Chapter Seven – New Enemy of the Labyrinth

The next day, Hajime and Yue put the camping equipment away and continue their way down to the labyrinth.
"Hey, Hajime?" Asked Yue.
"Why are you down all the down here? How are you able to eat monsters meat without it killing you, and how did you lose your arm?" Asked Yue.
"One of my classmates betrayed me when we were exploring the labyrinth, but I don't care about them. One of the monsters cut my arm off and nearly killed me, so I had a choice to make: Being killed or grow in strength." Hajime tells Yue with a soft tone.
"You were betrayed?" Asked Yue.
"Yes, that is right, but I do not care about them besides, I'm going to find out why this world so dark for. Make it a better place," Hajime responds back to Yue.
"I think it has something to do with the demons," said Yue.
"Demons?" Hajime tells Yue as he swings a rope to captures a rock, which he takes Yue down the levels as her cheeks turn bright red because he has a warm aura around him.
"Yes, I don't know if they are still around, but humans and demons have been at war with each other for many years," said Yue.
"Well, I guess I'll have to make them work together because I feel like someone else pulling the lines to it," Hajime responds back to Yue as she was surprised that he has known much about the world like he wants to stay here.
"Oh yes, little girl, we are still around," said a voice.
Hajime quickly took his gun out and points it at the source of the voice, "Who's there?!" Asked Hajime.
Yue becomes scared of the voices in which Hajime places her behind him to protect her.
The person comes out of the shadows, revealing to be a man who looks like he is in his mid-thirties, he has red hair, red eyes, and tan skin.
He was wearing a black jacket and pants with a dark undershirt. "So, are you the one who released the vampire princess from her prison, mate?" He was asking Hajime and Yue.
"Yes, I am, what about it?" Asked Hajime.
"That's good, you did all the hard work for me," said the demon.
"I'm sorry to say this but Yue doesn't belong to anyone. She's her own person and I will protect her even if it costs my life." Hajime tells the demon as Yue felt her heart racing for him.
"Well then, I guess I have no choice but to kill you then," said the demon, and shot a purple energy blast at Hajime.
Hajime picks Yue up in bridal style for them to dodge the attack, which he was able to do so with one arm, he then puts Yui down and used his gunshot bullets towards the demon. The demon dodges the bullets and summons a monster after Hajime.
Hajime felt something soft on his chest then looks down to sees it was Yue's breasts.
"Oh crap, sorry," said Hajime.
"I don't mind... Besides, I believe you don't mean to." Yue tells Hajime which he was blushing deeply more.
"Hajime then sees the demon was about to attack, so he grabs her and gets out of the way so he can take Yue to a safe place.
Hajime and Yue hide away from the demon as he places his finger onto her lips to keep her quiet.
"Stay here, okay?" Said Hajime in a whispering tone.
Yue hugs Hajime which it felt warm
"Please come back soon," said Yue.
"Don't worry besides, I'm not going to leave you." Hajime jumps out of his hiding place and shots at the demon. The demon managed to move out of the way, but not before the bullet grazed his arm.
"Ah!" Shouted the demon in pain.
Hajime reloads his gun again with explosives bullets.
"Who are you and why do you want Yue?" Asked Hajime.
"Is that what her name is? Why do you think we want her?" Asked the demon.
"I'm asking the questions here besides, I care about her because she's the second person to care about me," Hajime responds back to the demon.
"Second person? Then who is the first?" Asked the demon.
"That's not important right now, why do you want Yue so badly?" Asked Hajime.
A bunch of monsters then began to appear behind the demon, which they are under their control.
"Why do you think? We want to recruit her to our ranks," said the demon.
"Recruit her? Or use her powers for your own gain?" Asked Hajime glaring at the demon. He swings his right-hand for Yue to come out as she comes out then Hajime continues "If she declines your offer then you'll leave us to our path."
A bunch of monsters then began to appear behind the demon, which they are under their control.
"Why do you think? We want to recruit her to our ranks," said the demon.
"Recruit her? Or use her powers for your own gain?" Asked Hajime glaring at the demon. He swings his right-hand for Yue to come out as she comes out then Hajime continues "If she declines your offer then you'll leave us to our path."
"Oh, I'm afraid that's not possible, either you hand us over, or you die!" Said the Demon.
Hajime points his gun at the demon's head as his words are, "Then there's no deal here like I said Yue is coming with me to surface but then she's own person to decide what she wants to do." With his tone being firm.
"Then you will die! Get him!" Shouted the demon.
And the monsters began to charge towards Hajime. Hajime uses his explosion bullets which makes an explosion on impact as four demons were killed.
"What?! Already?!" Said the Demon.
"Your punishment is death," Hajime tells them.
Hajime tries to kill the demon, but a monster jumps in and takes the bullet for the demon. Hajime did not care because he was going to kill them.
"I don't care if I have to kill a million of your pets, I will kill you by the end of the day!" Shouted Hajime.
Hajime rushes towards the demon and starts killing one after another of the monsters. The demon then began shooting purple energy blast at Hajime to hopefully slow him down.
Hajime jumps over the energy blast, which leads towards three demons.
"Where did those other demons come from?" Asked Hajime in his thoughts.
Hajime shots three bullets towards their foreheads, killing them.
"Shit!" Said the main villain and tries to make a run for it.
Yue stops him by blasting his legs which she begins walking over to end him.
"Damn, this can't be happening!" Said the demon. The other monsters began to rush towards Hajime to save their master. Hajime then shoots them to death, he jumps over them, ducks under them, and kills them, scaring the demon.
"What are you?!" Asked the demon.
"A person who's going to change this world," Hajime tells the demon.
"I'll tell you now if you kill me now, my people will track you down and kill you!" Said the Demon.
"Then I'll kill them too if they come after Yue," Hajime tells the demon, and then he kills him by shooting him by the head.
Hajime sees Yue looks at him which he gets up and nods at her.
"Okay, we're good to go," said Hajime.
"Hajime... If I'm a dangerous person then I should l-." Yue was going to tell him, but he stops her as he says "You not and I wasn't lying to him or you. I will protect you."
Hearing those words Hajime began to make Yue cry and she quickly hugs him.
Hajime hugs Yue back as he wanted to keep her safe, "You have nothing to fear Yue," said Hajime.
Hajime kept himself of not wanted to take advantage of Yue, so he strokes her hair comfortably.
"We should get moving before the monsters realize what just happened," said Hajime.
"Right, Hajime." Yue pulls away and her heart was pounding as she could not believe but was it possible that she was slowly falling in love with Hajime? Hajime soon picked up his things and he and Yue went deeper into the labyrinth.
Hajime and Yue continue their way towards the labyrinth which she asks, "When are you going to change this world then that does mean you going to stay here in this world?"
"Yes, I am, because I have nothing to go back to," said Hajime.
"Then is it okay if I can stay with you then?" Yue makes the request for Hajime.
"Sure, I don't mind," said Hajime.
Yue shows a joyful smile, and she hugs Hajime as her breasts pushed against his chest, making Hajime blush when he felt her breast.
"Hey... Yue." Hajime speaks.
"Yes?" Asked Yue.
"Your friends are touching me," Hajime responds back to Yue with a gentle tone.
"Friends?" Asked Yue and looks down to see her breasts were touching Hajime's chest, "Oh, sorry," said Yue and pulls away.
"You're fine besides, I wasn't expecting another hug is all," Hajime tells Yue which they continue their way inside of the labyrinth.
"Hey Yue, can I ask you a question?" Asked Hajime.
"Yes, what is it?" Yue answers back at Hajime.
"Do you have any idea what floor we are on?" Asked Hajime.
"I have no clue, I'm sorry," Yue responds back to Hajime.
Hajime sighs, "I was afraid you were going to say that" said Hajime.
Hajime places Yue's hand inside of his own as he smiles at her as they continue their way towards the labyrinth.
