Lisa Learns The Truth
"I'm sorry I came here with Veronica, Lisa," Rafael apologized. "it was very wrong of me."
"It was wrong of Veronica to talk you into such a thing," Lisa said to Rafael. "but never the less, I accept your apology."
"I am just glad that we won't be putting up with Veronica for a few months." Carole said to Lisa and Liam.
"Someone will need to take care of Garnet while I'm away." Veronica commented.
Carole raised her hand, "I'll do it!" she volunteered.
"Thank you, Carole," Veronica said. "I'll even pay you twenty dollars an hour for taking care of Garnet."
Liam didn't like where this was heading, so he pulled Carole aside.
"Carole," Liam reminded. "what about Starlight?"
"Since you don't have your own horse, you can ride Starlight if you want," Carole told Liam. "besides, it is twenty bucks an hour, and I could use the money to buy my dad a birthday present, don't you trust me?"
"I trust you, Carole," Liam replied. "it's Veronica that I don't trust."
Max returned Lisa's JB's gift card to her.
"Keep that in your wallet until you are ready to use it, Lisa." Max said firmly.
Lisa dug her wallet out of her backpack and put the card inside it.
"I promise." Lisa said to Max.
Back in Pine Hollow's lounge, Stevie was packing a snack for her ride on Belle in the kitchen.
When Phil entered the lounge's kitchen.
