Heads up! This chapters is gonna have a lot of time-skips to show the growth of Luna and later on Jack in Crematoria.
Recap: Its ears flattened and its scales rattled as it growled louder the closer it got.
The hellhound spared her a glance as he came near before he jumped towards the man, tackling him to the ground without warning. Luna winced when the agonizing screams of the man filled the air along with the growls and snarls of the hound.
Standing up, she walked away, knowing there was nothing she could do, continuing looking for Jack. She ran down the bridge, passing another hound who looked up from the body he just killed but promptly continued eating when he saw it was her.
She turned around a corner where several men had locked themselves within a prison. They watched her walk by with gaping mouths. Luna frowned when she turned down another passage and found it empty. "Where is she?" she mumbled and looked further.
She had just come to the second floor when she came face to face with two guards. Both started grinning as they eyed her up and down.
She wore a dark blue wife-beater that had the bottom ripped off, showing a bit of her stomach.
Her black baggy pants were ripped on the knees and were only three-quarter. This all was combined with her pair of worn-out brown boots and gave her a bit of a pirate look.
The two men glanced at one another before they advanced on her. She slowly backed away from them. Remembering where she just came from, she knew there was a crevice a few feet back but knew she couldn't make it with them here.
The guy on the left was a skinny male with short brown hair and the other was a man with a dread hawk. His head was shaved bald on the sides but the hair on top of his skull was pulled into dreads and then gathered in a ponytail.
She kept her body relaxed and her arms at her sides. She was about to turn and run but one of them held up a gun. "Bastard." she muttered under her breath as she lifted her hands in the air and turned around and stepped towards the nearest wall.
The two men glanced at one another and chuckled as they came closer. The man with the gun, which was the skinny male, kept a certain distance as his friend came up to her and started to 'search' her. His hands glided over her arms and down her back before shifting to the front to her breasts where they lingered too long for her taste. His hands then groped her ass as he pressed himself against her from behind.
Grossed out by this whole ordeal, she suddenly twisted and brought her elbow around. A sickening crunch was heard and the man let out a howl of pain as he stepped back, clutching his nose.
Luna didn't wait as she ducked down just when the other guard let his bullets fly. She quickly ran down the corridor as fast as she could. "Get her!" cried one of the men.
"Damnit!" she cursed under her breath and turned around a corner. She ran down a small path and turned another corner. Right when she turned, she bumped into someone and they both fell to the ground.
Cursing, she stood up and looked down. It was another guard. The man managed to hold her and they wrestled on the ground before she felt the cold steel of a gun barrel against the back of her head.
"Don't move, bitch, or I'll blow your head off." came the warning voice of a guard.
She clenched her hands into fists and slowly stood up with her hands raised. The guard under her also stood up and picked his gun up.
Suddenly someone kicked her in the back of her legs, making her fall. "Stupid bitch! You fuckin' broke my nose!" snarled another guard in a nasal voice as he held his bleeding nose.
The others smirked.
"Guess we'll have to teach her not to mess with us." sneered a brown-haired guard as he held his gun in her face.
The others smiled at his words. "Yeah, how 'bout we put her in a cage with the mutts? After a night of their presence she'll turn around nicely." jeered the guard with the broken nose. The others chuckled and grabbed her arms.
Luna knew what they were talking about and started struggling against their grip. She had been thrown there once before and that was when she had managed to stab one of her daggers in a guard's balls after the man tried to rape her. Although the hellhounds didn't attack her, that didn't mean they were friendly with her.
And a whole night staying in a cage with the hellhounds howling their heads off? That was unbearable. At first it may seem reasonable, but after a few hours their growling, snarling and howling gets to you.
The guards ignored her struggling and dragged her away. Luna looked around for something to help her but found nothing. They dragged her all the way to the first floor and through a door with bars.
She kicked her feet and tried to grab the side of the door but the guards made sure that her hands couldn't get there. "Let me go!" she cried as she was dragged in a room full of snarling and growling hellhounds.
"Sure, whatever you say, sweatheart!" sneered the guard with the broken nose and together with his friend tossed her in an empty cage after another guard opened it. She landed in a heap against the opposite wall of the cage and immediately scrambled for the exit. Unfortunately the guards were faster and closed the door in her face and locked it.
The guard with the broken nose leaned in front of the door and sneered at her. "That'll teach you not to mess with me!" he growled as he straightened up and kicked the door of the cage "Cunt!" he spat and left the room with the other guards.
She grabbed the bars of the door and shook them but it was no use. Sighing deeply, she sat back "Great going, Luna. Now how are you gonna find Jack?" she mumbled to herself and clawed a hand through her hair.
The cage was just like in the movies. It was black, not big but also not small with square-like bars. And it was clammy in there. The hounds growled softly as some of them quieted down.
Luna gritted her teeth and shifted to the door and stuck her hands through the squares and fumbled with the lock.
After a few seconds of fumbling she let the lock go and shifted back to the other end of the cage. "Great, locked up like an animal. My life can't get any better." she muttered annoyed to herself and sighed as she tried to ignore the howling of one of the hounds.
A week passed after they had put her in there. She was happy it was only one night. The howls of those hounds were deafening and had been driving her up the wall. The morning they let her out she was almost ready to kiss them but refrained. She knew if she did that they would only see it as a provocation to have a good fuck with her. At the moment she was fighting some guy that thought it was a good idea on attacking Jack and try and rape her.
Luna ducked a blow from her opponent and threw a punch to the man's stomach. The man stumbled back as he held his hands over his stomach. All of a sudden he let out a choking scream when a make-shift knife cut his neck open from ear to ear. Luna grimaced and looked away as the man's blood splattered his clothes and hers.
She watched with guilt as he fell to the ground, lifeless. Her eyes drifted to the culprit. There stood Jack with a small bundle of hair covering her scalp that came to right below her ears.
She wiped some of the blood that had hit her face and pulled a face. 'Disgusting! I'm taking a shower later on when the hounds are out. At least they make for good bodyguards when I wanna take a shower. No man in sight.' she mused silently. The only ones she had to look out for were the guards. They had a tendency to also try and rape them with the excuse that they were searching them which would then switch into groping and eventually a would-be rape if it wasn't for the fact that Luna and Jack were always watching eachother's back. It made her sometimes wish she was a guy instead of a girl.
She watched the teen in front of her gaze at the dead body at her feet. A cold look in her eyes as she panted. Her gaze flickered to Luna who nodded at her.
"Thanks." she murmured and then squatted down next to the new-made corpse and checked the man's body for anything useful. As she patted his pockets, ignoring her bloody clothes that clung to her chest, her eyes drifted to the man's shoes. "Need new shoes?" she asked and glanced up.
Jack shrugged, "Sure, these are getting old." she answered shortly and watched Luna take the man's shoes off and threw them at Jack's feet.
"Better wash them though, I can smell them all the way from here." suggested Luna with a grimace before she pulled out a scissor-like item out of the man's pocket.
"Could be useful." she mumbled and put it in her own pocket before standing up. "Come on, we need to leave. It's about feeding time." said Luna, while motioning with her head over her shoulder.
Jack nodded and the two girls quickly ran down the hall and out on the bridge. They ran until they came to the bridge on the second floor and climbed onto the ledge a few feet above their head. Luna helped Jack up first since she was smaller and then stood on the railing and jumped towards the ledge. Catching herself on the edge, she crawled through after waiting for Jack to disappear down the hole.
They came out to a large room where clothes, items and food laid spread neatly around. Light came from three paraffin lamps that were spread out over the room. The duo sat each down on a stack of clothes that worked as make-shift chairs. Jack grabbed a piece of old bread from a small box filled with food they managed to scavenge from others.
As Jack was eating, Luna watched her with a sad look in her eyes. 'It's been seven months since her arrival and yet she has already adapted as if she always lived here.' she thought and shook her head with a weary sigh. It was a sad thing if a kid her age could adapt so swiftly to the life in slam. It gave a hint to how bad her life had been. Her cat-yellow eyes drifted shut as she thought back to what Jack had told her about herself in those years she left.
After Luna had been freed from her cage, she went looking for Jack and once found, she confronted her for her actions.
Luna walked with a purpose as she ignored the men around her. Those that dared to touch her got a punch in the face. She had no time for them. She needed to find Jack and nobody was going to stop her.
After a while of searching she found the teen sitting in a room alone. "Jack!" she called making the teen flinch in surprise and look up. When she came closer, Jack shifted a bit in her place, tensing and ready to move when necessary.
Luna noticed this and frowned in concern. "Hey Luna." came the depressed reply.
"I've been looking everywhere for you, why didn't you stay when Guv broke your cuffs?" she questioned annoyed. Jack looked away.
"There was no reason to." she mumbled causing Luna's frown to deepen.
"Oh, so I'm no reason to wait for, huh?" she asked jokingly as she nudged the teen in the arm. Jack glanced up at her and a ghost of a smile appeared on her face before it vanished again. Luna sighed and shook her head, irritated by the lack of answer. "Alright Jack, spit it out; what the hell has you so in a bunch? Last time I saw you, you were more happy and energetic and now you're acting like… like… a zombie or something! What happened?" she asked concerned as she sat down next to the teen.
Jack's lip trembled as her eyes shone with unshed tears. "After you didn't return I knew you had been caught by those mercs. I told Imam what happened and he was upset about it but we couldn't do much about it except accept it. A month later we got word that you were in Crematoria and I wanted to free you but I knew I couldn't do that by myself.
"So I started training for two years straight before I went and hooked up with mercs hoping that I would find a lead to Riddick and Blade. Then I could get them to help me free you." She took a shuddering breath and Luna felt dread creep up on her. Fearing what she was about to say she clenched her jaw, silently hoping she was wrong.
"The mercs promised to teach me the trade and give me a good cut." She laughed a bitter, hollow laugh and Luna felt her dread rise. "They fucked me over, they slaved me out after they all had their fucking way with me." continued Jack and tears started rolling down her cheeks. Luna closed her eyes, her fear had just been confirmed.
'So I couldn't prevent it. Instead, it's thanks to my leaving that she's slaved out. How fucked up is that?' she thought bitterly to herself and felt anger bubble up but ignored it in favor of listening further.
"I was sold off to the Rykengolls where I was enslaved and brutalized again. I stayed there for nine months before I managed to escape by poisoning one of them and then killed off three more on the way." she choked on a sob before continuing. "I was on the run for three months before I got caught by mercs and…" she sniffled as she clenched her hands into fists, "I snapped. I killed three mercs before they managed to capture me and brought me here." Her eyes shone with hatred and contempt as she lifted a hand and rubbed her eyes clear of tears, but more replaced them.
A shuddering sigh escaped the teen's lips as she finished and Luna wrapped her arms around Jack, pulling her close. "Oh Jack, I'm so sorry." she murmured as Jack sobbed softly.
"I missed you so hard." whispered Jack as she hugged Luna back. The two stayed like that for a while before falling asleep.
After that had Luna took it upon herself to teach Jack how to defend herself. Which wasn't much.
But she had been able to show Jack how to stay out of everyone's grasp. She showed the teen all the grooves and crevices around the slam.
As the months followed, Jack decided to call herself Kyra and showed everyone that she was not to be messed with. Any man that dared come close to her was either killed or beaten to a pulp. In cold blood at that. She quickly earned herself a bit of fame among the guards who called her an animal for the way she acted.
Luna noticed that even after the talk Kyra was still distant to her. Talking only when spoken to and trained hours on end and was sometimes having trouble with the guards. Causing them to lock her up in the cage by the hellhounds.
When feeding time came Luna made sure that Kyra was inside their little hideout but the teen sometimes sought the beasts out herself. Kyra had been shocked when she watched how the hellhounds attacked everyone except for Luna.
She had wondered why that was and confronted Luna about it. They were sitting on the ledge at the entrance of their hideout. It was barely big enough for them both. The hounds were prowling below them, paying them no heed as they were out of range.
"Why do those things never attack you?" asked Kyra suddenly as she played with her knife. A habit she had recently picked up.
Luna blinked and glanced at her before she shrugged and looked down below at the hounds. "I don't know. It all started about three years before your arrival when I saved a hellhound from a group of inmates who tried to kill it. Ever since then all the hounds don't attack me."
"Cool. So you've tamed them?" asked Kyra curiously which gained her an incredulous look from Luna who then shook her head. "Hell no. They don't like me, they merely ignore me." she told Kyra as she clawed a hand through her hair. "If I try to touch them they won't hesitate to bite my hand off." she explained.
Kyra hummed "So they just tolerate you." she replied.
Luna nodded. "Something like that." and sighed. Her mind drifted to other things. Like living in Crematoria. Life in prison was hard for them.
The attacks of the other inmates lessened considerably since Kyra arrived. She may have been a bit distant to Luna but whenever someone attacked her, she would be there to help her. The same could be said for Luna, though she was disappointed that Kyra was still being distant.
At the same time whenever someone attacked them, Luna tried to keep from killing them. Unfortunately was that easier said than done as Kyra would immediately go for the kill when she attacked.
She already had almost two dozen kills on her name, thanks to how many tried to rape or kill her and she still wondered how Riddick and Blade did it. It didn't become easier after each kill, on the contrary, it became harder and harder and each kill brought new tears in her eyes. Not to mention her guilt weighed heavy on her shoulders.
Whenever she killed, she almost always afterwards hid herself from Kyra somewhere and cried her heart out for a while. She wanted the killing to stop, to have the blood be erased from her hands but no matter how hard she scrubbed at her hands, the feeling of the blood stayed on her hands.
Her guilt also caused the distance between her and Kyra to grow bigger.
One year and two months later.
A lone ship flew through the galaxy. On board was an old woman. She was completely dressed in white and had white hair. Her old grey eyes were filled with wisdom as she watched the ship slowly fly by a planet. In the two chairs on each side of her sat a man that piloted the ship as the other man navigated.
She placed a hand on the navigator's shoulder. "Activate the communication system and get ready to send out a message to Helion Prime." she ordered calmly, but with clear authority ringing in her voice.
The man nodded. "Yes madam." he said and clicked a few buttons. "Computer is ready to record your message, My Lady." said the man.
The woman nodded and looked at the screen of the computer.
"Leaders of Helion Prime, I have news for you of a man that can save the future of your planet. As you have heard, there is an army unlike any before going from planet to planet and purging them, leaving none alive. My calculations say that that army will arrive one month from now on your planet.
"It is of great importance that this man comes to Helion as he is the last Alpha Furyan and therefore our last hope of defeating that army. I have gotten news that he is a wanted man, I will discuss the rest of the information when I have landed on Helion Prime. Currently I am traveling towards Helion as we speak. Goodbye." she finished her little speech and pushed a button on the computer. The message disappeared and she knew it had been sent.
"My Lady, the cryo-lockers are ready for use." said the captain as he finished pushing some buttons.
"Good. Then let us prepare for the journey. It will be a difficult one as it is." she ordered and walked out of the room. The navigator and the captain pushed on some buttons and flicked a few switches before they both stood up and left the room.
Somewhere in space…
They flew close together and formed a comet-like appearance.
On the leading ship were all men dressed in dull silver armor. It had lots of sweeping lines and ridges and the mouthpiece covering the lower face had a vertically stretched death's-head grin. Most of the soldiers had a bare neck and one could see one-inch wide circular scars on either side of the neck as if something had penetrated it.
In front of a large dome-like glass that looked out into the vast emptiness of space, stood a man with a helmet that was carved into three faces.
In a separate room to the right, a soldier that stood in front of a computer pushed some buttons and touched a few places on the screen. He was merely doing what he was ordered to do; watch out for important things.
All of a sudden the computer beeped and he tapped the screen on a white dot. Another beep and a small cylindrical picture appeared on his screen. Clicking it, it opened up and he read through it calmly.
He frowned when he finished reading it and clicked two buttons and grabbed a smaller metallic tubular-like object and pushed a button on top of it. The object split in two, showing a holographic screen. He tapped a few times on the screen and the message that was on the large computer was send to the small one in his hands.
He turned around and walked away. Turning a corner and walking up some steps he came to a halt next to the man with the face-helmet.
"My Lord! The computer has just intercepted a message from a small ship." he told the Lord.
That man turned to the soldier with a sneer on his face. "And why is that of importance to me?" he asked as he stared the soldier down.
In a normal situation the man would be shifting nervously in his place from the cold, dead eyes of this man. But since he could not feel any emotions, he merely stood there and held out the computer in his hand. "It is a message from an elemental, sir. It says she found an Alpha male Furyan and has doubled the bounty on his head, sir." explained the soldier and the marshal's eyes widened at the mention of Furyan.
"Give me that." he barked and snatched the computer out of the soldier's hands. He skimmed over the screen with his fingers until he saw the message and read it. His face contorted and flickered from one emotion to another. Surprise, Shock and astonishment were first, but that quickly changed to confusion and then to worry.
Who was this man? Why had he not heard of him before? He needed answers. He pushed the small computer back in the man's hands and turned forward again. "Commander Vaako!" called the man as he shifted his hands behind his back.
A man, also in a dull silver armor, came walking towards the Lord. His black hair was shaved at the sides and pulled back in small braids. His brown eyes stared unwaveringly at the Lord before he bowed. "You called for me, my Lord?" he asked as he straightened up.
The Lord stared at him. "Yes, when we arrive on Helion Prime I want you to send out a small group of soldiers to go look for an elemental." he ordered and Vaako arched a brow at the sudden command, but inclined his head.
"As you wish my Lord." he said and left.
The Lord Marshal frowned as he turned to look out into space again. His mind was in turmoil. If what stood in the message was true then… he shook his head and turned to the soldier. "You, I want you to go find out who it is they're speaking of in the message. Find out anything you can about this Alpha Furyan." he barked and the soldier straightened a bit as he nodded.
"Yes, Milord." and was about to leave when the Marshal held out the computer.
"And find me the name of this elemental." he ordered before he turned back to look out into space again.
The soldier nodded again "Yes, Lord Marshal." and walked away.
On an icy world named U.V.6 two men both dressed in animal skins ran across the deep, narrow rocky folds of the surface. They jumped over some wider spaced folds and glanced back every once in a while.
The first male was a man with grayish hair that was full of knots and had snow sticking in it. His hair came to his shoulders and when the man glanced back one could see the black goggles covering his eyes. He also had a long moustache and beard that had also snow in them.
His poncho-like cape flapped behind him because of the harsh wind that was blowing.
He glanced over at the man running next to him.
The second man glanced back, but one couldn't see that as he wore aviators over his eyes. His skin was notably darker then his friend. He too had long hair, beard and a moustache and with him it was also filled with large flakes of snow.
Unlike his friend though, he wore a long cape instead of a poncho. The harsh wind made it flutter behind him.
A look was exchanged and both glanced back again before they both went a bit faster just when the ship behind them shot off one large net. It missed them by inches.
A grunt came from the lighter-skinned man as he glanced back again before he looked forward just in time as he jumped over a wide opening. His friend jumped over an opening also and then ran more to the right so that there was some distance between him and his friend.
Another net was shot and the dark-skinned male just jumped over an opening when the net came at him. He landed on the other side of the hole while the net fell into the opening and stuck into the wall the man landed on.
A curse flew from the captain of the ship as he flew after the two men. His grey eyes narrowed on the duo running away. "Fuckin' shit." he muttered as he focused the ship on steadying it.
The two men ran towards a chasm between icy mountains.
The captain ignored the bead of sweat that rolled down the side of his face and licked his lips. "Quick! Take a shot!" he barked and the two gunners on both sides aimed their guns at the men. "Take the fucking shots!" he barked again, a ripple of fear went through him. Afraid he was going to lose them in the chasm of the mountains.
The gunners did as ordered and fired a net at the two men. The nets flew through the air and landed right behind their feet, crossed over one another.
"Shit!" cursed the captain.
"Toombs, we're runnin' out of road!" warned the navigator as he shifted his gaze from the mountains to Toombs and back again.
"Shut up! I got it! Again!" barked Toombs and the gunners each aimed at one of the men and shot it.
In the back of the ship three more men sat on the benches across from one another with their guns in their hands. They all glanced at eachother but said or did nothing.
One of the nets managed to knock one of the males down as one of its spikes landed in his leg and covered both his legs. Immediately his friend stopped and turned to him. He pulled out a sword from under his cape and with a flick of his hand he skillfully cut the net apart, freeing his comrade.
The injured man pulled the spike from his calf and snarled. Then he stood up with a growl and turned to the ship with his arms wide, revealing to the mercs that he held a shiv in each hand. He motioned with his head and then quickly ran deeper into the chasm followed by his friend.
Toombs cursed loudly. "Shit! Fuck! We had one of 'em! We had Riddick!"
"Toombs!" cried the navigating merc out as the ship flew straight at the too small gap of the mountains.
Toombs quickly pulled the steering stick towards him and the ship came to a rocky stop.
He flicked a few switches and the ship hovered in the air as Toombs stared down at the entrance of the chasm.
"Riddick and Blade." he sneered before he slowly lowered the ship to the ground and turned the power off. He unbuckled his belts and got out of his chair.
"Alright guys, put on a fresh pair of panties, we're goin' hunting." chuckled Toombs as he grabbed his gun from the gun rack and got out of the ship.
The navigating merc swallowed thickly before he followed Toombs along with the others, while the men hanging from the sides of the ship released themselves from their place.
"Hey Toombs, are ya sure 'bout this? I mean, they have the field advantage here." said the navigator a bit hesitantly.
Toombs glanced at him with a smirk. "If you don't like it then ya shouldn't have stepped up. Anyway, you and you, what's yer name again?" he pointed to a merc on the right bench.
Said man stood up as he shifted his fingers on his gun. "T'name's Jacob…-" he started but Toombs immediately waved him off.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, you and pansy here are guarding the ship until we get back." He turned to the other mercs along with the two who just got free from their harnesses. "The rest of you come with me." he ordered as he walked out of the ship with a smile on his face. "We're going for a little hunting." he chuckled just as he jumped out of the ship.
A shudder went down his back when the icy wind of the planet hit him. He shook his head and turned to the others. They all had shirts or thin sweaters on and it was clear that it was also cold to them.
He turned around and started walking into the chasm, his eyes flickered from one rock to another. The whole place was filled with ledges, natural bridges and spires. It was the perfect area for Riddick and Blade to hide.
The duo had just finished climbing the side of one of the hills and once on top they hid behind a boulder. Blade glanced over at his friend and crouched as he silently tightened his grip on his sword.
Riddick glanced carefully around the boulder and saw that the ship had landed. His gaze flitted to the entrance of the chasm and saw the mercs trudging carefully through the snow.
He turned to Blade and motioned with his head to the men. Blade nodded in understanding.
They waited calmly until the mercs passed. Blade had to lay down in the snow to avoid being seen by Toombs and his friends.
Once the group was several feet away, they slid down the wall again and snuck towards the ship. They hid behind boulders and climbed a ledge and from there jumped to another ledge and slowly slid down to the ground again. They were about to move when the navigating merc by the ship glanced their way and they ducked their head low behind their cloaks.
It served well as a camouflage since it was almost the color of the snow. The wind hindered the merc's vision which helped in their advantage as the merc only saw a rocky wall.
He turned away again and shuddered. It was so cold. He would be happy if they caught Riddick and Blade so that they could get the hell out of this hellhole.
Blade chanced a glance towards the ship and saw that the mercs weren't looking anymore. He then turned his head to Riddick and nodded.
Riddick nodded back and glanced towards Toombs and his group. They were almost out of sight now. He smirked and turned to Blade and nodded again.
Said hunter grinned and they both stealthily made their way to the ship.
Almost there, the second merc slowly looked their way and saw them. His eyes widened when he saw them and he opened his mouth to shout. He didn't get the chance.
Riddick threw his shiv into the man's throat. The man gurgled and in his dying moments he pulled the trigger, firing shots in the air, warning Toombs and the rest of the crew. Riddick growled in annoyance at the shots but knew it was too late to do something about them.
Toombs and his crew heard the shots and everyone started cursing as they turned as one and ran back to the ship again. They saw Riddick and Blade fighting with the two mercs and quickly shot at them. "Fuck! Stupid fuckers!" roared Toombs as he aimed his shots at Riddick.
In the meantime Blade jumped at the navigator. The merc yelped and tried to shoot him but Blade was faster. He slammed the side of his hand into the merc's wrist, making him drop his gun. He twisted his sword in his other hand and held the edge of it against the man's throat.
"What's the bounty on our head?" he demanded. The man gulped as he glanced down at the sword before looking up into the face of his hostage-taker. "One million each." said the merc in a nervous tone.
Blade smelled the lie on him and forced the sword closer to the navigator's throat. A trickle of blood ran down the man's neck as the edge cut slightly in his throat. Blade growled darkly at the man as he bared his teeth at him. "You're lying." he snarled and was about to use force when a bullet flew by their heads.
Blade's head snapped towards the chasm and saw the rest of the mercs running towards them.
He growled before he pulled his sword away from the man's throat and slammed the butt of his sword into the merc's temple. The man grunted in pain as he was momentarily dazed. Blade then threw him over his shoulder and climbed into the ship.
Riddick in the meantime had already started the engines and Blade could hear said engines whirring to life. Blade meanwhile put the man down and shook him out of his daze.
"Now let's try again, fucker. I ask the question and you answer. The truth this time along with where the bounties came from. You lie to me and I'll cut you a smile from ear to ear." he snarled and the man shook in fear at the threat.
Blade suddenly smelled an awful stench from the man and curled his lip. The man had just pissed himself. The navigator swallowed, ignoring the stinging of his neck he tried again all the while trying to hide his shame from pissing himself. "I heard I-it's 750 thousand for you b-but for Riddick I-it's 1.5 mil. The p-price c-came from a private party." said the man with a soft whimper.
Blade bared his teeth, flashing his fangs in annoyance. "What planet?!" he snarled darkly.
The merc whimpered as a bead of sweat rolled by his right eye. "Helion Prime! Toombs said the bounty came from Helion Prime!" shouted the man as he held up his hands in surrender "Please don't kill me." he whimpered.
As Blade was interrogating him, Riddick brought the ship high enough so that it was out of range of the bullets but made sure it was still in the atmosphere. When Riddick heard this he, along with Blade, tensed at the name and Riddick gritted his teeth in anger.
Blade snarled and pulled his sword away. The man felt relieved for a moment before it turned to horror when the Daywalker roughly pulled his head by the hair aside and violently bit him in the neck. A bit of blood splattered the floor from the aggressive bite but Blade paid no heed as he started drinking the merc's blood.
The man let out a pain-filled cry and panicked as his body jolted, he punched Blade's arm and chest and tried to push him away. But nothing worked. The half-vampire was too strong and slowly drank him dry. He felt his strength leaving him quickly. Each minute another pint left his body. His actions slowed down as his eyes fluttered and became heavier by the second.
Riddick knew they were finished here and turned the ship towards the sky and slowly started flying to space. He would've done it full speed but there were two problems that kept him from doing that. One, the doors were still open and two… Blade was still drinking his fill.
When his comrade was done, he threw the merc out of the ship and pushed the button next to the door and then walked to the chair nearest to Riddick and sat down. Once the doors were fully closed, Riddick pulled the lever of the gas completely towards him and the ship took off into space at full speed at last.
They had an appointment with an old friend.
Time for the reviews!
