations and hit the ground getting up. Lee screamed and rushed at Dosu getting between them and swinging his leg, "Leaf Hurricane!"

Dosu jumped over it with ease. "Heh, not so effective as it was before. Still, it's amazing you're able to move we'll have to do something about that." He shouted throwing a punch that Lee blocked however the device on Dosu's arms started vibrating and a sharp ringing ran out. Tiko covered his ears as the rest of his team gasped.

"Do you hear that this device is turning the vibrations into sound waves, that I can control with my Chakra and hit any target I choose."

"Lee move!" Kiki screamed. But it was too late; Dosu channeled the sound waves into Lee's bleeding ear, making him writhe with pain and collapse.

"You bastard!" Kiki snarled sending a barrage of Cutting sprigs at them, that Zaku obliterated with his own jutsu. In that time she had pulled Lee away from Dosu with another root from the tree and set Lee to the side. Looking back at the other boys, they were still out, but a strange and eerie mist was starting to come off Riku's neck.

"Oh yes, I had almost forgotten about you, little girl." Dosu sneered as Kiki glared, standing her ground.

"Riku, Lee and Naruto are out of the count, it's just Kiki all alone against the both of them." Yoshi said, "What do you want to do Sakura?"

"Why are you asking me?" Sakura hissed.

"Because you didn't move when you said you wanted. She can't take them on by herself and she'll die if she tries. You can't just leave her knowing that, can you?" Yoshi asked. "You may not like her but you're not that cruel, if at all."

Sakura gasped thinking back. She remembered in her academy days the other kids made fun of her for her forehead and her lack of skills as a ninja. This was not the case with Kiki. Kiki was beautiful, if a bit scruffy from not taking proper care of her looks, but that somehow added to her charm as far as the other girls were concerned. She was also excelling at class; she knew a lot about the first and second Hokage. Her chakra control was amazing as well, able to use wood style at such a young age. She was also pretty bold. Sakura wished she was more like her and hated her for that.

"Sakura hi!" Kiki called over. Sakura glared and looked away passing her coldly.

"I don't have time for you, which is fine because you probably don't have time for me either." She replied snippily. Kiki just watched her leave wondering what she did wrong…

Kiki had managed to grab Zaku and Dosu lifting them up in the air with roots but the two disappeared leaving behind logs; "Substitution?! where'd they go!?" Kiki asked looking around. She sensed Zaku's attack and jumped away. Only for Dosu to send a blast of sound at her attacking her inner ear like he had done with Lee. Kiki groaned, fighting through the nausea she suddenly felt and landed a chakra infused punch on Dosu's gut knocking him back a bit. Only for Zaku to hit her with a blast of air from behind, making her tumble across the ground, she groaned standing up.

"Brat's got a lot of will power," Zaku hissed.

"You're forcing yourself to ignore the effects of having the liquid in your inner ear disturbed." Dosu said as Kiki shakily pulled herself to her feet. Dosu sent another sound wave at her, making Kiki almost double over as she tasted vomit in her mouth. "But it won't work for long." He smiled with his eye as she spat and wiped her mouth with her sleeve.

Dosu rushed at her again but Kiki used her own substitution to dodge and landed a drop kick on Dosu's head but he grabbed her foot and slammed her hard into the ground. He then attacked both of her ears with another series of sound waves, making them bleed and her screamed in pain. Zaku grabbed her by the collar, lifting her up and kneeing her in the stomach, knocking the air out of her lungs and tossing her towards the tree. Kiki coughed hard, trying to refill her lungs, but nearly choking as what was left in her stomach came spilling out onto the hard ground beneath her.

"They're toying with her." Yoshi gulped. "At this point, they're just trying to break her down, Sakura!"

Sakura was frozen in horror, her body never once obeyed her commands this whole time; until…..

"Now little girl it's time to end this!" Dosu said preparing to throw a punch, only to suddenly feel the sharp blade of a kunai fly right past his face, cutting open his right cheek before biting into the ground. Turning, they saw Sakura glaring hard at them, her right hand still outstretched from her throw as the other boys quickly joined her side.

"More of you!? Tch," Zaku muttered as he turned to Team eleven. "Too bad, I was just starting to have fun with the Senju girl.

"Yeah well, Games over." Nika replied curtly.

"Kiki leave this to us." Yoshi added. Zaku stared at them for a moment before bursting into laughter.

"You three idiots; don't make me laugh, no way in hell you're ninja!" he sneered. They glared getting into a fighting stance.

"Time to show you what we idiots can do!" Sakura said with more confidence then she felt, this may have been their moment to shine or the biggest mistake of their lives!
