The following morning Jane woke before Maura. She silently slipped out of bed making sure not to wake her wife she rounded up both kids and got them downstairs for breakfast. Jane was making pancakes for the kids, coffee for adults and as usual Angela brought over bagels.

"Morning Janie." Angela said walking over to her daughter to give her a kiss on the cheek. "Morning Ma." Jane replys. "What are you and the kids going to do today?" Jane asked sitting down at the table with her coffee and a bagel. "Well I was thinking of taking them to the park and that new kids museum that opened up downtown, maybe out for ice cream and then home for games, tv and popcorn." Angela states. "Try not to give them to much sugar okay Ma?" Jane pleads with her mother who just smiles and waves Jane off.

"I'm assuming you and Maura have work today?" Angela ask with raised eyebrows. "Yeah we do because unfortunately crime waits for no man." Jane says with a chuckle. "But we also have to go make arrangements." The brunette says making eyes at her mother hopeing she would understand without having to go farther into detail because of the kids. "Ohh, that's today?" "I'm sorry Janie." Angela says. "Yeah so we may be a little late grabbing these two from you." Jane says tickling both kids with each hand. "That's perfectly fine Janie I dont mind one bit." Angela says smiling at the two children.

"Good morning everyone." Maura says walking over to her wife to kiss good morning and then the kids. Jane almost spit coffee onto the table. Her wife was always well dressed and beautiful but this morning something was different her wife was glowing. She looked over her wife admiring the way the black skirt clung to toned tanned legs and how the light yellow blouse fit perfectly to the blondes body with one button holding back the view of the beautiful cleavage.

"Good morning beautiful you look amazing as always." Jane says getting up to get her wife some coffee. "Jane sweetie I laid out a suit for you on the bed." Maura says smiling. "Thank you Maur you are the best." The tall brunette says before heading upstairs to get dressed. Once back down stairs they tell both kids goodbye before heading to work.

The morning goes by just like the rest it was now time for Jane and Maura to head out to make arrangements for Adam. They decided to give him a full military service the following day. Jane is going to be one of his pallbearers. She served next to this man through two tours. She lead him into battle, down in the dirt and sand with bullets flying over head the least she could do was carry him to his final resting place.

The ride back home Jane was silent. "What's on you're mind Jane you are awfully quiet." Maura says reaching for her wife's hand. "We have to go shopping for Harper before the services, I mean not just for that but if she is going to stay with us she needs just about everything." Jane says focusing on her driving. "Jane, I know that is not the only thing on your mind." "You hate shopping no matter who or what it's for." Maura says frankly. "So what is really going on inside that beautiful mind of yours?" Maura ask concerned.

"I'm sorry baby." Jane mutters before continuing. "I just cant stop thinking about everything that has happened." "I think I need to go see Dr. Blanchard again." Jane says ashamed. Maura notice the look on Jane's face."Jane, sweetie its okay there is nothing to be ashamed of." "I'm glad that you want to go see him again." "I know you are still having nightmares and that you aren't sleeping well." "I also know you have been getting up in the middle of the night and falling asleep on the couch only to make your way back to bed hours later so I wouldn't know." Maura says looking over her sunglasses at her wife.

"I'm sorry Maur." "I feel like I shouldn't have to go see him, that I should be able to talk to you about all of this stuff." "Does it make me a bad wife because I can't?" The brunette says focusing on the road. "Oh god!" "Sweetheart is that what you think?" "You think your are a bad wife because you can't talk to me about everything?" Maura ask, Jane just nods. "I know you have your reasons for not talking to me about all the bad things." "I know you are just trying to protect me but that doesn't mean that it makes you a bad wife." "You are the most amazing woman I have ever laid eyes on." Maura says giving her wife's hand a squeeze. "How about after the services tomorrow we go see Dr. Blanchard together just like last time?" Maura remains quiet waiting on her wife's answer. "I think that is a good idea Maur, thank you for understanding." Jane says bring her wife's hand up to kiss.

Once back home Maura heads over to the guesthouse to pick up the kids. "Hi Angela are the kids ready to go?" Maura ask seeing the two kids sitting on the livingroom floor playing. "If you want they can stay another night its really not a problem." Angela says smiling at the blonde. "No, Angela we couldn't ask you for that again you have to have a life too." Maura says with a smile. "Oh nonsense." Angela says swatting Maura on the arm.

"I love having them over Harper is so sweet and she plays so well with Ethan. "He absolutely loves her." Angela says with a smiling looking back at her grandson and Harper. "Well." Maura says pulling Angela into the kitchen out of ear shot of the kids. "Jane and I were going to wait until everything was final before telling anyone but." Maura pauses for a minute.

"But what Maura?" Angela questions with wide eyes. "We are going to adopt Harper." Maura says with a sequel. "Oh, oh god Maur that's great news!". "I'm going to have another grandchild!" Angela couldnt hold back her excitement she threw her arms around Maura and they both start bouncing up and down in the kitchen. "But you can't tell a soul Angela." "Jane and I want to talk it over with Harper first." Maura states frankly.

"My lips are sealed." Angela says with a huge smile. "We are going to have dinner tonight with the kids and talk to Harper after." "I just hope that she wants to be a part of our family as much as we want her to be." Maura says looking at the kids again. "Oh sweetie I dont think you two have anything to worry about." Anagla says placing a reassuring hand on Maura's shoulder.
