Arc 2 Chapter 3: A surprise Visit

The person came and almost immediately hugged Izuku and Ochako. "Nice to see you again, cuz."

"Nice to see you too Melissa!" Ochako said, smiling.

"What are you doing here, Melissa?" Izuku asked the girl.

"Well, I talked with my parents about something concerning me transferring to another school to share my creations," Melissa told her surrogate cousin, "They were surprisingly supportive of what I wanted to do."

"So you're part of the U.A family?" Izuku asked.

Melissa nodded. "Part student, part intern, all Shield," she told them.

"So what do you got cooking this time?" Ochako asked her unofficial surrogate cousin in law.

"Well, I made a newer version of your full boots, to congratulate you on your 'debut' as you know, the son of uncle toshi, I also made something to help you with your punches since I noticed that you tended to use your fist for the final blow. I thought of making you a support item," Melissa showed Izuku another box, opening it to show two small bands.

Melissa handed the bands to Ochako, "Place it on his hands and press the red top." she tells ochako.

Ochako complies, placing the band on Izuku's hand and pressing the red button, activating the gauntlet causing it to wrap around the greenete's hand.

"Amazing isn't it?" Melissa asks.

"It sure is," Izuku answered, examining the band. "What is it made up of?"

"Well its a combination of nanotechnology and a self-healing cloth called the wolverine cloth. It helps keep the device safe and with your power hopefully can make it last longer." Melissa explains. "Oh and the full boots are also have new features too."

Melissa brought out a new version of the Full Boots. They looked different from the original version, because there was no tape wrapped around it.

"These boots are made from reinforced steel," Melissa said, "I also made them to be lighter on your shoes, so you should have no problem moving at your usual speeds. The light near the elbows also indicates how much power is stacked into your legs."

"This is awesome!" Izuku commented, "These will work great with my new ultimate moves!"

"Ooh, I got something too," Hatsume said walking by them, "I was thinking about that baby you asked me about the other day, that can harness wind pressure into some of your ranged attacks."

"Oh yea that's right," Melissa said, "You did ask me for my help on that device."

Flashback, to a few days back

Izuku was explaining to Hatsume about an idea for a support item for his arms. Hatsume was writing down exactly what he needed and smiled.

"So you wanna be able to direct wind pressure do ya?" she asked.

"Yeah, I need more control over my blasts," Izuku told the pink haired girl, "Especially if we'll be fighting in a city."

"You know, I had a baby that could do something similar," Hatsume said, "I can start rejiggering it now. Once the application goes through I can get it to you soon."

"Really thanks!" Izuku said

Hatsume arrived with a bigger box and opened it.

"Tadaaaa!" she said, "The Air Force Gloves!"

Izuku took a look at them. They looked like regular gloves, but they also had funnels attached to them.

"With these gloves on you should be able to shoot consecutive wind blasts with full control," Hatsume said.

"I also added a few different functions to the gloves

"So why else were you here, Izuku?" Melissa asks.

"Well, we were here to help Jojo, actually." Izuku explains.

Kenshi stepped forward.

"You see, I have this new move called glitch," Kenshi said, "It kinda enhances my body in a similar manner to Midoriya's Full Cowl, but not as strong as his. It kinda doubles the damage. But I'm a bit concerned that my suit won't be able to handle it's full power."

"You want a new suit, you got one," Hatsume said.

"Thanks," Kenshi said, "You're the greatest."

"This doesn't mean I'm not still angry with you for what you did!" Hatsume said, threatening him with a wrench.

With Kirishima.

Kirishima was sitting in his room, 2 thoughts running wild in his mind, the first was regarding his ultimate move. He knew that he didn't have a flashy quirk like Izuku or Bakugou and his quirk also didn't help in ranged combat either. His quirk basically made him hard, increasing his defencs and his attack by reducing his speed.

The second thought was regarding a specific pink girl with yellow horns and black eyes. Kirishima didn't know why his best friend kept popping up in his mind all the time. It frustrated him to no end.

Kirishima was sitting on his bed, well technically lying on it, pondering the 2 thoughts in his mind, when a knock on his door pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Kiri, you there?" the voice on the other side asked.

"Yup, gimme a minute, Ashi." Kirishima says as he gets up and wears the first shirt he could find in the mess of his room.

He opened the door and let the girl in. "so….."

"Well, what were you thinking for your ultimate move?" Mina asked.

"I'm not sure." Kirishima answers. "My quirk isn't all that flashy and only works short distances. I'm not sure how i can make it work."

"Hmmmmm…" Mina says, trying to think of a way to help the boy. "What if you make your whole body hard, like make yourself super hard, ummm, like, like your unbreakable spirit, your body becomes so tough that its difficult to break through."

"Not a bad idea, i'll be sacrificing more speed but i think i can work with that." Kirishima says. "Thank you, so much Mina, I'm not sure what i would do without you."

Mina blushed, because this was the first time kirishma had called her by her first name. It had always been either horn-buddy or Ashido or Ashi. "Y-your welcome, ei."

"Anyway, what did you need?" Kirishima asks.

"I was wondering if we could go to the support department, I need a small change in my costume and I'll probably get lost on my way there." Mina says.

"S-sure, gimme a minute and i'll meet you down in the hall?" Kirishima replied.

"Alright, see you in 5, Ei." Mina says as she leaves the boy in his room.

Later, the two of them started heading to the studio and overheard some chatter. They saw Izuku, Ochako, and Kenshi talking with Hatsume and Melissa.

Hatsume and Melissa were talking about whether or not the gloves and gauntlet would go together.

"Well based off of Izuku's destructive power, it may overload the gloves," Melissa chimed in, "I know you worked hard on those gloves and I don't wanna destroy them."

"Well the gauntlets might not be able to handle the wind pressure stored into Midoriya's gloves, and they might break," Hatsume said.

As they kept talking, Kenshi stepped up.

"I got an idea," Kenshi said, "If you can't decide whether or not to use the gloves or gauntlets, then…"

Kenshi went to the hologram and reconfigured it a bit. He found a way to merge the two support items into one, that way Izuku could have the best of both worlds, like his enhanced speed and strength in Full Cowling.

"Why not put them together," Kenshi said.

A lot of people reacted with awe at what Kenshi did, especially Power Loader.

"How the hell did you do that?!" he asked.

"Comes from sitting on my ass playing video games all the time," Kenshi answered.

"Jojo, this is amazing," Melissa said, "Most support items do have more than one function. What do you say Hatsume, wanna get started?"

"Oh boy do I?!" Hatsume said as she got excited..

Someone tapped Kenshi's shoulder. He turned around to see Kirishima.

"Hey man, we noticed how you managed to handle that support item situation, and I was wondering…" Kirishima started off, "Do you have any pointers on what items I should have?"

Mina also approached him and said, "What about me? I'm trying to find an item to help increase the distance of my acid geyser."

Kenshi was surprised by this. "Really?"

"Actually, I wouldn't mind getting some pointers from Jotaro about support items as well," Iida said.

"I told you to call me Jojo," Kenshi said.

"Eh…. yes, I would like some pointers from you as well Jojo," Iida said.

"I could also use some pointers for my suit," Izuku told him.

Kenshi was smiling and surprised that people would want his help.

"Yes! I'd be glad to help you guys!" Kenshi said, "Ok, so you guys write down exactly what you need, and I'll write down some notes as far as the support items that I think will fit your needs."

"So many babies…. So little time!" Hatsume said.

Some of the others joined in and asked Kenshi for advice as far as costumes and support items. Izuku and Ochako couldn't help but smile at Kenshi for getting the attention he deserves.

Leo walked by and noticed Melissa in the door. Melissaa looked and saw him.

"Leo/Melissa!" They said to each other.

The two of them rushed into each other and gave a tight embrace. Then they shared a kiss. This earned some 'Ooooooohhhhhs' from the others.

Later on that evening, everyone was discussing the training and ultimate moves that was happening. Kenshi was by Momo's side and she was making him a cup of tea. She was amazed the most at what happened today.

"It's almost as if you were born to design support items and give out advice," Momo told him, "For someone like you to get all that attention is rather impressive."

"Its ok I guess," Kenshi said, "What do you think of the costume design I made for you?"

"I love it!" Momo said, "It gives me more areas to use my body to create things. Its really sweet how you did this for me."

Kenshi blushed.

Kirishima seemed a bit unfocused lately. The guys have been calling his name for a minute but he didn't respond.

"Kirishhima!" Tsu said snapping him out of his thoughts.

"OH, sorry guys," Kirishima said, "Its just…. Well…. Lately my heart's been feeling a bit jumbly lately."

Ochako knew what was going on.

"You're in love!" She and Tsu exclaimed in unison.

"WHAT?!" Kirishima snapped, "Glove, shove, dove?! I don't know what you're talking about?"

"Come on, spill the beans!" Kenshi said walking by them, "who is it?"

"I think I know," Jirou said, "It's Mina, isn't it?"

"No no no, you got it all wrong, I'm not in love with anybody!" Kirishima said.

Ochako smirked and tapped his head, making him float.

"Come on and tell us!" Momo said, "I'm not one to dive into someone's business when it comes to crushes, but even I wanna know."

"Tell us and I'll release you from floating," Ochako said.

"Tell us what?" Mina asked walking in.

Ochako released Kirishima and he fell on the couch.

"Oh, we were just talking about…"

"Ultimate moves!" Camie said, "We figured Kirishima had something planned so we wanted to know."

"Well if we're talking about moves, I think Midori should share what he's got going on?"

Izuku stepped up.

"Well, one of my moves involves stacking more power into my arms to make them stronger for attacks," Izuku explained, "I'm also working on a new ranged attack."

"Cool," Kaminari said, "Meanwhile Hatsume's working on something for me to help control my electricity better. This baby will also let me make objects made of electricity as well!"

Ochako used her quirk on herself making her weightless. She started flying around the room.

"This is what I've been working on," Ochako told him.

Everyone turned to Kenshi. "What do you got?" Kaminari asked.

"Ehh I don't know if I can do it in here," Kenshi said, "I don't want Aizawa getting on my ass for destruction of property"

"Well can you do it out there?" Kirishima asked.

"Come on," Izuku said, "Share with us."

Kenshi was a little bit hesitant at first. But the others cheered him on and begged him.

"Come on," Ochako said, "Jojo. Jojo. Jojo! Jojo! Jojo!"

The other kids started chanting with her, "Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo!"

Kenshi eventually gave in. He started going outside and the others cheered.

"Get down when I tell you," Kenshi said.

"Get down when I tell you," Sero said, mocking him.

Kenshi got to a comfortable spot where he could show off his new ultimate move. The other students watched from the window, wanting to get all the action.

"Get back," Kenshi said.

The students started to move back. They came to the window again, not wanting to miss anything. As Kenshi was getting ready, he saw them.

"Get back!" he repeated himself.

They all stood where they were.

"Whatevs," Kenshi said.

He focused the glitch energy around his arm. When he had enough stacked into his arm, he then did a downward punch to the ground. The second his fist made impact with the ground, it dispelled the focused energy emitting a shockwave going as far as 20 ft from Kenshi.

The other students were amazed at what he could do, especially Momo. She was happy that Kenshi took her advice and used it well.

"Woo!" she said, "That's my Kenshi!"

Aizawa was watching them chatter about their new moves. He couldn't help but smile at this.

"These kids will become great heroes one day," he said to himself.

Let's take a look at some of Izuku's new moves and gear.

Power Stack: Burst Limit

The first of Izuku Midoriya's Ultimate Moves that he will currently be working on for the provisional License Exam. This move has a heavy focus on his melee based style when he attacks with his fists and his legs. During this move, Izuku stays at Full Cowl at an output he is comfortable with. The second he releases the attack, he goes for a higher output, increasing the power of his attack.

This move is learned when Izuku is sparring with Ectoplasm during Ultimate Move Training. As Izuku is training, Ectoplasm approaches Izuku believing he is struggling to come up with something original. While Izuku did develop Shoot Style over the summer, which utilizes his legs, he would rather come up with something original and not rehash old moves.

Ectoplasm analyzes Izuku's quirk and discovers it is more of a power type, and advises Izuku to come up with an ultimate move based on that. He then advises Izuku to stay at Full Cowl at an output he is most comfortable with, and then go for a higher output the moment of the attack. In addition to this, Izuku uses Power Stack as a multiplier to increase the output of One For All that he can use.

By doing this, Izuku is able to increase the attack power of his punches and kicks. This move is so strong it could have Izuku break through walls.

To help with this ultimate move, Melissa develops gloves for Izuku's arms known as the Full Force Gauntlets. These gloves swerve made for Izuku to be able to go for higher outputs of One For All without injury. She also developed a new version of the Full Boots equipped with Iron Soles, due to the original Full Boots he used in I-Island being a prototype, and broke when he used a high output attack.

Known Moves

Detroit Smash (Burst Limit): Izuku does the Detroit smash like normal, however the only difference is, he is increasing his attack power for a stronger attack.

Manchester Smash (Burst Limit): Like the Detroit Smash, Izuku does this move like normal, only he increases his attack power the moment he releases the attack.

Phoenix Smash: A rising spin kick technique in which Izuku rises in the air while striking his opponent with his heels.

Support Item

Full Boots 2.0: A new version of the Full Boots developed by Melissa. This time, the boots are made from reinforced steel that still allows Izuku to move and attack at high speeds. They are also equipped with Iron soles to protect Izuku's feet and legs from damage when using powerful kicks.

Full Gauntlet: Developed by Melissa Shield for Izuku's punches. Once activated, it wraps around Izuku's arm like tape. It fits like a glove for Izuku and is used to allow him to use higher outputs in his punches. He should be able to use his full power provided he has the glove activated.

Air Force Style

A fighting technique that Izuku develops which is more Ranged Based. After observing Bakugo and Todoroki and how they use their quirks, Izuku decides to think back to his internship. He develops a technique in which he focuses the wind pressure and weaponizes it for ranged attacks.

One of the techniques that he has the most control with is the Delaware Smash. However, he decides that he still needs something to help him develop more consecutive wind blasts with his ranged attacks.

Mei develops something that can help him achieve this goal known as Air Force Gloves. These babies were developed to also help Izuku pinpoint and focus on his target when he shoots. The outer layers of the gloves come out to funnel the wind Izuku shoots. When Izuku couldn't decide which support item he wanted to use, Kenshi suggested putting them both together, to have the best of both worlds, like when Izuku uses Full Cowl to have enhanced speed and strength.

Known Super Moves

Delaware Smash (Air Force): One of Izuku's signature moves that is enhanced by the Air Force Gloves. By focusing a specific output of OFA, Izuku is able to shoot consecutive wind blasts

Delaware Smash Bullet Style: An alteration of Delaware Smash. By flicking his fingers constantly on both hands, Izuku can shoot fast paced wind blasts like bullets at his opponent

Support Item

Air Force Gloves: Developed by Mei Hatsume to be able to control the wind pressure in his ranged attacks. With these, Izuku won't accidentally cause collateral damage with his strong wind based moves. At the advice of Kenshi, Melissa and Mei put these and the full gauntlet together to make one support item.
