It was about noon on a Sunday afternoon. Natalie decided to take Rossi up on his coffee offer from so many weeks ago.

She greeted him as he entered the coffee shop located near her house.

"Hi, Rossi." She greeted.

"You can call me Dave now, you know." Rossi replied.

Natalie tilted her head back and forth, "I know. It's weird. I'm sticking to Rossi."

He chuckled, "I'm buying. Get what you want."

She leaned her head to the right and crept her mouth up into a half smile,

"Thank you."

He motioned with his hand to tell her to go ahead.

They had ordered their drinks and sat down.

"Natalie, are you okay?" He asked, sincerely.

"Yes." She replied, quickly.

"You visited Cat, right?" She nodded. "How did that go?"

Natalie shut her eyes, she cupped her coffee a little tighter, and took a deep breath,

"Not good. Morgan had to come in and calm me down because it got dicey."

"What happened?" Rossi asked, "You don't normally. What happened?"

"I think…she told me it was my fault, what happened and then she mentioned Spence. I think she has a crush on him." Natalie made an ick face. "It just, it all got to me."

Rossi nodded, he was saying I told you so without verbally expressing anything.

Natalie shrugged her shoulders and leaned her head a little to say really with her body language.

Rossi chuckled and shook his head, "No. Cat's in prison for a long time. If there was ever a time to get closure you probably need, now is it. What's she got to lose?" The older agent asked.

"Those are famous last words, Rossi." Natalie said, taking a drink of her coffee.

Rossi rolled his eyes.

"I'll think about it. How's Hayden?" She asked.

"We decided it wouldn't work, again." Rossi shared, he didn't seem too hurt by it, having gone through that before. Natalie went to apologize but Rossi put his hand up in protest, "It's okay. No need."

Rossi and Natalie continued catching up on both of their lives since they'd last seen each other before Natalie joined the BAU, they talked about Gideon a lot sharing how much they both missed him, and how they had both gotten to understand the team as they joined.

Natalie sat on a park bench watching Jack play with Prentiss and Hotch.

"Ugh. I just don't know. Rossi said if I needed closure to do it but you," She pointed to Hotch "think it's a bad idea."

Prentiss spoke up, "Have you talked to Reid about what she said or about visiting her, again?"

Natalie sighed, "I've mentioned another visit but not about the crush I think she has."

"You should start there." Prentiss told her.

"I agree." Hotch affirmed and went to go play with his son in the park.

"Emily, you've spent a lot of time with the unit chief lately." Natalie commented.

"I know. We're friends." She shrugged, "I like his company. I like Jack."

Natalie nodded her head, "Okay." She replied. Prentiss was very matter of fact so she didn't expect anything more than that.

"Do you regret coming back and leaving interpol?" Prentiss looked at her, a little surprised.

She shook her head,

"I loved running Interpol, don't get me wrong but this is my family and I've missed them. You're included in that now too." Prentiss nudged Natalie.

Jack waved to his two aunts, as he had started to call them recently. Hotch didn't correct and let it happen, he was happy the BAU felt like family to his son too.

Prentiss and Natalie ran up to Jack to try and catch him. The three adults chased after the young boy like crazy until he had them completely worn out.

"Thanks ladies." Hotch told them.

Natalie and Prentiss were now laughing. "Anytime." They panted.

"Time to head home, Jack." Hotch told his son.

"Aww." Jack whined but the four left to their separate homes despite Jack's protests.

"Spence?" J.J. opened her door, "come in."

"Hey Spencer." Will greeted, his kindness never failed him. J.J. smiled, she was so glad her two favorite guys besides her own boys got along so well.

"Uncle Spencer!" Henry ran up to him, Reid stretched his arms out, giving Henry a big hug.

"Uncwle Kpenker!" Michael tried, Reid laughed at his attempt and gave him an equally big hug.

Will and J.J. noted Reid's expression. "You want me to take the boys outside for a minute?" Will asked.

Reid sighed, "I don't want you to have to-"

Will held his hand up in protest, "It's okay. Really."

J.J. gave Will a quick kiss, "Thank you. You're the best." She meant it, he was an incredible husband, he seemed to understand her friendships and he was so kind to people she loved dearly, and he was the best father the boys could ever get.

Will escorted the boys to the back, "Mommy and Uncle Spencer need to have some grown up talk about work, yuck. And then you can come back in and play."

"Can Uncle Spencer play with us?" Henry asked, hopeful.

J.J. looked to Reid, pleading.

Reid nodded, "Yes, of course, Henry! We'll all play as soon as we're finished talking, okay?"

"Okay!" Henry and Michael both yelled running for the door with Will who nodded at the two agents.

J.J. patted the couch cushion for Reid to sit down, he remained standing while she sat looking him over intently, "What is it, Spence?"

Reid swallowed, he couldn't believe he was going to say these words aloud, "I've been thinking a lot about Cat Adams. Like an unhealthy amount. I feel connected to her and I don't know why."

J.J. looked at him confused and concern. He knew he needed to quickly clarify.

"No, I don't have feelings for her or anything and I know her and Natalie are twins so maybe that has something to do with it. But your expression is why I haven't told Natalie yet."

"Well, do you feel connected to Natalie?" J.J. asked.

"Yes," Reid answered, quickly.

"Is that why you feel connected to Cat?" J.J. offered.

"I think that's part of it but there's more than that. I don't want to say this but the darker part of her that killed all of those people because of her past trauma. Maybe because my dad left? I didn't want to kill people or anything but I understood and I sympathized with her at the restaurant, I didn't fake that part. It was genuine. I haven't told Natalie yet, should I?" Reid asked, sincerely hoping she would say no.

J.J. sighed, "I think you know, you should and that's why you're asking me. You want me to tell you, you don't have to, that sharing this with me is enough but it's not. When you love someone like that, you don't keep anything from them. I don't keep things from Will and he doesn't keep things from me."

Reid sighed, he sat down in frustration. He put his hands to his face, elbows on his knees, and held it there.

J.J. placed a hand on his shoulder, "Natalie might not understand at the moment but give her time to process. She will try and that's all you can ask of another person, really. She loves you, Spence. Let her."

Reid looked up to his friend, "Thanks J.J."

"Now, can you play with my kids so Will and I can have grown-up time?" She asked, teasing.

"J.J. are you kidding me?"

"Yes. Let's go." She led them out to the backyard where they all participated in whatever games the boys made up with their own rules and everything.

Reid appreciated J.J. and Will letting him feel part of their family.

A/N: Hotch and Prentiss? Let me know your thoughts - I've never really shipped them but I'll do it if people want to see it!
