Hazel petted the cat with a wide smile. She tilted her head at the feline with interest. "Hmm…" She tapped her chin before saying, "I think...I'll name you...Butterscotch!" She said with an even wider smile.

The kitten mewed happily at that. She rubbed her head against Hazel's hand, clearly wanting her attention.

Hazel merely chuckled at that. The fluffiness of the feline tickled her hands. Hazel looked around for the ball of yarn that she had made of the cat. While looking for the yarn, she noticed Hades. He still looked, for a lack of better words, zombified.

Hazel frowned at that before placing the kitten down. Butterscotch looked at Hazel with an expression of confusion. That's when Hazel tossed the yarn ball. The kitten immediately chased after it while Hazel smiled in amusement. After that, she approached the god.

"Hey." Hazel said as she sat beside him. She offered him a pleasant smile.

Hades was staring into space a bit before blinking and glancing at her. "Hi." He said simply before looking down at the floor again.

Hazel looked at him with sympathy. "Umm...did I...do something wrong?" She asked mainly referring to the hug.

"...No." Hades muttered with a frown as he shook his head.

She smiled the slightest at that before looking at him. "You seem to have something on your mind. Do you...wanna talk about it?" Hazel blinked and looked down. "I can tell you what's been bothering me if it will make you feel more comfortable…" She said timidly.

"I don't see the point...it happened over a century ago and I doubt anything has changed." Hades said while folding his arms.

Hazel blinked before laying a hand on his chilled arm. "...Sometimes saying it helps." She offered him a small smile.

"...Or it will only make it more real." He said with a frown.

Hazel frowned at that. "Maybe, but that's all a part of healing. Despite the pain, you have to clean the wounds."

Hades shook his head and closed his eyes. "I'm meant to have wounds, I'm god of the underworld, the forgotten brother and god, the one who literally pulled the short stick…" He chuckled coldly. "Almost like I was born to get all the shit."

"The cursed one." Hazel replied as If she knew the feeling. "Well...I could go first. Is that okay?"

He waved his hand at that, silently gesturing for her to go ahead.

Hazel nodded at that before taking a deep breath. "I had a dream last night, but...I could tell it was real. That was when I met a man...err...god. He said his name was Jupiter and that he was my father. He said...basically, that I have to survive a minute in the Colosseum with him to be considered his child. If not...I'll be shunned." She looked to the side with a sigh. "Of course I accepted. Having a father was completely out of the picture until this morning. I mean...it's a chance. I just...have no idea how I'm going to pull this off. I'm good with my powers, but there is so much about them that I don't know about." She looked at him slowly before blinking in shock due to his expression.

Hades was, for a lack of better words, red in fury. The god was so angry in fact, that he had somehow managed to break his finger. "...Jupiter is your father? And...he said that?" He asked, looking like he was about to blow up an entire forest in his rage.

Hazel shrunk at that. She swallowed before saying, "Apparently...I only found out this morning…" She looked down.

"...He's the bastard I chased out of here." Hades said bluntly with a visible twitch. "...Don't believe a single word that bastard says, he's no better than my father and that asshole freaking ate us!" He said with a growl.

Hazel blinked at that before frowning. She sighed before she looked down. "I just...I don't know. I-I...always wanted a father…" She said in an almost pitiful manner.

The god reached out and laid his hand on hers. "Jupiter is not a father-he...he's nothing more than another version of my father that's still running around bullshitting the world. If you knew what he has done...to everyone close to him...you would not want to be within a mile of that asshole. There's a reason why he's on my list...and it's not because he's like my brother." He said with a deeply unhappy expression.

Hazel blinked at that before nodding. "I understand. I'll see what I can do." She sighed at that. "I've already given him My word."

"And I've given him my word that he's going to find himself in a deep dark part of hell with the other immortal prisoners I've locked up. That's why he ran so fast...because he knows that he's in trouble and I'm not exactly a fair judge." Hades said with a small smirk.

Hazel nodded at that. "Until you catch him, I've got to figure out a way not to get fried in the first five seconds of the match." She said, her eyes burrowing in thought.

"If he fries you...I'll just use some good old hellfire and see how it works on a roman. I've never had the opportunity to try it…" Hades said with a dark look entering his eyes.

Hazel looked at him in exasperation. "You know I actually have to fight him. I wouldn't be surprised if I did get zapped a few times." She said with a shrug.

"Why not just burn his toes off then kick his ass while he's whining like a baby over his toes? If he reacts to fire like my brother...then he cares about his assets quite a bit." Hades asked with a wide grin.

Hazel blinked at that Before tilting her head. "I...don't know if my fire is strong enough to do...that…" She said with a raised eyebrow.

Hades stared her before abruptly making a pure black flame appear in his hand. "...Do you think he'd notice if you cheated a bit?" He asked with a straight face.

Hazel blinked at that. "I...well, he only said he'd check up on me periodically, but I don't think he'd be around here while you're awake." She said in thought before looking at him in sudden confusion. "Cheat? What do you mean by cheat?"

"I mean, bottle up some good old hellfire, wear it as a necklace, then throw it at him." Hades said with a blink. "Hellfire burns through anything in existence and can't be put out unless I blow it out." He said before suddenly summoning a bone and putting the flame on it. Within mere seconds the bone was completely melted while the fire still sat in the god's hand. "I've perfected it to not kill the enemy...just to cause...a lot of pain. I can't kill the prisoners." He chuckled with a smirk before blowing out the flame.

Hazel blinked at that with a nod. She smiled at that. "I can use that just in case something is not quite right. Thank you." She said with a smile.

The god nodded with a smirk as he made a golden bottle appear before he blew a small black flame in it. The bottle glowed black before Hades shook it like it was a glowstick so that it was completely glowing. "Ta-da. One seemingly cute innocent pendant." He said with a chuckle as he attached to a golden necklace and handed it over to her.

Hazel held it gently and looked over it with interest. "Is this gold? I didn't know you had control over metals." She said with a blink before putting it around her neck. Hazel tilted her head, seeing it did look quite nice.

"I'm not called the richest god for nothing." Hades said while snapping his fingers as he made a diamond appear in his free hand. "My appearance may say otherwise, but I control all things related to the Underworld. Shadows, fear, the undead, death, sometimes life, metals, ooh lava, that's a classic, then there's the fact I can split the ground open." He listed before pausing as he tried to think if he had missed anything.

Hazel nodded at that, clearly impressed. "Besides all of the...creepy stuff. You and I have a few similar abilities." She looked down before smiling a bit. "Do you think you can help me?"

Hades blinked and tilted his head. "...You want me to help you? Me? Hades, the psychotic moron and the one that everyone fears like the plague?" He asked in complete surprise.

Hazel nodded as her smile became larger. "Uhh...yeah." She looked at him fondly. "I like you." She said casually.

He stared at her before promptly poking her on the head. "...And you aren't spelled...to like me." He said blankly while looking at her.

Hazel blinked at that. She chuckled after a couple seconds. "No. I can assure you. I am not spelled." She said in amusement with a lingering smile.

"...Remind me again why you don't find me appalling?" Hades asked in a dumbfounded manner.

Hazel rolled her eyes before saying, "I noticed that you are...well...deprived of kindness. Because of that it makes you pretty grouchy. Besides that, I feel comfortable opening up to you and you helped me out. So...I consider us friends." She said before looking back at him.

Hades looked even more confused at that. "I...uh…" For once, the talkative god...had no words.

Hazel blinked at that before frowning a but. "...Do you know what friends are?" She tilted her head.

"Wha-Of course I do! They're the ones you don't kill!" Hades said while folding his arms.

Hazel blinked at that before offering a smile. "That's...one part. Friends are also people that have your back. They defend you, they...comfort you, they help you when you need it. Good friends do a lot for the people they care about." She said with a nod in satisfaction. "Have you...had anyone like that?" She tilted her head in curiosity.

Hades looked like he wanted to say 'yes' but instead turned away and looked elsewhere.

Hazel tilted her head at that. She looked at him with interest. "Have you? Whoever they were, they must have been special. They m-must have been dear to you." She looked him over. "It's okay to tell me."

Hades was silent for a few minutes before he finally glanced at her. "My sister." He said in a calm tone despite how tense he appeared to be concerning the subject.

Hazel nodded at that. "Your sister." She tilted her head in thought. "Which one?" The ruby haired girl reached out for his hand with the broken finger before working on it.

"Hestia, my...oldest sister." Hades said while looking down.

Hazel glanced back up at him with interest. "What happened?" She noticed how tense he had become.

"My...stupid brother...sort of locked in her within Olympus...over a century ago." Hades said as he fiddled with the zipper on his jacket.

Hazel looked down at that before thinking. Her eyes changed multiple colors. "I see…" She blinked before looking back up. "What if...you went back and got her? I mean...I can help you." She said with a tilt of her head.

"There's the twelve main morons...then there's all the minor idiots. The only reason I got so close the first time was because of the titans...and that required a planetary alignment just to open the cage." Hades said with a small frown.

Hazel tapped her chin with a small frown as well. "Huh. Seems like we need a distraction." She said, looking up in thought.

"It would have to be one hell of a distraction to cause them all to leave Hestia alone." Hades said with a dry chuckle.

Hazel nodded at that before looking at him. "Well, you're the master of mayhem. Do you have any ideas?" She asked with a smile.

Hades looked down before smirking. "...I have just the moron for the job." He said with a chuckle. "They'll beat us there."

Hazel grinned at that. "Sounds like a plan." Once she was finished with his finger, she hugged him again. "Don't worry. We'll get your sister back."

Hades nodded. "I can teleport us there. If you want…"

Hazel nodded at that before releasing him. "Sure...right after I get my shoes…" She chuckled.

After the young woman put back on her heels, she nodded with a smile. "Ready." She made her way back to him.

The god clicked his tongue before snapping his fingers and teleporting them both away in dual blue flame pillars.

Just as soon as they left, Audrey reappeared and looked around for somebody before sighing. "This is probably Hades-" She stopped as soon as she saw the kitten staring up at her. "...Oh no-Don't you even think about it!" She said before promptly taking off towards the other room when the kitten charged at her.

Once they reappeared, Hades couldn't help but snort at the sight in front of them. Currently, the mountain that Olympus was atop of...was being attacked by a massive three-headed dog.

Hazel blinked at that before smirking. "Wow. That's so horrible it's impressive." She placed her hands on her hips.

"It gets even worse since I put my...completely insane...coworker on Cerberus." Hades said clearing his throat a bit as he gestured to several sudden green explosions.

Hazel nodded at that. "Truly despicable, oh great master of mayhem." She watched with amusement. "Now that's a distraction."

"Ironically...that's not even the biggest Cerberus has been. She was bigger when my sister grew to like fifty feet or something and chased me down for kidnapping her daughter." Hades said in a casual manner.

Hazel tilted her head. "Y-you know, I think I read about that." She turned to look around. "As much as I would like to get some popcorn, we should start looking for your sister." She said, looking over the green explosions.

"Probably, especially since my idiot brother is handling Hecate." Hades commented, pointing out the fact that a storm had started to brew while there were suddenly countless copies of the woman causing the explosions.

Hazel nodded at that. "Yeah, we should go. Where is she kept?" She asked, ready to follow the god.

"She has a room near the main meeting and tantrum room. My brother is a real whiny baby even at 3,000 something years old." Hades said as he flicked his hand to make a portal appear.

Hazel agreed with him as she nodded. She pointed to the portal before asking, "We walk through here?"

"Yeah, will lead us to the meeting room. Off the chance she's in there from a meeting we interrupted, I'd rather start there first." Hades said before walking through the portal.

Hazel nodded at that. "Sorry. I'm not used to...walking through portals." She chuckled before stepping through, immediately finding herself in another room. She looked around in amazement and confusion.

Hades mostly ignored the mostly golden room and glanced around for his sister. "Usually she's off to the side since she's gotta keep the peace between these morons." He said as he didn't pay any attention to the twelve golden thrones.

Hazel, on the other hand, looked around with her mouth agape. "Uh huh…" She tilted her head. "I never thought I'd ever be sneaking in Olympus with Hades to save his sister. If someone told me that, I'd think they were crazy." She said with humor.

"I think anything with Hades in the sentence would make you think that they're crazy." Hades said with a chuckle.

Hazel laughed at that with a nod. "True. I cannot deny that one." She shook her head as she continued to look around.

Hades walked over and inspected the area with a firepit before he looked up thoughtfully. "...She left as soon as Cerberus started to attack." He said aloud.

"Really?" Hazel looked around before tilting her head. "Where would she be now?" She asked before looking up.

Hades looked around and was about to respond when, out of nowhere, a man with winged sandals and golden armor flew around the corner. "...Shit." Was all Hades could mutter out before the man noticed him and grinned widely.

"HADES!" The man said with zero fear in his voice as he floated down to the exasperated god. "I didn't know you were free! I thought Hecate took over Cerberus after twenty years!" He said while scratching the side of his head.

Hades sighed in annoyance before looking at Hazel. "...And here I thought they were all gone." He said with a twitch.

Hazel looked at their encounter curiously. "At least he doesn't seem to want to snitch us out." She said with a nervous smile.

Hades pushed the man away when he got too close and rolled his eyes. "This moron is Hermes...and the reason he's happy I'm free and not minding the fact that we are kidnapping someone...is because he's a massive trickster. Not to mention, Patron of Thieves." He deadpanned with halved eyes.

Hazel blinked before smiling, "If I wasn't already friends with you, I'd think I'm in terrible company." She shook her head in amusement. "My name's Hazel." She told the happier god.

Hermes happily waved with the hand that had a sword in it. "Names Hermes, Messenger God of Olympus. Hades and I go way back since I guide the souls to his digs." He said while slinging his arm around the cranky god.

Hazel tapped her chin at that. "Hermes...Hermes...ah!" She snapped her fingers as she remembered. "N-now I remember you. You're the one that travels super fast." She said with a smile.

Hades groaned as a plate of sushi suddenly appeared in Hermes' hand. "Fresh from Japan, want some?" He asked while Hades scowled and shook his head.

Hazel blinked at that with a smile. "Thanks. By the way, would you happen to know where Hestia is?" She asked, taking a spicy tuna roll.

"Oh, you came to see Hestia?" Hermes asked Hades with a grin.

"...Either point us to her or get her." Hades said in a deadpan.

Hermes shrugged as the plate was now in Hazel's hands. "I'll just go get her then, she left to go...what did she say?" He was about to pause when Hades whacked him on the back of the helmet. "Right-right, I'll just go get her." He said with a grin before zipping off around the corner again.

Hazel smiled at that before looking down at the plate of sushi. She popped a few in her mouth. "Oooh...these are f-fresh." She said before nibbling on a few more.

"That's Hermes for you...If he wants to impress, he can go faster than light." Hades said with a roll of his eyes.

Hazel tilted her head as she tried to figure out something. "It's a mystery how he got the sushi to stay on the plate at that speed…" Her eyebrows furrowed.

"Half the time he can't even see windows, so don't ask me for that answer." Hades said, shaking his head as he looked around.

Hazel nodded at that. "Eh...I'll Just take what I've got a-and run with it." She shook her head before popping another.

"It's for the best concerning that moron." Hades said with a deadpan.

Hazel blinked before tilting her head. "For such a fast guy, I wonder what's taking him so long." She said with thought.

Hades shrugged before spying Hermes with another woman. The woman was holding a basket while her fiery eyes looked around in mild confusion. She adjusted her headcloth and blinked before she spied Hades and stopped.

Hermes floated over to Hazel with a bucket of popcorn. "She was in the process of knitting a blanket." He said with a small shrug.

Hazel glanced at him. "...Oh." She said with a nod. The young woman popped another piece of sushi in her mouth before bringing her attention back to the other two.

The woman tilted her head a bit as she approached him. "...Hades? You...look far more healthy." She said with a smile before abruptly hugging him.

Hermes, feeling the need to explain, munched on some popcorn and nodded. "Yeah, he was pretty darn pale, blue almost." He said as he tried to hold in a snicker.

Hazel blinked at that. She finished off the sushi with a shake of her head. "A little sun does wonders." She said, chewing with a smile.

"No kidding." Hermes said with a smirk.

Ignoring their banter, Hades was quick to hug his shorter sister back and smiled a bit as she pulled away. "Yeah...Zeus put me on an island above ground for twenty odd years." He said nonchalantly.

Hestia nodded before looking around. "Tell me it wasn't Hecate who told Cerberus to attack."

"No, that was me. It was her idea to break you out initially, I just threw the distraction in." Hades said while jabbing his thumb at Hazel.

Hermes looked at her with an impressed look. "Planning a rescue...from Olympus. I knew I liked you from the start." He said with a grin.

Hazel chuckled at that. "Believe it or not, I talked my friend into busting him out." She shrugged. "What can I say? I'm on a roll." She said with humor.

Hermes nodded. "Hmm...You think Hades would mind if I sneak out and follow him back?" He said, prompting Hades to twitch.

"Yes! He would mind!" Hades said loudly.

Hermes ignored him. "...50/50?"

Hazel couldn't help but to laugh. "If I were you, I'd take those odds." She said with a smirk.

"Hermes...don't think about it." Hades said in an irate manner as Hestia chuckled.

Hermes blinked before he suddenly zoomed away from the scene while the bucket of popcorn fell to the ground.

Hazel tilted her head. "Why do I have the f-feeling you've been ignored?" She tilted her head at Hades.

"Because...I have been." Hades grumbled as he summoned a portal.

Hazel smiled, amused by the god's exasperation. She didn't hesitate to walk through the portal. "That was fun." She said as soon as she stepped into the other side.

Hestia followed soon after without a word and chuckled at her brother. Hades scowled before huffing and walking through it as well.

Hazel sighed as she sat down with a smile. "Well, Hestia. Make yourself at home. I'll just be looking for my-" She said before she saw the funniest scene.

Audrey appeared to be running from her kitten. The kitten was clearly aiming for her legs. Butterscotch was pretty small and agile so she easily kept up with the woman. The funny part is, the kitten though it was a game.

Hazel shook her head in amusement before walking over. She picked up the cat with ease. "Hello, Audrey." She said, petting her kitten.

Audrey sighed as soon as the kitten was away from her. "Hello Hazel, I need to be going since your...ugh...chased me around for the thirty minutes I was left with it." She said as she moved past her, subtly plucking a hair off of Hazel's head before she whipped around. "I'll be back before dinner though." She shrugged with a smirk before walking towards her room.

Hazel blinked at that before nodding. "Umm...alright. I-I'll make something special then." She said with a smile before placing the kitten on her shoulder and heading to the kitchen.

8888888

Hazel has been in the kitchen for the better part of three hours. She had been working hard on a dish that she wanted to make sure Audrey would actually like. She had decided on pasta tonight. Easy, fancy, yet pretty time consuming if you make fancy fixings. Hazel shrugged at the sides; salad, bread rolls, and soup.

She placed her hands on her hips and smiled. After she stared for a few moments, she glanced out of a nearby window. "This place would make a beautiful garden…" She thought most to herself.

Hazel sighed at that, her head tilting. That doesn't sound like a bad idea. For now, she had to let everyone know that dinner was good to go. That's when she walked out of the kitchen.

Hazel calmly walked out before glancing around. "Alright, guys. Dinner is ready. I made a few sides with it so we all could-" She stopped with a gasp as she recognised an unconscious woman laying on the couch.

If Hazel was holding something, she would have dropped it in a heartbeat. She dashed over to the woman. The woman, thankfully, was still breathing. She just seemed in a deep sleep. Hazel checked her and looked her over. This woman was her mother, Elsa. Former queen of Arendelle.

Hazel took a deep breath as her eyes flashed a deep pink. "What did you do!?" She said, immediately turning toward a guilty looking Audrey.

"She wasn't agreeing with me or disagreeing and she has powers and could have done something-I had no choice!" Audrey said with a frown. "Besides, she's just asleep, ask Hades!" She said, pointing to the god who appeared to be fixated by the sight of the unconscious blonde woman.

Hazel stood before looking at Audrey with a hint of anger in her multicolored eyes. "What were you doing outside of Auradon?" She looked her over.

"Paying a visit to royals." Audrey said simply.

Hazel twitched at that before pacing. She shook her head as she walked about in thought. She tried to walk off her anger. "...You need to wake her up." She said in a pleading manner.

Audrey blinked and shook her head. "Are you crazy? She could flip out and freeze all of us!" She said in a huff. "I can't do that, Hazel."

Hazel frowned at that. "I have no sister, you've spelled my aunt, uncle, and all of my cousins, I have no father. She's my mother. She's the last family member I have!" She said with a deep frown.

"I know that she means a lot to you, but I can't do it. Not without risking everything we have now!" Audrey said with a frown.

Hazel's eyes watered as her anger piqued. She closed her eyes before releasing it all in a sigh. "Fine. Do what you wish." She said before kneeling down beside her mother, watching her sleep before closing her eyes.

While Audrey huffed and walked away, Hades tilted his head as he pulled out a blue glowing rock that fit perfectly in his hand. He glanced at Hazel before he raised it and quickly absorbed the magic that was holding the woman asleep.

This immediately caused Elsa to stir. The woman's sapphire eyes fluttered for a bit before her eyes focused on her daughter. "...Hazel?" She slowly sat up as Hazel gasped.

Hazel smiled widely at that before capturing her in a hug. "You're okay!"

Elsa just looked around blankly before she smiled at that. That was before she looked around...and her eyes landed on Hades.

Elsa looked like she was about to jump out the nearest window before Hazel waved her hands. "Don't freak out! He's a...a friend." She started with a nervous smile.

Elsa's fearful gaze turned into one of exasperation. "...Why do I have the sudden urge to ground you?" She kept up the deadpan as she looked at her child.

Hazel nervously chuckled at that. "It's a...long story. Anyway, this is Hestia and Hades." She gestured to them.

Elsa looked at both of them warily. Well...she mostly looked at Hades warily. He did quite a bit of...staring. "H-hello? I'm Elsa?" She said, brushing a strand of hair that fell in her face.

Hades didn't respond until Hestia clapped her hands. The god blinked and shook his head as if he had been in a trance. "Hades." He said as he moved his eyes to the ground while hiding the stone in his pocket again.

Elsa nodded at that before offering the smallest of smiles.

Hazel smiled at that before standing. That's when Elsa grabbed at Hazel's hand. Elsa blinked before saying, "Please don't just...leave me in here." She whispered with a pleading look.

Hazel blinked at that. "Mom, it's fine. I'm just going to make someone's plate for dinner. I'll be right back." She said with a smile before heading to the kitchen.

Elsa pouted at that. "Oh...fine." She said before folding her arms.

Hestia smiled at her before sighing. "It seems I put down my blue yarn. Hades, have you seen it?" She asked innocently with a blink of her eyes.

Hades waved his hand. "In the kitchen. You put it down to make cookies probably thirty minutes ago." He said as he kept his eyes glued to the ground.

Hestia blinked. "Oh, that reminds me! You need to try my new recipe I came up with 63 years ago! Let me go get them!" She said in a cheery manner as she put down the blanket she was knitting and ran off to the kitchen.

Hades groaned at that and sighed. "Of course she has a new recipe…" He said mainly to himself.

Elsa noticed the goddess leaving as well. She frowned even more at that. Now, she is alone with Hades. The God that the whole world is talking about and not in a good light. Eventually…the winter woman had gotten bored.

"I assume I'll be stuck here for a little while…" She started before saying. "Maybe we could start off on the right foot." Elsa said before glancing at him.

Hades didn't respond right away but shrugged. "I guess." He said simply, sighing as he laid down and covered his eyes.

Elsa nodded at that before smiling the slightest. "Okay, well, I find walking where no one can find me to be relaxing. It helps me think." Then she turned to him. "What do you think of as relaxing?"

"...Sleeping. It's all you can do on the Isle when...you're me." Hades said with a bit of a sigh.

Elsa nodded at that before looking around. "Any favorite colors?" She tilted her head before glancing at Hades with curiosity.

"Black and blue." Hades said with a simple shrug.

Elsa glanced at him before saying, "Huh. Mine are white and blue. Although, I do appreciate the occasional green every Now and then." She said, smiling a bit.

That's when she tilted her head. "Audrey came out of nowhere, asked me a ton of questions, then brought me here. I have grown a bit parched." Elsa looked at him curiously. "Do you know where the water is kept? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to move…"

Hades, instead of answering, made a glass of water appear. "I wouldn't go into the kitchen. My sister can be a bit much with new recipes." He said, not seeming to care that the glass he made looked mostly made of different gems.

Elsa blinked at that before tilting her head at the glass. She offered a smile. "Thank you." She said before sipping the water.

"It's nothing." Hades said with a shrug.

Elsa shook her head at that. "A glass of water from Hades means a lot. She said with a smile.

Hades frowned a bit and sighed. "Let me guess...it means a lot because everyone is taught that I have no compassion or kindness? That I'm cold...and deader than dead." He said, not sounding angry...but tired as he spoke.

Elsa shrugged at that. "That and...the cup is beautiful." She said with a guilty smile.

"...Yeah, sorry." Hades responded with a hint of a smirk.

Elsa shook her head at that. "I've...never heard of someone apologize for a compliment before." She said with a tilt of her head.

"And I haven't had a real compliment in a thousand years top." Hades said with a shrug.

Elsa looked at him in confusion at that. When she was about to ask, that's when Hazel arrived with a plate of food. "Here, mother. Oh, glad you've got water already." Hazel said with a smile.

Elsa nodded at that. "Yes, I had already thanked my unexpected source. She said with a chuckle. "Isn't that correct?" She looked at Hades.

Hades nodded with a small thumbs up before he went back to covering his eyes.

Hazel smiled wider at that. "Well, I'm going to get Audrey's plate." She said, stepping into the kitchen once more.

While Elsa began to feel slightly more comfortable around the god and continued to talk to him, Hazel grabbed Audrey's food. It took her no time to make it to her room. She, as usual, cracked the door and peeked in. "Audrey..?" She called timidly.

Audrey was sitting on the bench area of her large window with a frown on her face while the Scepter was leaning on the wall next to her.

Hazel sighed at that. She opened the door wider with her foot before closing it. "Audrey. I...brought you this." She said, badly wanting to comfort the woman but held back.

Audrey silently nodded her a thanks as she continued to stare out the window while she brought her knees to her chest.

Hazel frowned deeper at that. She walked over to Audrey and held out her plate. "I'm...I-I-I'm sorry, Audrey."

Audrey glanced at her and shook her head. "It's fine." She mumbled quietly while taking the plate.

Hazel went over and sat on the bench beside Audrey. "I know, but...are you fine? I've-I've never gotten that upset with you." She looked over.

"I...I am fine, Hazel." Audrey said before she began eating at a rather fast pace.

"You hesitated." Hazel pointed out. She sighed before asking, "Do you need a hug?"

Audrey shook her head as she continued eating.

Hazel looked around at that before she turned her gaze elsewhere. She looked outside of the window. "You know, I'm thinking about making a garden out there."

"...It'd be nice." Audrey said quietly.

Hazel nodded at that before saying, "I'm thinking about a mushroom farm there. Tomatoes growing up there. A few different flowers over there." She tilted her head. "Should I make something weird like...I don't know...a pizza tree?"

"...Somehow, I think that would make only more people find this place. The angry blue guy is already a pretty big landmark." Audrey said with a head tilt.

Hazel blinked at that. "You're right about that…" She scratched her head. "I'll save the tree for when this blows over." That's when Hazel frowned before looking at her. "How long do you plan on this going on for?"

Audrey shook her head and sighed. "...I don't know. I expected them to do something since I did all that with the royals...but they've done little to nothing. No hunt for the evil Audrey...nothing." She said with a frown. "I'm not sure what to do next."

Hazel blinked and nodded at that. "You didn't think you'd get this far?" She offered a smile before looking at her.

"Not without resistance." Audrey said with a small shrug.

Hazel nodded again. "So, you're not sure what to do. Maybe we can meet up later and see if we can come up with some ideas." She said as she subtly scooted closer.

"Maybe...but if Hades tries to pitch in...There goes half of the country." Audrey said as she looked down at her food.

Hazel winced at that. "Yeah…" She glanced at Audrey before scooting again. "I understand the struggle. Especially with this kind of decision."

She said before giving Audrey a surprise hug. Hazel pulled Audrey close with a large smile.

Audrey blinked as her bowl spilled on her due to the hug. She sighed and tapped Hazel on the shoulder. "...Hazel?" She asked, knowing the girl didn't know what she had done.

Hazel parted, yet still embracing the other woman. "Yeah?" She looked at her in confusion.

Audrey gestured to herself with a small grimace. "Just uh...bit of an issue."

Hazel looked down before releasing her completely. She winced before rapidly apologizing. "Oh man. I-I'm sorry." She said, doing her best to try and clean up What she could.

"I-It's fine...I'll just use the scepter since I used it initially." Audrey said before she turned and tried reaching for it.

Hazel noticed Audrey's struggle before standing. "It's okay. I'll get it." She said, race walking over to the scepter.

Hazel looked over it before trying to give it to Audrey. However, in her rushed panic, she grabbed a hold to a jagged, sharp point. It cut into her hand a bit, prompting Hazel to silently hiss in pain. "Ow...here." She said before holding out the scepter. This couldn't possibly get any worse.

Audrey took it before blinking as it glowed red. "...Well that's new." Was all she got out before it shot out a beam of magic on its own...resulting in yet another explosion of pinkish red smoke.

Hazel looked at the cloud of smoke with shock before saying, "Does it...usually glow that color..?" She asked in her worry.

"...It never described it turning that color in the books...Then again it also says humans can't use it." Audrey said in confusion.

Hazel looked down at her hand and noticed the trail of blood that ran down her palm. "...What powers that thing?"

"Um...to substitute the magic needed...I may have used some...blood related dark ritual...stuff." Audrey said with a nervous smile.

Hazel blinked at that before looking at her hand again. "My blood...and my magic…" Her eyebrows furrowed before she heard something close to a squeak.

Where the pink smoke once stood was a baby of all things. She seemed to be no older than 2. The child smiled at them happily, her rainbow eyes looking over them with interest. The baby had Audrey's hair and skin, but Hazel's freckles. She giggled as they looked at her in shock.

"Oh...my god…" Audrey said in complete shock.
