Chapter 28

"Tence, huh?" Black Heart shifted herself slightly. It wasn't much, but it allowed her to put more tension into her legs, which she used to launch herself at Tence. The other woman narrowed her brown eyes as Black Heart got close. Just before Black Heart would have skewered Tence, the other woman was shifting, twisting and ducking while raising her fan upwards, where it hit Black Heart's sword, knocking it off target with a metal clang.

As Tence spun, she stuck her left leg out and pouted as she looked up to see Black Heart passing by her overhead. "A sudden attack?" She asked as Black Heart flipped in mid-air and landed a few feet away. "How rude!"

"I'm not in a mood to be polite with people who unleash zombified monsters in my nation, make the people in Lowee sick and attack my friends little sisters." Black Heart said sternly.

"Boo." Tence sighed. "Oh well." She raised her hands and shrugged helplessly. "Even if my fans are metal, I doubt I could beat you easily with them."

Black Heart looked at Tence in confusion before realizing something. "Wait, where is..."

"YOUR SOUL BELONGS TO SATAN!"

Black Heart yelped as she felt something slam into her stomach, knocking her into the air. Grunting, she saw the teddy bear that Tence had been holding, only it had red glowing eyes and a red aura around it. "What the hell?!"

"YOU SHALL BECOME OUR SLAVE AND WORK IN THE SALT MINES!"

Black Heart sweat-dropped as the bear opened its mouth and screamed those words out. It was a deep scream that sounded demonic in nature. "I really don't have time for this."

"Oh dear." Tence pouted. "Xinnie, you know better than to threaten to turn people into salt slaves. You're supposed to offer them that AFTER you remove a limb or three."

"SHUT UP! YOU TRAPPED MY SOUL IN THIS TEDDY BEAR! I SHALL FEAST ON YOUR ENTRAILS WHEN I GET FREE!" The bear turned and glared while pointing at Tence.

"Yes, yes, I look forward to it." Tence chuckled and looked up at Black Heart. "Xinnie's just a demon that I managed to summon from the Netherworld and somehow I trapped it in my teddy bear. Quite a useful accident, if I do say so myself."

Xinnie grumbled and turned to glare at Black Heart. "WELL, BETTER THAN BEING STUCK IN A PENGUIN SUIT, I GUESS!"

Black Heart shook her head and glared at the teddy bear. "Demon or not, you're still a teddy bear." Her sword was engulfed in fire as she did a dive-bomb for Xinnie. "Volcano Di..ACK!" She let out a scream as Xinnie turned to look at her and opened its mouth, letting out a laser blast that clipped her right hip, causing her to let out a scream of pain as she felt it tear right through her processor and leave a scorch mark. "STUPID BEAR!" She yelled and finished her attack as her sword slammed into the ground, causing an eruption all around her. Looking up, she grinned as Xinnie went flying while screaming and on fire. "Stupid Demons."

Black Heart's green eyes widened and she turned her body to the right and swung her sword upwards, knocking a thrown fan at her up into the air.

"Damn, your instincts are pretty sharp, huh?" Tence said while pulling on a metal string and yanking the fan right back to her. Snatching the fan out of the air, she chuckled as Black Heart quickly moved out of the way of a laser blast. "Two on one, can you win? Especially since you don't have any of your friends helping you out." Her attitude changed to confusion when Black Heart suddenly smirked at her. "What?"

"If that's a loner joke..." Black Heart's eyes gleamed as she looked at Tence. "You're terrible at it." She snapped her right arm out and an energy sword formed in it before she slashed out at Tence, sending energy and wind at the woman, sending her flying backwards. "If you want to get good at loner jokes, ask Neptune, she was always good at them."

Tence groaned as she landed on her head and her dress flipped down, revealing plain white panties that had Tence letting out a shriek as she flipped straight up and pushed her skirt down, her face red. "You did not see that!"

"What?" Black Heart had a confused look on her face. "My sympathies, but it's not like you were wearing a thong or going commando." She turned to the side and cut through a trash can that was thrown at her. "Seriously?" She asked as she raised an eyebrow at Xinnie, who was standing there with another trash can held above its head.

"THE DIVINE ARE ALL GARBAGE!" Xinnie yelled and threw the trash can at Black Heart.

Black Heart rolled her eyes, grabbed the can, spun around and threw it right back at Xinnie, who let loose a laser beam that caused the can to melt and the trash to go flying in all directions. "...You're going to have to clean that up." Black Heart said flatly.

There was a few small clinking sounds on the ground and Black Heart looked down, her eyes widening as she saw small balls that suddenly exploded into multiple colored gasses that quickly surrounded her. The next thing she knew, there was a prick at her neck and she slapped at it.

"Oh dear..." Tence chuckled softly. "I wonder... Even with the fact that you are a Goddess..." She smirked and walked forward slowly as the gas dissipated and Black Heart was on her knees, panting softly. "The only reason you're not dead is because you're not human."

Black Heart glared at Tence and panted while grimacing. "You... You're the reason that Lowee's suffering right now, aren't you?"

"Bingo." Tence grinned and rushed forward, kicking Black Heart in the head and causing her to cry out in pain as she was launched several feet away. "I wonder if our target's been taken care of yet."

Black Heart grunted as she landed on her back and she struggled to push herself up onto her elbows. "Her... Name... Is Uni! You will..." Black Heart groaned as she felt her arms losing strength and she flopped onto her back again.

"TIME TO DIE!" Xinnie yelled and jumped on top of Black Heart, standing on her breasts. Black Heart could only stare in mute horror as the teddy bear opened its mouth and energy built up.

Elsewhere...

Acti frowned as he saw what was going on with Tence. "Stupid bitch, she knows better than to kill if she doesn't have to." There wasn't much he could do about it since he wouldn't be able to make it over there to stop her or her pet Demon. "Well, time to take care of our target." He wasn't far away from DS Black or Purple Sister. "Beth..." Beth appeared on the screen, grinning. "Time to move."

"Of course." Beth nodded at him. "I'm in position."

"I'll be joining you in a moment." Acti said and jumped down from his position while pulling out a large hand cannon. As he landed and started running towards Purple Sister and DS Black, he pushed a few buttons on the cannon, turning it on and causing it to glow as it powered up. Despite the fact that the cannon was very large, Acti was holding it in one hand with ease. Rounding a corner, he slid to a stop and came face-to-face with the CPU Candidates. "Huh, I arrived early."

"You're..." Purple Sister frowned in confusion. "Wait!" Her eyes widened and she pointed a finger at him. "A male character who actually has a face and isn't hidden in a power armor or is a robot?!"

Acti and DS Black both face-faulted when Purple Sister said that.

"Urgh..." DS Black groaned, her butt up in the air as she looked up at Purple Sister. "Seriously? THAT'S what you're focusing on?"

Purple Sister rubbed the back of her head and chuckled nervously. "Well, usually when guys are actually displayed and have faces and full-body profiles, they end up being bad... Guys..." She trailed off as something in her mind clicked. "Um, you wouldn't happen to be that guy who shot Noire, would you?"

"Jeez!" Acti grumbled and got to his feet. "The guy who shot Black Heart? I'm holding this giant gun, which is glowing, running around during a monster invasion into Lastation and there's the fact that I said I arrived early." He dusted himself off with his free hand and sighed. "Yes, I did. My name's Acti, and this... Is my Big Freaking Gun."

"...I want it." Both Purple Sister and DS Black said at the same time as they looked at it.

"Sorry, but the BFG is mine." Acti said and pointed it at the two before firing a green energy blast that rocketed out of the end of the cannon at the girls, who flew into the air as the wall that had been behind them was vaporized, causing the building to suddenly crumple and tilt before falling down. Seeing what was happening, Acti jumped high into the air and out of the way as dust and debris were kicked into the air. "Well, that was about what I expected." He muttered before looking up as Purple Sister let out a yell and slammed into him with her gunblade, forcing a grunt of pain out of him as he was sent flying into the ground at high speeds. "BETH!"

Before Purple Sister could do anything more, the area around her lit up and she turned to see a giant fireball coming right at her. Before she could react, DS Black was in front of it, cutting it in half. "Thanks, Uni."

"Don't mention it." DS Black smirked and pointed her cannon at the newcomer. "...Huh, she has wings too?"

Purple Sister gasped as she recognized the other woman. "That's the woman that was there that day when Cave died."

"Yeah, sorry about that." Beth told Purple Sister. "Ubi's a bitch sometimes and I should have realized she would have done something like that." Her wings flapped behind her as the air started to crackle with power. "But you," she pointed at DS Black, "are the last target. Sorry about what we had to do to get you to come out, but we figured by now you would have figured out what we were up to."

"Why?" DS Black asked as she narrowed her eyes at Beth. "Why are you trying to get Fearicite energy? That stuff destroyed an entire dimension."

"Who can say?" Beth shrugged at DS Black. "I'm not the one who wants it, my boss is."

DS Black and Purple Sister quickly shared a look as they realized what was going on.

"Fine, I'll take you on." DS Black said and shifted her cannon so she was aiming at the flying woman.

"Be careful, Uni." Purple Sister told the other CPU Candidate as she looked at Acti, who had gotten up and was pointing his cannon at them. "She has the power to forcibly cancel out HDD."

DS Black just smirked as she crouched. "Then I have an unfair advantage. I fought most of my battles in Gamworld in my human form." She launched herself at Beth so fast that the other woman was unable to react when DS Black tackled her in mid-air before stopping and sending Beth flying backwards. "See ya." She pointed her gun and fired a quick blast at Beth, sending the other woman careening through the air uncontrolled.

Acti looked up as Purple Sister and smirked as red lines formed across his body, starting from his eyes, which went completely white. "Now, let's have some fun, hmm?" He flipped a switch, put his free hand under the barrel of the cannon and pulled the trigger on his BFG, firing several small green blasts at Purple Sister in such rapid succession that it looked like a bunch of balls were launched from the cannon in a stream.

Purple Sister let out a yell as she flew above the stream and fired a blast right into Acti, who grunted as it hit him in the chest. Purple Sister's eyes widened in shock as the blast didn't seem to connect but was splitting and spraying all around him. "A barrier?"

"Close enough." Acti smirked and aimed his gun at her, firing again, forcing Purple Sister to dodge to avoid being hit. "You're a nimble little bitch, aren't you?"

"My best friend is someone who takes pride in her shooting abilities. I've been her sparring partner whenever she wants to practice against moving targets." Purple Sister pointed out as she did a flip in mid-air to avoid another shot before diving to the ground at high speeds. Just before her face would have hit the ground, she created a sigil, which she used as a spring-board to launch herself at Acti, who was out of position to move. "DEYAH!" She screamed, slamming her gunblade into Acti and sending him flying backwards.

Acti grunted, but even as he flew backwards, he fired a quick burst from his BFG, which slammed into Purple Sister, who hadn't fully recovered from her attack. Quickly throwing up a barrier, she let out a yell as the energy washed over her and sent her flying away as it exploded.

In the air, DS Black smirked as her tail swished behind her. "Now then..." She rushed in at Beth, who pulled out a large double-bladed axe and swung it at DS Black, who parried with her cannon's bladed side. "NGH!" She grunted as Beth sent her flying back. "Okay, so she's got some monster strength then, huh?" DS Black's eyes widened as Beth swung her axe in a wide arc, sending a wave of electrical energy at her. Her wings glowing, she shot straight up into the air.

"Aww..." Beth pouted at DS Black. "Well, that's fine, that would have just stunned you long enough for me to finish the job." She yelped as her axe was blasted out of her hand.

DS Black smirked and fired her cannon again, only to seemingly disappear and reappear a few feet away from her previous position, firing again, and repeating this process over and over, increasing the speed of her rapid movements and cutting down the firing delay between each shot until the sky was filled with a stream of energy blasts heading right at Beth, who stared in absolute shock at the attack coming her way. "Well, crap."

Watching her attack connect, DS Black turned away from Beth as there was an explosion and looked down at Purple Sister as she got blasted by a green energy shot. "Nepgear!" She flew down towards the other CPU Candidate as fast as she could.

"DA!" A suddenly scream had DS Black turning her head, only to get slammed by a powerful sound wave, sending her crashing into the ground.

"GAH!" DS Black gasped as she saw Beth, who was looking a bit burned and smoking from her attack, but was otherwise okay, grinning at her with blood seeping from her lips. "Dammit!" She hissed as she used her wings to right herself from falling any further. "Alright you bitch, round two!"

Beth grinned at DS Black as her hands crackled with electricity. "This'll be fun. But, really, you should know that you can't beat me."

"Bullshit." DS Black shot back and her tail curled around her and fired a shot at Beth, who barely avoided the shot. "I don't care about your ability to cancel out my HDD! If you think," another shot, this one hit Beth in the wing, causing Beth to cry out in pain as she found that the damage was making it hard to stay afloat, "that you can win because," another shot from DS Black's tail ripped through Beth's other wing, "you can cancel out my HDD, you never fought a CPU Candidate like me then." She aimed her big gun at Beth, who gasped as a shot powered up and blasted her, hitting her square in the stomach, causing an explosion that engulfed her.

On the ground Acti slid off the wall that he had been slammed into and grimaced as the lines on his body started to fade. "Stupid time limits. Oh well..." He shrugged as his eyes returned to normal. "Maybe next time I'll just steal a power star from Lowee or something, at least then I won't get blasted off of my feet so easily." There wasn't much he could do about it right now. 'As soon as boss gets things set up though...'

Purple Sister was on one knee and looking at him while panting softly. "Why?" She asked and Acti looked at her in confusion. "Why are you and the others doing such things? Because of your ally, Cave is..."

"Did your sister stop to think about what she was doing?" Acti asked Purple Sister. "Did she think about the people she brought into these two worlds? Did she stop to think how hard it was for the outsiders to integrate into our societies? Do you have any idea how hard it's been for the average person in either Gamindustri since your sister flooded both worlds with outsiders?" Acti spread his arms and took a step forward while Purple Sister looked at him in dismay. "Or did she simply think that the "right thing to do" was to throw all of our lives into chaos for no good reason?"

"No!" Purple Sister stood up and glared at Acti. "That's not like Neptune! Sure, she's impulsive and doesn't always think things through, but she did what was best!"

"So what was best for everyone was to bring new people into the world and everyone has to suffer for her selfishness?" Acti asked Purple Sister and shook his head. "Because of her, your friend, Cave is dead and you're soon to be all alone and out-numbered."

"What?" Purple Sister asked, her face going pale as she stared at him in shock. "What do you mean?"

"I mean," Acti grinned at her, "the Black Heart of this dimension is probably dead by now. I haven't looked since we started fighting, but last I saw, she was on her back and facing a demon beam at point-blank range."

"NO!" Purple Sister cried out in shock. "Noire!"

Several minutes ago...

Tence smirked as Xinnie finished powering up his demon beam. "Finish that fake off."

Black Heart glared at Xinnie. "Fucker..."

"ROT IN HELL!" The Demon possessed teddy bear yelled before firing a blast at point blank range.

Or at least he would have, had Black Heart not smirked and put her hand on the ground, which suddenly erupted around her, engulfing both her and Xinnie in a firey explosion as they both cried out in pain.

"She used her own Volcano Dive on herself?" Tence asked, shocked as Xinnie, his fur slightly burned came out of the explosion and he rolled to a stop next to her. "You okay?"

"I WILL FEAST ON HER SOUL!"

"Okay, you're fine." Tence shrugged. "Hmm..." She looked over at Black Heart, who was smoking and covered in burn marks, but was on her feet while gripping her sword, which was plunged into the ground and using it as a way to try and force herself to stay standing, even as her legs wobbled and she was slightly bent over. "She's still pretty weak though, I guess I'll..." She trailed off as Xinnie walked forward. "You want to finish it?"

"OF COURSE I DO!" Xinnie yelled and ran forward, charging his laser up and leaping into the air. "DIE, CPU!" He screamed and prepared to fire a shot that would bisect Black Heart's head. Black Heart just looked up while panting softly. Xinnie let out a chuckle as he finished charging his beam and fired it at Black Heart...

...Or he would have, had his head not suddenly snapped back and he was launched backwards while his beam was shot into the sky harmlessly.

"WHO DARES?!" Xinnie yelled as he landed on his back and slid back next to Tence.

A metal boot landed on the ground as a body stood in front of Black Heart protectively. "Lady Noire! I apologize for being so late, but the zombies were a pain to kill off."

"St...Steamax?" Black Heart stared in shock. "B...But I thought you'd be mad at me."

"My personal feelings towards your punishment that you gave Brave, myself and Lady Uni do not matter, Lady Noire," the ninja said while narrowing his eyes at Tence and Xinnie. "My first duty is to protect the CPUs of Lastation. And besides," he shifted into a stance with a short sword appearing in each hand, "Lady Uni would be terribly sad if something happened to you."

"How sweet..." Tence said and flicked a hand through her hair. "But even if you're as good as a CPU, there's only one of you, a CPU who can barely move and you're facing two opponents. Face it, you're outnumbered!"

"If giving my life means that Lady Noire and Lady Uni survive another few minutes, then so be it." Steamax told her.

Black Heart's eyes widened and her face went red while looking away. 'Now I see why Uni trusts you so much.'

"LET'S JUST END THEM TOGETHER!" Xinnie yelled and Tence nodded.

"Yes, let's go." The two took a stance and prepared to run forward when something suddenly struck them from behind, causing them to stumble. "What the hell?!"

"Who's outnumbered now?" A sultry voice suddenly spoke up and the air was filled with a feeling of dread and menace that had even Steamax taking a half-step backwards out of nervousness.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" Xinnie yelled and spun to see a new figure walking towards them. The figure was female, tall, had long hair and was wearing a dominatrix-styled bikini outfit. "...WHY AM I SUDDENLY SO NERVOUS?!"

"P...Plutia?" Black Heart gasped as she saw her long-time friend walking towards them. "What are you doing here?"

Iris Heart just shook her head as she snapped her sword to the side. "I'll tell you later, Noire, but first..." Her red eyes burned with an intensity that had everyone shivering. "There are two naughty people in front of me that need punishment."

Both Tence and Xinnie audibly gulped as they faced down the most terrifying CPU in both dimensions.

Xinnie is a Godless Commie, after all. And the idea of him talking like that comes from Yugioh the Abridged Series where one of the characters has a teddy bear that speaks like that.

Anyway, hope it was good. There's a part three (hopefully the final part) for this assault after all.
