Mal'dar
Mal'dar and Rimi watched as Khura crawled on the floor of Abam. There was a pounding on the door and Mal'dar got up to answer it, after putting his horned helmet on. He opened the door and a Mandalorian Super Commando stood in the doorway, "Prime Minister Almec wants to see both of you," he said.
Mal'dar and Rim glanced at each other. Mal'dar turned back to the Super Commando, "What for?"
The Super Commando shrugged, "Don't know, but get over there soon". He turned and flew away.
"I'll call Sarna to watch Khura, you go ahead," said Rimi.
Mal'dar nodded and walked over to the equipment cabinet. He opened it and examined the weapons. He holstered a pistol, then he slid the sword in its sheath, which was secured by two belts to stop it from moving when he ran or flew. The weight of the blade felt He attached his jetpack before nodding in satisfaction. He looked at Rimi and Khura before rocketing towards the palace.
Mal'dar walked along the path towards the throne. Almec stood in front of a life-sized projection of someone. "My lord he is here," said Almec. The projection turned around and Maul looked at Mal'dar, "Leave us Almec, we have much to discuss".
"Yes my lord," said Almec bowing to Maul before leaving the throne room.
Maul put his hands behind his back and began to speak, "I am surprised that you were not among the group to rescue me".
Mal'dar didn't react instead keeping his eyes on Maul, "Almec didn't send me".
"I am aware, but that is not why I called you here. I have a mission for you," said Maul.
"Which is?" asked Mal'dar impassively.
"You are to watch Almec and make sure he does not betray me," said Maul.
Mal'dar sighed, seemed easy enough. "Is that all my lord?" asked Mal'dar.
"For you yes," said Mau, "We sustained heavy casualties on Zanbar due to Grievous and his droids. We are gathering on Ord Mantell to lure them into a trap, Almec is sending us reinforcements".
"Would you like me to join them?" asked Mal'dar.
"If I had I would not have told you to watch Almec. However, your wife shall," said Maul his eyes widening as he spoke.
Mal'dar's calm demeanor snapped and he walked up to the hologram of Maul, "Leave my wife alone!"
"Your wife is a member of my super commandos, she is a soldier and I will not treat her differently," snarled Maul.
Mal'dar glared at Maul through his helmet, "Why single her out?!"
Maul looked at Mal'dar calmly, "Most things are left up to chance, such as you listening to me. But if you can guarantee a result then you do so, so if you break your word then your wife shall pay the price".
"He won't," said a voice which echoed through the throne room.
Mal'dar turned and saw Rimi walking towards them.
"He never breaks his word," said Rimi.
"Hope that is true for your sake," said Maul, and the transmission cut out.
