Chapter 7
Snow Angel, Wizard, And Vampire
A few days had passed after Gin recovered from his injuries sustained from his battle with Cerberus and the silver-haired Moka, but he was now aware that his club mates would be keeping a sharp eye on him so that he wouldn't peek at girls when they were changing in the locker rooms or in the dormitories. All in all, everyone was happily handing out new copies from the Yokai Gazette. Many students came by and asked for a copy from the Newspaper club..
"Wow this new issue sure is selling like hotcakes," said Gin.
"Yeah it's great after all the work we put into it," agreed Tsukune.
"You're telling me, I managed to sell twenty-seven copies in just twenty seconds flat," Yozora said with a slight hint of excitement in his voice.
A few minutes later, the boxes were emptied and there were no newspapers left to sell.
"We did it! We really did it! We got rid of them all!" cheered Yukari.
"Well it looks like another issue of the paper was another big hit for us," agreed Kurumu.
"Hey you guys, what do you say we throw ourselves a wrap party for once? We can all bring some snacks!" suggested Moka.
"That's just what I was thinking, Moka," Yozora said with a smirk.
"That's a great idea, you two," added Tsukune.
"Sounds like a good plan to me," agreed Yukari.
"Wait, hold on, has anyone seen Gin? Where'd he run off to?" asked the vampiress.
"Strange, he was right here just a second ago," added Tsukune.
"I wouldn't worry about him too much. He's probably asking another girl if she could become a professional model," said Yozora.
"Maybe, but at least we're still keeping a sharp eye on him," replied Kurumu, who had her arms folded over her chest.
"I hear you, he better watch himself or he's gonna get neutered!" Yukari said with her wand raised.
"Easy now, little soldier. I'm sure Gin's reasoning may be a bit difficult to acknowledge, but he's the alpha of this club," Yozora said to his apprentice.
"Yeah, I guess you're right," sighed Yukari.
Everyone began to think about what they should do for the party, when Tsukune suggested they leave out the alcoholic beverages. Moka suggested they buy some snacks from the campus store, and Yukari wanted some fresh drinks as well so that everyone would be well fed.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to have an after club party when we've sold a lot of newspapers," the wizard said as he placed his hands behind his head.
"Then it's a deal, we'll meet up after class in the club room with lots of snacks," agreed Kurumu.
But the five of them didn't know that another girl had approached them from behind as Kurumu asked what kind of games they wanted to play. Yozora looked directly at the girl and saw that she looked a bit different. She had long light purple hair, beautiful violet-blue eyes, and had a lollipop in her mouth. She wore a white sweatshirt with navy-blue sleeves with a black singlet underneath, a yellow pendant around her neck, a light-brown pleated-checkered skirt, dark and light purple striped stockings, white shoes, and a belt tied around her left leg. He raised his hand upward in greeting.
"You guys are from the newspaper club, aren't you?" she asked in a quiet voice.
"Yeah, that'd be us alright," Yozora said.
"I see you also like each other. To tell you the truth, I never understood that quite well," the girl said shyly.
Kurumu was about to ask what that meant, when Yozora placed his arm in front of her so as not to start a conflict.
"Is it alright if I have a newspaper?" she asked.
"Oh, okay, as long as you don't mind it being folded up," said Tsukune, who passed it to her.
The girl took a careful look at him from head to foot, her eyes full of curiosity.
"You must be Tsukune Aono. You look a lot cuter than I imagined you'd be," she said with a shy smile.
Tsukune was a bit confused, until he saw his wizard-friend approach the girl.
"I'm Yozora Ikeda. And these three are Moka Akashiya, Kurumu Kurono, and Yukari Sendo," he said, holding his hand out to her.
"My name is Mizore Shirayuki. It's a pleasure to meet you all," she replied as she took his hand and shook it.
"Hey we're gonna have an after club party later on. You wanna join us?" he asked.
"I'd be happy too," replied Mizore, as she saw how handsome Yozora's face looked.
She saw that his mismatched eyes were red and blue, and that his silver hair looked spiked down. Slowly she turned away and walked off with her hand raised in farewell.
"See you soon Mizore," Yozora called to her.
"You too, Yozora," she called back.
The other girls were a bit surprised as well.
"Hey Yozora, who was that girl?" Moka asked curiously.
"She said her name was Mizore Shirayuki. I have a feeling that there's an air of mystery about her," answered Yozora as he had his hands behind his head.
"Well, at the very least, I'm kind of shocked you invited her to our after club party," Kurumu said.
"Yeah, me too Yozora," agreed Yukari.
"Come on guys, Yozora was acting a bit friendly with her. After all he did extend an invitation to her, and she accepted it," said Tsukune.
"There's an old human saying that goes like this: 'A friend in need, is a friend indeed,' Once school is done, we start the party!" said Yozora.
They all exchanged a fist bump with each other, and the matter was settled. In Miss Nekonome's class, Tsukune, Moka and Kurumu were all a bit skeptical about Yozora's decision, but they all knew that what he said was final. Miss Nekonome was just taking roll call, when she stopped at Mizore's name.
"I'm sure she'll be here soon," Yozora assured her.
To everyone's surprise, they saw that he was right. Mizore had arrived and sat down in front of Tsukune, and to Yozora's left.
"See, no problem at all," he said with a satisfied smirk, which made Mizore giggle.
Miss Nekonome nodded and explained that Mizore would be joining them in class after a few circumstances that prevented her from joining them. Tsukune and Moka were a bit startled, but Yozora just gave her a thumbs up that made her feel a bit more welcome amongst everyone. By the time the school bell rang, Class had already ended. Moka had said that she and Kurumu would buy the snacks from the store, while Yukari would gather the drinks, so long as she didn't accidentally get anything that would taste alcoholic.
"Okay then, catch you guys later," Yozora said.
"Oh one more thing Yozora. I'll bring some of my special cookies too," Kurumu said.
Although Tsukune had tried them before, Yozora smiled as he exchanged a high five with the succubus. They all headed off as Yozora turned to see Mizore watching him from behind.
"Guess you kind of overheard me talking to Tsukune, Moka, and Kurumu, didn't you?" he said.
"You got me, so hello again Yozora," Mizore said shyly.
Yozora placed his hands in his pockets as Mizore approached him with the newspaper Tsukune gave him.
"After reading the newspaper Tsukune gave me, most of the articles he wrote were quite entertaining," she said to him.
"Judging from what you said, you're quite familiar with my bro's work," Yozora said as he was prepared to head off to the club room.
"Of course. Even when I wasn't in school, Miss Nekonome always brought over issues from the Yokai Gazette to me to read. Most of the articles I read were yours, but I did see some interesting stuff you wrote in the newspaper," she said, presenting her yearbook to him.
"Yeah, I'm actually rather proud of my work in the club. Gin even recommended that I be an undercover journalist for the club," Yozora said with a small hint of pride in his voice.
He had opened the book Mizore gave him and saw that the pages had the articles he wrote taped inside of it, with compliments written around them.
"You like it?" she asked sweetly.
"Yeah, I fully appreciate every comment about all the work I put my heart and soul into to make it have some interesting facts about what's happening on the campus," replied the wizard.
"Well aren't you sweet. I really do like the articles that you and Tsukune wrote down. You write down how the strong must help the weak overcome any obstacle that stands in their way. That's something I can relate to about you two. Your personalities and the way you think about things reminds me of myself a whole lot," Mizore said sweetly.
Yozora gently placed his arm around the girl, making her feel at ease.
"Tsukune told me that you used to be a loner just like me," she said in an audible whisper.
"Yeah, I used to be in the past. but that all changed when I met Tsukune, Moka, Kurumu, Yukari, and Gin. They're part of my heart just like how you became a part of our hearts," Yozora assured her.
"That's so sweet of you to say about me. I want to learn more about that connection you have," she said as she placed her arm around him.
In the faculty room, Miss Nekonome was approached by Mr. Kotsubo, who wanted to know the whereabouts of Mizore. Miss Nekonome heard that Mizore had just arrived at school sometime after the semester had begun, but was told to be cautious around her.
"She never attended a single class when she enrolled, and it's only prudent to assume that she's tackling some very serious issues," Mr. Kotsubo said in a serious tone.
"As far as anyone is concerned, she did cause some serious problems back in Jr. High," said Miss Ririko Kagome.
"In the meantime, I'd suggest that you be sure she doesn't become a bad influence on anyone, including any of the other students on school grounds," warned Mr. Kotsubo.
At the campus store, Mizore and Yozora saw Moka, Kurumu, Tsukune, and Yukari all getting snacks and drinks for the after school party they had planned together when the store clerk saw them.
"Oh, hello, Mizore. Is this your boyfriend?" he asked.
"Hmm… I'm not sure yet," she replied.
"Hey, aren't you… You are! The guy who's also part of the Newspaper Club! I heard you sold some newspapers about some peeping tom that framed Tsukune for a crime he never committed. When you told Yukari about your past, which did make her have a change of heart. So I can acknowledge that you're a pretty good guy! I'm so sorry for misjudging you. Please feel free to look around for something for Ms. Shirayuki," said the clerk.
The store clerk then looked to Mizore.
"You should know Mizore, most of the items have my own stamp of approval," he said.
"Actually, Yozora Isn't my boyfriend yet. I just met him. But maybe… There's something there. Maybe," she said.
Mizore asked if she could look around the store. Yozora nodded, and allowed her to see what she liked, but suddenly tapped her shoulder as an idea had fluttered into his head.
"Hey, Mizore, to show my gratitude for how much you appreciate all the work I've done in the Newspaper club, I'll buy you something nice. Just give me a good forty seconds to go get it for you," he said.
Mizore seemed a bit hesitant, but nodded her approval.
"Then consider it a one-day anniversary gift of our first meeting," he said, posing like a superhero.
"Okay, I want this one," she said pointing to a ring that had a snowflake on it.
"All right, I'll go buy it. I'll be right back," replied Yozora.
A few seconds later, he placed the ring onto her ring finger.
"How's that?" he asked.
Mizore looked at her hand, and saw the beautiful snowflake over her finger.
"Thank you, Yozora! I'll always wear it as a memento of our time together!" she said excitedly.
She asked if they still had some time left before the party, to which Yozora nodded to her in acknowledgment.
"Why don't we go to the pond?" asked Mizore.
"Whoa, that kinda sounds like a date! Okay, Let's go," he said excitedly.
Outside at the pond, Mizore had tossed a smooth rock towards the water and watched it skipping across the surface.
"Hey did you see that, Yozora?" she asked.
"Holy cats, you made it skip nine times!" Yozora said, giving her a high five.
"You're turn," said Mizore.
"Okay, stand back," the wizard said to her.
He picked up one the smoothest rock he could find and with a flick of his wrist made it skip across the water fourteen times. MIzore was ecstatic.
"Oh my gosh, fourteen times, that was beautiful!" she said excitedly.
"I'll admit, I used to do this kind of game with some friends of mine from my old school back in the human world," Yozora said to her.
The two students were now walking side by side when they stopped on a bridge as two more students passed them.
"So, did you ever have a girlfriend?" she asked curiously.
"Not really," Yozora said, with a somber look in his eyes.
"Do you ever think about having one?" she asked again.
"What do you mean?" the wizard asked her.
"Most students at human high schools, form strong bonds with people, and then after time passes by, they eventually have children to carry on their legacy. I know that it's natural, but there are times when they split apart, and it causes that connection to falter and disappear, doesn't it?" Mizore said, looking at him with a similar expression.
"So they say," Yozora said.
"But a happy relationship is something people should have. I think so, at least. Most humans are kind of… strange," Mizore said to him.
"They're… strange, huh?" replied Yozora as he crossed his arms and turned slightly to his right, while he still maintained eye contact with Mizore.
"And yet, some relationships don't go so well after a falling out. And then, they start to feel lonely after sometime by themselves," she said.
Yozora did feel something different about Mizore. He wanted to learn more about her.
"Actually, I wanted to know what you are, Mizore," he said.
"I'm what you'd call a Yuki-onna. In other words, a snow fairy," she said to him, as they were a safe distance from everyone else.
Yozora wasn't phased by that statement, but he knew that most of the rules at Yokai Academy did have a few loopholes.
"Well, I think you're more like a snow angel, than a snow fairy," he said.
Mizore started blushing intensely at what she just heard.
"Did I say something wrong?" asked the wizard.
"No, it's just that nobody's called me a snow angel before," she said quickly.
"Then I guess, you're okay with me calling you that?" Yozora asked her.
"O-of course Yozora. Now I'm curious about what you are," Mizore said after she calmed down.
"Well, I'm a wizard who was born from a human priest and a witch, which puts me in the midway point between human and monster," Yozora said.
"Oh, I'm sorry…" Mizore said as she turned her head away in shame.
Yozora thought that he hurt her feelings by saying what type of monster he was, until she saw him looking at her as he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.
"So beautiful…" she said.
"The face?" he asked with a grin.
"The eyes!" Mizore said with a giggle.
"You like them? Then take a closer look," replied Yozora as he approached her.
"Eyes infused with light and darkness. An Ikeda family trademark," he said proudly.
Mizore looked at Yozora's eyes and gently nudged his shoulder.
"Oh, you!" she laughed.
Yozora also started laughing as well.
"Color of night and day, right?" he asked.
"Mm-hmm… but not scary at all!," answered Mizore.
"I'll admit it, things haven't been normal at all lately," he said as he slowly turned away from her.
But then Yozora faced her again.
"What about you, Mizore? How's your life going?" he asked.
"I was thinking it would be a normal day, but then suddenly… you greeted me with a handshake and introduced me to your friends," replied the snow angel.
"That's not all that bad," Yozora protested in his casual tone.
Mizore nodded with a smile on her face, until Tsukune arrived to see them.
"Yozora, the party's about to start. Moka and the others have the snacks in the club room," he said.
"I'm on my way," replied Yozora.
He looked sadly at Mizore, as Tsukune raced off into the distance to help finish preparations.
"I'm sorry, but I got plans with the Newspaper club," he said.
"It's okay Yozora, I understand," replied Mizore.
She was just about to walk away, when she remembered what Yozora asked her.
"Will you take me with you to the party?" she asked.
"Of course!" Yozora replied with a kind smile.
"I hope we can have a bit of fun with your friends, Yozora," said Mizore.
Yozora was a bit confused.
"I mean having a good time together," she explained.
"Yeah, it'll be fun. It's thanks to my new family," agreed Yozora.
In the club room, Tsukune, Moka, Kurumu, and Yukari had just managed to finish gathering the last of the supplies for the wrap party, when the succubus started clinging to him.
"Well, that's the last of the supplies. But where'd you find Yozora?" she asked him.
"Oh, I found him out by the pond with Mizore. They were probably on a date, or something," he said.
"Maybe, we should plan a date too in the future. It could help you open up a bit more about us," Kurumu said in a seductive tone.
But before her lips could meet with Tsukune's, Moka and Yukari saw the door open. Yozora and Mizore had just arrived.
"Now kiss!" he called to his friends, making them both jump in surprise.
"Geez louise, Yozora, what's your excuse for scaring me like that!?" snapped Kurumu.
Yozora couldn't help but laugh his head off, especially with Moka and Yukari laughing their heads off at how he had a hilarious idea of stopping Kurumu from draining Tsukune's life force, but he calmed down just long enough.
"I should have known you were still planning to find a way to make Tsukune be yours for all time. Even Mizore's a bit surprised that I had a special plan to make sure you didn't pull that stunt on him a couple of days ago. I just wanted to make sure our party was still on for the afternoon," Yozora said with a bit of a goofy grin.
"I suppose. But I was starting to wonder where you were with Moka and Yukari," replied Kurumu.
"What are you talking about? You're somewhat impossible to read like a book!" squeaked the witchling.
"You're here too, right, Mizore?" asked Moka.
"Of course I am," the snow angel said shyly.
"Well, what matters is we'll have plenty of fun together," Tsukune told her.
"Yeah, it's a bit of a celebration. And with you here we can share stories how we first met each other," added Yozora.
Kurumu giggled a bit to herself.
"Well, no point in delaying the party anymore than we need to. So let's get it started!" she said with her fist raised to the ceiling.
"I'm with you there Kurumu. And since it's been one hell of a few months, I figured we'd earned ourselves an opportunity to laze around and kick back. Don't you think?" Yozora asked with a smirk.
"I don't know, Yozora. I heard some of the students say that I'm like a bad luck charm," she said somberly.
"Oh, come on! It'll be fun," Tsukune said as he placed his hand on Mizore's shoulder.
"Well, okay then," the snow angel said, nodding her head slowly.
As soon as everyone began stuffing themselves silly, with food and drink, Yozora took off his robe, sweater, and tie, and unbuttoned the top two buttons on his shirt, to reveal part of his chest, which did make Kurumu almost faint from shock, until Tsukune did splash a tiny bit of cold water onto her face (Whilst being careful not to accidentally splash Moka with it, as he was already aware that vampires didn't like water all that much) to keep her awake.
"Phew, thanks Tsukune, I guess I needed that," she said.
"No problem Kurumu," he replied.
"Well at very least, I'm sure Gin would have wanted to join us. But I'm sure he's taken some of my suggestions to heart," said Yozora.
"Wait, who's Gin?" asked Mizore.
"Oh, his full name's Ginei Morioka, but we mostly call him Gin. He's our club president, and the alpha of our group, which also does kind of make me the Beta of this group. But despite the fact that he can be a bit of a troublemaker from time to time, I still respect him as a leader," explained Yozora.
.
"That's actually a pretty good description about him," said Yukari.
"Yeah, a pretty good choice of words about him," agreed Moka.
"Also, I'm sure he'd be willing to welcome you into the pack with open arms. After all, we did learn that he's a werewolf, and he's also something of a speed demon whenever the moon is full," Yozora explained to the snow angel.
He began talking about what type of monsters most of his friends were, whilst being careful not to drop the bombshell about Tsukune being a human, which did make Moka feel relieved. As everybody started chugging down whatever drinks were in front of them
"Oh yeah, that hits the spot," Kurumu said in a loopy tone.
"Geez louise Kurumu, how many root-beers did you have?" asked Yukari.
"Well, at least I got plenty of tomato juice to keep me at a hundred percent, since I'm holding off on drinking Tsukune's blood for now. But, I've been kind of curious about what Yozora's blood would taste like," admitted Moka.
"Well then, how about we play something called the King's Game?" suggested Yozora.
"Sure, why not?" everyone said together.
Yozora pulled some straws out of the bag and placed red tape over the tip of one of them, while the rest were bare and had no tops on them. When they pulled the straws together, everyone saw that Tsukune was the king as he'd gotten the straw with the red tape on over the hole.
"Looks like I'm the king," he said coolly.
"So what is your command, your majesty?" asked Kurumu.
"Well, I want number 3 to give me a cute kiss," Tsukune said, as he pointed to Moka.
"It shall be the king's orders are absolute," Moka said shyly.
Moka slowly leaned towards him, and gently placed her lips on Tsukune's cheek. It was a bit of a shock to Yukari and Kurumu, but Yozora knew that this was indeed a fun game. Everyone drew straws once again, but this time they saw that Yozora had gotten the straw with the red tape on it. He tossed it into the air, and caught it in his hand as the rest of his shirt somehow unbuttoned itself completely.
"Now I'm the king," he said.
He pointed to Kurumu and Mizore.
"Numbers four and five, I want the both of you to sit upon my lap and cuddle with me," the wizard said in a tone that made him sound suave and smooth at the same time.
He grabbed a dart from the table and flung it right at the dart board on the wall, managing to score a perfect bull's eye, that made Yukari rather surprised.
"Consider it done," the succubus and snow angel said together.
"Wait, what!? You can't do that!" protested Yukari.
"Actually, my young apprentice, I can. Because the king's orders…" Yozora said in his smooth tone.
"...Are absolute!" Moka and Tsukune said together.
Mizore seemed a bit hesitant but Kurumu told her that while this game was strange for them, it would actually get better for them. Mizore slowly but surely sat down upon Yozora's lap, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pressed her cheek up to his. Then Kurumu smoothly sat on Yozora's right leg, did the same thing Mizore had done, while Yozora wrapped both his arms around them and gave off a casual grin.
"Wow, who would've thought that Yozora is actually a really cool guy to have on our side," chuckled Tsukune.
"Yeah, he really is mysterious," agreed Moka.
It was now Kurumu's turn to be the king, and she pointed to Moka.
"Since you were curious about what Yozora's blood tastes like, Go right on ahead and drink it on up," said Kurumu as she danced about like a goofball.
"You heard her Moka. Because the king's orders are absolute," added Yozrora.
"Well, all right then. But please don't hold it against me if I accidentally hurt you," she said with slight concern in her voice.
Yozora stood strong, as he saw Moka slowly approach him, and sink her vampiric fangs into his neck. It did feel a bit painful, but Yozora dismissed it as no more than a minor bug bite. When she released him, Moka felt like she was on cloud nine once again.
"Wow, this new flavor tasted so good," she said in excitement, as she spun around and collapsed onto the sofa.
"You're not hurt, are you Yozora?" asked Tsukune.
"It does sting a little bit, but it's not too bad since we've been through a lot more worse scrapes than this together," Yozora assured him.
But then they heard Moka singing, "He put the lime in the coconut and drank it all up," in a goofy tone which did make them all laugh their heads off.
Then it was Yukari's turn to be the king, after Moka had recovered from her ordeal of drinking Yozora's blood.
"Now then, as the King, my order is, you tell me what type of monster you are, Mizore," the witchling said as she pointed at the snow woman.
"Well, even though the rules state that we must never talk about what type of monster we are, Yozora told me that there are some loopholes that can be exploited. I'm actually a Yuki-onna. I have the power to command the element of ice, which is when you turn a liquid, water, into a solid. However, Yozora did say that Yuki-onna also has another meaning. So he chose to call me a Snow Angel," explained Mizore.
"Wait a minute, Yozora called you a snow angel!?" Kurumu asked in a surprised tone.
"That's right, I can make anything with my mastery over the element of ice. I can make Ice daggers, ice claws, perform an Ice punch, create Icy replications of myself, and even use the Dragon Hail Bullet attack when my ice claws are fully extended," she said sweetly.
"Then I guess, I'm happy that Yozora called you a Snow Angel," Tsukune said to the Yuki-onna.
"Thank you, Tsukune," she replied.
When the King's game had come to a close, everyone hoped they would see each other again, but Mizore decided to tag along with Yozora after he got his uniform back together again.
"Where are you off to?" she asked.
"Oh, well, I was kinda hoping we'd do something together later on," replied Yozora, as he had already buttoned up his shirt, put on his necktie, sweater, and robe.
"I think that's a good idea, but i do have some bad news. You see, one of the teachers has been harassing me for a long time, because he believes I hurt some of the students by nearly freezing them to death," Mizore said somberly.
This angered Yozora to know end.
"That bastard is gonna pay for making everyone think you're the bad guy," he said darkly.
MIzore saw that Yozora's hair started to flare upwards until she saw his fist clenched in anger.
"It's time to prove your innocence," Yozora said to her.
But his plans came sooner than expected when Mr. Kotsubo saw Mizore standing beside him with her hands upon his own.
"Mr. Ikeda, what are you doing with Miss Shirayuki?" he asked him.
"I should very much like to ask you the same thing!" Yozora snapped back.
Meanwhile, Tsukune, Moka, Kurumu, and Yukari were walking to their dorms when they heard screaming in the distance.
"What in the world is going on over there?" asked the witchling.
She saw that Miss Nekonome was nearby, as she looked worried.
"Oh thank goodness you're all here. Mr. Kotsubo is attacking Mizore and Yozora. I should have realized that something was off about that man," she said in desperation.
"What!?" they all gasped in shock.
"Diamond Dust!" shouted Mizore and Yozora.
Instantly Mr. Kotsubo was now trapped in a large block of ice. He tried to break out, but then Mizore snapped her fingers causing the ice around him to shatter.
"You see, Mizore has been having a lot of trouble trying to fit in, because of his behavior towards the girls around him that Mizore hasn't been herself at all. That's why expulsion is the only way we can resolve this matter," Miss Ririko said firmly.
"That's crazy! You can't do that to someone who's done no wrong!" protested Tsukune.
"Yeah, We'll prove that Mizore's innocent!" agreed Kurumu.
"Then that means-" Yukari was about to say as she traced her connection to Yozora through her heart.
"Yozora is with her!" Moka cried out.
The four of them quickly raced out the door to find them, with Yukari leading the way.
"I hope that we're not too late!" Tsukune said to his friends.
"Don't worry about Yozora. He's able to adapt to fighting monsters that are stronger than him, so that he can exploit their weaknesses," Kurumu said.
She quickly unfurled her wings and soon took off into the sky, while Moka, Yukari, Tsukune continued to run as fast as their legs would take them.
"Whoa, where's the fire?" asked Gin.
"It's MIzore and she's in big trouble!" Tsukune said as he raced passed him.
"Oh no, what's happening to her!?" he asked in shock.
While most of Yozora's friends were rushing to the rescue, he grabbed Mizore and jumped clear of one of the tentacles that tried to grab them. But Mizore channeled her ice magic to make a smooth ramp for them to slide down to safety.
"Mizore is a danger to all students and must be expelled for this!" Mr. Kotsubo said.
"Like I'd even give a damn about that!" Yozora barked back as he shot lightning spells from his wand, which did cause some serious damage.
"If you wish to face expulsion as well, so be it!" shouted the gym teacher.
"You won't expel us that easily!" Mizore shouted back as she channeled her ice magic to summon two long swords made entirely of ice.
She quickly lunged at him and started hacking at the tentacles with careful precision and planning on her part. As she did so, Yozora did see his snow angel was actually performing her own style of dancing called a sword dance. Mr. Kotsubo cried out in pain and agony as his tentacles were hacked off one by one by Mizore's ice blades.
"Yozora, catch!" she called to him.
Yozora caught the other ice blade in his free hand, but he felt no pain as he held it.
"Come and get us, spawn of Cthulhu!" he said with a glint of determination in his eyes.
He swiped at Mr. Kotsubo's monster form, which he learned was called a Kraken. While it's tentacles were massive and had suction cups that could rip off someone's face, It's breath actually smelled quite horrible. The two combatants raced along Mr. Kotsubo's back as they swiped at him with their swords just as Tsukune and his friends arrived.
"Nice to see you guys!" Yozora said as he and Mizore jumped off him.
"I know you think that I'm a problem child, but the reason behind that is because Mr. Kotsubo has been giving me a hard time in all of my classes!" added Mizore.
"Why that rotten squid, he's gone too far this time!" snapped Kurumu as she extended her claws.
"Even I find that more worse than what happened a few days before we even met you," added Gin, transforming into his werewolf form.
Yukari nodded her agreement as Tsukune pulled off the Rosary to summon the other Moka to the battlefield.
"It's time to make him pay for his crimes," said the silver-haired Moka.
MIzore charged again, but this time Mr. Kotsubo struck her hard across the face, that it sent her flying to the cliff face where she would fall to her death.
"NO!" screamed Yozora, and he charged at her.
"This time you've gone too far!' agreed Gin, who charged at him and began to claw at his foe.
But to their surprise, Mizore had suddenly appeared from below the cliff with an angry glare in her eyes, and struck at him with a powerful uppercut from her sword.
"Yozora! Yukari! You're up!" she called to the two spellcasters.
They nodded and raised their wands in the air.
"Come forth, Shiva! Goddess of Ice!" Yozora and Yukari said together.
In an instant, a giant crystal emerged behind them from the ground, and shattered to reveal Shiva in her full glory.
"Face me and ye shall know death's chill embrace," said a voice that was both beautiful and divine.
"Oh my gosh!" gasped Tsukune.
"She's beautiful!" added Kurumu.
The avatar of Ice then raised her hand in the air and engulfed her target in a much more thick layer of ice. Then with a click of her fingers, the ice shattered around Mr. Kotsubo, who was in so much pain that he reverted back to his human form and surrendered to the newspaper club.
"I know that Mizore is a bit of a problem child, but she has to answer for what she did to those students," he said.
"Sounds to me like you don't know the first thing about people trying to protect themselves!" said the Silver-haired Moka, as she kicked him back towards the cliff and glared down at him.
"If you know what's good for you, You'll clear Mizore of all charges you've falsely accused her of, and refrain from your devious actions!" added Yozora.
Everyone else nodded in agreement with Moka and Yozora's words as they all glared at him with their arms folded. Then Yozora pulled out his own personal stopwatch and saw that they achieved a record of nearly 80.5 seconds on the clock.
"Talk about a new record," he said quietly.
A short while later, everyone was now back in the club room and were all wrapped in blankets, except for Yozora and Gin, who had used a special heat spell to keep his body temperature at normal levels, while Gin's werewolf abilities kept him warm in the freezing temperatures they had to endure.
"Wow, I'm surprised most of us took a beating," said Gin.
"But it's thanks to all of you that Mizore's been proven innocent, and Mr. Kotsubo is going to be fired for all the harassment he pulled on all the female students at the school," added Miss Nekonome with a cheery smile.
"Speaking of which, here she is now," Yozora said as he motioned for MIzore to enter.
"Hey guys, I decided to try out a new look. What do you all think?" she asked.
"I think it looks great. I like this new look a whole lot," Yozora said as he placed his hands behind his head and smiled at her.
Everyone else wholeheartedly agreed.
"After putting a stop to Mr. Kotsubo's actions of treating women like objects, I feel that I've been reborn. And this new hairdo is my way of starting over from scratch," she said in a near audible whisper.
"Yeah, I think you'd be a great new piece of news for the school paper," replied Gin, as he pulled out his camera and took a snapshot of her.
"Also, thanks for helping us out and getting some pictures of what just happened, Gin. We really appreciate it," said Tsukune.
Gin smiled at them as he and Yozora exchanged a fist bump with each other. But then he saw the photos in his pocket and picked them up again.
"Gin, I don't what caused you to do this crap again, But I swear to pete that I'm gonna give Tsukune another reason to let Moka's silver-haired incarnation kick your ass!" he snapped.
"Oh, crap!" cried Gin, but he was unable to run away since Yozora had stopped him with an immobilizing spell from his wand.
"Hold on Yozora, how about we put him in his place for the other Moka?" suggested Kurumu.
"Fair enough, he's all yours ladies," he said as he sat back on his chair.
"Well, it's like they say, 'all's well that ends well,' right Tsukune?" said Moka.
"I couldn't agree more, Moka," replied Tsukune.
And together, they performed a three-way fist bump with Yozora as they sang their own rendition of the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare.
