29. Announcement and Good News!

HELLO!

It's been a while since my last update...

April 2018... ( ˙▿˙ )

But I've got good news...

I will be continuing this story again!

The reason for my lack of updates for the last 2 years is because I felt like I had no inspiration for it even though I was rewriting it properly (because I've rewritten this story probably 2-3 times, yeesh). I remember just hovering my hands over the keyboard and sighing. Now that I think back, I most likely still wasn't satisfied with my rewrite. So, I took a step back from it. I thought a nice change of pace would be great since there was no point in writing a story you weren't motivated to do.

And just as started looking back on Freezing a like 2-3 days ago, I found myself feeling nostalgic and full of inspiration. It wasn't just that, I suddenly had a flood of new ideas to add to my plot for it. It also helps that Fairy Tail ended since I can stretch my ideas with the plot. Now, my story was refined to the point where I feel excited to write.

Basically, I feel ready to write this story again and I'm super happy about it! Freezing is my first fanfic and it's literally my child (yeah, a child I neglected for two years...) so I obviously want to finish it.

I started this story in 2012... I was 12 man, I'm pretty sure I didn't know how the heck I wanted this story to turn out, I just knew I wanted to make a nice fanfic despite having a vague idea of the endgame. I was an amateur at writing this thing. But now it's different since I've grown a lot in the past two years.

I will not be deleting and rewriting chapters like I used to do. I will keep this up and start a new story by the name Re:Freezing (I think it looks cooler than Freezing Rewrite). My reasons for doing that is because I really want to start from scratch. I don't know if people who favorited/followed this story before are still on this site or if they still want to read this. Also, I want to see new reviews for only the new chapters, not new reviews combined with old ones for the old chapters that were removed. I'm really starting from zero.

I will definitely finish this story this time.
