Kyandi: Greetings everyone!

Roksana: She was so excited, she was up until six this morning writing.

Kyandi: I'm really looking forward to everyone's reaction to the chapter after this one.

Roksana: Yes. As if what you do to me in this chapter isn't enough, you have to add that scene.

Kyandi: For everyone's information, Roksana only knows part of what happens in the next chapter. If she knew the whole thing, she'd kill me.

Roksana: I wouldn't kill you, As one of your readers pointed out, you created me. If I killed you, I would cease to exist.

Kyandi: Smart girl.

Roksana: I don't completely lack a sense of self-preservation.

Kyandi: Perhaps not. Anyway, I can't wait much longer, so, everyone, enjoy and review.

Roksana: Kyandi-sama does not own Katekyo Hitman REBORN.

Chapter 59 Vongola Sin

The next morning, Reborn showed up at the hospital with Roksana's suit in tow. When he walked into Yamamoto's room, Roksana was straightening her pigtails. She looked up at him as Dimitri followed him in with her suit draped over one arm.

"Did you sleep?" Reborn asked.

"Some. I was up almost every half hour to check on Takeshi." Roksana replied, taking the suit from Dimitri. "Thank you. You and Maeve will stay here and keep an eye on Takeshi, right?"

"If that's what you wish for us to do, Miss Tsukiko. We'll keep him safe." Dimitri promised her.

"Good. Let me change real quick, Reborn, and we can leave." Roksana told him.

Reborn nodded, watching her walk away to the bathroom. When the door clicked closed behind her, Reborn looked up at Dimitri.

"As someone who knows her moods, how is she?" Reborn asked.

"I have only ever seen her this angry once before, and that is when someone she trusted more than anyone else, turned out to a cold-blooded bastard out to kill her. He sent a squad of five high trained, professional mercenaries after her that day." Dimitri told him.

"The end result?" Reborn asked.

"Let's just say that while those men survived...they'll never be able to take care of themselves again. Miss Tsukiko doesn't have to kill someone to completely end their lives. Whoever did this to Master Yamamoto is going to regret meeting her." Dimitri replied.

Reborn wasn't sure how that would play out for them. Her anger could play in their favor or against them. It all depended on whether or not the girl could keep her head about her.

When Roksana came out of the bathroom, she was dressed in a suit similar to the one she had worn during the Choice game in the future. She was loosening her tie around her neck as she walked out of the bathroom, two sansetsukons strapped to her left thigh.

"Ready." Roksana said.

Dimitri and Maeve assured Roksana, once more, that they would keep Yamamoto safe before she left with Reborn. They met up with Tsuna, Ryohei, Lambo, Gokudera and Chrome. As they had agreed upon the night before, Chrome supplied them with an illusion of Yamamoto. In order to try to trick the attackers into revealing themselves, they would have "Yamamoto" appear at the ceremony, as if nothing happened. The illusion was a good one and it, if it wasn't for her eyes' ability to see through illusions, Roksana might have even been fooled.

A helicopter picked them up, flying them to a castle that Timoteo had rented for the ceremony. It was there, standing on the outskirts of the courtyard, they stood and watched as several mafia members from different families, milled about.

"Wow...renting an entire castle..." Ryohei muttered in awe.

"It's big." Chrome remarked from where she was glued to Roksana's side, feeling a little nervous and uncomfortable as she hugged the trident head of her trident to her chest.

"And there's a lot of people here." Roksana added.

"Just keep your eyes peeled for someone reacting to the sight of Yamamoto more than others." Gokudera told her.

"You don't have to tell me." Roksana replied, her eyes scanning the crowd, picking out one person that had her heaving a sigh. "Not him..."

"Who?" Gokudera asked before a loud voice reached them.

"Yoohoo~! Sawada-chan!" Coming towards them, all grins and clumsy feet, was Naito Longchamp. "Been well!?"

"That's the candidate for the eighth boss of the Tomaso Family. Naito Longchamp!" Gokudera remarked as the boy came to a stop in front of them.

"I'm happy you still remember me, even though I've skipped so much school! Sawada-chan!" Longchamp said, greeting Tsuna with an overly vigorous hand shake.

"I completely forgot." Gokudera stated bluntly.

"I didn't. It's actually been somewhat quiet at school without him." Roksana retorted lowly.

"Don't be so shy! Goku-chan, Ro-Ro-chan, today's a special day!" Longchamp said, nudging Gokudera with an elbow while he draped an arm around Roksana's shoulders.

"Stop calling me that!" Gokudera snapped.

"Ro-Ro-chan? Who the hell told you that you could call me that?!" Roksana demanded, but Longchamp had already turned to Yamamoto.

"Do your best, Yamamoto-chan~!" Longchamp told him. Unsure on how to make the illusion act, Chrome merely had him laugh sheepishly, as she had seen him do before. "Got stage fright? That's not like you!"

Thankfully, Longchamp left as quickly as he came and Chrome released a relieved sigh.

"It's working, Chrome." Tsuna told her.

"Just keep it up." Roksana encouraged her, laying a hand on Chrome's shoulder.

"Yo. Passing through~!" A familiar voice had them all looking up as Dino came their way, Enzio sitting on his shoulder. "Been well, young ones?"

"Hey, Dino. Hasn't been long, has it?" Roksana asked, greeting the man who, instead of shaking her hand, hugged her. "Why do you insist on treating me like a little sister you have a sister complex over?"

"Because you're adorable!" Dino told her.

"How about I shove my sansetsukon where the sun doesn't shine? Would I be adorable then?" Roksana asked.

Dino promptly let her go and turned to Tsuna.

"Never expected that this day would come so soon! You make me proud!" Dino told Tsuna. "I received the memories of the battles in the future from Yuni. Let's have a chat later."

"Okay." Tsuna agreed.

"VOOOOOOOIIIII!"

Roksana heaved a sigh as a loud yell she had become too familiar with, sounded over the noise of nearby people talking, Turning they found Squalo leading his fellow Varia members.

"Huh...you guys clean up pretty well." Roksana remarked, looking at the sharp suits the men were wearing. "No surprise with Lussuria, though."

"Oh, you're too sweet! And rocking that outfit. It suits you perfectly." Lussuria told her.

"Better than some boring, stuffy suit." Roksana replied.

"Squalo, you really don't change...where's Xanxus?" Dino asked.

"Our boss is absent! Like hell he would come!" Squalo replied.

"Of course." Roksana retorted.

"Vooii! You haven't been skipping training have you!?" Squalo asked, turning to Yamamoto.

"Haha! Of course not!" the illusion replied.

Roksana knew instantly, by the looks on Dino and Squalo's faces, that they figured out that it wasn't the real Yamamoto. They instantly grabbed Tsuna, dragging him away to demand to know what was going on. Roksana heaved a sigh.

"Maybe my power is too weak." Chrome remarked lowly to Roksana.

"You're doing well." Mammon said as he landed on Roksana's shoulder. "They'd have to be real experts to see through an illusion of that level. Have some confidence."

"Mammon is right, Chrome. They only saw through it because they know Takeshi so well." Roksana assured her as Mammon flew off, Bel grabbing on to the infant's leg to pull. "Don't worry. Just stay calm."

Chrome nodded. The noise of a fight breaking out, had them all looking up to where a few men were picking on Enma and the other members of the Simon Family.

"Enma-kun!" Tsuna exclaimed, concerned.

Tsuna turned to Roksana, almost begging her to do something about the men. Roksana really didn't want to, but she did as asked. Stepping in between the men and Enma and his group, Roksana crossed her arms over her chest, making sure they caught sight of the Vongola ring on her left hand.

"Shit! That's the Vongola Moon Guardian!" one man hissed lowly before the men bowed their heads to her and beat a hasty retreat.

Roksana looked down at her hand, humming to herself. If that was all it took to send mafia badasses running, then she would never take the ring off again. Once the men were gone, Tsuna checked on Enma, Roksana watching like a hawk from behind him.

"Are you okay?" Tsuna asked Enma.

"Yeah." Enma assured him.

"Why would they do such a horrible thing?" Tsuna asked.

"They really don't know their place!" Gokudera added.

Roksana didn't say anything to that. She was too busy watching the look Kaoru shot in Yamamoto's direction, his fellow family members sneaking looks between them that didn't escape Roksana's notice.

"Are Yamamoto Takeshi's wounds healed?" Adelheid asked.

"Ah, yeah! We had Roksana step in with her Moon flames which have the ability to create new tissue, blood vessels and everything else that needed to be replace, and had a doctor examine him again, and he wasn't as bad as we thought. Roksana's flames can fix a lot and bring a person back from the brink of death. The doctor said as long as he doesn't move around too much, he'll be fine." Tsuna told them.

It wasn't a complete lie.

Roksana's flames had to potential to do exactly what Tsuna said, but, at that point in time, they weren't strong enough to do for Yamamoto all that needed to be done. All she had managed to do, after she had calmed down and the doctors had worked their magic, was repair some of the more minor damage done to the boy.

It was then that Roksana's eyes landed on the last member of Enma's family, the Katou Julie she hadn't met yet. The man, when her eyes landed on him, was staring at her, a twisted little grin on his face that had her metaphorical hackles raising in response. Something about the man instantly put her on edge. She wasn't sure what it was, but something in the man's eyes had her instincts screaming at her to be on high alert.

"We must excuse ourselves." Adelheid said then. "Come, Enma."

Roksana's eyes followed Julie as he walked away, giving her a wink that had her wanting to hiss at him like a cat. It was only when they were gone that she was able to relax a little.

"It's almost time...and he's not here after all. You sure you got him to come, Roksana?" Ryohei asked.

Roksana didn't need to ask to know who he was talking about. It was the only guardian that didn't have an excuse for not being there.

"He'll be here." Roksana assured him.

Almost as if being summoned by their thoughts, Hibari showed up then, looking sharp in a suit.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Roksana said.

"It's rare for you to come on your own." Reborn remarked.

"A student was attacked on our school grounds. I will bite the culprit to death." Hibari replied.

"As long as it's the culprit and not me. The last bite mark just healed." Roksana remarked as she walked up to Hibari. "Hold still for a moment. Your tie is crooked."

"I don't need your help." Hibari told her.

"He says even as he lifts his chin for me to fix it." Roksana retorted, making Hibari frown when he realized he had, in fact, lifted his chin for her to correct the tie. "I will admit this, though...you look incredibly sharp in a suit. Dare I say it, handsome even...maybe. I fully expected you to show up in your school uniform."

While Roksana was fixated on his tie, trying to adjust it and, therefore, couldn't see his face, the others could have sworn that, for just a moment, a look of pride crossed Hibari's face as Roksana called him handsome. But as soon as it appeared, it was gone.

"Now the Vongola Guardians are all here! He's a man we can count on!" Ryohei cheered as Roksana deemed Hibari's tie good.

"Okay, we're going in." Reborn told them.

As the others moved to enter, Roksana stopped Hibari, laying a hand on his chest to make him look down at her.

"Look, I know you hate crowds, but do me a favor. When we go in there...stick close. I have a bad feeling things are going to go side-ways pretty quickly. For all the crap you put me through...I'd feel safer with you at my back." Roksana told him.

With the serious way she was looking up at him, Hibari couldn't deny that her words were true. He gave her a nod. Satisfied, Roksana gave his chest a pat before turning to follow her friends inside. Inside, everyone was gathered in a grand ballroom, a carpet rolled out right down the middle left clear for Tsuna and his guardians.

Tsuna entered first, Roksana and Gokudera right behind him, the others bringing up the rear. Roksana's eyes went to work, scanning the crowd, keeping her eyes peeled as they headed for the head of the room where Timoteo and his guardians waited. Roksana wasn't the only one looking. All of her friends had their eyes peeled. While Roksana's eyes quickly locked in on Enma and his family, she knew she couldn't rule out the possibility of being wrong. When they reached the head of the room, Roksana, to steady the urge to act, pulled out one of her lollipops, ripping off the wrapping paper to pop it into her mouth.

"Now, we shall commence the passing of the bottle, which is proof of the Vongola boss since Primo's generation. It will be handed on to Vongola Decimo, from Vongola Nuno."

Roksana didn't see who announced that, and she wasn't really paying attention. As a man came forth, carrying the box containing Vongola's "Sin" on a silk pillow, Roksana was looking for those who were more fixated on the box than the ceremony.

"Now, the Inheritance."

Timoteo took the box in his hands, opening it to reveal the bottle contained inside. Roksana was growing apprehensive as the seconds ticked by. She knew they were going to attack, but from where and when, she didn't know.

"I pass this on to you, Decimo." Timoteo said, presenting the bottle to Tsuna.

As Timoteo held the box out for Tsuna to take the bottle, Roksana stiffened, her eyes picking up on something that had her entire body going ridged. Her friends quickly picked up on this, Tsuna turning away from the box to look at Roksana.

"Roksana?" he asked.

Roksana's eyes shifted for a moment before they widened and she quickly clamped her hands over her ears.

"Cover your ears!" she yelled, plugging her ears the best she could.

It was the only thing that saved her sensitive ears before the loud screeching sound filled the room, everyone scrambling to cover their ears to no prevail. With everyone but the one person who had advanced warning, distracted by the piercing noise deafening them, explosions rocked the building. Timoteo's guardians quickly closed ranks around Timoteo and Tsuna, Roksana crouching in place as smoke bombs were thrown in the room.

Down low, beneath the cloud of smoke, Roksana could see the moving feet of all of those around her. With everyone else deafened and blind, Timoteo's guardian ignited their flames to form a protective barrier and Dino ordered his men to protect the guests. Roksana, though, was looking for the attack she knew was coming. She didn't see what happened, hadn't seen any feet approach Timoteo, but when the smoke cleared, the man was on his knees, left arm injured and the "Sin" shattered on the ground.

"Ninth! Are you alright, Ninth?!" Tsuna asked as he and Coyote crouched next to the man.

"It's only a scrape." Timoteo assured them. "Seal off all the exits! Don't let anyone escape!"

"We've sealed the exists. We'll start analyzing camera footage now." Nie told him.

"It shouldn't take us more than five minutes to find the culprit. Everything is as planned." Brabanter added.

"Everything is...as planned?" Tsuna asked, confused.

"It looks like the culprit's motive was to destroy the "Sin"." Reborn told him.

"It seems that way." Timoteo agreed.

"I don't know about that."

Timoteo and Reborn turned their eyes to Roksana, who was still scanning the room, her expression one of unease. She didn't say anything else, but it was obvious to them that the girl's instincts were telling her that there was still a nearby threat.

"The Vongola heirloom..." Tsuna said, pulling their attention away from Roksana.

"Do not worry about it, Tsunayoshi-kun." Timoteo told him.

"It was a fake." Roksana told Tsuna. "Knowing that there was an enemy out to get it...I wouldn't have brought out the real deal either."

"She's right. It was a replica of the "Sin" made to lure the culprit out." Timoteo confirmed.

"A fake?!" Tsuna exclaimed.

"The real "Sin" is safely stored in the vault in the next room. The flames that shield it is made of our seven properties and cannot be destroyed by any weapon or Dying Will flame." Timoteo told Tsuna.

"To have planned this far...you are incredible, Ninth!" Gokudera exclaimed.

"We will catch the culprit. No matter what it takes. I will take responsibility for what was done to Yamamoto-kun." Timoteo told Tsuna.

"This is truly impressive, Ninth, but I really feel like you should check on the vault, just in case. My instincts are throwing up red flags." Roksana said, still looking around the room like she was searching for something.

"I'll check." Ganauche said, heading for the door. Following him with her eyes, Roksana had a feeling she already knew the answer, even before Ganauche opened the door to the room where the vault was. "B-bad news! The vault has been broken into!"

Roksana really hated being right sometimes.

"That's impossible! What happened to the Shield of Seven Flames!?" Timoteo asked.

"It looks like they got through!" Ganauche said, standing in the doorway.

Smoke was spilling out of the room, obscuring some of the view of the room beyond, but through the smoke, Roksana could see movement. Ganauche picked up on it too, pulling a gun. A gun that then, literally, came apart in his hand. Roksana jolted when she picked up more movement in the smoke.

"Ganauche, look out!" she called in warning.

Ganauche raised his hand, Lightning flames jumping forth to create a barrier as razor sharp spears of ice came flying at him. Croquant tackled him to the ground when those spears managed to make it through his barrier. It was then that the smoke cleared enough to show who was in the room with the vault. Roksana grit her teeth as, once again, she was proven right.

There, standing before them, was the Simon family.

Roksana steeled herself, refusing to let her body move when all she wanted to do was to attack the people who had betrayed her friends. She had to keep her head about her, couldn't let her anger color her choices.

Not even when the look of betrayal on Tsuna's face nearly slayed her heart.

"We're taking back the "Sin". This blood belongs to the Simon Family." Enma said, holding up the real "Sin" in his hand.

"What are you talking about?" Tsuna asked.

"As you now know, we came to this ceremony in order to take back the "Sin"." Adelheid told them.

"Your aim was...the "Sin"?!" Gokudera demanded.

"That means..." Ryohei trailed off.

"It couldn't be...the ones who attacked Yamamoto..." Tsuna started, unable to finish that sentence.

"Yes, that would be us." Enma confirmed. "We needed this in order to regain our power and take our revenge on Vongola!"

Roksana's eyes widened as Enma opened the bottle and poured a little of the blood inside on a ring he had on his hand. Before their eyes, the ring transformed into a gauntlet as a y-shaped flame appeared on Enma's forehead. While Tsuna grew angry at the realization of the depths of Enma's betrayal, Roksana couldn't focus past the flame.

"That flame..." Roksana said, making all eyes turn to her shocked expression. The girl was staring down at the heirloom ring on her right hand. "That's the same flame that appeared around my mother's ring the first time I met Enma."

Enma merely met Roksana's eyes and didn't say a word. Which didn't do much for Roksana's anger. Tsuna decided they could worry about Roksana popping up with a new flame, later.

"You're the ones...who hurt Yamamoto?!" Tsuna demanded, his Dying Will flame now burning on his forehead.

"Yeah. That's right, Tsunayoshi-kun." Enma confirmed.

"Why?! Why would you do such a thing?!" Tsuna demanded.

"He was a Guardian of Vongola. It was a rightful atonement." Enma replied.

"What?!"

Tsuna couldn't believe his ears.

"Originally, our plans were to let you all live until the ceremony. We didn't want to give ourselves away as the enemy until we obtained the "Sin". However, now that you know our identities, we must eliminate you all. Just as we did with the Giegue Family." Adelheid said. "Yamamoto Takeshi saw the plans Mizuno Kaoru had, and the Simon ring."

"Simon ring?" Timoteo asked.

"I've never heard of such a thing." Reborn added.

"Of course you haven't. The Simon Ring is a great treasure of the Simon Family that has been asleep in the depths of the earth. No one knew of it until it surfaced after the earthquake not too long ago." Adelheid told them. "Orders to protect the grave of the first boss of the Simon Family, Simon Cozart, have been passed down from generation to generation. The earthquake uncovered treasures from Simon Cozart's grave. Seven Simon rings!"

"And the one key to awakening the rings was the blood of the first Simon boss, called "Sin"." Enma added.

"So you're saying that Vongola's heirloom...is the blood of the first Simon boss?" Gokudera asked.

"Ninth, is this true?" Reborn asked.

"No. I've never heard of such a thing. When I received the "Sin" from the previous Vongola boss, Octavo, I was only told, "This is war blood that must never be forgotten."." Timoteo replied.

"How foolish of you, Nuno. That just goes to show how rotten Vongola is. Inside and out." Adelheid retorted.

"What?!"

"Don't you wonder why no one in the Vongola family knows what is inside of the "Sin" anymore? The answer is, your ancestors tried to hide the truth. In order to throw all evidence of their errors into the darkness!" Adelheid went on. "So I shall tell you the truth. During the first generation of the Vongola Family, the Simon Family fought alongside them like brothers. Even amongst the Vongola family, they were close in standings. When Vongola made an attempt to conquer all the lands of Europe, they planned to overthrow the strongest family during those times. And in order to achieve that, they cast the Simon family as bait, Vongola Primo using his sister, Stella's growing friendship with Simon Cozart to convince the first boss of Simon to agreed to it. He brought along merely fifty family members to a battlefield of twenty-thousand enemies."

Roksana wasn't liking the image Adelheid was painting for them. Even just from what she had told them so far, it sounded like Primo had been setting the Simon Family up.

"Simon lured the enemy out as ordered, and waited for their rescue...but no matter how long they waited, it never came. It wasn't long before Simon was surrounded by the enemy on all sides and by the end of a hideous battle that lasted an entire night, the first boss was torn from limb to limb, and most of the family had met a merciless end!" Adelheid told them.

"The first boss of Simon was betrayed by Vongola Primo, by his so-called close friend, Stella, and was left to die. The Vongola Family destroyed all evidence of this battle in order to hide the truth. And as if that weren't enough, they put the blame of defeat on the remaining Simon Family, saying that they lost because of Simon's arbitrary acts." Enma added.

"After that, the Simon Family saw nothing but hell! They were looked down upon by the entire Mafia world, and lost every connection they had. Treated as eternal criminals, they were forced to walk a path that would never see the light of day! To add further insult to injury, Vongola Primo even stole a precious, treasured keep sake of Simon's first boss to give to his sister. A rare ring with was red diamond and green sapphire that held a mysterious power. The proof of this is there on your Moon Guardian's finger!" Adelheid said, pointing an accusing finger at Roksana.

As all eyes turned to Roksana, she plastered a hand over the heirloom ring on her right hand.

"I already told you, my family had no connections to the Vongola before me. What you're saying can't be possible." Roksana insisted.

She would leave out what she found on her mother's family registry for the time being.

"Then how would you have come into possession of that ring? The Moon flame runs in a single family, passed from mother to daughter. You have to be related to Stella and that ring is the proof of her betrayal." Adelheid told her.

Roksana didn't know how to argue that.

"W-wait, I have never heard of that story! I knew that the Simon Family was close to us, but it's been said that they disappeared overseas of their own accord!" Timoteo said, shocked by the whole thing.

"Thought you'd say that. Never heard of it! Don't know what you're talking about." Julie mocked.

"How about you, Tsuna-kun? Roksana-chan?" Enma asked. "Within your bodies runs the blood of Vongola who betrayed us."

"I don't deny that the blood of Vongola runs within me, regardless of whether the same is true of Roksana." Tsuna replied. "Neither do I have the ability to find out what really happened between Vongola and Simon. I can't prove that it didn't happen. But there is one thing I can swear on my grave. Vongola Primo is a man who would never do such a thing!"

"Are you mocking us?! You speak as if you've met him before!" Kouyou snapped.

"We have no intentions of lending an ear to your nonsense. The ones who have the right to speak are us." Adelheid added. "The Simon Family will make a declaration here."

"Kozato Enma will inherit the title of Tenth Simon Boss and take his revenge on Vongola. I will gather mafia from all over the world and stand above them as leader. This war will be a war to regain the pride of Simon." Enma declared.

"It is time to have a glimpse of our real power." Adelheid said, taking "Sin" to pour some of the blood on her ring before passing it on to the others.

The power that came forth from the awakened ring so so powerful that Gokudera had to call forth his Sistema C.A.I to form a shield around them.

"Haha, the Vongola flames are weak. Do you know why Vongola Primo eliminated us, Simon, from the world? It is because our ancestors had a power that could rival Vongola's, and it scared him. A power neck and neck with the eight flames of the sky. The seven flames of the earth!"

As the smoke cleared, they were confronted with the weapons the Simon rings had transformed into.

"Because of this power, Simon is brother to the Vongola Family. And because of this power, we were betrayed by Vongola. This flame exists to regain Simon's pride." Enma told them.

"You're wrong." Tsuna insisted. "We understand your painful past and the reason of your anger. But hurting people won't help you regain your pride!"

Enma only spared him a moment of staring at Tsuna before turning to Adelheid.

"Stand back, Adelheid. I'll be fine alone. I can take down Tsuna-kun and his guardians." Enma told her.

Roksana and her friends braced themselves for the unavoidable fight they would be forced to fight. They weren't, however, prepared for the kind of power that Enma possessed. With a mere flick of his fingers, he sent Gokudera and Ryohei flying in opposite directions, the boys hitting the walls with enough force to cause craters. Another flick of his fingers and Enma had Chrome and Hibari flying straight up to hit the ceiling above them with the same amount of force. With the shock of the sudden attack, Chrome lost her grip on her Yamamoto illusion, the illusion fading away like mist.

"Yamamoto Takeshi was an illusion, as we thought. Did you really think we wouldn't see through it?" Adelheid demanded.

"Tsuna-kun, I almost believe in you." Enma said.

"What are you trying to do?!" Tsuna demanded as Enma gave another flick of his fingers.

Roksana watched in wide eyed horror as her friends were pulled from their craters and sent rocketing towards each other until they crashed head first into each other. A part of Roksana might have made a joke about feeling sorry for Chrome, Gokudera and Ryohei because of how incredibly thick and hard Hibari's head was, but given the situation, she couldn't muster the will to make the joke, even to herself.

"Do you know why I haven't attacked either of you yet? I want you to taste the pain the first boss of Simon was dealt by Primo and Stella." Enma told them.

Roksana's friends, though, weren't going to stay down from something like that. They all forced themselves back up, still rearing to go. Enma flattened them to the ground and drove them into the floor with so much force, it shattered their Vongola rings.

Seeing her friends crushed into the ground under the force of Enma's power had flashbacks of Yamamoto laying in a pool of his own blood, flashing into Roksana's head. It had her freezing on the spot while Tsuna attacked Enma, the other boy stopping him easily. As they collided, their rings reacted to each other, lighting up the room.

"When we first met, I forgot to seal the ring. I was surprised too." Enma told Tsuna.

"Why, Enma?! Why would someone like you do this?!" Tsuna demanded.

"It's your own fault." Enma retorted. "I watched you. Until I met you, I thought that Vongola the Tenth was someone scary and hateful, but he turned out to be someone unexpected and a bit like me. So I thought you would be different from the past Vongola bosses...that we just might be able to understand one another. But you...!"

Enma flung Tsuna up into the ceiling, pinning him there.

"How weak, Vongola. And this power is still incomplete." Adelheid said.

"Incomplete?!" Reborn repeated.

"The Simon ring and the blood of Simon's first boss merge together in seven days. In other words, his power right now is only a seventh of what it will truly become at completion." Adelheid explained.

"This is only...a seventh?!" Tsuna gasped.

"What's wrong? This is your only chance to defeat me. In a week, you won't even be able to lay a finger on me." Enma told him.

When Tsuna tried to fight back, Enma increased the pressure on him, further driving him into the ceiling. Dino and the members of Varia tried to jump in, but Adelheid stopped them with spikes of ice threatening to pierce them through should they move an inch.

"Let's leave, Adelheid. It looks much too easy to kill them. If we killed them instantaneously, they won't taste the pain Simon has gone through." Enma told her.

"You're right. We can kill them anytime. What we need to show them, is a living hell." Adelheid agreed as Julie decided to take Chrome with him.

"Chrome!" Tsuna called.

"Tsuna-kun, you'd better worry about yourself." Enma told him, increasing the pressure in one last shove, shattering Tsuna's Vongola ring and rendering him unconscious as he dropped to the floor below.

Looking down at her friends, beaten and sprawled before her, more flashbacks of Yamamoto playing in her head, Roksana couldn't keep her cool anymore.

In that moment, Roksana snapped.

"Roksana, don't!" Dino yelled.

Enma only had a sudden, intense flare of silver flames as warning before Roksana was rocketing towards him, her expression livid. Enma raised a hand, forming a barrier around him to stop her, but he had underestimated the power behind Roksana's fury fueled flames. The force that hit his shield was easily twice what he had expected to come from her, the force of it the hit causing his feet to slide back a few feet.

Roksana bounced back from his shield, heels sliding across the floor before she skidded to a halt. Straightening her back to fix her eyes on Enma, the boy was surprised to find the green in her eyes standing out even more vividly, her flames growing as her anger mounted. When she spoke, her voice dripped with icy venom so toxic, Enma almost wondered if it could actually poison him.

"How dare you treat my family so shamefully!"

"Are you really going to try this after seeing what happened to the others? Are you trying to die?" Enma asked.

"Do I look like someone who gives two fucks?" Roksana retorted sharply.

Looking into her eyes, Enma would have to say...no, she didn't.

Her next move was just as sudden at the first, the girl rocketing forward, dead set on hurting Enma like he had hurt her friends. Enma raised a hand, intending to send her flying back into a wall, crushing her Vongola ring in the process, but Roksana wasn't having it. Pulling her left hand back and towards her chest, she covered it protectively with her hand. As Enma's power hit her, the most unexpected thing happened.

Instead of flying back...Roksana didn't budge.

Enma's shock grew as, in response to his power, flames just like his own, blazed to life from the ring on her right hand, the red diamond and green sapphire twinkling in the light of the flames. This flame lent to her the same power his flames gave him, the two similar forces colliding and keeping Roksana from being pushed back.

Judging from the shock on Roksana's face, she had no idea how she was doing it, or what was going on. All she knew was she had to keep it up unless she wanted to find out what it felt like to be a pancake. Enma increased the pressure, trying to power through, but Roksana buckled down, supplying the strange flame with all the power she could. The force of the two colliding powers, dug ditches into the floor on either side of them, both trying to over power the other.

For a moment, it looked like Roksana might be able to win as she took first one, than another step froward, forcing Enma back a step for each one she took. But Enma had more practice with the flame and it's powers.

Putting all that he had behind one last shove, Roksana felt her feet slide out from under her and knew she had messed up even before her back hit the wall, the force driving her clear through it.

Roksana only felt the shattering of her Vongola ring before everything went dark.

END

Kyandi: My back and head feel for you.

Roksana: It certainly wasn't a fun trip.

Kyandi: I didn't think it would be...On to the next chapter!

Roksana: You just love to torment me, don't you.

Kyandi: Only when it's for the best for you.

Roksana: I'm doubtful.

Kyandi: Oh, well. Everyone, enjoy and review!

Roksana: We'll, unfortunately, be back tomorrow.

Kyandi: Bye-bye!
